Lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere

I ve been coming this place over a year. I mainly use cold plunge and super pleased with results. It halps my diabetese abd stress alot. I usually stay 45-60 minutes which is quite long. I come this pkace 2-3 times a week . Its pretty adficting. Foods are awesone too.

Very clean and awesome place. It was a great time and I loved the Salo and Garlic.

My husband and I are newer to the area, and we have slowly been exploring and finding new places to enjoy. A few months ago, I suggested we try out Banya in Everett. We were instantly HOOKED. My husband is a big fan of the sauna and cold plunge, and I love the steam room. Everything is clean and very comfortable. The locker rooms are very clean, and the soaps and lotions provided are a very sweet touch. It took me a bit to figure this out, but they also provide plastic bags for all your wet clothing. The food is DELICIOUS, and we always get a big pot of rooibos tea with ginger and orange slices added in. The early bird price of $30/3 hours on Saturdays is a steal of a deal, and our favorite time to go, but even the evening prices of $50/3 hours is a good deal. The staff have always been wonderful and so kind to us. But also, Banya has an amazing group of regulars who have gone out of their way to be kind and inviting to us, and have taught us a lot about the traditional methods of Banya. For us, finding a "third place" has been difficult, but we love that Banya has started to feel like a third place. It speaks a lot about a place that they have such a large group of regulars who are also so kind and welcoming. We try to go to Banya at least a few times per month, and we plan on continuing to come back many times in the future.

I've been coming here for a few months, and every time it is a wonderful experience. The sauna is always hot, and the cold plunge is always a shock. The staff is always polite, and helpful. The food is great, highly recommend the borscht.

by far the best in Seattle area, if you complaining about the price just remember you get what you pay for, if you want cheaper entrance and not decent not GREAT service like here in Everett I would suggest go to Tacoma, they dont care as much about the place as the Everett. Masha and Katya take care of me and my group of friends everytime we come here Love it!

Cool experience! Authentic banya with sauna and steam room. Only recommendation would be to play different music other than pop as it takes away from banya experience. Otherwise great facility and service and would come back!

My friends and I really enjoy the early bird pricing on Fridays and Saturdays where you can stay for 3 hours for only $30 as long as you are out by 5pm. Both staff and fellow guests have been so friendly showing us the ropes of the facilities. We were also pleasantly surprised by the food, especially the home style potatoes and the dumplings. If you bring a water bottle, they will refill your water for free in the kitchen too. We will definitely keep coming back!

Banya is a wonderful place to go and relax or challenge yourself to some extremes. Their dry sauna is epically hot and their cold plunge is absolutely cold. I love all they have to offer but their steam room is probably my favorite of all the amenities. Their lounge and kitchen are very relaxing and the food is amazing!

Best Banya Experience in the PNW. They are very professional and clean. The banya is hot Everytime. The cold plunge is prickly cold. The amenities are high quality. The food is amazing! Definitely worth the price and your time. For my bachelor party my wife called ahead of time and requested that all the staff call me "king" during my time there and the staff obliged. It was a great time.

I went here once with my girlfriend and am now hooked on this place! We try to go at least once a month and try to bring friends. The food is delicious! Make sure and get kvass for the hot tub.

I’ve been here a few times already and I must say I’ve enjoyed every single visit. The facility is super clean, staff is always helpful, and the food has been delicious. It’s a great way to relax and unwind. The hot sauna/cold plunge is great for my aching muscles and the wet sauna has been improving my asthma. I always get a pot of herbal tea, which they have a large variety of.

My friends and I go here regularly! It's such a amazing experience. The saunas are VERY hot and VERY cold but you come out feeling so relaxed. The Banya is much more of a community hang out than other spas and it is so welcoming and fun. The staff are very kind and the food is great!

I typically enjoy the hydrotherapy pools at a different Banya in Seattle (not related to this place) but my girlfriend heard about this place from someone and we were sadly disappointed as it wasn't even close to being as good as the Banya5 (not related) in Seattle. Maybe I wouldn't have expected so much if I hadn't already been to several spa's in the area, and already gotten accustomed to the similarly named business in Seattle, but here is my experience at Banya in Everett; The price was a happy surprise as its slightly cheaper than most spas offering hydrotherapy, but the unwelcome surprise was the poor quality and appearance of most of the spa areas. The showers were barely adequate, not good shower heads and the water was lukewarm at best. And the rest of the locker room was small and NOT a great spa atmosphere. The steam room felt like I was at the local YMCA and never fully filled with steam. The dry sauna was the high point, but still not as good as in Seattle. And I cannot forget that there was only one song playing THE ENTIRE TIME over the speakers, which was on a loop of what seemed to be a 3 min travel video on a screen across the room, and it simply played the same loop over and over again. It was terrible and NOT relaxing. Lastly, they don't have available water fountains to use. Who the hell puts people through the high temps of a spa and doesn't provide a water fountain to refill water??! I don't know how this place is in business. I guess maybe Seattle is just too far a drive to experience the real thing, but we will never be back here.

