This establishment offers a delicious grilled pork sandwich that keeps us returning for more. During our most recent visit, we also sampled other menu items alongside the Banh Mi and were pleased with them. The Vietnamese coffee was particularly robust, just the way we prefer it.

Their pork sandwich made me see angels. I thought it was just gonna be aight but now I’m rethinking my whole life for the better. Thanks Banh Mi DC.

Food was pretty good, inexpensive. So much to choose from. I wanted to order everything. There was many things to buy besides the sandwiches.

Been going here for years. Have eaten a lot of other Banh mi. However, this place is absolutely the best. I won't really eat banh mi anywhere else. I don't go as often now, because the prices are too high. Not only prices go up, it used to be buy 5, get one free.. now buy 10, get one free. Now because of price, I don't buy 5 at a time I buy 2, and instead of once a week, it's more like once every 3 months as a treat. If you want great banh mi, this is the only place to get it, no dine in, all take out. Btw.. their Taro Boba is the best I had, anywhere.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The staff was so so nice. They took the time to explain things to me and walked me around the store pointing out things that I might like and telling me how to eat them. The food was absolutely delicious. I am do thoroughly impressed by this place, I will absolutely be back to try more food out!

Known as possibly the best banh mi in all of Northern Virginia, Banh Mi DC Sandwich certainly delivers if not at least comes pretty close. The sandwich comes in a crunchy yet fluffy French bread roll, the meats and veggies are fresh, and if you get the #1... you'll get the quintessential pate. The service here is pretty fast. The atmosphere feels like you're transported far away to the east, casual and bustling.

They charge extra for credit card users. Food is mediocre; coffee is horrible. Two skinny banh mi(s) + two 8 oz. ice coffees + extra credit card charge = $30 Hot tip: Go to Eden center

Banh Mis and bubble drinks are good. Prepackaged foods are ok (too much food coloring in some, etc.). Service is efficient. A solid choice for locals.

Banh mi is good but if you order to go, put the vegetables in separately, they just put 2 slices of meat in the sandwich with a little butter and pate. Less quality than the regular one.

Over price and food taste flat. The pork bun is the only thing taste good but $4.

This place (IMO) makes the best classic vietnamese sandwich 🥪 (#1 on the sandwich menu) within the area. I've tried several different places offering the same sandwich, they're good but I always come back here. It's take out only but I always end up eating one in the car cause I want it when it's freshly made. They used to have buy 5 get 1 free but since the pandemic & the rising cost of food, it's now buy 10 get 1 free. They also offer Boba drinks & a hot plate menu. You can also buy prepackaged food located in the middle of the store. Along the counter tops is an assortment of homemade jerkies, salted plums, other homemade goodies, sauces & seasonings. They offer the bread for the sandwiches but those go pretty fast & it's 1st come 1st serve. Service is pretty fast. If you go here's what you do...walk in & make sure to ask if anyone is in line to order cause people will get mad if you cut the line. They will ask if you want all the veggies inside or outside the sandwich (veggies consist of: cilantro, pickled carrots & daikon, cucumber, sliced jalapeños). I get it all inside & my friend takes the jalapeños out. She likes alittle heat but can't eat them. They will hand you a yellow piece of paper with a # at the bottom. That's your order#. You can either stand by the pickup counter or browse around the store. Onve they call your # you had them the yellow paper. Make sure you have all of your order. I walked out once & found I was missing 1/2 my order cause it was at the other counter. Sandwich pickup is at the left, hot plate & drinks on the right. Then go to the car & enjoy.

Food is always good. My sons and I really like the food.

rude service, prices are not indicated clearly and they charge people more than what the prices supposed to be. Prices are getting higher and qualities and quantities are getting worse and ways smaller. I see flies and rat dropping around the walls. Never come back again!

Ok... so I've been coming to this place for over 15 years and I have to drive over 50 miles or one hour to get those delicious Pork BBQ sandwiches and I'll do it all my life is possible.... they are just delicious.

