The food has always been solid. I've been coming here for over 15 years. Even though I don't live in OC anymore, I still try and stop by when I'm in town. Love their baja bowl with blackened fish

Something changed with the food preparation. It is now my third time that I order an enchilada and it’s basically a quesadilla, there is barely any sauce inside and none outside. So dry to eat. Again, for the third time, the rice also tastes different, not as buttery, it is very dry.

I had dinner there yesterday, I was amazed at the size of their tacos, I was thinking king it was a joke, but it was not, 40 bucks for 4 SMALL size fish tacos - SERIOUSLY? Plenty of rise and beans, but their tacos!! That was ridiculous 40 bucks If you go to Rubios or somewhere else, you could definitely get a much better food and portions, the fish tacos were plain like rubber. Not worth it to try again

Long-time customer of Baja and was disappointed, unfortunately, when my 16-year-old son took a bite of his chicken taco only to find a part of a toothpick in it. Ugh! What a bummer. I told the cashier and she offered a new taco. I hope that it was reported to the manager and appropriate measures are taken to not have that happen again. Also, please, please, please, do not put plastic fork/knives in takeout bags. By law, you are only to distribute them when requested by the customer.

These are the kind of spots I love finding for lunch this place puts out really good food like today I had the enchilada plate and I like how they do it with a twist instead of Spanish rice they give you white rice which is much better The beans were excellent and the cheese was absolutely delicious on the enchiladas The only thing is they get extremely busy during lunch and dinner so I suggest you get there early

We love Baja Fish Tacos and today was an especially great experience. It was super busy but we still received great service and got our food super quickly. I usually get some tacos, but today I got the carne asada enchiladas and they were awesome and probably my new fav dish.

Worst fish taco I ever had unfortunately. The rice was so salty and tasted like they dropped a brick of butter in it, so gross the black beans were pretty salty also. I paid 17.88 … I’m so disappointed it was my lunch break. I couldn’t even finish my second taco. I pinned a picture. The taco looks so sad and unsatisfying. Also had the ceviche and man not good at all missing a lot of flavor. Stay away from this place at all cost.

Great consistent food quality at reasonable prices. The pico de gallo is ridiculously good. The grilled fish burrito is my favorite. The place can get very busy during peak times around lunch and dinner. I usually do takeout and get in and out quickly.

I love this restaurant I have been coming here for a long time now. My favorite dish is the blacken fish tacos and the asada nachos. They also got chicken or potato tacos, burritos and salads shrimp tacos, enchiladas guacamole and chips etc etc…They have a salsa bar, fountain drinks, bottled Mexican beers and bottled Mexican sodas. Staff is friendly ,food is great and prices are reasonable . When ever you are around south coast plaza, cruse down to Baja fish taco.
