Perfectly sized portions for a quick bite

Cute little spot on Bainbridge with delicious food and great service. The spanakopita was my favorite!!

We tried all the taps. They were so good but HAD to get another Empanada and Spanakopita! The Estola wine was also a great pair. Soo good.

Very very good! Vik was so nice to our kiddo. Prices are great. Place has earned its stars!

Oh, man.. Delicious tapas and much, much more! A fine and broad selection of primarily Spanish wines. The House wine, the Estola, is a solid table wine and an excellent value at $11. Delicious homemade empanadas, spanakopitas, hummus, an off-menu gyro - you cannot go wrong here. And that’s before the delish tiramisu! Sonjia, the owner, is so welcoming, chill and attentive. This is truly an island gem, and reasonably priced to boot. And, one of the few restaurants open till 10p!

Everything that was set on the table was amazing. We had the spanikopita, lamb pita, empanadas, pinchon de carne, and the gazpacho! If we HAD to pick a top three, it would be the empanada, gazpacho, and spanikopita - in that order! The vermouth fizz was a fun and light drink to accompany the food, and we were pleasantly surprised with how well priced everything was. The owner took great care of us. If we lived here, we would be weekly patrons 😉

We stumbled upon this place because our kids needed to use the bathroom in the small mall where it is located. It was an amazing and fortuitous find! The owner welcomed us and our kids in with warmth and kindness. The food was all excellent. We had the meal for 2, the cauliflower, and the lamb tagine. Portion size was good as well! We will come out of our way next time to return if we come back to Bainbridge.

Just a short walk from the Main Street and 1000% worth the detour. Every single plate we ordered was INCREDIBLE and a bigger portion than expected. Get the cauliflower and the spanakopita. Very cute and clean inside and our service was excellent. Will definitely return again and again.

I've spent a fair amount of time in Spain recently and really enjoy the Spanish cuisine, most of all tapas. The first time I came here I had the lamb lollipop over potatoes bravas, which was so good I could eat this every time. The next time I had the paella. A few months ago I had been in Valencia, the birthplace of paella, and I swear what I had here surpassed what I had in Valencia. On top of that, the wines were great, as well as the sherry and vermouth.

"You had me at tapas bar." But please, go on... In for a long work meeting over lunch, we hadn't even cracked the menu in our first 15 minutes there. Letting the waitress know we'd flag her down when ready, she accepted it graciously - along with an offer that she could also just bring her own recommendations if we were so inclined. A person doesn't offer that unless they're confident in their ability to deliver. We took her up on the offer and were not disappointed. Five-star experience all around, and we never did look at that menu. We'll be back!

Great food and friendly service. A fast favorite!

Having lived and worked in Galicia, northern Spain, in the mid-1970s, I fell in love with the local tradition of "Tapas hunting": spending an evening with friends going from bar to bar and partaking of local small-portion cuisine and regional wines. Outside of Spain, I've found very few places that beautifully celebrate that tradition and quality. Bainbridge Tapas does it in spades! Cozy, casual yet eloquent, friendly atmosphere and service, great background music (Flamenco, Gipsy-Jazz, Gipsy Kings). This time I had "Pincho De Carne" - perfectly cooked juicy steak (2 skewers) in a heavenly sauce, accompanied by a generous glass of fine Spanish vino tinto (red wine). Not just a perfect meal, Bainbridge Tapas is a magical journey, a brief retreat to recharge one's hope for this life, this moment in time.

Wow… after a long day of unpacking and and cleaning in our new place on BI, we were not feeling motivated at all to head out for an early dinner. We were looking for some good carry out and thankfully a quick search popped up Bainbridge Tapas! While ordering takeout I inquired about Sangria and and the description was enough to drag us both out to imbibe. We needed it :-). Sitting at the small bar was perfect. Food and sangria didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious The service by the owner and the Sangria salesman was attentive, warm and welcoming. The prices were very fair. This place will be on heavy rotation in the future!

OMG!!! If you're reading this review, you're probably looking for a place to eat. Well, stop looking- you've found it! We tried about half of the menu on our first visit and EVERY. SINGLE. THING. was AMAZING! It's so hard to find actual good food in Western Washington, but this place has restored my faith. Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as possible. Prices are more than fair for the quality. Be aware: portion sizes are not huge (it's A TAPAS restaurant). I will be looking for excuses to come back to BI as often as I can now. Sorry, no photos... the food was so good, I forgot 🤷‍♂️

The food is amazing and so is the staff. I felt like I was at a friend's home that prepared delicious treats for me. 10/10 I highly recommend you try this place. Don't let the building that the treasure is housed in foul you it is worth your visit to the island plus its just off the main road in town.

Pretty good food, great service here! I came here in a group of 4 and was promptly seated at a booth.

The owner was very kind and welcoming! The tapas were delicious! I definitely recommend the pincho de carne, lamb mini pitas, and the cauliflower! All of the flavors were outstanding and it was the perfect stop after getting off the ferry. Highly recommended for anyone whose hungry and on the island!

Attentive service, lovely atmosphere, and exceptional food make this restaurant a must-visit establishment! We loved everything, but the pork with blue cheese was our favorite!

Nice little place close to Bainbridge attractions. The food arrived quick and was yumm ! It could be presented better but that did not take away from the taste in any way. Service was good as well… they even have call buttons by the tables to get staff attention if needed but everything was so prompt that we didn’t have to use it. Definitely recommend !!

Sonia is an excellent hostess - plenty of vegetarian options - we had all of the vegetarian options in the hot tapas section. Amazing & open till late at night. Please don't miss coming here. We need to encourage such individual-owned business :)

My family is from Spain, and travel there frequently. I am so impressed with the tapas at Bainbridge Tapas! Highly recommended! (Also, to celebrate the start of the 2023 Tour de France in the Basque Country in a few weeks, you may want to raise a glass of their rosé txakolina from Getaria, Guipuzkoa. Wonderful!)

Had a delicious lunch at this cozy cheerful new restaurant in Bainbridge. Solicitous efficient service, yummy fresh tapas and sangria. Unlike many places on the island they also have longer evening hours so you don’t have to eat at 6. Looking forward to going back.

Excellent selection of tapas. We loved every bite. The owner Sonja was super friendly and accommodating to my seafood allergy. Would highly recommend this to all foodies who appreciate the real thing. Well done!!

A true new staple to Bainbridge’s cuisine! Wonderful portions, knowledgeable staff, fantastic atmosphere! You can’t miss it!

The flatbread and mushroom pasta followed by the creme brulee was an incredible meal paired with a wonderful cup of wine! The service was fantastic and the food came quick, the setting was cozy and well-lit, this is quickly going to become a favorite bainbridge location for fine cuisine

This is an amazing tapas bar with a great selection of food and fine wine. It is also kid friendly and has great service. You will not be disappointed.
