A perfect place to read and study quietly without anyone bothering you

Sunset Mall has only a few stores left open. Barnes & Noble being one of them. The Cafe is still working. Visiting an empty mall is an introspe tive experience. Try it before the mall is brought down.

Terrible store. I came in 5 minutes before closing and they did not let me in. I understand there are closing hours, but I do work 6 days a week, 13 hours a day, so at the very least it should be a precise schedule. Expensive books as well, more than twice the price of amazon, on average. A book with less than 300 pages should not be 22 dollars when it costs 8 on amazon.

This Barnes & Noble has a really great selection of items, and I just visited while they’re in the middle of moving everything and expanding some sections. I love to visit this location to walk around and talk about books with my friends—and it’s hard to leave without a stack under my arm! Dominic went above and beyond to help my friend and me find a K-Pop album, even though they were very close to closing time. Even at their busiest, there are members of the staff here (like Dominic!) who are extremely personable and helpful. Great place to spend an afternoon!

It's south miami classic gem. Glad it's till open . Went there as a teen and now I take my teen there. Too bad it's not open later.

A 2-floor Barnes & Noble with a fair amount of space and selection of books and other knick knacks available; it's a great place for browsing books and there is a café on the 2nd floor. It can sometimes seem really empty on the 1st floor if you need to check out, but the 2nd floor is usually pretty active.

This place is so pretty and clean. It has a very good Starbucks and theres a collection of Harry Potter , Friends and other popular tv shows books and movies you can buy. It has two floors and everything is labeled and organized. You can sit here to read what you buy and my favorite part is that you can ask the lady at the front for location of any book or preorder it. The starbucks they have doesn’t takes starbucks membership code or gift cards.

Excellent place, very clean and very attentive staff. I go with my daughter who loves the atmosphere of the place in general although her favorite section is where the Cocomelon books are displayed

I ordered a book through the automated system and everything is fine, spacious and you can have a coffee. Every day finding a bookstore becomes more difficult. Good place to buy and enjoy a latte, Libraries are a treasure.

Love that there are still bookstores around. There is nothing like physically holding and feeling it in your hand. One book had ripped paper instead of cut. It was nice to be around all of the books. Books are portals to other worlds. It's definitely a place for the whole family to roam around and enjoy.

I love Barnes and noble. My only knock against this on is that it closes so early. I get that sunset isn't what it used to be but still I wish it could stay opened longer. But aside from that I love it.

Love that this Barnes and Noble has stayed open in Sunset place. It's one of the only surviving places. And people should go support it. They have a great staff and incredible inventory of books at great prices. It has a Starbucks in store which adds to the comfort and convenience.

Really great book store that has a lot of variety. My wife was ecstatic to go in and pick up a book she's been really wanting to read. It took a few minutes to find where it was. Thanks to how books are categorized, she found it easily when paying attention to that. The manga section is extremely robust in variety too if you're into that. Bonus points for the lady at the checkout saying she liked my wife's henna.

Unless the middle school kids are around, this place is quiet and serene. You can delve into a book or get some work done through your laptop while enjoying your cup of joe.

The mall it’s located in is fairly empty but the size of this Barnes and Noble keeps me returning to this location. It has everything you need. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Large area for seating near the Starbucks.

This B&N was huge and carried a lot of stuff that my b&n usually doesn't.

Nice bookstore with so many books, but I like the one on Miracle Mile better.

I am a wheelchair user, today I went to browse books and I rolled in & I requested some help in the door because I am unable to open the front door. As I was waiting for someone to come by, I asked this couple to please open the door for me. I saw a lady who worked in the store watching me struggle to get in. She didn't even ask if I needed help. I took my time in the store' browsing the shelves. As I finished browsing, I asked the same lady to please get the door she asked me if I came with someone? I looked at her & told her NO. I again asked her to open the door. She kept asking me if I came with someone. I told her NO!! Again, I requested to please open the front door so I can leave. Nothing she didn't even budge. So, I just said in Spanish, a few bad words, and I rammed the door open with my chair. I'd like this lady fired. She was really rude to me.

B&N is an enchanted place!. This specific location is not as nice as others and the mall is having big issues after the pandemic, it is deserted. But, they care to stay in the area and keep the good job of giving us the chance to have books available. Thank you guys, please hang in there!

It's a Barnes and Noble. They sell books you can usually find cheaper on Amazon. It's the same as every other one in the chain. I took a star since their clearance section wasn't as good as others I have seen. However, it's fun visiting a book store.
