Food is great, but 3 weeks in a row I tried to use the web site to order only to get to the store and be told the online ordering is down

Great food. My friends from AP assure me that this is the best Indian food in Delaware. I can't say if this is true or not but it certainly is delicious.

Ordered delivery through DoorDash. They left food out and couldn’t have cared less. They will just tell you to call DoorDash, not their problem. Food was average. Try other restaurants.

Absolutely the best biryani I’ve had in this area. It’s a shame. I never looked at it earlier because it had less than four stars on Google. Hands down the most tasty biryani and condiments. I even got a free Gulab German. Try the chicken piece biryani you’re not going to regret it. I ordered via Uber so I am uncertain what the place looks like from inside, but I’m gonna most definitely visit it soon. Looking forward to try the other dishes.

I don't understand why this place doesn't have a higher star rating. The service was personable, wonderful vegan options, tasteful food, and down to earth Sunday brunch atmosphere. Danyavaad!! I'll be back to share dosa with my friends :D

I ordered from this business on Uber eats. I was missing an item from my order. The restaurant did not contact me nor did they refund me for it. The menu did not indicate that rice was included with the dish so I ordered rice and ended up with two sides of rice. I found the chicken palak to be runny and not the quality that I have experienced at other Indian restaurants. Not going to be a repeat customer here.

If I could leave a NEGATIVE FIVE stars I would. I ordered online and went into the restaurant to pick up the order for my daughter. I’m standing at the register for two minutes while the woman and her husband are behind the counter, ignoring me. I said hello and told them my name and I ordered online. They ignore me. As I’m standing there one Indian gentleman came in after me and then people lean around me to ask him for his name and pulled his order and he paid while he was in the process of paying another. Indian gentleman walked in, and again I was ignored as they got the gentleman‘s name give him his order and they paid. I then provided them my name again the women rolled her eyes and walked away and I’m assuming was her husband got my food (Which was sitting there the entire time) never saying a word to me. I put in my card and paid and left. It was the most ignorant display of customer service that I have ever experienced! I will never go there again or allow anyone in my family to eat there. They are rude disrespectful people who run it. The worst part was there daughter was standing there the entire time learning from her parents how to treat people. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS THEY DONT SHOW RESPECT OR EVEN COMMON COURTESY!! I will post on every social media about this horrible business!

Very poor service. Ordered 2 biryanis, and it was about to be ready in 30 mins. After reaching there, I waited for 1 hour, still my order was not ready. Person on reception was not cooperative and didn’t responded properly.

When asked about the issue, Reception person said it's not an English restaurant... very funny! They are spoiling Indian restaurant's names. Even after that much delay food was not at all good.

I recently had take out at Bawarchi Indian Restaurant based from my coworkers recommendation and I must say, it was a very good. Their value lunch menu is a true gem, offering a mouthwatering array of dishes at an incredibly affordable price. One of the highlights of the lunch menu is the inclusion of naan and rice, which perfectly complemented the flavorful curries and tandoori specialties. I ordered the curry chicken and it was very delicious. Tender pieces of succulent chicken enveloped in a rich, aromatic sauce bursting with spices. The curry sauce is velvety smooth, infused with the warmth of ginger, the fragrance of garlic, and the subtle heat of chili peppers. The portion was also very generous. I couldn’t finish it and saved it for dinner. Atmosphere is good for what they have to offer, and the food was delicious. I will definitely come back.

10/10 recommend their Bezwada Chicken Biryani, it is one of the best biryanis I have ever had. My roommate is vegetarian and she always orders the raw jackfruit biryani, which is equally great. I have only tried biryanis from this place and they are freaking amazing, plus the spice level is pretty high too. They also give gulaab jamun with the biryani and surprisingly that’s good too. Great food for good price.

The food was good, but soooo spicy. We ordered mild spice, but it was still pretty difficult to eat. :/ Got the Aloo Gobi, Andhra chicken and boneless chicken biriyani.

I don’t really write reviews like ever but this food is seriously so bomb. Like for real whoever’s mom or dad was in the kitchen was throwing down….I doordashed the food so I can’t speak for what the restaurant was like inside or the customer service. But this is the best Indian food I’ve had in delaware. Got the lamb masala and the butter chicken. Portions are more than generous and one meal can be split into three. Thank you guys!!

Recently moved to the area and CRAVED Indian food. This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious!! My husband and I love getting takeout from here. Every time we go, we see DoorDash and UberEats drivers picking up. It’s a very popular spot to get your Indian fix.

We have ordered family pack but they gave little amount of biryani.

I always order food from Bawarchi but always these guys messed with spice level . However I told them to made medium spicy they had given me spicy food, I am well aware of spice level because I always order from them but for party orders they sucks , they can’t maintain spice levels as per customer demand . They said they will maintain and for most of party order they have messed up spice level for me … hats of to their consistency for messing up order is spite of being called them personally and given feedback about it …

Ordered again and this time the chicken must have been left in dum too long. This is how much chicken was wasted as you cant eat it - its too rubbery. Both times ordering theres too much pepper flavor in the Biryani, its still GREAT biryani with great flavor, but would be perfect with less pepper.

The cashier, a lady, suggests good items, and for first-timers, she assures that if the suggested food isn't good, it's on her, and she'll replace it for free. This confidence reflects their trust in their offerings. We tried Jackfruit and Panner Biryanis, they are good.

Ordered a Biriyani family pack. It was supposed to be for 2-3 people. I assumed it would be enough for 4. But it was enough only for 2 people. Biriyani was very ordinary. Nothing special or any flavor that you want to come again. Came here based on a recommendation by a friend. Probably this would be the last time I come.

Super tasty Indian food spot right off of 202 ♡ Bawarchi is nestled on the side of a shopping center with a small parking lot and easy-to-find entrance. The food was delicious 😋 I got the paneer that came with fried basmati rice, a curry sauce, and a small dessert. Very good prices for the quantity and quality of food ♡ They also ask your spice level and will adjust accordingly. I recommend getting anything with their Garlic Naan bread 🤤 Our cashier (and also food-runner) was very welcoming and talked to us at our table. Unfortunately, upon entering, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Sparce decor, blank yellow walls, outdated thick curtains and seating that I can only describe as "to-go pizza place" There is no music playing, just a flow of customers coming in for pick-up orders. I recommend it for the food and service but right now, only to-go. I hope the owner gives the interior a face-lift soon. It has potential to be a really welcoming, well designed space where many would stay and order more than I would getting to-go.

Not the best Indian food in the area but not the worst. I had butter chicken and also kulcha. My biggest complaint was the saltiness. I don't think my blood pressure will ever recover.

Use to be better but now the staff isn't friendly and the food comes out way to slow. .they need to move faster and hire some better people. So Pitifully slow, I find myself canceling over the half the orders I take from here or just not coming at all. I do somewhere between 25 to 30 deliveries a day for the restaurants in the area and this is by far the slowest and worst one, it's embarrassing. If 4 of those 25 to 30 restaurants make me wait 15 minutes a piece I lose an hours worth of pay. The delivery orders need to be done separately and have priority. The delivery drivers need to and MUST simply pick up the order and go OR , as close to that as possible. I know they may be some wait time in the business I'm in and I understand that but we need to minimize that as much as possible to 3-5 minutes or not at all. Holy crap, dunno how people eat the "hot" level of food. Medium was pretty damn spicy. It moderately priced and we each have at least one extra meal if not two.
