Excellent Greek food, friendly service.

The food was amazing with large portions. Our service was fast and checked in with us throughout the evening. I recommend the Gyro Piato!

Went Today on a Thursday for my birthday. The atmosphere was empty and the wait staff looked over it. Would have rather came in on a Friday when the wait staff is better and the restaraunt is popping. But besides that, everything was great. Food is great as always. The restaurant has pride in clean dishes, cutlery and presentation. The restrooms are cleaned it seems every 30 minutes. The restroom is completely spotless, smells clean and has a urinal and toilet in the men's which is wheelchair accessible. Loved my experience, love this place, love the food, and will come back on a weekend for sure.

My rack of lamb was the best lamb I’ve ever had, so flavorful and tender. Sides and salad all very good. My husband had a pasta with shrimp and scallops that he loved. They were both the specials of the day. Delicious!

Food was delish except the fries. Our waitress asked 2 guests if they wanted fries. She neglected to add that there would be an additional $10 charge for each. The Athens fries were horrible!! Our server was only 15 years old and didn’t pay much attention to us. Several times we asked for anchovies, bread, extra plate, wine but never received them. Our bills were messed up, too. This was not the quality of service we normally receive at Athens. And there was no belly dancer!

Really disappointed in the experience. The server did not know how to deal with my allergy. The owner came out and provided confidence in ordering Unfortunately, during the meal she visited several times as they didn't follow protocol on the allergy. I ended up with a reaction and 5 days of hell. Shame on them. BTW food was not great either.

First time here. Fairly diverse menu. I ordered the Grecian Grouper which was good. The meal included sides of salad, green beans, rice, and potato, and came with garlic bread. Dessert (purchased separately) was a baklava sundae. Plenty of food!

Service and food this time around was AWFUL. I asked for something that I normally get and was given a hard time. I paid $34, which is expensive for something that I wasn't pleased with. The presentation was better than my meal.

This was our first time trying Athens on 86th and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our server, Alexa, was personable and walked us through the menu. We had the saganaki and gyro pizza as appetizers—the saganaki was the best thing I’d ever tasted! The langostine pasta was rich and tasty and paired well with a wine recommended by Alexa. We cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu!

You see, in the movies on top of spaghetti, yeah, well, I peeled the skin back like I was butchering a chicken and sauce went everywhere . Thankfully they put paper on the table first . We also shared Taste of Athens, the dish was average at best with garlic overpowering it. Unfortunately my wife & I decided this is not a Greek restaurant we would try again.

What a wonderful experience. From beginning to end, we loved it. The lemon rice soup, flaming cheese, seafood skewer (a special), and rice pudding were each flavorful, light, but also comforting. We can’t wait to come back.

Decent place for gyros or lamb burgers. They have decent potato wedges. Indoor/Outdoor seating. Recently I had lamb chops and they were $59 +Tax. Lunch gyros are around $13-$16 on average without any sides.

The first time coming yesterday was an absolutely delightful experience. Delicious food, wonderful customer service and such a pleasant atmosphere. Tried the cold appetizer combo and the stuffed cabbage entree which was divine. Everything was so good we came back today to try the hot appetizer platter and their lentil soup. Once again excellent service and can't wait to try it all. 10/10 do recommend!

Absolutely love it here for authentic Greek food! Sat outside which was perfect and felt just like in European style. The food tastes like it was homemade! I am gluten free but my husband is not and we are both able to find plenty of options here. I had half a chicken plater which amazing! I also recommend the Greek coffee. Service is outstanding! We happened upon this restaurant by chance. The atmosphere is wonderful. There are so many regulars that their wine bottle is on the table and the bartender has started making drinks before they arrive. Staff is extremely friendly (lots of hugging with the regulars) and proud of what they serve. Since it was our first time we ordered the Tour of Athens as our entree and the calamari for an appetizer. Everything was fresh, seasoned amazingly, yet subtle letting the main ingredient still shine. We were stuffed but our waiter, George, convinced us that tonight’s dessert special was amazing. Just picked up 3 lamb chop meals for myself and my kids and OMG! I ordered over the phone and the lady that answered was very helpful.
