Our kids have loved attending BFA. The teachers, curriculum and administrators are top notch. I feel a peace of mind when dropping the kids off for the day. I would highly recommend it to any family looking for childcare.

BFA is incredible! The staff and teachers are kind and loving and do an excellent job caring for our children. The teachers provide wonderful communication about curriculum and keeps parents in the loop on their child's development. The school provides fantastic resources for families and children such as park meet ups, kids night out, take home meals, and so much more. We could not be happier with the care our children receive at BFA and could not imagine entrusting a better group of people with their care and education!

Can't say enough about BFA Upper Arlington. From the teachers to the administration they are all wonderful. BFA fosters an environment of connectivity and builds amazing relationships with their kiddos and families. Since my son has attended there (age 2 and now in the kindergarten program), he has been through four different classrooms and each classroom and teacher he has worked with has been warm, loving, and supportive. Not to mention he was practically reading thanks to his fabulous pre-k teachers. Now he is attending the kindergarten program and is LOVING it. Races out the door each morning so excited to get to school. We feel so lucky that we chose BFA and are apart of this community. Thank you BFA!

We love BFA! After scheduling tours with a few different child care centers, this one just felt right. And we couldn't be happier! They have made our child's first daycare experience a smooth transition from just being at home with family as caregivers. You can tell the teachers really care. Plus the app is amazing and keeps us well updated throughout the day. After almost a year, we can really see a difference in our child's social skills and how much he has learned.

I am a current teacher at the BFA Clubhouse and it is wonderful! I have made so many strong, lasting relationships with students, families, coworkers, and admin that I deeply value! The clubhouse specifically has a network of coworkers that really feel like a close knit community and I really feel like we look out for each other and help each other out when we can! I have made real friendships with coteachers because the people that work there are so genuine, kind, and fun! I love the support I receive as a teacher in terms of materials, curriculum, specials, and behaviors. Having a behavioral support specialist and a curriculum director in house for BFA is super helpful and I learn so much from the meetups! I get to be creative, adding my own ideas to the curriculum and have fun with wearing costumes that match the themes to make the kids smile! From progress summaries, photoshoots, online messages home, quarterly assessments, parent conferences, kids’ nights out, and extra holiday events, BFA truly offers more to families than any other center or school I’ve seen before, even ones I’ve worked at. The absolute best part of the job is bonding with the kids and getting to watch them laugh, learn, and grow! I love seeing their ‘aha’ moments and helping them feel proud of their hard work! I am so grateful to be a teacher at the clubhouse and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day!

Deciding who to leave our infant with when going back to work was nearly impossible. Until we visited Balanced Family Academy - Upper Arlington. The buildings are bright, colorful, and clean. The staff is caring and exceptional. Our son has gone to BFA for four and a half years now - and the teachers have always gone above and beyond to educate and nurture him when we can’t be there. Leadership has always been receptive to feedback and showed us their commitment to working with us for the benefit of our son. We couldn’t love BFA more and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality childcare.

BFA has been great for our kids over the past 4 years. All the employees have been amazing helping our boys flourish. Constantly impressed with the structure, curriculum and programs BFA provides. Love getting constant updates and pictures on the app as well.

We recently started at BFA and it has been a phenomenal experience thus far. As first-time parents, it is always scary to drop off your sweet baby for the first time. BFA makes it totally comfortable and seamless, consistently sending updates on feeding, sleeps, and pictures throughout the day. They are highly responsive and the teachers are all incredibly kind and patient. They knew me by name the first day I dropped off and picked up my kid, which I was very impressed with and made me feel part of the family. Big recommend!

Our child absolutely loved BFA! We've been incredibly happy with the care and attention our child received. They have thrived since starting at BFA. The teachers are incredibly caring and attentive, and the daycare offers a variety of fun and educational activities. We love the artwork when it comes home! The teachers go above and beyond to create a positive and stimulating environment and we appreciated the emphasis on both academic and social skills. The office staff were professional, helpful, and kind. They went the extra mile in accommodating us when we needed some additional resources for our child. Can’t recommend BFA enough. It’s a large decision when searching for a daycare and BFA was a great and loving atmosphere for our daughter.

