Had dinner at the resturant, amazing experience, for our 40th anniversary. Staff were fantastic, food and wine was great, and even got to see Ricky!

I’m writing a review 2.5 years post date because that’s how long I’ve been thinking about this. I also share this story every couples months and everyone always asks why I never wrote a review…so: Easter Sunday 2022 we were having brunch at the restaurant when a medical emergency with a guest occurred and the staff announced the request of a doctor. My significant other and I both responded to the request and helped this man while EMS were called etc. Thankfully, The medical situation went well and we were able to return to our brunch eventually, however this obviously took a significant portion of our day, and was a physically taxing and unsettling experience responding to this request. The oddest part? Not a single comment to us by the staff. No thank you, not a free drink to calm the nerves or bill comped even a small portion or anything for what I definitely consider to be a meal and experience completely taken from us. Just delivered us the whole check and we left so stressed that we needed a drink just from our brunch experience! I have stayed with other Auberge collection and have always found the service and hospitality to be impeccable so I am still perplexed and upset to this day about such an odd experience.

If I could give zero stars, that would be my rating for one of the worst experiences I've had at Auberge. This was my second time dining here, and it will surely be my last as I refuse to spend money at an establishment where I felt my husband and I were treated differently because of our race. My husband and I were in Napa Valley for the 4th of July weekend and had lunch reservations at Auberge on the 5th. We headed over to the hostess stand, where a couple in front of us was being checked in. The hostess was making friendly conversation with them and asked if they had any food allergies. However, when it was our turn, the hostess didn't even make eye contact and just asked for our name before telling us to step aside. My husband and I exchanged puzzled looks. Why did her tone change so suddenly when we walked up? While waiting to be seated, we noticed the same hostess greet the party after us warmly again and inquire about their allergies or food restrictions. This was such a weird and awkward interaction that made us feel excluded and unwelcome right from the start. During our lunch, everyone was seated inside due to the heat. We saw several people walk out to the balcony to take pictures of the beautiful view. After our meal, we decided to do the same. As my husband was opening the door to the balcony, a different staff member blocked us and said they weren't allowing people onto the balcony, directing us to go downstairs for pictures. Confused, I asked why, since there were several other people still on the balcony. She just directed us outside again. We walked away, disbelieving what was happening. The same woman came over again and insisted we go downstairs. By this point, I was frustrated and deeply hurt as it felt like we were the only ones being denied access to the balcony. I asked why we couldn't go there when others were allowed and she had no answer and just stared at us blankly. I then asked if she would tell the other guests to leave the balcony or if the rules only applied to us. She finally agreed and said we could go out on the balcony if we wanted a picture. At this point we went outside to the balcony out of principle, but I was already upset as it seemed we were being discriminated against. Moments after we walked outside, the hostess who had greeted us rudely in the beginning brought another guest outside and encouraged him to take as many pictures as he liked. The only difference between us and the other patrons who were greeted nicely and allowed on the balcony was the color of our skin. This ruined what should have been a pleasant dining experience. With the number of amazing restaurants in Napa that are welcoming and have great food, there is no need to go somewhere you are not welcomed. After we left, I spoke to the manager on the phone. He assured me he would follow up via email or phone, but he never did. This lack of accountability and follow-through is unacceptable, especially at this level of establishment. I hope that by sharing my experience, Auberge will take serious steps to train their staff on diversity and inclusion to ensure that no one else has to endure such treatment.

As a vegan called months in advance to make sure we had choices, I was extremely disappointed. Extravagant 5 course menu where 2 meals barely satisfied a starving palette.... not the place to celebrate a birthday. But to be fair, the service was amazing, and the view was incomparable.

Auberge De Soleil is undoubtedly one of the top three hotels I have ever stayed at worldwide. The level of service provided was exceptional, surpassing all expectations with its personalized and extraordinary attention to detail. The Michelin-rated restaurant is an absolute must-visit, offering an unforgettable culinary experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each meal is a masterpiece in itself. The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop to unwind, reset, and prepare oneself for the outside world.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of our experience. The service is friendly, super responsive, and attentive. Truly every staff person we encountered was warm and kind. The food is delicious; we enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts (the raspberry jam OMG) and wonderful dinners at both the bar and the restaurant. The accomodations are luxurious and amazingly spacious. No detail is overlooked. We also took advantage of the loaner Mercedes, which was a super easy process. Finally, the grounds here are magical with awe-inspiring views and lovely trees/plantings and interesting sculptures. We enjoyed walking the brief trail each morning. Next time I hope to take a yoga class in the pagoda. Thank you to everyone here for a lovely time!

