My wife and I enjoyed our drinks and the fire pit. The staff was very friendly, we’ll be back.

Great restaurant, the food tasted great, the portions were generous and our meal was very affordable The guacamole and pico were a bit plain but the rest of the food greatly made up for it.

Two stars because the staff were very nice. However, the food was not good. Ordered a quesadilla and it was literally covered in cheese with not much inside. No flavor. My friend had a steak fajita which lacked flavor and was too oily. Chilis has better food! Big disappointment.

I’ve been coming here for years and it seems to just be getting better. The staff welcomed us with smiles and the energy was high. The food was good and I always get the shrimp burrito. If possible try to sit outside it is a great location!

Super nice place!!! We was really hungry, we order burritos and tacos and that really hit the spot. Pablo, Priss and Paul give us a great service. And the restaurant got a great vibe.

This was very overpriced, the waitress was very nice and the best part. But that place gets you for every little charge. So I will be not back.

Really all about the location. Drinks are good. Service is not bad and it seems authentic enough. Would have loved to hear more Banda or Classic Latin music but the drinks were good. Tired calling a few times to reserve but no one answered. Their join waitlist feature said there was no line but we had to wait anyways. Chips were stale/cold and guac didn’t have enough lime. Steak tacos were really dry but my girlfriend’s lobster tacos were amazing. Would try them again but wouldn’t be my first my first choice.

Cute place in a busy and area of Shore Dr. Ogunquit ME. As I can't rate the food since I did not eat at the restaurant, I did notice may people seaming happy with their food. I went here for Drinks only. The staff and bartenders could not possibly do more to make you happy. The only thing was the wine or drinks really wasn't something special. I give them a 5 for service but only a 2 for drinks.

Really a nice place! Good food, beautiful terrace, good cocktails and impeccable service.

My wife has celiac and their website has many things listed as "GF," when actually, everything that is fried is cross-contaminated with breaded items, including the tortilla chips.

Don't skip over this place it's amazing. Try the fish and chips burrito.

My wife ordered tacos and only got two little dainty tacos that weren’t even an appetizer I ordered a burrito bowl and I’m pretty sure I get more for my money at chipotle food was OK definitely don’t think it was worth the money had to get nachos just to have some sort of fulfilling meal nachos are only the thing I would go for

Amazing atmosphere and friendly service! Reviewing from a vegetarian perspective, a long the meals can be made vegetarian with their beans and endless veggies that can be added to the burritos. I tried the Bean Quesadilla and it was delicious and truly fresh off the grill! However, their meals could be improved for vegetarians/vegans if there are tofu served in addition to their protein selections. This place is also busy for their drinks, so if you like to have a midday margarita, then definitely this place is for you!

This restaurant came highly recommended and it didn't fail! It was a great meal and the service was awesome! I'll definitely travel the 2 hours again to eat there again!!

The restaurant itself was cute. We sat inside but there was a gorgeous breeze coming off the water and a slight view of the ocean across the street. We actually ordered takeout from them first. Both my husband and I loved our meals.c I thought my burrito needed a little more meat, but the flavor was so good, it didn't bother me as much as it would've. A couple days later, we dined in with our kids. I ordered fajitas and MAN. Everything was perfect. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I don't know what kind of cheese they use, but it was super flavorful. The veggies were cooked and flavored nicely. The rice was "the best rice my husband has ever had". And the sauce-- I have no clue what they put in it, but I would happily add it to any and every Mexican dish I will ever eat. My husband raved over his surf n turf tacos and the fresh, homemade guacamole, too. It was expensive, but worth it. Next time we visit Maine, this will absolutely be on our list to visit again. I'll be dreaming of those fajitas for days 🤤

We were looking for something to eat after a day of traveling and this place definitely delivered! The wait staff was attentive without being overbearing which I always appreciate. My son actually ate the guacamole which was a first so it must have been good! My chicken tacos were super juicy and flavorful and my husband’s shrimp tacos were a good size.

I really wanted to give Bandito’s 5 stars but my burrito bowl was served cold yesterday. While the taste and food itself was awesome, for a $60 lunch I expect my food to be served hot. Overall I would definitely recommend giving this place a try, get spot to stop and get a quick bite to eat in downtown. Service was excellent and the restaurant itself was a little small but very nicely kept.

Not sure why this place has a 4.3 This was $17 No thanks.

Wow! One of the best burritos I’ve had in a year. Super flavorful, authentic cuisine. Generous portions, excellent service from Pablo. Beautiful outdoor patio in the sun. Very kid friendly. Will definitely come back here the next time we are in Ogunquit!

My friends and I ate here on our trip through Maine. I would say the food is about as good as you would expect Mexican food in Maine to be.. Not horrible, but was not that great either.

