Ogunquit ME 8/25/24. The best Smoked Buffalo, deep fried wings & pulled pork nachos I have ever had! What an unexpected find. The atmosphere, food and staff was amazing.We hadn’t read any reviews or heard about it in advance. Our first time in Ogunquit and just wanted something inexpensive and quick..What a treat Tyrone our server was great as was the food.

Waited over a half hour after we were seated to order drinks. Chicken was like cardboard, and there was more sauce on the chicken than there was chicken... hmmmm. A little disappointed.

Great smoked meats! We really enjoyed the FireFries! Our server was super nice and had great recommendations! Kid friendly atmosphere with outside seating and a beautiful fire pit to watch.

Delicious BBQ brisket. Slow cooked. Homemade baked beans and cornbread to go with it. They give you a ton of beef too. Highly recommend. Also drink specials before 6pm. Great place. Service slow in the beginning but got better as we ordered everything we wanted in one shot. Will definitely be back.

We thought it might be a long wait but surprisingly it was only about 20 minutes. You have the option to get a drink at the bar and sit around their fire if you wish. The food came out pretty quickly. It was fresh, large portions & delicious. The servers were friendly & attentive. We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Ogunquit

Beachfire is always a hit, has been for the past many years since we first gave it a try. Now, it’s a must go every year we come to Maine, gotta at least have it twice within the week. Tonight was no exception to the greatness we have grown to expect, food and service was excellent. Our waitress, Abby, was amazing. She was super friendly and attentive, she was super down to earth and it made the whole dining experience that much better. Food portions are insane, you definitely get what you pay for, their smoked meats are amazing. Definitely recommend the pulled pork loaded nachos, they are heavenly. Definitely try this place out if you’re around! It’s well worth it! :)

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Lots of good food for adults and great kids choices. Server was great and friendly. We definitely left full.

this place is a never miss spot we are there at least 1 or 2 times every trip to Ogunquit can't beat the cocktails, service, never a bad choice on anything they serve have to say best wings you could ask for side dishes are fantastic pulled pork was done just right can't ask for better service food portions are enormous no skimping on anything & great pricing $ see you on our next visit

Our waiter was super chill and friendly with us even if the place was crowded that night. We dined outside by the fire, it was a great experience.

This place is all around amazing. Service was great, atmosphere laid back. Food portions are HUGE, delicious, and a diverse menu. It's worth the money spent. Only downside is a small parking lot for the area so if it's busy it can be tough to park

Excellent food and our waitress was outstanding. She was extremely good plus she had a wonderful personality. We had a blast and the food was delicious. Excellent place, highly recommend.

Unbelievable amount of steak tips with one order! Recommend the strawberry salad but the grilled chicken on top wasn’t great. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent with enough pork to make two sandwiches. Piled high! Corn bread was great but would have been better warmed. Sadly we would have liked the option of rice as a side - suggestion for the future:) Otherwise great meal and reasonable prices!

I am local so I come here all the time for takeout considering it’s pretty busy and I love it! The wings are so good, but my personal favorite is the Mac and cheese! The portions are huge which is definitely worth your money. Overall very great food here!

My burger did not taste like a beef hamburger should. It was very dry, cooked beyond the point of recognition and honestly it tasted like it was either a veggie burger or something other than beef. My sweet potato fries were overcooked, and our drinks were watered down. The server was helpful and got us new drinks. The outdoor seating was nice, but the bathrooms needed cleaning. Everyone else at my table enjoyed their entrée. I was greatly disappointed because I thought that a menu item named after the restaurant would be a signature dish that was juicy and flavorful. I prefer not to spend $20 on a burger that tastes like a hockey puck.

95 degrees out, and the huge firepit was blazing away!!!! Ughh. Made dinner super uncomfortable and left as soon as we could. We decided to only get a drink and appetizer since it was super hot. The nachos were great. Don't order a mixed drink. Maybe a new bartender?

