When I saw how small it was, I almost went somewhere else. I'm so glad I didn't! The food was fast, HOT, FRESH and delicious! Staff was super welcoming and friendly. The bathroom was small, but clean. I did not notice a baby changing station, but this would not be an ideal restaurant for young families. There are only about 16-20 seats - all bar height around the only table in the place, which is the bar rail. We went for lunch during the week, so it was not at all busy. I can't imagine that is the case on the weekend considering how impressed I was with the place overall. Would def recommend and go back!

This place is incredible. 18 seats around a U shaped counter. No tables. Food is incredible. Huge guy next to me couldn't finish his meat lovers omelette. I am dreaming of becoming a regular.

This was our first time here and it definitely will not be our last. When we first pulled in we were surprised by the size of the tiny restaurant, but don't let that fool you. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, the people our friendly, from the servers to the cooks and the native locals who greeted us with smiles, laughs and conversation. The food was amazing. I had the breakfast burrito and it was huge, filled with yummy deliciousness. I savored every bite of the fresh green peppers, mushrooms and onions. Very flavorful. If you are passing through Wayland, give it a try. You won't regret it. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A co-worker and I are working in the area and googled breakfast places. The Auction House Cafe is very tiny and easy to miss. Despite its small size, the portions were huge and absolutely wonderful. The staff and other patrons were super friendly. If you don't mind not sitting at a table, this is a fabulous place.

From the outside, for such a small place, you'd never expect such a big impression! My first time here, meeting with a group of friends...and so glad we did! No tables in this small space, all diner counter style seating. But BIG plates of food with BIG flavor! Fantastic home style cooked breakfast..I recommend the meat lovers omelette! Quick service and super friendly servers...and a gracious owner! This place has "community family" vibes, as it only seats maybe 15-18 people, and youre all quite close you can't help but comment and chat with others around you. Dont pass this place up! If you're on an adventure and looking for some great food in a great hometown atmosphere...this is it!!

We’ve come here twice for my birthday breakfast now. Both times were really good experiences, food was obviously amazing, I’ve only had breakfast items but I can’t wait to try their burgers and other things. Their homemade raisin toast got my drooling too! Love their real authentic diner style, everyone working here was really really friendly too, as if they weren’t here to work but just to cook some good food to feed everybody and make them happy!

I just happened to stop in one Saturday afternoon. The place was off the beaten path and I only found it by doing a Google search. They serve something for everyone. I stumbled upon this place while searching for breakfast alternatives to Big Boy in the Wayland area. The enthusiasm and quality of the other online reviews of this place definitely caught my attention, and now having been here twice - with plans to make this a regular meeting place - I am hooked.
