Blizzard was good and good service I could have gotten a bucket of chicken because it was a KFC and A&W but I didn't good service yeah.

Forgot a few sauces but food was great.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Got it to go so didn't realize they left the bacon off. Burger was good without the bacon but it's pretty frustrating to pay for something and not get it. Of course I was 5 miles down the road before I realized it.

We stop here a lot, and it’s always the best experience with the best food, by far the best fast food restaurant i’ve ever been to.

Prices are dropping, fresh food was served.

Was having to stay in a hotel for 2 days. Went to this drive through the first night and ordered a chicken sandwich. It was hard and dry it was not even chewable. Thought maybe they just had a bad night and went the next day and ordered a hamburger and the same thing, an extremely hard, fry patty. Worst food I ever had.

Pretty consistent with the Fast Food space. Or the A&W of yesteryear, but adequate. Food isn’t remarkable. Service this time was less than par. Had to remind the window help of food items that were missing. Even have them a tip…not sure why. It’s a A&W/KFC and I understand kids need jobs when they’re out of school. Attitude and attention to detail would go a long way here, though.

The food was not fresh. The Drink not full and it had hardly any ice. I got sick from it not long after … will not go here again.

My husband got food poisoning from this location! Would no recommend you stop and eat here. Make the trek to Butte. Very unhappy.

Paid for a 4 piece tender combo. Got 3 tenders the size of my finger. Not worth the the money. If I knew they was that damn small I wouldn’t have wasted my money.

Whitehall A&W is far SUPERIOR to any other I've been to in Montana. The food is delicious, the ice cream is also very good!

Bathrooms were so disgusting. I noticed lack of janitors everywhere in Montana. probably they offer cheap wages that's why no one wants to work.

LOVE this stop. Me and my boys have to stop in every Saturday possible for lunch. The staff is so friendly and really working hard. Great spot to grab a float and some grub. Highly recommend.

You should walk around the counter a cook it yourself. It would be faster.

Never experienced a KFC/A&W together. Could have been cleaner, looked a little rundown. And the order/cashier was not real friendly. Food was okay, Rooter fantastic.

This is also a KFC, FYI. The workers here were very friendly, clean, and accurate. It was nice to ACTUALLY GET SERVICE!! Our orders were complex and not one error, neatly put together, hot, and good. I forgot what it was like to have someone in fast food treat you and your order with care.

This is by far the best A&W restaurant I have ever been to! The staff is great! Service is awesome, great food! Clean bathroom also, thank you! We will continue to stop by!

Food wasn't bad but the meals were incomplete not having everything that was listed. Almost all the tables except the one we sat at were not yet clean, the bathrooms we're not very good and all this for the pretty slow night. Also spare chairs were just stacked up haphazard at 1 into the restaurant and kind of taped-together. Looked rather sloppy. Don't plan to return.

First time ever at an A&W restaurant. Corn nuggets were over cooked but the seasoned fries were great. Employees kind of acted like they hated their lives but were friendly nonetheless. Treat your hard workers like they deserve!

We went to the A&W, KFC in Whitehall on Saturday in the evening. They were super busy, the lobby closed at that time but the drive thru was open. We were on foot at the drive thru but still got great service. The food was good, the fries were fantastic and the service was amazing despite being nearly overwhelmed with alot of people coming thru. Definitely will reccomend this place.

Great service! The lobby was closed & we couldn't fit our camper through drive-up, SO they took our order over the phone and got us taken care of quickly. Everyone was so friendly, our order was correct & food was delicious. Thanks A&W crew!

They shorted a third of my order, and I live 75 miles away, but they did credit half of my miner back..

Stop by regularly for cheese curds and the restaurant KFC combo offers options for my picky eaters. When it's just me I order a rootbeer twist cone. Hehe

I have either bad luck, I don’t know??? I went to A&W to get a blizzard, terrible, it would pour out instead of being so stiff you could tip it upside down 🤷‍♀️ Not only that but, where was the oreo’s in it?????

This Kentucky Fried Chicken in Whitehall is the very best in ALL of Montana. The chicken is fully cooked and tastes really good.

I love this place so that the Papa Burgers Nick jr. Burgers and Mama Burgers all the Burgers and Fries and just can't forget what they're good for that's right the root beer floats.

Dining room was closed so our bathroom need was postponed. Our orders from drive thru were promptly, and accurately, delivered at the window.

The person who took our order was not very friendly and did not appear to like her job very well. When the food arrived it was OK and cheese on burgers was still cold. The other people in the restaurant were all nice and smiling. We will try again some day.

The food was good and what you would expect. Our server went out of her way to find us some Mayo to go. The root beer float was amazing.

Order from the 2 for $5 menu. The double cheeseburgers are yummy. And get some onion rings from the 2 for $5 menu too. Always hot, crispy, fresh. Good value

We stopped by there today for lunch. The greeter was accommodating to my special food order. The food came quickly and was cooked per my request. The main entrance was clean and easy to get around. The women's bathroom needed to be cleaned a bit better, the floor was super sticky.

Bummer. They were out of chicken pieces.

The service is awesome. My order is always correctly processed. Tried the chicken and waffles, not to bad.

Food was fresh. The customer service lady (I wish I could remember her name) that took our order was fantastic. We were late and tired and she was peppy and patient!

Great stop for a quick snack! Got the chicken tenders and fries for two...wow hot and fresh and good for three people. Plus I always get a Rootbear Float when Its warm outside.

Since I wrote this I spoke with the manager. She was trying to rectify the problem and offered me a free meal with shake. Not all the servers are as friendly as she is. Previous post....To the manager.... Takeout service is absurdly slow. I ordered #6 meal, cheeseburger, fries with a chocolate shake, NO TOPPINGS/ CLOSED COVER. I was charged $7.24 Three times I said CLOSED COVER on the shake. They bring an open top. I questioned why no fries and if I was being charged properly. The supervisor said 'yes'. handed me my meal bag, with no fries. Told me I did not ask for fries (I ASKED FOR THE MEAL). Fries would be extra. I said give my my shake and let me out of here. Later, I open the sandwich wrapper and find CHICKEN. Just lousy service at midday. You should be ashamed of this. As you do not enclose a receipt there is no way for me to go back and complain.

What can you say about A&W? YUM!! It's a vanishing institution. The burgers are great, the fries are crispy, and the root beer floats are heavenly. It breaks our hearts that they are getting harder and harder to find. And that Corporate KFC is slowly swallowing them up and making them disappear forever. I'm sorry, but I don't want to set my taste-buds on an A&W burger and fries with a root beer float and get hit in the face with the stink of fried chicken when I walk in the door. It totally ruins the A&W experience. I refuse to go into a KFC/ A&W combo restaurant to get A&W food. The stink ruins my appetite for good old fashioned food. So when All of the A&W's get swallowed up by KFC, A&W food will be dead to me, I will never eat there again.

I got a $5 fill-up - original fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes and biscuit. It was all delicious. Service was good. The location was great - off I-90.

Clean place, but messed up on my order and were not quick to correct it.

A&W is a fantastic place for a treat on a hot day. We had two large rootbeer floats and they were great.

The A&W is great but the KFC is awful.

After going the wrong way on 90 for a couple of miles, we exited the highway in Whitehall to turn around, and decided this was likely our last chance for an hour or so to get some dinner before driving to Helena. Chicken sounded good, so our family of three each got popcorn chicken. What else is there to say...it was just like KFC at home. It filled us up, and got us on our way quickly.
