I had the jerk chicken pasta and very little chicken and asparagus, very disappointed.

Food was phenomenal, service was great, and the drinks we sooo good. The snapper was cooked to perfection!

The detail lamps on the tables are cool, when they are properly cleaned and don't have a measurable layer of dust on them.

Service was little lower class than used to be .... my stake knife was inside the mash potato please make sure that silverware is on the table before meal comes thanks for the rest ....

Had a great dinner with desert. Their jerk entrees hit the spot with the live steel drum music in the background. Our waiter, Nick, was good helping us out with the menu selections. Really gave you that away from home feeling.

The appetizers were great, never miss. I generally go with the jerked chicken pasta but tried something else today. Having something that didn't have the same level of flavor as the apps and pasta was a let down.

Great customer service, I ordered lunch to go. They made sure to have everything in the bag without me asking. I ordered the coconut shrimp tacos and the salad it was very yummy. However, a bit sweet, the aiolo sauce was good with it but needed a little more spice to cut the sweetness. The salad was fresh I'll be back👍🏽

Bahama Breeze hands down has the best frozen drinks in Michigan. If you haven’t gotten their ultimate Piña Colada, run to get one or more. It’s basically a Miami vice. Our entrees exceeded our expectations too, we got the filet and red snapper. Both served so beautifully and delicious.

Fresh hot food and good service. Just wish they had a larger selection of seafood available.

My 24 yr old daughter picked this place because the one by us (NE Ohio) closed down and she wanted to try them out. The best item I ordered was the Virgin Pineapple drink! It was absolutely delicious. My daughter didn't really care for her food, and mine was super salty (seafood paella) ... the appetizers were good though. The overall vibe to the restaurant inside was nice, the staff were super nice and attentive. Our waitress was Kayla and she was super nice and helpful, there were 5 of us plus 2 kids and she was great!! The worst thing (other than the food experience) was that there was an odd smell that was very noticeable when we came in through the main doors, and everything had a stickiness to it. I think they need to change whatever they clean with. Everything had a dirty water odor. I told my daughter that we need to start the practice of leaving a restaurant when it has a dirty smell to it when you walk in, it's been our experience when a restaurant has a bad odor that it ends up not being the best place to eat.

Kids had extreme upset stomachs after eating. Server was slow and forgot to put in one of our meals. Last meal was served after we were done eating

Talia was my server and she was fantastic! She was incredibly friendly and had great attention to detail. Her timing for checking on me and refilling my drinks was impeccable. 10/10 the best server I've ever had at this restaurant.

The food was an interesting mix of goodness! Good change from the regular! Had a good time with family and grandchild we were a little loud and a little wired and no one complained. Good time!

This Bahama Breeze location is fantastic. I've been here a few times over the last 9 years, and it's always good. Dinner is a little on the pricey side ($20-$30 per plate), but the lunch combos are very affordable ($8.99-$14). This visit, I had the coconut shrimp and Cuban black bean soup. Oh my, it all was really tasty! My husband had Mahi tacos and a salad, and that was good too. Service was great (I'm blanking on the server's name, but he was friendly and nice. This was on 06/14/24 @ 1pm), food was great, the price was great. This is now a favorite lunch date location for us.

Came into Troy's location of Bahama Breeze and as usual it was a hit! Marissa was our server and her section had a few large tables. She was still very attentive and engaging, even though it was a Saturday night. The food was hot and delicious and the drinks were absolutely superb. We had the crab dip and coconut shrimp for appetizers. Then the red snapper (phenomenal) and the buttermilk fried chicken (excellent) came out in good timing with beautiful presentations. Good job guys!

Took my granddaughter for her birthday the other day. The food and service was great.

I really love this place the food is always soooo good . If you haven't tried you should never had bad service .

This was my first time dining here again in many years, and unfortunately we weren't impressed. The service was excellent- but we didn't love the food. This place used to have great food. It just wasn't prepared that well. Also, there was dust on the tables and seats that came from the insulation or something on the ceiling. We switched tables and the dust was there too.

We ordered carry out for Mothers Day and after they texted and told us it was ready and another hour after that we finally got it home . It was ice cold and not as ordered. Items were missing. I sent an email to the company and told them how unsatisfied we were and they immediately sent a gift card to use at any of their restaurants. We again ordered from Bahama Breeze and everything was excellent. I suppose they were just totally bogged down on Mothers Day but it was a definite plus that they took care of us after the fact.

Food took more than an hour after the order, steak was undercooked and a terrible cut, they ran out of 2 of the 4 deserts and left us waiting for 30 minutes after taking desert orders to let us know.

There isn't anyone here ever that I've seen but the food is good and the service is good.