They always run out of the best meat for their sandwiches. So not only did I not get what I preferred, I got a crappy substitute (don’t get the combo bahn mi). Then the lady calling my number called 39 and walked over to me, pointed at my receipt which clearly read 35, and repeated 39! 39! 39! And handed me my sub. Okay, fine. I had a little laugh with o other customer about it. I walked over and picked up my drink, only to have that lady laugh at me and say, “I called you a long time ago” and give me the most condescending look while LAUGHING AT ME. (Maybe 45 seconds had passed since I ordered?) Super fun experience. Do not recommend unless you like to be humiliated for things that you didn’t actually do wrong!

We pre-ordered a mix of Banh Mi Sandwiches and Spring Rolls for 35 people and followed their advice to have the jalapenos on the side. The food was delicious and promptly available for pick-up. They even called us that morning to confirm whether or not we wanted the rolls on a tray. The cost was much lower than any competitor and our guests said that the taste was better, too. This business should be everyone's go-to spot and it is a perfect choice for upcoming pool-side meals.

They have the best banh mis in the DMV area at the best prices with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options, and they make the bread in store. It's so worth the drive from DC, and my partner and I will often grab some before we go hiking in Scott's Run on the weekends. The vegetarian ham bahn mi is my go it's so good.

Place is busy on the weekends, make sure to call ahead or be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes. This place is worth waiting in line and the rest of the town agrees! Great food authentic best banh mi in the area. Egg rolls here are spectacular

Lots of options, but ambivalent customer service. The owner didn't care to engage or answer questions. Their vietnamese fried dough was the best in the area. Light, fluffy, sweet. When they were hot out of the fryer, they were really good. Bring cash or pay convenience fee for using a card.

My first time here. There were many options that I wanted to try. "Kim" was so nice. She made some recommendations. She suggested the #2 Pork and the Chicken one and a Coconut smoothie. Everything was good inside both sandwiches. The bread was not good. Which is very important. A bit disappointing in my opinion. The smoothie was tasty.

Exactly the vibes you get from a typical Vietnamese bakery/takeout place. I love it. And these Banh Mi are probably the best in the DMV. Not only best, but most affordable with more generous than other places with their fillings like meat and veggies. I can't stress enough how often I crave their stuff and I'm Vietnamese who grew up eating these, so you'd think I'd be tired of it by now.

A staple location for Vietnamese sandwiches. Amazing quality, generous portion, and extremely quick service. They have a Buy 10 Get the 11th one free” deal. Only down side is the high service fee if you choose to pay by card (35¢ per $10).

Got 10 number 1 banh mi sandwiches. They added a free one. Sesame balls were good. The pate was like butter. Worth a little detour from 95S travels back to Hampton Roads.

My favorite bahn mi place I have been to. Very worth the price. Keep in mind there is no seating inside though so it's purely for take out.

I use to work at a popular Banh Mi restaurant in North Carolina. It was great, but as far as toppings and meats it was very accommodating to the western palette. Now this spot is more original to how a Banh Mi is made. Those other “Hip” Banh Mi restaurants marinade their chicken, pork, beef in fish sauce and/or KBBQ sauce and a lot of sugar. If you appreciate REAL Genuine Banh Mi come here. I know I do

No Dine-in. They need to update that on Google. Sandwiches are pretty typical for Banh Mi. Nothing mind-blowing. If you've had Banh Mi before, you know what to expect. Wish they would heat them up though. Reasonable prices. They charge fees if paying by card, so bring cash.

This is one of the worse banh mi ever, I called in yesterday to order beef sandwiches when amd the meat was cold and sour, this is definitely not beef and not fresh. It was so bad. The worse beef ever.

The bread and vegetables were fresh but the chicken and tofu lacked flavor. Definitely had better Banh mi sandwiches. The egg roll was just okay.