Very good Mexican food. The waitress was really nice with me and her service was impeccable. The front yard is also a really nice spot to have some Margarita in front of the bonfire.

Not a terrible restaurant if you enjoy Mexican. I'm not a fan. Had to try it out. Very small inside dining area. The outside is amazing! Has seating around fire pits and patio area. Friendly service.

I’d give this restaurant 6 stars if I could! The food was amazing. I’m a bit of a picky eater so I had the regular cheese quesadilla which is stuffed with cheese and grilled onions and was absolutely delicious. The rest of my family has a whole bunch of different menu items and enjoyed them all! There was very few leftovers because everything was devoured. The burrito bowls in particular were a big hit! The vibes of this place are incredible. It’s colorful and bright and definitely a fun place to come with friends or family. There are clean bathrooms. The servers were lovely and quick too! Everything was perfect.

Atmosphere outside is nice, inside smells so strongly of chemicals that I couldn't even sit inside, and instead sat out in the cold. Our waitress didn't check on us at all after bringing the food, and the food itself was flavorless and presentation was terrible. I ordered the fajitas with cheese, and the Tortillas were carelessly thrown on top, with no place to even move them to to make them. The cheese was stuck all over the bottom tortilla and essentially, it was a plate of fried up veggies, with a little chicken and inconsistently cooked rice. Extremely disappointed, especially given it was $23. I have made better at home.

Best chorizo quesadilla I’ve ever had! The service was amazing as well. I definitely recommend! And my dad really enjoyed the house margarita, if you’re into that type of thing.

We live just about 10 miles from here, love Mexican food and have never stopped here—-what a mistake on our part! Although the margaritas are not great, the shrimp burrito was fabulous; very flavorful, as was the shredded beef quesadilla that my wife enjoyed. Good service and a nice, traditional setting. We hope to stop by before they close for the season at the end of October!

The food at this establishment is the best Mexican food I have had outside of Mexico. Staff went over and above with service. The fire pits outside are a great idea and a fun experience for dinner.

Just had my first meal at Banditos and I was totally blown away by the courteous, helpful staff and the most delicious Mexican food I have ever tasted. So wonderfully satisfying! I will return again whenever we visit Ogunquit. Muchas Gracias to the everyone I met today at Banditos!

Great spot. My wife and I ordered the loaded nachos. She kept eating all the nachos that were loaded with cheese, beans and meat etc, leaving me with just plain chips. I like it here because there’s a rule that basically says one person can’t eat all the loaded nachos. Once she saw that, she started sharing more. Margaritas are great too.

Arrived at 21:25 on labor day week-end and they told us they were not taking people anymore because a group of 25 persons were waiting to be seated, while they were closing at 22:00, very disapointed!!

Love the authentic mixed with coastal options here! The guacamole was spot on, slightly chunky and so flavorful. I had a taco trio, shredded chicken, steak, and carnitas. All phenomenal!The dragonfruit margarita was also delicious. If you can't snag a seat outside the front porch is great too.

My wife and I came here for dinner tonight and absolutely loved it. From their delicious margaritas to the burrito and tacos, everything was delicious. We had an amazing view looking out their front window. We shared the chips and guacamole which was super chunky and delicious. 100% recommend checking this out. Another one of those Ogunquit gems that we discovered too late in the season.

So this is very overpriced, small portions mexican food in an expensive area. Now if you don't know good mexican, you'd think this was good. But I know good mexican and I am ashamed I paid what I did for what I got, for as long as I had to wait to both enter and eat. This is the first mexican restaurant I've ever been to that charged for chips and salsa. Disappointed.

Small but cozy restaurant. Waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. We were a party of 4 and everyone loved their meals. 4 stars for the atmosphere only because the outdoor table was a bit small for 4 people. And the chair was uneven and I nearly tipped over. Otherwise outstanding experience.

Food was ok but there was dearth of meat in burrito and in the fajitas. It was like where’s Waldo trying to find it. Hibiscus margarita was tasty and waitress was friendly but didn’t see her much. I’d pass on this one if you considering it.

Had much better meals in the past. This time was off. Even the drinks seemed weak. They didn't let us switch out corn Tortillas for flour ones. I'm not sure why that was a big deal unless the food isn't made to order.

Food was not bad, I just think it's a bit overpriced for Tacos. Friend and I had both gotten the traditional tacos for $24 ($12 ea). Tacos are standard size and come with no sides (got take out so had no chips). If you don't mind paying more, then it's probably fine. I'd give like 3.5 stars if I could.