Food was great. House salad in the picture, it was delicious. I got the chicken cilantro crema dinner. However, I did have to ask for lemon for my water 3 separate times... And had to ask for my side salad before my entree came. Not sure if it didn't get entered or what, but I had just finished it when the entree arrived so that worked out. My friends' entree was never put in so she had to watch all of us eating while she waited for hers, they should've discounted her meal imo... Other than that the service was good. Will still come back. Hopefully next time will have no issues.

Their food is delicious,but service was terrible. Waitress spilled sauce on my daughter and when we told her, she didn't apologize or acknowledge it. Just keep on asking for money for bill.

Restaurant was overbooked and under manage. Wait time to get in was over an hour with a reservation. Dinner was overcooked and was under heat lights too long and was dried out. Very disappointed and ruined a mother's day outing.

The way they handled Mother’s Day, I’ll never return. We had reservations at 7:30pm. You’d think a reservation means something right? Nope. We got there early, was told an hour, we said okay. After waiting an hour, we were told we can be seated but our food would take 2 hours to come out. Staff were VERY VERY rude and just didn’t care about the situation. They ruined our Mother’s Day and we decided to leave and went somewhere that was busier but still accommodated us. I enjoyed coming here, but i won’t bother coming back or recommending this place.

Excellent all service food and place

Had a very high hope as this was my first visit. But, the service was really below par. Being a mother's day we had two families come in for lunch. We had pre booked (reserved) a slot for 6 for 12.30 and we were there by then. It took them nearly 1 and a quarter hour to get us seated and that too when we had one in our party on a wheelchair. There were several tables visibly vacant but even after repeatedly asking the waiter, we were given all kinds of excuses and were made to believe that we are doing something wrong! Finally when we were able to seat, the server was not very attentive as one of the side dish was delivered way after the person had finished eating his main entree and also after reminding! Repeated reminders to serve water were not attended to and water was served at random with one glass then couple of glasses, etc. While one person specifically asked for water with no ice, it was never served. The dishes were also not very genuine. Specifically, one of us ordered the Paella and it was served with various ingredients separately placed on the plate. That is not how this dish is prepared! The battered shrimp appetizers were clearly tasting as they were fried in oil that had been used way past its capacity. All in all, not an experience that in any way makes us want to visit again.

We came here for Mother’s Day, had a horrible experience! We waited 1 hour to be seated although we had reservations! We got seated and waited an extra 2 hours for the food and it was still not out. We ended up leaving because the waitress told us it’s going to be an extra hour! This was so very frustrating and unprofessional!

I would love to remark on the food but after 3 hours WITH a reservation and constantly being told by the manager "our food was coming" with my daughter in tears from being so hungry we had to leave. Now I understand that places get busy on Mother's Day, but here's the kicker, apparently service had BEEN like that all day. And they were still seating people. And they acted like the customers were supposed to be fine with NOT being warned it would be 3+ hour wait. THAT'S what's wild. Mother's Day is a BIG deal. We could have been warned and given the option to salvage our Mothers Day and eat elsewhere, but these people were either so greedy or spineless they couldn't be transparent enough to let the customers know. As a matter of fact, after sitting in our booth for almost two hours after having to wait to be seated for an hour, they were STILL leading unsuspecting families in to be sat! And the servers weren't supposed to let them know, so WE did, because I'm nearly 40 years old and I have NEVER been to such a poorly managed restaurant in my LIFE. If I were management there I'd be losing sleep tonight knowing how many people holiday I ruined just being incompetent...unreal. We were warning people on the way out the door and people were shocked and angry that they were hearing it from another customer instead of where they SHOULD have been hearing it...MANAGEMENT. Supposed to have a nice meal for dinner and ended up having to get fast food on the way home, Happy Mothers Day to me. The table next to us was there 30 minutes before we were without ANY food on the table either, right before we left the mom at that table got loud and yelled "WHERE IS OUR FOOOOD!" and nobody side-eyed her at ALL because she was in her full right to be as loud and angry as she was, we ALL were. This was so outrageous I'm filing an actual complaint with corporate, something I've never had to do to a company before.

Rare for me to write bad reviews, but my family and I’s experience was pretty terrible. I understand it’s Mother’s Day and it can be overwhelming when business is super busy but to have reservations at 6:30 and be on time but have to wait an hour to be seated and wait another 2 hours to eat is ridiculous. They kept seating people who were just walk in’s as well which made it impossible to seat all the people who already had reservations. We got there at 6:30 and didn’t leave the resturaunt until 10 pm. We almost got up and left because of how long the food was taking. Once we got the food it was also cold, and we just felt like they kept forgetting about us. All in all, while it’s understandable that some days and holidays it can be busier than usual and very hard to control; it shouldn’t have been this bad. Never in my life have I experienced this. I gave 2 stars only because the drinks were great. Service was terrible. I hope they do better in the future.