Lovely space we got in for lunch and they have a nice view to the valley

Everything was fantastic. Excellent service with great explanation/description of dishes. We had a couple dietary restrictions in our party (vegetarian, vegan, and seafood/shellfish allergy) and they handled those great. The food, as expected, was excellent, as were the wines. Great suggestions by staff, and very helpful.

Auberge is First Class. Book and enjoy. The “bar” offers food which is a bit ordinary, but the “restaurant” is extraordinary. World class views on the patio of both the bar and restaurant.

We visited the Bar at Auberge du Soleil for early dinner and were happy to find patio seating overlooking the vineyards. It’s a beautiful location at an elevation so you get a bird’s eye view of the wine county. 20/5 for the view, but 3/5 for the food. We got the pomme fritas (4/5), roasted bone marrow (3.5/5), margarita pizza (3/5), and the sea bass (2.5/5). The view almost makes it up for this as it’s truly a one of a kind experience.

The best experience I ever had the food incredibly delicious and the customer service is exceptional..

Beautiful setting and grounds. Great restaurant. The service is sometimes a bit off, e.g. the time they twice referred to me and my husband (two men) as “Mr and Mrs” despite having been married there. The rooms are nice but feel a bit tropical which is a bit out of place for the locale.

Exquisite visit to Napa - unmatched in the region

An exceptional experience without oustanding romantic views and attentive service. Feels like you're spoiled royalty when staying here. The food was visually impressive yet lacked substance for the pallette. Service was on par. The rooms albeit very clean could use some updated touches. Overall....the stay was a 4.8 out of 5.

The service here is top notch but the view for lunch is breath taking. If you can score a lunch reservation be ready for incredible photos, food, and views.

Unfortunately, we ended up pretty disappointed. We had the tasting menu. The service was great, with attentive and friendly staff, but that's where the positives ended. The plates here lacked flavour. It felt like something was missing in almost every dish, even the dessert, which is definitely not what you'd expect in this type of high end restaurant. Without a doubt, it was a waste of money!

Beautiful view. Gnocchi and duck hash were awesome. Pork belly and fish were good. Service was on point. Great experience.

Breath taking view and amazing friendly stuff Food is mind blowing

Celebrated my birthday here with my family and we had an amazing experience. Everything that we ordered was delicious and the service was on point. We’ll definitely be back for a special occasion in the future.

If you’re traveling to Napa, this is a great location. Here are a few pros and cons from my experience. The mattress seemed old, it felt flat and was not comfortable. The blankets and pillows felt like goose down, it was “pokey” while I slept. The windows don’t have black out curtains, only the sliding glass door does. So if you want to sleep in, you can’t because natural light will shine in. And finally, I ordered a burger, but the bottom of the bun was soggy because the burger juice was absorbed into it. For the pros, whoever makes the vanilla lattes there is a wizard. They are delicious. The customer service is exceptional. You get a free bottle of wine in your room during your stay. Their home brewed cinnamon wine is delicious. They delivered me free cookies on my first night which was awesome. The view from their restaurant is insanely amazing. I would recommend this place, it’s not perfect, but it wouldn’t hinder me from coming back. I would just change my bedspread (my own fault for not requesting a change) Overall incredible stay.

Unreal property, views, and guest services. Staff were incredible.