Unfortunately there were thunderstorms forecasted so (rightly so) you couldn’t eat outside because it looked like a great place to sit with fire pits . But once seated inside in the back , it was so hot, and the lights were like spotlights, it was hard to enjoy our experience. The ac barely worked and we were admonished for opening the windows. My veggie burger was burned, and the cheese that it came with was non-existent . When I nicely pointed that out, the waitress said it did not come with cheese and would I like to add it. The two other people who got veggie burgers had cheese on them and they did not add it. And yes, the menu said it came with cheese. Sounds silly and petty, but it just added to an already mediocre experience. There was also an argument at the hostess station between a customer and the hostess that lasted for 10 minutes. Maybe it was just an off night, and it seems popular, but I won’t be going back.

One of the best places around for smoked food. Just about everything on the menu is phenomenal. The ultimate nachos are not only amazing and customizable but are incredible serving size, about the size of two meals really.

Limited parking on weekends. But tables got organized well.

This place had the worst hostess I’ve ever encountered. Insanely rude to my girlfriend’s father and a table behind us. Attitude, eye rolls, and just all around a miserable gremlin. It was unfortunate because the food wasn’t terrible, and our actual server was sweet. Also a shame this place seems to hate any type of service animal, so keep your dog at home even if you’re sitting outside!

Ordered take out, a simple burger on a gluten free bun with onion and fries. That's it. Didn't get the GF bun, the burger was almost raw and the fries were so soggy they were almost mashed potatoes, they also had a strange chemical taste. Meal went right into the trash, not driving all the way back. Been here a few times before and the BBQ is hit or miss. This will be the last time I order from here.

The staff were all friendly. The outdoor area is really nice, and the inside has a nice vibe as well. The food was fresh and the fries were perfectly salted. Even with it being fourth of july weekend, the wait was perfectly reasonable.

Boy does this place panic when it gets busy. The young Caucasian lady working at the host stand at 7pm on 6/19 was soooooo rude for no reason. I overheard multiple guests commenting on it. She really needs to learn how to deal with customers even when it's busy. We decided not to sit down and just order to take out instead. The food was good but much of the order was wrong :(

Would drive up to Ogunquit just to come here! We first visited two years ago during Covid and can’t stop thinking about it ever since. Visited twice this past week, amazing service, amazing food, and amazing drinks! There’s not a bad option on the menu. Great atmosphere with the beach right down the street.

Great place to drink and eat! There is a gas firepit in front of restaurant where you can have drinks while you wait for your table. We ate inside. The staff is friendly, experienced, and attentive. For meals we ordered: Mac and cheese with pulled pork (huge portion) a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, side strawberry salad, spice rubbed chicken wings, and a side of sweet potatoes. All delicious!! Portions are generous! Drinks are really good too!

I really didn't like it. French fries were a incredible mix of soggy and "hard" (weird, I know, but it was like chewing a hard and bad mashed potatoes). That "cheese" on top literally tasted like plastic. The other dish was the cheeseburger dip: spicy and ok serverd with a bag of tortillas. Not woth it. Maybe during the day... maybe and early dinner...

Food was a little overpriced for the quality, you can eat inside or out on the front area with picnic tables. We had a slow wait person. They knew we were there with friends but a few checks during the meal and waiting for the check would have been nice. Parking can be difficult for a large vehicle and on a busy night

This is an outstanding bar and restaurant. Staff are friendly and efficient, and there is the option to eat inside or outside by the fire pit. Cocktails are superb, the restaurant menu comprehensive and the food is delicious. We enjoyed their brisket and ribs and had several visits while staying in Ogunquit.

We ate here while visiting from WI and it was so quaint and had great ambiance. The food was excellent and were huge portions. Also, my husband needed a gluten free dish and it was delivered with no cross contamination! Would highly recommend.