BFA is such a nice place to be. Working there has been such a great experience (Clubhouse). The admin and co-teachers are very understanding, helpful, and so welcoming. This is the best job to be at. Getting to see little humans grow and being a great part in their life is just such a beautiful experience! Connecting with families and knowing they are trusting in you to care for their kiddos is very heartwarming! I have grown so attached to my kiddos that I got to teach every single day, and I can tell they feel the same about me 🥹! I will miss my kiddos dearly 🥹❤️! I would recommend 10/10 to work here it’s overall a beautiful experience if you love kids!!

Working at BFA Treehouse has been an amazing experience! As a student I have been working here for the summer and it has been wonderful to get to know the staff and the kids. Everyone from the families to the administration has been so welcoming and helped me get adjusted to my first true job in childcare. I worked as a float this summer and loved getting to work in the different classrooms and getting to know all of the kids and staff in each classroom. Each day was different and I got experience working with all ages the Treehouse cares for. The facility is super nice and BFA cares about the details, from the staff knowing and checking meals for kids’ allergies, to posting quality photos for parents to see, to knowing the parents’ names. Administration has been so flexible with my schedule and has let me stay at 40 hours a week even on days that they were fully staffed and didn’t “need” me to be there for a lack of teachers, which is greatly appreciated as a student. Treehouse is rewarding to their staff with contests, incentives, and just thank-yous to the teachers. BFA does an amazing job of getting to know their staff and families and it was wonderful to get to know everyone involved at BFA, and to see how BFA families get connected with each other outside of daycare too, whether it’s for play dates for their children or at events such as Playdate at the Park. The staff at BFA care enough about the kids to discipline them well but in a way that makes each child feel heard. My only heads-up for parents sending their kids to BFA is that some aspects of BFA seem very progressive. For example, some books are in multiple classroom libraries teaching kids to accept and encourage choosing their own gender or identifying as non-binary. And this teaching seems to be accepted by, if not encouraged by, the staff. I understand this may not be a concern for many parents and that for some parents this may even be a draw-in, but for those who do not want their children learning these idea, this was something really concerning I saw in multiple classrooms. That being said, the parents at BFA seem to see how their children are truly cared for and it has been such a pleasure to work here for the summer. I was also sent to Playhouse and Greenhouse on a few occasions and the staff were very welcoming and I loved getting to know the kids in those buildings as well. I would emphatically recommend working at BFA to anyone looking for a job working with kids, even if it is just for the summer and over breaks. I never thought saying goodbye to the kids at Treehouse would be so hard but I will truly miss working at BFA and am excited to come back during breaks!

We love the Clubhouse at BFA! On the hunt for a daycare, we toured many options in Columbus and BFA was by far the best option for our family. The teachers truly love the children and care for them like they are their own. BFA offers healthy meals and great extra curricular activities that our son loves. We couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.

So thankful to have a safe and friendly place for our baby to thrive! We've been at BFA for just over a year, since our little guy was only 13 weeks old, and know it's a place that will be in our life for many years to come. Thank you, BFA!

The staff, curriculum, facilities, technology, and meal plans are all wonderful at Balanced Family Academy, but that’s not why I’m writing a review. Like many children who are part of a classroom, inevitably conflict can be difficult to avoid. In my daughter’s classroom, when conflict arose, it was BFA’s openness and prompt commitment to child safety and resolution that impressed me most. The teachers and administrators were clear on policy, what had worked in the past, while simultaneously being open to suggestions. Ultimately, customizing a solution that resolved the issue and kept our kids safe. There is no shortage of quality childcare options in Columbus, but to me, handling challenges with a family first focus was what made the difference. They say it takes a village to raise happy, healthy kids - I’m glad that BFA is ours.

