This has quickly become our favorite coffee spot since moving to the area!! Great people doing great things.

I cheated on you guys yesterday and it was the biggest regret of my life. I won’t name the business but yall who work for bald money can probably guess who it was. I also left a review on their google, and then was asked to take it down because it was negative. After I was guilt tripped and refunded for my bad service at the other place I realized I’ve never person left a review of my favorite coffee shop. And I’d personally rather leave a positive review for you than a negative review for them. I moved to Charleston in 2021. I was unfortunate to not be able to even know bald monkey existed until 2023. You guys have been my rock through a lot of shitty times in my life included but not limited to a quick counselor while ive been going through my divorce, sweet and caring towards my two little kids who are both so excited whether we go through the drive thru or inside with the amount of suckers Stoney gives them. Or my little boy wanting to flirt with Michele 😂 and just how amazing you guys are at making coffee. The coffee always exactly what I’m looking for, even when I don’t know what I’m looking for. Between Stoney, Melisa, Michele, and everyone else who I forget or call the wrong name I just greatly appreciate how welcome you guys have made my kids and I feel. I’m sad to be leaving Charleston in the next few months, because honestly I’ve never had this great of service and coffee anywhere else. But I’ll be telling my friends in Oregon if they are ever in the Charleston area it’s a great idea to make the drive to goose creek just for Bald Monkey.

They always remember our order and even give our son a treat whenever we go there! My fave coffee shop by far!

I was stationed at Joint Base Charleston about 8 years ago now. And I never forgot how good this coffee place was. I recently got a chance to finally revisit charleston, and the first stop for coffee was here! I highly recommend the cinnamonkey.

Lovely coffee, tried the cappuccino and black coffee it was smooth. We tried the chocolate and the croissant and kids loved it. The seating outside was nice especially the stone benches !!

Veteran owned, locally operated, family oriented, coffee shop. One of the places I enjoy going for genuine conversation and great coffee and pastries. Where the regulars look forward to seeing each other and welcoming to anyone that comes in or drives through. There is a real sense of community here. I would recommend this place to anyone. One of the guys or gals on the way to work, a mother dropping the kids off at school, college students looking for relaxing environment, or even an old timer out for a walk. Literally anyone who enjoys a great cup of coffee should stop by BMB.

Everything about this little spot looks great, the iced latte i got though, was terrible. Tasted like spoiled milk.

Locally owned and operated, so you KNOW they're going to take care of you. I came in with two young kids, and the staff was so kind to them immediately, making sure that they were entertained and taken care of so that *I* could enjoy my outing too. They were out of whatever food I was wanting, but I got there after 10am so kinda my fault for not getting there earlier since it's a popular place that will sell out of foods. I don't even drink coffee so I got a smoothie for me and the kids, and it was delicious! We sat outside on the patio tables, and the owner came out and chatted with us. He even opened the umbrellas for us so that we'd be shaded better. All around great customer service.

The best small business coffee shop down the street from my house! Veteran owned, community centered. The owners care so much about their customers and other small businesses around them! Coffees and pastries are always tasty and they have a convenient drive thru! Anytime I have guests come from Wisconsin they request we stop by it's so good!

In response to Ms. Corinthia Nunley; I was working on Saturday (the past 4 Saturdays, actually) and to be hit with vile accusations like this is sickening. Corinthia, we have cameras. We'd HAPPILY review all footage from your visit (if you actually visited) to confirm that you are lying. We *MAY* have been out of pastries depending on the time you visited as they're very popular and sell out quickly, but the race comment? You should be ashamed of yourself. You won't be, as you're lacking in morality as much as you're accusing us of lacking in pastries and paper towels, but you should be. **************** Whether you're buying their coffee by the bag, or visiting for your daily fix, you will not be disappointed!

What they have done and continue to do while dealing with the nightmare that is the “Red Bank Rd Project” is amazing. Consistently great coffee, service, and pastries all while dealing with their business being handcuffed by the road is amazing. Join them for a great cup of coffee.