Thanksgiving fixed price menu at the restaurant. While most of the courses were terrific, I was disappointed in the soup which was advertised as lobster bisque. What we were served was pumpkin bisque with a small piece of lobster on the top. A totally different flavor profile and two of our party sent it back. The server Suzy seemed to be irritated when we pointed out that pumpkin wasn't even listed in the ingredients. Like somehow we should have known it wasn't lobster but pumpkin. We were also dining with a family member who has been diagnosed with celiac disease and must avoid gluten. And yet, two courses containing gluten were placed in front of him. We made the reservation stating gluten intolerant guest and confirmed it on Monday and again at arrival. When we challenged the serving staff they promptly took the course away but then the resulting delay while the correct dessert was prepared and eventually served was unnecessary and frankly not what I expected from a Michelin starred venue. When I asked what varietal and vintage the Somelier was pairing with the Turkey Suzy replied "a Pinot". Duh. But apparently since we were pairing wines to the entrees by the glass due to each guest ordering something different and not by the bottle we apparently weren't worth the Somelier's time. She did offer me a selection of four different pinots but had very little to offer me about the subtle differences between them. The location is breathtaking. We were able to sit outside in the terrace and were treated to a spectacular sunset. The starter courses were delicious. The entrees were very well prepared and served warm. Just not what I expected for a $1200.00 meal.

We visited for lunch between winery tours. Stunning views and as expected, a nice selection of wine. Be sure to make a reservation well ahead of time. They get busy. Enjoy! 🤙🏻

You go here for the pleasant view and deck overlooking Napa valley. Food is ok and enjoyable enough, but not amazing. Very pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the experience and not the food. Most people just get appetizers and a drink.

We only went here for dinner. Very lavish location. Great views. Michael our waiter was so calming and personable. We brought wine and the corkage was free due to us ordering a bottle for appetizers. The 3 course meal was quite filling and really well done. I would encourage those who love high quality and high class to visit here

Amazing views, food and service!

We stopped in for Brunch during a day of wine tastings at nearby vineyards. The brunch selections are pre-fixed, but there are options for just about everyone! Unfortunately, we couldn’t sit out on the terrace due to rain, but the view over the valley was still spectacular. The auberge Rosé was fantastic. The Bloody Mary was flavorful, however a bit too spicy to fully enjoy. The service and recommendations were spot on though! We started with Corn soup (with blue crab) which was delicious and almost creamy even though it didn’t seem cream-based. Our mains were the short rib and the rabbit. The tender short rib with Cabernet reduction was simple and delicious. To our surprise, the basil crusted rabbit was phenomenal! Lastly, we had the strawberry Mille Feuille and the Peach Panna Cotta, which were both stunning in presentation and scrumptious! Highly recommend for the food and the views!

We went for lunch and it was a little disappointing. The staff is very friendly and the place has beautiful views but for the price we paid we expected better quality. Salt was missing in their dishes (tuna tartar and calamari), the fries were a little burnt...the cocktails were good. We expect higher standards in a high-class hotel

This was a stop during a wine tour arranged by the company. Wonderful lunch, very friendly staff. Wine to match my lunch and was offered a sample which totally matched the lunch. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable, wonderful views, food was beyond my expectations. Definitely recommended

We love to stop in at the bar whenever we’re in town. Friendly valet, front desk, and bartender. The bar has been remodeled and it’s gorgeous yet still intimate.

This review is for the restaurant, not hotel. As always, a pleasure and delightful splurge to dine here. Hamachi crudo was tasty (albeit small), gazpacho w/blue crab was perfect on a warm day, and the campanelle w/corn & squash was so good my table partner wants to try to hack the recipe. The view steals the show here, and wait staff (and lunch crowd today) politely taciturn.

Beautiful scenery on the balcony overlooking rolling hills of grapevines. We ordered the three course meal. The baked bread basket is served with sides of butter and a silky lemon curd. The corn soup was garnashed with a small pile of fresh corn, pesto, and cream that orchestrated a fabulous fusion on my pallet. The prawn salad consisted of grilled prawns resting on butter lettuce and topped with mandarin segments, avocado, and parsley tossed in a light vinegarette The lobster omelet was filled with a rich creamy based mixture with chunks of lobster in it. The duck hash with poached eggs was very delicious, served with cubed potatoes, peppers, and onions topped with poached eggs. The peanut butter chocolate mousse cake has a creamy, crunchy peanut filling with chocolate on the outside. The sorbet trio was absolutely refreshing. The flavors were strawberry, Blackberry, and apricot. The house champagne paired very nicely with all three components of the meal.