**Review for Balanced Family Academy** I have mixed feelings about my experience at Balanced Family Academy. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend working here, and I have concerns about sending kids to this facility. One significant issue is that smoking occurs in the public bathrooms used by children, which raises serious health concerns. In fact, I've witnessed someone leave their vape behind, and it was alarming to see that no action was taken against them. This lack of accountability is troubling, and it makes me question the environment children would be in. The owner seems primarily concerned with profit rather than the well-being of employees. Despite having evidence of bullying and mistreatment, she does nothing to address these issues. Instead, she has been known to gaslight employees, creating false narratives to justify unjust firings. It’s disheartening to see good people let go simply because they spoke up about the mistreatment by others, particularly Emily Howdshell, who has been reported to mistreat multiple employees. Additionally, the management is inconsistent in their treatment of staff, leading to a toxic atmosphere. The office environment only adds to the problem; instead of focusing on their responsibilities, many staff members seem more interested in spending time on social media or gossiping. This creates cliques, particularly in the greenhouse area, reminiscent of high school dynamics that should have no place in a professional setting. In summary, there are serious issues that need to be addressed at Balanced Family Academy, making it a place I would hesitate to recommend for either employment or as an educational environment for children.

BFA came highly recommended by several friends and we have been so impressed. The staff is so friendly and takes a lot of care/pride in looking after our daughter. They are very communicative and do a great job of keeping us informed of what she’s doing each day. We love the activities she’s exposed to and have seen a lot of developmental progress since she started.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the care our children receive at BFA UA. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere - the entire staff knows our kids names. The staff is incredibly nurturing, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and happiness. We’ve been going to BFA UA location since 2020 and we couldn't be happier with the years of care our family has received. Communication, cleanliness, activities and curriculum are all outstanding. Meals, diapers/wipes are included! Our daughter is excelling for her age and we have BFA to thank!

The clubhouse is amazing and friendly staff!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Clubhouse team and our experience there. When our youngest needed part time daycare, we were very anxious about finding a place where we felt comfortable leaving him. We toured a couple locations and immediately felt at ease with the people and the environment at BFA -- and he has really thrived there. He created strong bonds with his teachers, made new friends, and is confident and ready to start Pre-K at our elementary this year. We are so fortunate to have had the support of BFA and the Clubhouse teachers and staff to get him to this point. We will really miss being there weekly, but hope to be back for summer camp!

Both of my children attended BFA from age two through kindergarten. I could endlessly praise the amazing staff and the enriching experiences they provided. Some highlights included weekly nature time, Jump Bunch, Kids Night Out, Water Wednesdays, and the availability of pre-made family meals at pickup. Additionally, tuition includes healthy meals and snacks, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, etc. The administration is organized and kind, and the teachers have been excellent role models for my kids.The all-inclusive care at BFA significantly eases the challenges of being a working parent. I am forever grateful for the loving care BFA has provided my family.

We love BFA! We have had many experiences with different child cares since our older one was born. BFA is definitely one of the best. I really like the curriculums they have, such as Nature, Yoga, water day and Jump bunch. Their facility is nice and clean, the teacher there is very patient and tries to bond with the kids (a big shout out to Miss D in the beaver room at Club house). I feel my child gets to learn and have fun there. I can see how much Natalie has grown!

We have 2 little ones that attend BFA both at the clubhouse. We couldn't be happier with our experience there. Both kiddos are excited to be there each day and be apart of the great activities they partake in. We also love seeing the pictures sent to us of them enjoying their day while they're there. It truly brightens both me and my wife's day immensely! Keep up the wonderful job BFA! Thank you!

We have two children in the Clubhouse and we have been so happy with the care our children receive. They have a robust curriculum, lots of enrichment activities and outdoor time, and the most wonderful teachers. It is a really warm and caring environment.

My 3 kiddos recently started at BFA off Reed Rd and we have been blown away by how quickly they integrated into the classrooms. They are so excited to go to school every day and you can really tell the staff wants to be there, which is so comforting dropping your kids off every day.

So happy my grandchildren are attending Balanced Family Academy! We are fortunate to have so many in Columbus!!!!

We’ve had an exceptional experience at BFA. This center is very organized, communicative and our kids have had caring, consistent teachers during our time here.