This place is AMAZING! Most of the menu can be made gluten free. My mom has celiac disease & we’re in from out of town. She was so excited to have sweet potato fries for the first time in years. They also have several local options on draft that are wonderful!! The staff is phenomenal, our server Autumn was super sweet & down-to-earth, and the energy of the whole place was inviting & homey. Will absolutely come back at least once before heading back home!! Don’t be alarmed by the picture—- the food looked so good I forgot to snap a pic until I was halfway through LOL

I never post food reviews but I was so disappointed if I didn't it would be an injustice . 99 dollars for me and my wife ... brisket lacked any smoke flavor, fat wasn't rendered, tough n chewy .. 30 dollars for that disaster... my wife got mac n cheese with grilled chicken . Edible but very very flavorless . Grilled chicken tastes like a bland cracker idk. Then the smoked lobster.... never have I ever tasted something so off putting. It was legitimately horrible .. staff was friendly, atmosphere was good but food was honestly the worst I've had in maine so far

The service was fantastic, always checking up on us and very kind and respectful. The food had big enough portions to bring home for leftovers. (especially the chicken parm and fries). Big portions all over. Very packed so recommend to sit outside with the very nice fire pit. Not much parking if there is a lot of people. Overall would recommend.

The service and food were equally amazing. We had a fanatic dinner and our server was attentive and helpful. Not all bbq spots give multiple napkins and moist towels and I’m glad to say beachfire did. Some of the best wings we have ever had. Tempted to go back tomorrow just for those wings

Came to Maine and stumbled upon this place. The weather was cooler than we liked so we chose to eat inside. The blazing firepit and outdoor seating area did look inviting though. We were greeted quickly by the hostesses and brought quickly to a booth as requested. Our waitress, Isabel was friendly and sweet. We ordered Margaritas and fried pickles to start. The pickles were so hot I burned the roof of my mouth. Thankfully the drink was iced cold. Both were great. For dinner, we chose the mac and cheese plate with pulled pork on top. And the dinner portion that was served was enough for almost three meals! We both couldn't finish it. I had a six wing platter with corn cob, beans and coleslaw. The wings were perfectly smoked with a dry rub crispy skin. I ate 4 and the sides and some of my husband's dish and was full. We will be back and definitely update this review with our findings.

Food was quite good. I liked the chicken Parmesan, although the pieces of chicken were stacked on top of each other so only the top one had cheese. Service was super friendly, though pretty slow. By the clock, it took 20 minutes from when I "finished" eating, to when my credit card was actually run.

The only dish we could eat was hamburgers. The rest was untasty and weird. The service was slow.

Got here unfortunately too late for food on a Monday, but had a few drinks—-very happy to have the gluten free Lucky Pigeon beer on hand and great interaction with the bartenders and other wonderful patrons. So fun!!

Nachos are my thing and their nachos with bbq pulled pork were phenomenal!! Enough for 4 people. Would go back just for the nachos and admittedly that’s all I got so I don’t know about the other food 😂 Bar service was great, very efficient and friendly. I’ll be back!

The food was amazing! I ordered the Pulled Pork Dinner with corn on the cob, hand-cut fries,and corn bread and it was delicious!! The pork was perfectly smoked and had great smokey flavor. The serving size was just right. I would highly recommend this entree to anyone who loves smoked pork! We walked up to the establishment and were quickly seated in the outside dining area. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! This was an overall great experience!

I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, and I wanted to share my thoughts. The pulled pork nachos were a highlight—truly delicious. However, the chicken parmigiana fell short of expectations due to excess water and a lack of flavor in the sauce. The buffalo chicken mac n cheese was satisfactory, but not something I’d reorder. Unfortunately, the cheeseburgers were disappointing; they lacked freshness, juiciness, and were not cooked to the requested medium. They reminded me of school cafeteria burgers. Lastly, the cheese fries were soggy and the cheese sauce was too thin and flavorless. I hope this feedback is helpful for ensuring a consistently delightful culinary experience for all patrons.

Atmosphere and our waitress were amazing. Lobster on my mac and cheese was very chewy and cold but the waitress worked well to have that removed from the bill. I'd still go here again. Ribs are AMAZING and fall of the bone

Great place to eat. I got the smoked garlic Parmesan chicken with sweet chili sprouts and fire pit fries. Amazing food and very large portions. Also had a few drinks that were nice and strong in the alcohol…cause who wants to pay for juice! Definitely will go back again.