This is a lovely place to eat with great food and amazing staff. They were very patient dealing with my stupid debit card that would not work. But I really REALLY need to thank them for putting my soup in a double container (don't worry! I recycle!). On the way home, I had to stop suddenly when a Darwin Award nominee on a motorcycle cut me off and my food bag went flying. I was sure my soup was done for and I'd be cleaning up seafood soup leftovers from my car floor but imagine my surprise when I looked in the bag and everything was intact and ready to eat, wrapped up all nicely in double plastic. So, thanks everyone! They don't pay you enough.

In absolute terms the food was mediocre. Relative to the price it was bad. Diet Coke tasted off, they went to refill from a different fountain and it still tasted off. They definitely don’t change the syrup often enough. The service was pretty bad.

Great Key Lime pie❣️😍 It's the BEST❣️❣️❣️ I just stopped by to pick some up, so we could enjoy later at home. I've never had any that compares! The crust is amazingly rich (I usually don't eat crust, but this stands alone!) The pie is a generous portion, including meringue & topped with 2 sauces! (Rasberry & Mango) If you're to full for desert when you finish your meal, be sure to take one of these home! It's enough to share!! 😀

I had lunch at the Big Beaver location. The restaurant theme was awesome. Very beautiful atmosphere and the restaurant was spotless. The red snapper I ordered was the best I ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly, the presentation and the flavors were amazing. The fish was very fresh and flavorful. The staff came by the table every ten minutes to see if I needed anything. I can't remember the last time I had service that good. The staff was very friendly and professional. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. It really was a great experience!!! Great job !!!

This was our first visit to Bahama Breeze and we came for lunch. We found the atmosphere refreshing and friendly. The service was great. Our waitress was informative of the menu and able to recommend and discuss the different dishes. The food we ordered was delicious, and somehow felt slightly less corporate than most chain restaurants these days. So that was pleasant. The restaurant felt clean and well kept. I was disappointed when visiting the men's restroom. Hence, 4, rather than 5 stars. The men's restroom was flooded and felt neglected. Had to pull the heels of my jeans up to avoid getting wet. My wife said the women's restroom felt clean, but she did note the floor felt sticky. We would definitely visit again and would recommend it to anyone else. The restroom issue could have been just a current issue they were working through. Otherwise, it was a great visit.

My first experience and I enjoyed the aesthetic. We were seated in the back with the fireplace it was a nice vibe and made things cozy. We were able to watch the UMichigan game which made the guys happy. The drinks were really good and not expensive. The service was polite, not crowding and informative. The food takes a bit, but we had appetizers and were watching the game so we didn’t notice. I chose the Caribbean Red Snapper which was cooked well. I recommend stopping by for a nice vibe, meal, and for drinks. Will be back

I took my family for dinner and the food was excellent but my son-in-law wouldn't know due to the waiter not putting his order in. Not even a "I can take that off your bill" or maybe a voucher for something on our next visit..... In short....... Only do takeout.

The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered a to go and they did not have the chicken with the salad and I went back to get a remade of the salad with chicken and it’s absolutely amazing but I will say the cooks truly need to slow down and ensure quality service for guest. Also I got like 6 pieces of chicken? I would hope they would add more to that as that is not even a full chicken breast. I do enjoy the meal but let’s get the service in the back to ensure quality results!

Nice fireplace area seating, food was ok, not great

Been here many times. I love their 1/2 off appetizers for Happy Hour... I always get a couple firecracker shrimp. Only suggestion is.. they need to always serve their beer in a frosted mug, I shouldn't have to ask for it especially if they know that their draft beer is "having issues" Otherwise, a great place to eat.

First time here, the food was great! Good portions and Crystal was our server she is the reason I’ll be back! She was amazing and offered tasty entrees.

Kept getting a Mango (my drink was orange colored )in my “Pina Colada” when I ordered a Pina Colada—waitress tells me they changed the recipe and all Pina Coladas now have mango WTH?!? Um ok why is Pina Colada on the menu? Made no sense just silliness & stupidity.

Great place to go food is great drinks are great they make your food as you want it like I don't like me shrimp deep fried so they grilled it for me for example waitress was awesome our bill was like 50 bucks and we left her like a 30 dollar tip

They got us again. Every few months we forget how bad our past experiences were, and order again. 65 dollars for the blandest pasta I've ever had. My calypso lobster and shrimp pasta had zero flavor and zero lobster, not even a shred of lobster. The jerk pasta was so bad that we didn't eat it. The firecracker shrimp was cold and soggy. The side house salad was unfortunately the best part of the meal. We will not be returning. I'm not sure who's pasta sucks more, bahama breeze or olive garden. Do not waste your money. I'd recommend noodles & company before this disgrace of a place.