We have been taking our son to BFA for almost 3 years now and I cannot say enough good things about them. One of our favorite teachers and now administrators Miss.Madelyn has been amazing. Everyone is great but she holds a special place in our family’s heart because she was our son’s first teacher before becoming an admin, she really helped put our minds at ease as first time parents leaving our infant. She always has a smile on her face, is approachable if you have any questions or concerns, and is absolutely amazing with the kiddos!!

Both of my daughters have been at BFA for two years, one in the aftercare program and one in FT daycare, and we could not be happier! The teachers communicate so well on a regular basis so I always know what my kids have been to, who they are playing with and what is going on in the classroom. The teachers genuinely care and will follow up with any questions I’ve asked, whether sharing a song they sang in class that I asked about or a new idea on how to help break the thumb-sucking habit. And they’re always looking for new ways to engage the kids and help them explore- nature, yoga, music, you name it. Working FT is hard, but so much easier knowing my kids are in excellent hands. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are nit from Columbus so we don’t have local family to help take care of our kids. I am glad we found a place where we trust the staff to look after them just as good as our family members would!

I dropped my four month old off in January of 2021 for the first time at Balanced Family Academy. Due to the pandemic, I handed her over to someone I never met and to a building I had never been in. Within minutes of dropping her off they sent me a picture of her smiling and in almost 4 years she hasn’t stopped smiling while at Balanced Family. I’m blown away every day with the curriculum and the programing- from music to nature to jump bunch to water Wednesdays in the summer. The teachers and staff are so caring and so invested in every child. As a parent I have such peace of mind that I know she is loved and safe. Balance Family Academy is magic and I’m so grateful that my child is having the opportunity to grow, learn and thrive here.

We were very nervous and anxious about starting daycare but we couldn’t be happier with deciding on BFA. They constantly send pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day, which we love. We just LOVE Balanced Family Academy - UA and can’t imagine trusting our children with anyone else! Our oldest daughter was in one of the inaugural classes as a newborn over 9 years ago and it’s amazing to see how BFA has grown and evolved over all this time and yet maintained such a high level of quality. Now, we have a 2 year old in the Treehouse building and she loves it just the same. Great place to work! I can only speak to being an employee at BFA Greenhouse, I can't attest to the experience of family attending the center or being an employee in other buildings here at the UA location. But nonetheless, here is a summary of my experience as an employee in Greenhouse. I believe the current system of childcare doesn't work for families or employees. It's not sustainable in the long term for employees and affordable childcare should be a right for everyone. HOWEVER, Balanced Family Academy does the best that they can with all of the resources that they can gather. I've truly enjoyed working here for the summer. Admin is amazing at making you feel supported and you always have everything you need to carry out the curriculum. The curriculum is fun, engaging and based on ECE standards for children in that age group. There are lots of staff members (not just admin) that will help you learn all the different cleaning procedures and everything is pretty evenly divided between the three teachers that are generally in each room. Admin is also very understanding when you need to call off for any reason and as someone that has worked on getting a full time teaching position all summer, that's been incredibly helpful. I've loved working here, it's been a great time!

I love working at Bfa Treehouse! I love creating close bonds with the kids and families. I have so much fun each day i would highly recommend it!!

BFA UA clubhouse is a home away from home for my son. The teachers are AMAZING and I trust them whole-heartedly. Most days my son does not even want to come home because he is having so much fun learning and growing.

Our daughter loves Balance Family Academy in Upper Arlington. She joined her class in the spring of this year and the staff and teachers are very professional. There is a good mix of play, pre- school aged lessons and lots of extra actives like music, nature, jump bunch, and out door time on their awesome playground equipment. Healthy and yummy meals and snacks are provided too. My daughter comes home everyday happy which is the best part.

My three Grandsons have had a wonderful experience at Balanced Family Academy of Upper Arlington they have developed social, academic, and personal skills to give them a great start in life.

We only have positive things to say about Balanced Family Academy. Our two children went to BFA from 4 months until we moved to another city. The location is very clean, the staff is very warm and friendly and they care for your children like their own. Our children loved it there and I can't recommend it enough.

If I could get 10 stars I would! Balanced Family Academy is part of our family. Our 18 month old + 4 year old loves all of their teacher/friends in their class and constantly talks about them at home. We love the care her teachers provide her everyday and all of the pictures that we get! We could not be happier with our selection of care for our kiddos! They are our extended family!