Had an incredible Banya experience that truly stood out. The staff's professionalism was exceptional, and the facility maintained a remarkable level of cleanliness. Good, but overpriced. great parilka, good kitchen, borderline surly service. All that is fine. But entry without a reservation is now 55 bucks. Food is a poor value. I used to come here constantly. Now, I think I'll just end up building a sauna. I'll break even in a year or two.

I have been here a few times and the last 2 times they have charged me for food and drinks that I did not purchase and haven’t wanted to make things right. They have young kids working there that are incompetent and irresponsible and have terrible customer service. It’s a shame because it used to be the go to place.

I like the specifications! A hot sauna (stove style), and polar plunge that is almost freezing. No massages given here.

Very good facility but way too expensive. Banya should be maximum 25$. The pumped up price is normal for Americans but as an Ukrainian banya is a normal thing, not a luxury, so the price is ridiculous, and because Americans agree to pay such a high price it enables them to keep raising it. There should be Slavic discount, we don't have a Banya to go to without getting our pockets emptied.

Had a great time here with friends. I'd only been to the ladies' spa before, so it was fun to be able to come with couples and friends Everyone was really nice and relaxed. There is a hot tub and cold plunge. 2 saunas, one hot and cold. The hats they sell really help the heat in the dry sauna. Our friends were regulars- we followed their routine of cycling and brought jugs of water like they told us. You get lockers and can lock things at the front desk, but you can bring a small lock for the lo jer to keep your things secure. You wear a swim suit and they supply sandals for you to wear while there. My husband has a size 15 or 16 feet but they had sandals to fit him which away great! They have a central zone to hang out in that has a pool table and longe chairs- it connects to the restaurant area. The food was soooo tasty!! It has me singing, Da Da Da 😋! All in all- it felt like a vacation on a weekday, and as a parent of young kids, that's pretty great!

A little bit to know about this place. Bring your own padlock for the lockers. Only bring the bare essentials in terms of valuables. If you don't have a lock, the only option is to lock your purse and valuables in a tiny container in their safe (I don't trust this). Bring your own flip flops that are clean on the bottoms... they can't be dirtied from outside. Bring your own towel (bring extras) and bring your own robe. They are stingy on this. When you're at the front desk, don't expect any people skills. It's probably a cultural thing. Blunt and borderline rude. You are paying a premium price without the premium experience. The lady up front is stubborn, but maybe someone else there can make some changes. A front desk person with some people skills and empathy would be a start.

best ukrainian food i’ve ever had (and i’ve had a lot!) the chef is a genius and i usually don’t like kvas too much but the one they made was amazing, amazing tea selection too. the facilities were great and very social. but the food… we can’t stop talking about it :)

The good: Nice traditional Eastern European style banya, clean facilities, friendly staff, and overall pleasant atmosphere. The food was tasty, and fresh. The so-so: We booked our reservation for 8pm, but there was not a single locker available to use for our group of 4, but that was not a staff issue as far as I understood, because the patrons were taking longer to leave. Regardless, we didn’t feel safe just leaving all our bags unsecured. The not so great: honestly everything was great in my opinion except for couple things: The food was expensive , especially for the small portion sizes. 15$ for salat olivye with the tiniest portion, in my opinion is not justified, nor the 15$ veggie sampler which was just pickled onions, cabbage, and cucumber drowned in sunflower oil. If money if not an issue, then it’s definitely worth it, especially if you have not tried Russian/Ukrainian cuisine before. The Borscht was amazing, and I enjoyed the smoked trout as well, which is priced at $45. (Full sized trout, sharable for 3 people easily) And lastly, the wait. It was unusually busy, so I’m not trying to be too critical , but Friday evenings I’m assuming are busy normally anyways, and yet there was only 1 server for the entire place, waiting on maybe 20 people and 8-9 tables. It took about 15 minutes just to order, and another 45 minutes to receive the food. Maybe consider having some backup staff on busy nights. Just an idea. Other than that we had a great time. Banya has amazing benefits for skin, breathing, circulation, and overall well-being. One thing to keep in mind for non-Russian speakers, nearly everyone there will be speaking Russian don’t worry they aren’t talking about you ;) everyone there seemed friendly and open. I wanted to take a star off because of the lockers and extremely long wait, but I had a great time so that outweighed the minor issues. Will be back again !

Previous owners had a much better menu in the kitchen but aside from that it's been an amazing experience like always. I've been going for years and have no plans to stop! Pro tip! Bring your own water!