Loved this Mexican restaurant. We each started with a Bandito Skinny margarita with some guacamole and chips. The margs were excellent... not skimping on the tequila. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful. For entres, my wife ordered the Mole Chicken Enchiladas, which she does whenever she sees it. Although I was tempted to order the Mole too, I ordered the Fish Tacos since we were on vacation in Ogunquit, and I wanted to stick with seafood. The fish tacos were excellent, but the portion was a bit small... two 5-inch shells with small slivers of haddock and other fillings... very tasty for sure. The star was my wife's Mole Enchiladas... 3 Enchiladas filled with shredded chicken with mole sauce on top. Fortunately for me, my wife shared one of her enchiladas. We both agreed that this was probably the best Mole we've tasted yet. Bandito's will definitely be on our list of restaurants whenever we are in Ogunquit.

Food was spicy. Something about the food didn’t really give me that authentic Mexican taste, but it wasn’t bad at all. My waitress was a spacehead. I gave her $60 for my $37 bill. This fool returned with a 20 and 2 bucks… that’s what she gets she only got a $2 tip. If I wanted to give you $40 I would of. Was trying to make change to give her a bigger tip but I guess she didn’t put 2 and 2 together.

I'll start with what we enjoyed; the margarita on the rocks was great and exactly what I wanted, the guac and chips was yummy, the decor was great and the service was very friendly! Our food had mixed reviews: I created my own burrito bowl with fish, rice, black beans and some other toppings. Unfortunatley, the fish was cold and completely flavorless. My daugher has the kids' tacos with ground beef and also said her protein was flavorless. My husband had a burrito bowl with the pulled pork and other toppings - he said the protein in his bowl had a decent flavor. I added salt and lime to my fish, but that was not enough to make it edible so I left that behind. If we were to go back, I think it would just be for the drinks and guac and chips.

One of the best Mexican places I've been to in a while the food took awhile due the kitchen being backed up but overall I enjoyed the food here.

The Bandito never lets us down, great food, burritos out of this world! Sangria is the best I ever had. The service and atmosphere are top-notch. We never miss a visit or two or three when we are vacationing in Ogunquit! Keep up the quality food and hospitality!!

I hardly ever write reviews, but the food and drinks at Bandito are awesome. I would 100% recommend. After a few bad meals in Maine we were skeptical but decide to try Bandito due to all the good reviews. All the good reviews are right, the best place in the Ogunquit area for an excellent meal. The drinks are on point as well.

The best margaritas in town period, with delightful service and a really pretty garden deck. My wife and I went there everyday of our getaway and will be back next time!

My mom and I both ordered burrito bowls. She ordered an existing burrito as a bowl option, and I built my own bowl with black beans, rice and lots of toppings. Very tasty vegan options and nice outdoor seating! Staff was very friendly and accommodating!

A great experience enjoyed by everyone. Everything ordered from the mezcalritas, nachos, fajitas, and enchiladas was authentic tasty and served promptly by our friendly waitress. Reasonably priced, casual atmosphere and perfectly located. Would highly recommend.

I would like to point out first that bandito is English spelling for the correct word bandido in Spanish. So they do no sell traditional Mexican, but Tex Mex in both name and food. Drinks were good and location is design well. But even though they have label vegan in their menu, they could not accommodate for our party with vegan and dairy free members. So they do not have vegan options (Mexican restaurants always can accommodate for vegan). We unfortunately had already order drinks, so we finished those and left

We chose Bandito's for dinner during our week in Ogunquit. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't eat on their cute patio with a fire pit. The indoor area is cute and festively decorated as many Mexican restaurants are in the US. Our waiter was polite and attentive throughout our meal. I did make one request that was not honored. I asked for "Christmas Sauces" on my enchiladas, a New Mexican term for including both red and green sauces on the meal. He said that they didn't allow this and that I had to pick just one. I don't blame the waiter for this policy, but it should be changed. Trying a bit of both makes a meal better. I had beef enchiladas with green sauce, which the waiter indicated was a bit more spicy than their red. I chose refried beans as my side, plus rice. It was all excellent. If I were to return, I'd ask them to spread the sauce over the beans and rice as well. For what it's worth, the refried beans are vegan and this meal was gluten free. Having GF options on the menu was one reason we chose this restaurant as I have an allergy. I had this meal, one of my wife's fish tacos (delicious), and our starter of chips and guacamole without negative reaction. We also had two rounds of their El Jefe Margaritas and they were very good. We would return to Bandito's, hoping to sit outside next time. And we would recommend this restaurant to others.

This is our first stop every time we visit Ogunquit! Absolutely amazing, consistent, and delicious. Service is always outstanding and friendly. Sitting outside is always lovely. Stellar margaritas (especially the spicy one). Don’t miss out on the Nachos - the best we’ve ever had… and the fish tacos are perfect!