One of the best Veteran/locally owned businesses in the Charleston area, and one of the best cafes specifically. Their drinks are all great, amazing seasonal options, food is locally sourced, atmosphere is great inside and out (their Halloween drive thru set up beats most houses...), and they have deep respect and appreciation for their customers. I've never had a bad experience with any of their staff, which to me means they find and keep good people who believe in their cafe and treating people right.

The only place I will buy coffee from. Even if I have to drive 2.5 hours to get it. Best service I’ve ever had, best coffee I’ve ever tasted (let’s be honest, who doesn’t like the taste of bald monkey)? All around best people to be around. Love these folks and will be back soon for more.

I absolutely love going here to grab a coffee. Everyone is super friendly and one time my granddaughter was with me in the backseat and the owner stuck his head out and spoke to her then went back in the window for a few minutes and returned with a new Barbie Doll for her. She was so excited!!! I was in shock myself! I thought that was the sweetest thing and she was thrilled!

Hands Down my favorite local spot. A MUST TRY for anyone new or visiting the area! The owners truly make this place special. The seasonal Dirve through, specialty drinks posted on Facebook, and Melissa & Stoneys silly morning Antics are everything you could ask for to start off your day right.

I don't get in as much as I'd like to but I always recieve great service and recommendations here! Nothing but respectful. When my mom comes to visit this is her favorite place for coffee. Wishing nothing but success.

Pay no attention to any negative reviews, especially from the ever hateful Corinthia Nunley as this person cannot be pleased. BMB is if not the best, at least one of the best coffee joints in the Charleston area. The staff always goes above and beyond, and you are treated like family. The owners are top notch human beings that will do anything for their customers and their community. Yo all of BMB.....keep doing what you are doing!

Best little coffee shop in Goose Creek! Full of really sweet people. Excellent coffee, delicious food, clean, reasonable prices, and always a fun crowd to be around! Very involved in helping the community, wouldn't go anywhere else for my caffeine!

Bald Monkey Beanery is an amazing company as a whole. Every time I step in or drive through, I have a great experience. They are so welcoming, they make everyone feel like a friend. I used to be a huge main stream coffee drinker (I won’t name names, but you all know the place), and there is something about having local love making my coffee that just taste way better, and I get way more for my money! Bald Monkey Beanery gives back to their community as well. Veterans supporting veterans is always good business in my book! Thank you all so much for keeping us caffeinated!

Bald Monkey is a GREAT place for coffee BUT also a community staple. I love getting my "Sexy 7" black but I love even more how much the owners do for the community. The service there is top notch! I avoid most places (chain restaurants/businesses) due to the lack of good consistent service. Bald Monkey is epitome of a small business making BIG things happen as part of a community.

Clean establishment and has an amazing atmosphere that feels both like a coffee lounge, but also homely. The staff are always friendly and I have noticed that people from all walks of life go there every day they're open. Delicious coffee, delicious Italian Sodas, and their pastries are huge and always outstanding. They are what quality means in a small business. Especially a business that has been plagued for years by the construction on the street blocking their costumers and causing all sorts of havoc. I love this joint, and go whenever possible!!

I don't live in SC anymore, but when I was there, BMB was my favorite part of every day! Owners are amazing people and their coffee got me through working 7am-11pm every day between my 2 jobs! I regularly think of traveling back just for the coffee because nothing where I am comes even close!

My friend & I have to schedule time to check in & catch up.😯 We love meeting up here. There is always somewhere comfy to sit. My friend loves the smoothies (she's not a coffee drinker) and I love lots of their fun drinks like the butter beer & the raspberry cream soda.😋 Many running late to school mornings, I run through to get a coffee from Stoney and he always puts a smile on my face. 🙂 I always leave a few dollars so they can offer veterans a coffee or to help veterans in the many other ways they support our community. 🥰🥰

The servers was great and friendly. They helped me pick out a red velvet latte. It wasn't bad. The cinnamon roll was meh for me though. The filling was doughy compared to the flaky dough.

I Got a oat milk coffee, then two croissants for my kids. Everything was SOOO good! Will definitely be back! Also love the decorations they put up, so does my kids.

A great, local, veteran owned coffee shop! They also really care about their local community. They have given away diapers, baby formula and even Halloween costumes. It is a little hard to reach due to the road construction, but well worth the effort. Support businesses that support their own community.