Great place! We spent 3 hours between banya and food, and we loved every minute on it. We went during the week, and it was super quiet which was nice to enjoy and relax. Totally recommended.

Substandard place with awful customer service. They extort people. Stay as far away as possible. They hold others hostage by not letting them in unless their family doesn’t change ratings. So don’t pay attention to high star reviews. Correction: the owner says that they strive to provide “great customer service”. Well if that is the case, maybe you should have someone else in the check in/out process.

Extremely unfriendly bunch works there Half of facilities don’t work well Food tastes like microwaved previously frozen meals. RESPONSE to the owner: you sound not concerned that much about the customer experience. At least you are concerned about things not working…. Try get a steam in the steam room - that is cold and stinks.

Real Russian banya as it supposed to be. The temperature in parilka is what I have been looking for in the USA last 4,5 years. More than happy. My recommendation is to come close to the opening time—less people, more relax! Planning to come once a month now

I live in Seattle and have been a fan of Russian sauna for several years. This one is my new favorite - definitely worth the 45 minute drive. The things I like here: - The dry sauna is really hot (220F) and the cold pool is really cold. - They have a fantastic kitchen. I really liked the borscht and pelmeni. The kvass was amazing. If you try nothing else, get a pitcher of the kvass. Kvass is normally too sweet for me, but this one is perfect. - The music and atmosphere is calming and unobtrusive. - Staff are friendly and accommodating. This seems like more of a family run, owner-operated business than other more corporate spas I've been to in the area. - Venik platza is available whenever they're open. Other places I've been to only do this once or twice a month. - The other clientele tends to be quieter and more polite/respectful than other places I've been.

Banya is one of my favorite places to recharge my body and mind. The spa experience is amazing. The steam room is hot and has a lot of steam with an invigorating eucalyptus infusion. The sauna is very hot and nothing feels better than the cold plunge after sitting in the sauna for a few minutes. Their massage therapists are very skilled and I feel great afterward. Their cafe with authentic slavic food is a great change of pace and compliments the experience. I can't say enough about their friendly staff and terrific service! I feel relaxed, refreshed and well taken care of after an evening at Banya. I recommend this to everyone I know. Thank you for providing this unique experience.

Hot sauna and great Russian food. The staff is helpful, the place is clean. Last time we went the steam room and the jacuzzi were not working. As well as the TV. Probably due to Covid cost cutting efforts. Otherwise would give 5 stars.

I love this quaint little banya 💜 A number of years ago was my first experience with a Slavic banya and I keep going back! I’ve tried a number of other local options such as Q Sauna, Olympus Spa, Banya 5, all are nice for sure, but this Banya is my go to. It’s so nice to be able to go with friends and not feel like we have to speak in whispers as though we are in church :)

Been going here for years if you want an authentic banya experience this is where you want to go it is on the pricey side as well as the food but well worth it great place to unwind, relax and detox your body.

Great spot. Good Russian food and beer to go with the baths. I felt that one woman staffing it was unfair to her and to her customers in meeting the response time to attend the front desk and serve food and drink. I'd happily go back.

Great place to spend time with friends

Place definitely has nice "parilka" - very hot which is rare these days (because of health liability concerns?) They also allow "venik"s which I have not seen anywhere else. It takes a lot of effort to clean leaves. Another plus is beer and basic food for sale. That's it with pluses. Minuses You have to give away all valuables at the counter, the lockers don't work, they're crazy old. Two small towels is all you get, no gowns or anything else. One small hot tub, too hot to be comfortable, almost nobody uses it. One cold tub too cold to be comfortable. You can definitely jump there after hot room, especially if you did everything right. But then you have to go out quickly. A bit warmer "cold tub" would bring more fun. Or they could have another one with middle temperature. The temperature in the main area is on the cold side, and cold small steel chairs are not relaxing in any way. Finally, coed nature of the room adds requirement to wear swimsuit. Overall there is nothing relaxing and spiritual, but rather down to earth practical. Come in - warm up in hamam- go to hot room-jumo into cold tub - sit for a while on awkward bench till cold - repeat. Might get beer or soop after. Price is not really important for this kind of adventure but still: Venik plus two admissions total to $126 after taxes Beer and soup for two would add another $40 Parking structure conveniently located within a minute of walking.

This is a wonderful Eastern European spa. The cold pool is just amazing when combined with the steam room. The kvass is excellent. Highly recommend giving this place a visit if you've got any aches or pains.

We went for a couple massage and it was very good. Overall stuff was very friendly and nice. Food was great, especially smoked trout. Some remodeling would be nice though, especially in the massage room. It was cold in there.

The facilities are perfect as long as you're not expecting fancy. It's everything you want service wise and the food is incredible.