Calming cozy view in the sunset, amazing food, perfect wine for every dish, high level service. I totally enjoyed been here in my birthday. Absolutely recommend to try testing menu with wine. They select the wine that goes perfectly with each new dish, therefore your receptors will be delighted.

The environment is good, the parking lot has valet service, and there is a private parking lot in front of the guest room, which is the best service. There is no need to say that you can use the hotel cart for detailed movement! More than 100 pieces of art in nature ~ ✨ Anyway, it's amazing. There is also a spa, a yoga house, a gym, a pool, and a trail course. There is a bathtub, free drinks & snacks, and original wine (pretty cool), and the balcony is chic and you can't see other rooms👍I ate at a Michelin restaurant for two days, but the person in charge on Friday Excellent and great pairing & explanation of service! Compared to that, it's bad to compare the Sunday's charge, but it was sadly "poor quality". The food and service are a little average, but there is no big difference in price and pairing, so I would definitely stay here again next time. Sweet view , which is its number one selling point. However the food is top notch. The bar and bistro area has a wonderful assortment of dishes that will put a smile on your face. You'll return again and again go here.

Stopped by to east at the restaurant. Can't describe how amazing the food is and how great the service was! You will pay for the experience but I'd say it's worth it for that special celebration.

Auberge was an excellent choice for our trip to Napa, every small detail is planned throughly by the staff. From the spa experience to the dinner in the restaurant, my wife and I enjoyed every moment of our time at the Auberge. Huge kudos to the staff who made our anniversary trip very special!

I did not stay as I was setting up a conference. I did eat at the restaurant, which was delicious. Also the entire staff are star performers, welcoming and very professional.

Stopped here for lunch and it was a great experience! Complimentary valet when you pull in. The service was definitely deserving of their Michelin star. The waiters explained all of our meals to us and it was so delicious. All with a beautiful view nonetheless. Highly recommend the soup for lunch and the short rib. Both awesome dishes and you leave feeling quite full.

All I can say is that Auberge has thought of everything! There are really so many wonderful things to note. From the fully stocked included mini fridge, the amazing breakfasts, the spa and most importantly the costumer service of every single team member!! Absolutely one of the best resorts we have ever stayed in. They did not miss any details and actually exceeded our expectations.

Dining in the terrace. Each drink was perfect- Martini, French 75 and Moscow Mule. The herb and onion dip was light and divine. Ginger-carrot soup amazing. Views galore. Everything you try is perfectly prepared, not over indulgent or heavy - just delightfully beautiful.

The Spa is amazing -great massage and the 3 pools with the valley views were so relaxing! And the grounds are beautiful! If you’re looking to getaway from all the noise, this is the place to book! We can’t wait to book again!

I have been to this place due to weddings few times. Closer than the other luxury Napa resorts and with an amazing new take on lodging in Napa. Stunning rooms! Amazing suites and every type of amenity you can imagine. Lots of greens. Makes my eyes relaxed when I visit here with open view.

This is my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The service is amazing. The rooms are beautiful with incredible balconies. We were fortunate enough to have a balcony with tub and it was very peaceful and tranquil. Their restaurant is great and very accommodating for vegetarians. The surrounding area is so peaceful. The grounds are well maintained with a tennis court, gym, and spa.

An incredible experience. 1st class throughout. Really want to give a shout out to Sharon at the front desk as she's a rock star. She handled every request beautifully. She single-handley made this trip one of the best my wife and I have ever been on.

What a fantastic evening! we sat on the deck at the end of April, and enjoyed a beautiful evening with an incredible meal. All of the courses were exquisitely prepared. Look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic experience! Don't let the idea of "small portions " fool you, we couldn't even finish our last plates! Food is so flavorful and well presented, and the staff was great, they explained every dish on the table! We had a party of four, so we were able to try many different dishes. They were all delicious! Pictured is the Chilled Maine Lobster. We also had drinks that were amazing!

I ended up with a hair in my salmon and a fly in my beer. Great view, good prices. Very slow though, took 2 and a half hours for my fiancee and I to have a meal.