Food and drinks were good. The timing to receive everything was dreadful. Arrived 6:30 PM, our first beverage did not arrive until 7:00 and our dinner meals did not come until 8:10 PM that were ordered around 7:15.

Christine, our server was absolutely amazing. Great personality. I ordered the Applewood bacon cheese burger. It was cooked perfectly (medium). Very rarely do i order a burger, and they get the temp correct. Usually, it is overcooked, but this burger was perfect. Yes its just a burger, but when they pay that much attention to detail, it tells me a lot about a place. My wife had the lobster & shrimp linguine, and it too was very good. So, to the cooks yesterday, great job, i know you always hear about it when something isn't done right, well, you guys did great! Bahama Breeze doesn't disappoint.

Food was Dry, and over price. Fire cracker shrimp & Red Snapper, dry and no taste, I wanted Caribbean taste.

The timing was okay. I arrived first & was sat down where the fire pit was. My guest then arrived & was going to be sat somewhere else until I texted them. The waitress was completely off. Not sure if it was time to leave. But, she was just not warm & inviting. Everything was a rush for her. Then without asking she gave us three separate checks. I always love coming to Bahama Breeze but my experience was not great this time.

I had Jerk Chicken Pasta, full order $20.49, which was very good , but there was hardly any chicken. Also, Pineapple Empanada, $8.99, but did not enjoy it

Went here for my adult daughters birthday. The food was awesome, the service not so much. The waitress was pleasant but assigned to our large party as well as another. It was just too much to juggle. An appetizer was forgotten about and never brought. We waited several times for her to come by and actually had to go get her and ask her to come to our table. It Was Not dinner time it was a few hours prior to and that was done for that reason. Oh and the table check out was a disaster. It took at least 20 - 30 minutes for people to check out and it locked on one occasion and we had to go get the manager because we couldn't find our waitress. Absolutely unacceptable. I do not blame the waitress I blame management for not running the place correctly!

1. It was our son’s birthday 2. They did nothing special for his birthday 3. We requested seafood chowder for our sides and she came back to tell us that they couldn’t give us that because it’s “frozen” (on a Friday night), but then she came back later to tell us when we were leaving “that sucks, the chowder is finally ready.” 4. The bathroom sinks wouldn’t come on. So I had soap all over my hands and couldn’t get either of the “automatic” sinks to turn on. 5. 1 of my 3 fish tacos was fishy… BAD fishy

The manager and waitress were extremely rude and the customer service was terrible. Waiter didn’t come to my table, bring silverware, water or boxes.

This was my second visit to Bahama Breeze in Troy and my last. My daughter order her steak well done and it was just shy of medium rare. I order the grilled chicken from the adult side, because according to the menu it shows 2 pieces of chicken breast, but instead it only had one. To top it off, I ordered the red skinned mash potatoes and fries, but what I received was mashed potatoes and fries with cheese sauce over the entire meal. My grandson had the grilled chicken with fries from the children menu and it had the same size portion of chicken I had received, 1 piece of chicken, but his was plated much better than mine and with no cheese sauce which mine was covered with. Highly disappointed! ☹️

Dirty chefs gave me food poisoning …. Old shrimp & dirty grille used for cooking my steak ! I left the fish there in the plate for a reason after I bit into it …. Mashallah 🤲🏾💯

Over all a very good experience only problems was multiple family’s had kids just screaming their heads off, I know family’s want to go out too but at least control your kids…..like I said place was amazing the only problem was something they couldn’t control

Zhira provided excellent service; she's very pleasant and cordial. Only issue was a group of 8 women posing and taking selfies near our table - knocking our table, very rude, inconsiderate, and in the way of staff. They messed up a clean table with their belongings and the left.

Such a wonderful overall experience. The food was delicious, and the service was even better! The Ultimate Margarita wasn’t really that ultimate for the lack of tequila and way overpriced. The upside is that our waitress Katrina was wonderfully sweet, helpful, and attentive. We used to frequent BB (often weekly) but have been living out of town for years so this was a sort of homecoming. Katrina took time to explain what might be different or new on the menu and made suggestions based on our questions. She followed up with us on how our meal was and if we needed more drinks. I ended up getting a bowl of seafood chowder which was deliciously filling. So much so, that I couldn’t finish my chicken wings. The wings were also delicious, fresh, and perfectly prepared. No worries though, Katrina brought us 2 boxes for my leftover wings and wife’s leftover salmon salad. Most definitely will be requesting her as my waitress soon! So nice to return to such a warm and upbeat atmosphere, delicious food, and a wonderfully sweet and attentive waitress like Katrina!