I love how interactive all of the teachers are with the kids and how they always allow me to play with them when I come in. I always see the administrators helping out in the classrooms and every time I come into Playhouse it's just an all around good vibe. Never anything negative. We especially love the food choices that are served and extra activities included daily. FIVE starts ⭐️ for our favorite daycare!

BFA Upper Arlington is like an extension of our family with great teachers and administrators that will go the extra mile for you, especially when you run our of gas in the middle of the parking lot! Great extracurricular activities such as nature day, live music, and sports with jump bunch. We have enjoyed seeing our kids create friendships inside and outside of school.

Our daughter started with BFA at 1 year old and our experience has been amazing. The teachers and leaders at BFA have made this an easier transition for us coming from an in home nanny. Our daughter took some time to warm up, but seeing her interacting with other kids is something she was clearly missing. The communication is top notch. We receive pictures daily and the updates through the app are so easy to keep an eye on their days. This transition has been hard for our daughter and us as a family, but we have already began to see the benefits and cannot wait to see her continue to grow at BFA.

Our Girls have loved going to BFA the past four years. They’re happy to go everyday and love telling us all of the things they’ve done upon pickup. They especially love the nature class and music class every week. The Summer camp has been great with wonderful field trip locations weekly and lots of time and activity outdoors. After school care is also a great option for families in Upper Arlington. BFA is a great community as well with options for activities for both parents and kids outside of the school day.

Balanced Family Academy is the gold standard for childcare! I’ve been sending my two boys to BFA since 2015 when BFA was just getting started. From the beginning, it was clear that BFA was raising the bar for daycares. They truly have the whole family in mind in all of their practices so that we, as working parents, can find some balance in our lives knowing that our children are well cared for. The facilities are impeccable – clean, well maintained and beautifully designed. They provide wholesome food (sometimes organic) plus diapers and wipes, so that I could just take my child and not have to worry about packing food or supplies. The staff truly care for the children – BFA has great long-standing staff members that create real relationships with the kids. And they do a good job of promoting and retaining their high-quality employees for years. We’ve been fortunate to have Miss Leah and Mr. Joe in both of my boys’ lives – starting as teachers and now in director roles! I’m grateful for their constant smiles, the love they’ve shown for my kids and their support throughout the years. All of the extras – they do a great job at offering services for parents (take-home meals, adult exercise classes, kids night out) and special events for the children (Farm animals visiting the school, special performances, Bubble day!) BFA has grown and evolved greatly since we first started going there. But despite the growth, the owners have worked hard to maintain standards and stay true to their core values. Thank you, BFA, for being a critical part of our “village” throughout the last decade.

We LOVE BFA!! Our baby started in the Playhouse this past month and we couldn't be happier! The staff are incredibly accommodating the teachers are so sweet and communicative, and the administrators Morgan and Caity are so professional and caring! Our baby enjoys so many fun activities throughout the day, and we love the adorable pictures they send. It’s clear our baby is well cared for, loved, and so happy! My son has been attending BFA after school care for 2 years and truly enjoys the teachers and activities! He has made friends and enjoys going to the park after school… BFA does an excellent job communicating pick-ups, updates, trips, etc. Kara and Megan are outstanding staff members who are reliable and friendly. We feel very lucky to be part of the BFA community. The teachers are very caring and provide an environment that is fun for learning and developing but also safe. I love walking in the door and having teachers in the older classrooms say hi to my littles even though they haven’t taught them yet. The communication from teachers and management has been wonderful and we are excited to continue to see our kiddos grow.

We have been very happy with our experience at BFA. Our daughter loves her teachers and they made the transition to day care so much easier! We also appreciate the variety of food offered while she's at daycare.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my children receive at BFA. The administrators in the Clubhouse always go out of their way to make my children feel welcome and make sure they start their day off with a smile. I am so thankful they have such a fun and nurturing environment to learn in each day!

