Basilico's Original Hand-Tossed Pizza in Wellington - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

It’s not hard to believe these guys have been here for so long. Seems like yesterday when they opened and they have been awesome through the years! This is the place to go for pizza if you live in the Wellington area! Not only is the pizza like home, with fresh ingredients, crispy and chewy crust and cooked to perfection, but the folks who work here are just nothing but amazing! Happy people work here! Ordered my pizza crispy with extra sauce and it came out perfect and, without asking, the ladies at the front gave me extra sauce to take with me! These folks the best! If you live in the area, or if you haven’t been to Basilico’s, make sure you get over there and enjoy their food! Everything is excellent! Enjoy!!

Ordered two pizzas, a couple of cannolis and a few tiramisus and we were bit disappointed. The pizza was as advertised and as good as previous reviews raved about. We definitely will be back.

I’ve lived here in Wellington for 11 years and I can’t believe that I didn’t discover this place sooner. The pizza was amazing and the garlic knots were really good but most of all the service and the owner were fantastic. I love pizza and at times I can be very picky. The atmosphere, the smell of the place and the food was so good and so memorable that I will definitely be making this a weekly pizza spot.

So I am writing this review after a disappointing experience that was completely turned around by the Management at this wonderful restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. Our favorite dish besides their pizza is anything Franchese but it's a 'specialty' and absolutely AMAZING!! The owner Sal is friendly, ethical and goes above and beyond for his customers to make sure they're satisfied. Five S*T*A*R*S* for this family friendly business that appreciates loyalty!!

This is some of the best Italian restaurants in the Wellington area. Not quite as expensive as the high end ones but the quality is amazing. The quantity is great as well. The pasta,pizza, and calzones are regular orders for our family.

We have been going here since 2018 and the pizza was always been amazing. But the last two times we have been disappointed. The pizza went from a flavorful dough, homemade sauce and a high quality mozzarella to a thin dough, canned sauce and a blended cheese mixture. I am sad that we will no longer be getting pizza here. It was $22 for a regular cheese pizza and a side of sauce (they now charge for a side of sauce) Disappointing when it wasn’t good at all.

Incredible!!! I have supported this local Wellington gem for years and although they are known for their outstanding New York style Pizza, their Signature Strombolis are absolutely Incredible!!! Hands down, the freshest and BEST Italian in Wellington. I am particularly addicted to their Eggplant Parmesan roll (stromboli) wrapped and baked inside their famous hand-tossed pizza dough and seasoned perfectly. From their delicious authentic pasta entrees, fresh salads (my #1 favorite is the grilled chicken caesar salad, to their Signature Strombolis, Basilico’s, located in Kobosko’s Crossing is Simply the Best! Basilico is a solid choice for pizza and subs in the Wellington area. With a Philly origin, this longstanding local spot has consistent food and service. As a Brooklyn guy, I think the pizza stands up to any in the area. Meatball, Chicken, and Eggplant Parm are all tasty. If you haven't been, check it out!
