Diamond in the rough is a quite the expression for this little hidden gem of a place. They're clean, quick and the sandwiches are really good. I was on my way to find lunch o e day in the Tampa Bay area and I stopped out of curiosity to see if it was worth a shot and to my surprise they delivered a very nice Philly Cheese-steak and the popular cuban as well I give it a 5 outta 5 because even tho it may not look like much....this place delivers a good product.

This store is amazing the sandwichs are sooo good and I recommend you go here if you are near by.

My husband would always bring home a steak sandwich from there. Consistent with it being cooked right. The sandwich always thick and juicy. For sure you will enjoy every bite. I also enjoy having a Colada and coke in the morning while watching the sun rise in their seating area outside and its shaded so i can be covered from the sun while enjoying my drinks. Everyone is always so nice. A pleasant place to go and definitely not over priced. Wonderful

Little hole in the wall place in the middle of US 41 but the Egg, Ham and Cheese Empanadillas are Da Bomb!

I would give a zero if that was possible. Just a heads up, you might want to let people know that you only take cash when they order food from you over the phone. Then to waste the time to drive here to pick up the food and unfortunately you haven't made it to the millennia yet and only take cash. Which I guess really isn't a problem but maybe have a cash app or Zell or one of the other multitude of money apps to be able to receive money to make the experience here more pleasurable. This is a really good sandwich shop. It is really small, and can get very crowded inside. They only take cash, but they do have an ATM inside that costs you $2 to take your money out. The food was really good, they don’t have anywhere to eat, so once you get your food, you either take it to go, or eat in your vehicle. They have many sandwiches to choose from and i bought the pastrami which was really good.

Awesome sandwiches. I will be sure to stop by the next time I am in Ruskin. I had the bacon egg and cheese Cuban breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Also the staff was really cool and kind. I highly recommend this place if you are driving down 41 and happen to pass it.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! this sandwich shop has got to be the best one in Florida the burger and Cuban sandwich are the bomb.com always fresh and the burgers are top quality and also a nice cold Pepsi completes the meal, the breakfast egg and bacon sandwich is also top notch, been eating here for at least 2 years and will continue to eat.

Love this place. Way better than stopping at a fast food joint, they are still pretty fast.... doesn't have a dining area but it does have a little bit of outdoor seating. All the food is good, Cuban sandwiches are popular but they make a mean bacon cheeseburger. The french fries are pretty good too (similar to Mc D's)!

OMG the food is the "Bomb" meaning so good. Cubans, burgers, pork and great tasting rice to die for. Azucar Sandwich Shop truly is an outskirt jewel of Tampa I recommend everyone eat here if you haven't tried there food your not living just saying lol. What are you waiting for get there now!

my sandwich was cold and my coffee had to be reheated. I called to place my order and told them what time I would be there. when I arrived my food had been sitting there and my coffee cup was cool to the touch. When I ate my sandwich parts of the egg was icy cold. I went 20 minutes out of my way to go there, I won't do that again.

Went in here to try the Cuban... I was very very happy with it... my boss recommended me to get it fully pressed and I'm sure glad I did it was delicious I also tried the iron beer soft drink I wish I could get this back home in Ohio it tastes like a cross between dr. Pepper and root beer... very very tasty, I will be going back!!