We moved our son to Balanced Family after we felt the education he was receiving at his prior school was not matching his needs for his age. The admin at Balanced Family answered all of our questions and made us feel at home from day one. The teachers are very attentive to your child’s needs and will attempt to accommodate a request within reason; ie, if your child uses the potty they get an M&M (parent supplied of course). There are weekly nature, music and physical activity classes. Outside of the regular curriculum the additional offerings for the classes above allowing you and your child to interact with the instructor and your child. The only regret we have is not starting with Balanced Family from the beginning.

Our son is thriving! He is making friends while he learns and is excited to go to “school.” We love all the diverse nutritious meals he has been offered. We also love the extra classes that our son has been able to participate in including nature time, music class, and jump bunch. We love the additional classes offered through school on the weekends to keep our son engaged and social. BFAs focus on family and their willingness to host events to facilitate and foster relationships among parents and students outside of “school” is also great!

BFA is the best! Highly recommended.

We have been with the Treehouse at Balanced Family Academy UA since the birth of our firstborn son three years ago. I don’t think anything could really prepare us for the anxiety, fear, and sadness that came from having to drop off our child at daycare but our experience has been nothing short of amazing. We were welcomed and quickly became comfortable with Treehouse. We are impressed by the education through the daily curriculum as well as the fun visitors. However, what we appreciate even more are the relationships and the love that has been shown to our son and our family along the way. The care and transparency from all of his teachers has been so great. However, one person at Treehouse stands out and is the reason we will never consider any other daycare. Building administrator Miss Megan has gone above and beyond in not only her every day duties but given the additional attention and care she’s shown our son, she’s become part of our chosen family. We are forever grateful that BFA UA brought her into our lives!

My experience with BFA has been nothing short of amazing. The entire staff is focused on the entire child. It’s a complete development approach including personal growth, learning, emotional wellbeing which is so rare to find in one program. Lead by kind and caring staff.

The teachers at BFA go above and beyond to provide a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment. The kids learn and grow so much through the support of their dedicated teachers. BFA has created a wonderful community where all families feel welcome. BFA is amazing!!!

We started our daughter at BFA at 7 months after 4 months of care at other facilities that simply did not meet our standards. Since then our daughter is thriving in every aspect. She has such caring teachers that regularly let us know how much they love her. Our family is bilingual and her teachers ask us for words she says so they can learn along with her and reinforce our bilingual teachings. She’s only 2.5 and they go so above and beyond our expectations. Being working parents is tough, but knowing your baby is loved this way is simply amazing. We plan to stay here until we no longer can and I am sure that day will be a sad one.

Balanced Family Academy provides a caring and nurturing environment for both of our boys to grow and explore the world around them. The variety of activities, such as music class, nature time, reading circle, and Jump Bunch, keeps them engaged and excited each day, and the "all-inclusive" approach of providing diapers and meals helps our family with our busy schedules.

I have been working at the Upper Arlington clubhouse for BFA for almost 2 years now, and it has been amazing!! I’ve worked in several childcares before coming to BFA and there’s truly nothing like the quality of care that Balanced Family Academy provides!

Balanced Family Academy is absolutely wonderful and have exceeded all expectations my daughter/son-n-law need in a daycare for both of their children. When I have had the opportunity to visit BFA - I am always greeted by a smile from the staff and teachers. I would highly recommend BFA to anyone looking for childcare for their children, because this grandma is very pleased!

I’m amazed by the level of care my grandchildren receive from BFA! The teachers and admin are so kind and really go above and beyond for the children and families. I always feel so confident leaving my grandchildren. 10/10 recommend!

Decisions for school and child care are hard! BFA made our choice so much easier. A neighbor referred us and we are so happy they did. First, my child has had great experiences with the teachers so far. My child is excited to interact with them and even mentions missing them over breaks or long weekends. Next, the daily activities that are built into the curriculum for pre-k are fun and interactive. I like that they are lead by someone other than the teachers (ie yoga, jump bunch). BFA also has amazing hours for working parents. This is so helpful!

Our daughter has had a wonderful experience throughout her time at balanced family on Reed rd. Very hands on and high level of communication during class room transitions and potty training. Management has also stayed on point throughout the process. Special shout out to Joe who is always there to welcome kids and parents in the morning. Really shows that management down to classroom assistants care about the well being, growth, and comfort of all the kids.