Their egg rolls were the closest to home cooking that I’ve had in 22 years away from home. I saved some my husband and reheated/air fried them 3 hours later and he was impressed too. The banh mi grilled pork was not what I expected. The meat was lemongrass flavored which was nice but I couldn’t figure out what cut it was, it wasn’t firm…. I was expecting slices of meat. And it was food colored pink, which I’m used to if you get bbq pork but not grilled pork. I got my husband the chicken banh mi and it was full of meat. The bread is the best and closest to what I had as a kid in San Gabriel Valley.

The food (sandwiches) is good, but service is pretty terrible. The atmosphere is a local asian grocery store, so not really a place you can sit down to eat (and wasn't meant to be). While waiting for my food, I was watching how they made the fruit smoothies. Pretty gross. The lady literally took fresh strawberries out of the crate, cut the stems off, and threw them into the blender. She was grabbing them with her bare hands (without washing her hands or the strawberries). I would definitely not get fruit smoothies from this place.

The banh mi doesn't taste good here anymore. Quality has really gone down: the pickle is definitely not fresh and I've eaten my fair share of pickled daikon and carrots (it has gone bad, smell like alcohol & over fermented, no sweet sour crunchy taste. It tasted rotten, so I had to take it out). I ordered 2 and one was the wrong sandwich (I should have checked right away, but I forgot and was already on way the way home, so that was partly my fault). I didnt even know they charged you extra for putting the veggies on the side either (that was a surprise). Overall, the people there were decent, but the banh mi quality has really gone down compare to pre-2020. Really sad, cause it was so good before😞😕.

I was traveling through and decided to stop by for a couple of banh mi. I got a combo banh mi and the grilled pork banh mi. The bread was fresh on the day that I went, which was a good thing because there was more bread than fillings. The entire banh mi was lacking flavor. There wasn't an umani flavor that came through nor the sweet and sour crunch you'd expect from the pickled veggies. These were the most bland banh mi I've had in a while up and down the east coast. Their 3 color che I got was also disappointing. No coconut flavor, just all artificial and overly sweet. I also got their flan. It was very watered down and bland as well. The steamed pork buns are the only thing I'd recommend. They were hot and had good flavor to the meat. Their dough is on the sweeter side. I'd pass on place next time I'm in the area.

The banh mi is always top notch. Worth driving the extra distance for lunch. Much as changed since the pandemic, Banh Mi DC however is a good as always!

Great little market/deli. The bahn mi's are great. This place adds a reasonable amount of pate AND mayo to their bahn mi's. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was that of a bahn mi shop that knows what they are doing. The only thing to note is that this place prefers cash transactions over card and will charge you a little extra if you decide to use the card. I'm assuming to cover the vendor fees associated with using a card reader service.

Best Banh Mi in Northern VA. The wife and I order 10 at a time to eat through the week with our homemade pho. We do wish they had more beef options, but the sandwiches are so good I wouldn't even considered knocking off a star for that. I highly recommend this place if you love Banh Mi.

Banh Mi DC is smaller than it was before about 20 % and less crunchy . The sandwich is not as good as before. The price has updated for a while . Each sandwich is 6.95 plus tax . Now you have to buy 10 sandwiches in order to get one free . Payment in cash extra charge on credit card

This has always been MY FAVORITE #1 BANH MI place in the entire DMV area! The Banh mi is so crunchy, combining with fresh vegie, pickled veggie, and well-seasoned meat, what an amazing combo. I usually go with Banh Mi Thit Nuong (grilled pork), and my spouse usually has his Banh Mi Dac Biet (special combo 1). I tried Banh Mi Bo Nuong (grilled beef) as well, very good, but the grilled pork is still my all-time fav here. However, the price definitely goes up faster that I have expected, but it is still an overall affordable option for a quick meal.