Excellent!!! You must take the time to come here. The coffee is not bitter like Sbuck’s and other chain coffee spots. The ham and cheese croissant was delicious warmed and had a hint of a sweet taste. Will definitely be coming back here again and again.

I read some of the other reviews and quite frankly am a little confused. I kept reading about how the employees are so engaging, helpful and nice and how it is a great atmosphere, and the coffee and service are amazing. I have stopped here a few times, and have yet to experience any of those things. My drinks are always wrong, the service is awful, and the employees are rude.

The owners and all of the people they have working there are always so nice! The coffee is amazing! You won’t end up with the “burnt” taste that I’ve gotten a million times at Starbucks! I LOVE this place!

I came here because it was rated 5 stars and I was looking for something that wasn’t a typical chain. The coffee was good but they gave me the wrong size, plus my ham and cheese croissant was honestly pretty bad - too much bread, ham was hard and burned. Then on top of that, there is very limited seating in the place, and one table was covered in someone’s paperwork while another seat was taken by someone who works there but was just watching a movie. And the movie was highly inappropriate for a coffee shop. I don’t mind foul language or sex scenes, but when I’m in a public setting trying to do some work, it was incredibly distracting. Thank god I didn’t have my kids with me.

You can tell the owner has a service heart. Employees are all very nice and the coffee is the best I’ve had compared to any local coffee shop.

First time visit since moving to the area. Veteran owned and local! I ordered a hot Tuxedo, the equivalent of Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha. Definitely reasonably priced! All in all, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try and we will definitely come back!

I've had three coffees here all wrong. Was never refunded. At first I liked the coffees but everytime I went back they would make my order wrong.

Being late in the day 2:00 may have been an excuse. Croissants were almost edible, but not quite. Coffee was stale. Dirty.

ABSOLUTELY BANGING COFFEE. I'm big into coffee and this is a hidden gem in south Carolina. Staff is so kind and the quality of pastry and coffee is excellent. Priced less than ur corporate chain is a plus! With early opening Hours on top of it all... Its a win for me. My new spot!

First timer excited to find a non chain coffee shop!! I will be back to try the lattes Order a hot chocolate and a danish The hot chocolate needs work but warm and cozy on a rainy fallish day The cheese danish served warm without having to ask greatly appreciated and oh so delicious.

This local coffee place is the best! I have been a customer since it opened. I love watching it grow through the years! The owners always have the best attitude and attention to details. I make it a point to stop by as often as I can for a delicious coffee and breakfast pastry!

I went in to Bald Monkey today (29 Sep) at 3:30 and they were in the middle of closing up early. They still let me come in anyways and order my drinks and were even so polite as to make them free of charge since their register was already closed. Even though I insisted paypal or cashapp these wonderful people would not take my money. They aLao explained that the road work on Red Bank has been shutting them down early for months and causing their business to suffer. This is an amazing Coffee Shop with great drinks and great atmosphere and I’ll be coming here once a week at the very least to show some support. You guys need to get in there as much as possible to keep this veteran-owned business open for years to come as it should be!

My wife and I are visiting from FL and stopped in and were amazed! The place is super cute, the service was friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the coffee was AMAZING!

Iced coffee extremely watered down as if it was sitting and ice was just added to it. No ma'am, no thanks. Definitely would like a refund.

The iced white chocolate mocha was delicious and OMG their cheese danish cinnamon rolls were absolutely amazing and I dont even like stuff like that usually!

I drive pass this coffee shop practically everyday on my way to work and finally decided to give them a try. My order was good and tasted fresh. The young woman who took my order was also pleasant and seemed genuinely nice. Will definitely come back to try other items from their menu.

I love this place. the coffee is so good and they always have diffrent things. the staff is friendly and fast. but what i love most about this place is the vibe. the owners are so fun and the place reminds me of my childhood. its like home. and my dad who passed away 2 years ago would have loved this place as he was a biker his whole life.

Amazing place to get your coffee fix. I’ve tried several different coffees and pastries from here and they are all great. The owners are really good people who are easy to talk to and care about their customers. They offer a frequent buyer perk as well. They support veterans and you should support them. You won’t be disappointed. I absolutely love this place.