BFA gave not only our children, but my husband and me, the best experience we could have in childcare. The entire team is focused on the whole family. We were confident in our decision from day one, and while our boys are older now, BFA will always be our family.

BFA has been great. We currently have 3 kids in full time and couldn’t be happier. The structure, activities, and staff have been incredibly helpful for our kids development.

We joined BFA UA couple months ago and have had a wonderful experience with the staff, teachers and other families. It’s such a warm and friendly place, and teachers do a great job sending updates and pictures throughout the day, and giving each child personal attention. Our daughter loves going to school and the fact that they provide food, snacks, diapers and wipes, makes life so much easier!! Highly recommend BFA!

Both of my daughters (3 & 4) have gone here since they were infants. Our experience has only been positive. We love the teachers and staff, the kids have learned, grown and had experiences we never could have replicated in a home care setting. They provide diapers/meals etc. which is a major advantage over others that we considered. Location is convenient. I would definitely recommend anyone send their children here.

Our experience with Balanced Family Academy (BFA) has been absolutely incredible! From the moment we stepped through their doors, we knew we had found a place where our children (twin boys and future newborn) would thrive. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They create an environment that feels like an extension of family, which is exactly what we were looking for. The facility itself is immaculate and well-equipped with everything a child could need for a fun and educational day. It's clear that safety and cleanliness are top priorities here, which as parents, gives us great peace of mind. We appreciate the daily updates and pictures we receive of our twins and greatly appreciate the feedback that we receive on their development and social skills. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our choice of daycare. BFA has been nothing but amazing and we recommend it to any parent seeking a safe and enriching environment for their child. Simply can not sing Balanced Family Academy’s praises enough as they have every base covered from providing our family with fresh, nutrient rich meals (for parents too!) to fun extracurricular events like trunk or treat, they are always going above and beyond!! We have been so fortunate to be a part of the BFA community for years now and love the way they pay attention to all the small details that really help make things work for busy families. Whether it’s providing those nourishing meals or super fun activities like Yoga Saturdays and Parents Night Out, they always have your back. If you’re looking for an extension of your family to look after your littles, look no further, BFA is the only place to be!

BFA in UA has been an absolute Godsend to our family, and I could not imagine a better, more loving environment for our little girl to grow up! She just turned 1.5 and has spent time in both the infant classroom and now in toddler classroom in the Treehouse building. I have adored all of her teachers and the administrativen + management staff in the building are incredible as well. They all truly feel like an extension of our family. BFA was the second daycare center she attended in the Columbus area , and the first center was mostly a bad experience that had tainted my view on daycares in general. But I quickly realized when starting out at BFA that it was going to be an all-around different experience here. They have been so reliable, trustworthy, honest, helpful, and genuine, and I feel so good every day about sending my girl into a place that I know she is cared for, loved, and growing both mentally and physically. We <3 you BFA!

We love BFA Treehouse! The administrators are warm, friendly, and very communicative. You can tell they really care about all of the kids that come through the door! They always put a smile on my daughter’s face! We have been at BFA treehouse for 3 months now, and my daughter adores all of her teachers in the infant tiger room! Her teachers are loving and sweet. They work so hard to create fun learning experiences every day. Plus they take the best pictures! Its such a joy to see my daughter so excited everyday!

Don’t be fooled by the smoke and mirrors at BFA UA. They don’t treat their teachers well, nor do they handle communication with parents well at all either. A few of our friends who also attended BFA have had issues with other children biting and scratching their children to the point one child tore her cornea. Another mother withdrew both her children when her daughter kept coming home with deep scratches from another child in the class. BFA did nothing. Our own case, they failed to communicate with us as parents and thought they should make a decision that was clearly a parent’s decision, and then chalked up us being upset about how they handled the situation as “frustrated parents.” BFA UA appears shiny on the surface but underneath it’s a pit of chaos. I won’t be surprised if they have a lawsuit soon for discrimination of children or endangerment. It’s only a matter of time. We will NEVER go back and several of our friends won’t either.