This place used to be my favorite (and only place) to buy banh mi! I recommended the place to many of my friends. After today, that has changed completely. I went in early to buy 5 grill pork banh mi. The cashier was on the phone while taking my order. By the time I received my banh mi, there was only one. Turned out that she charged only 1 instead of 5. So, she charged 4 more and i waited a little longer to receive my other 4 banh mi. I was in a hurry and didn’t check before I left (I didn’t have to so before). By the time I got home, I found out that I have 4 combined banh mi instead of grill pork! We don’t like combined banh mi! Banh mi are cold and not hot at all. So disappointed and not happy at all!😡😡

Got the old stand by chicken banh mi - good price (6.75) and quality is good though bring cash - you'll pay extra if you pay with a card. Many times better than subway if you want something tasty and fresh.

Well folks… I have no pictures to show because my family and I devoured the combination banh mi and the steamed pork buns in record time. They are really fast at making the sandwiches. They had them ready by the time I was paying. The have an island table with Vietnamese delicacies. I really wanted to but the sticky corn but I stopped myself since I already ordered two things for myself! Overall, we really like their food! There are no chairs or tables so this is definitely a take out restaurant. It didn’t matter to us as we finished all the food before we were halfway home.

The best Banh Mi sandwich in NOVA that we have been ordering from here for years. This time, we ordered the sandwiches with vegetables on the side. It would be nice if they added a little more meat.

Update on this place. Banh mi is much better if you go earlier in the day (before evening) as the bread is not stale. Would recommend this place though if you eat vegetarian (chay), this is a decent option too.

Order ahead for pickup (online orders subject to a $2 "convenience fee"), or plan to wait in line for about 20mins during lunch rush. I usually try to time my visits to just after lunch (usually minimal or no line), and order in person to save myself $2 and a 20 min wait. Not sure what that charge is about. Cash is king, so bring your Benji's, but they do accept credit. They have signs stating credit will be more costly, but to be honest I don't think they adjust accordingly (always charge you the higher price). I'm not going to haggle over the credit card fees, only their stupid online order "convenience fee".

The sandwich is fresh. They have lots of Vietnamese street food made and packaged here. This place is super busy. Their pork bun is decent. Spring roll was tasty with not so much meat in it but tasty. Their pate chaud is a French pastry with pork and resembles a croissant with meat on the inside. Supposedly it is supposed to have Pate in it but I'm not sure they make it with that much if any Pate. They have a fried sesame ball with mung bean inside. When bought fresh, it is delicious. They made it with just the right amount of mung bean and the texture is crunchy on the outside with a slight chewy inner layer. It is so good fresh if you happen to come right when they are done being fried. It is also just the right amount of sweetness. Not too sweet. The 3 color jelly drink is also delicious. As for their Vietnamese ice coffee, it is very good but also very small for the price. The bad thing about this place is that they want you to pay cash or you have to pay the credit card processing fee which is usually around 2% +/- 0.5%, but this place makes a profit out of it and charges you 4%surcharge so they also make a profit having you pay by credit card! What a rip off. Is there a law against doing this or something or some ethical dilemma for people to do this. Do they have a conscience? I'm leary of places that will only take cash payment because they can evade reporting their earnings accurately to IRS. They make a killing here and they are very busy, they should not try to profit from people paying with credit card, pass on the processing fee cost if you if you have to , but who does that, all businesses pay that, it's just the cost of having a business. But making customers pay another 2% above what the processing fee is so that you can profit even more is just not right! I like their food and others do too so this is why they can keep doing this to people. They should stop doing this if they want to be ethical and be fair to their customers and show their customers some appreciation.

Food is good but dang.. all that fee they charge extra… credit fee, debit card fee(used to be no charge if debit used. Who carry cash around anymore??), vegi on the side is charged extra… It should be written on the menu though. Its not a whole lots but just the principal. Credit card fee for restaurant should be around 3-4% if I remember it right. So 0.35 for each $10 charged, that doesn’t sound right. Understand cost of everything goes up but so do their prices. Just hate the hidden fee. And there’s no price tags on the products, they just punch in fast, there’s nothing clear on the receipt which makes me more irritated.