Great spot to check out. 50 cent wings on Wednesday, and these wings are some of the best I've ever had. Some wings taste factor farmed, these wi gs taste like they've been raised by Noah on an ark. Get the beachbum, garlic, or honey bbq. The bartenders were great, they make delicious drinks. Sit in side or out, or have a drink by the fire. It's a short walk from the beach, so it worked out great for us as a pick me up on the way home

Dear God the food was delicious. Had the tenders and strips with brussel sprouts and a side of lobster and not only was the steak cooked perfectly {I'm picky about steak} but the flavor was so robust. A little oily but still amazing. Even when I was full I just couldn't stop eating. The bartender also knew his salt. Had all the suggestions from booze to foods.

Wow did it deliver! Nearly the entire menu can be made GF, even some desserts. Not only that, but the food was fresh and delicious. You didn’t lose the taste or texture due to it being GF. I had the Mac and cheese. Awesome! Also, a huge portion. Leftovers and/or sharing is highly likely. Service was great. We went early in the season thankfully because I bet this place gets insanely busy during peak time. No wait. Our sever (Shana I believe) was friendly and attentive and also knowledgeable of the menu and my food allergy. Thanks!! They had a kid menu and the establishment was suitable for families, even though it caters to adults. (IMO). They plenty of parking and the whole place appeared to be mobility friendly in terms of getting in and around tables. Perfect spot for couples and retirees to spend a few hours before visiting the ever popular Ogunquit downtown area. The whole area is super LGBTQ and family friendly. Probably the most surprising is what you get for the prices. Absolutely fair prices for the quality and quantity of food. Great drinks too. Lastly, the ambiance especially on the patio was terrific. And we found this place to be very clean. I was so pleased and I can’t wait to return the next time we visit Maine.

Nice atmosphere and good service, but food was expensive and all around disappointing. Clam strips were almost all breading, lobster roll was $29 for 4oz of lobster served on a small hotdog bun. Will not return here for seafood.

The Jamaican stout is great. Brussel sprouts were outstanding.

Sweet Chili Sprouts - so INCREDIBLY disappointed... 🥺 Walked over to BeachFire last night specifically to enjoy their Sweet Chili Sprouts with dinner, only to receive a charred heap of nearly inedible sprouts. Mentioned to our waitress (she was very nice) that they're more charred than we remembered, she said they're normally that dark. Tired & hungry, we didn't push the issue. Really enjoyed our Piggy Burgers & Oddball Stout, finishing both. Ate some sprouts, tried to find some good pieces to take home, and left the rest of the sprouts on the plate. Went back today shortly after they opened, to bring up the issue when we're not so tired & they weren't so busy; explained everything to the manager, and only asked that they replace the two Sweet Chili Sprouts sides. The manager took my to-go box to show the owner; the manager returned & told us the owner also said that they've been coming out that dark, and since we didn't bring it up last night (except, we *did* ^^^), and since I put them in the freezer last night (which I did so they wouldn't stink up the resort kitchen fridge), they couldn't do anything. I've managed a restaurant; I would not have allowed my customers to walk away empty-handed, especially when the "ask" was only to replace two side orders. Absolutely incredulous they wouldn't replace the two sides. If you order the Sweet Chili Sprouts, and they arrive mostly charred & not mostly green [browse thru all the photos & you'll see GREEN Sweet Chili Sprouts with "some" char, not ALL char and brown/black all the way thru)], bring up the photos on here & ask why they don't look like THOSE Sprouts. Our timeline: - we ordered around 6:30'ish PM, Sun., 04/28 (Piggy Burgers were AMAZING) - our receipt is time stamped 7:37PM - we relaxed outside by the fire, till 8PM, with another couple who was there to pick up a pizza-to-go - we walked back to the resort at 8PM - restaurant closed at 8:30PM - restaurant opened today, Mon. 04/29, @ 4PM - we stopped in just before 5PM to revisit the charred Sprouts issue with a manager CRUSHED; our whole family has really enjoyed BeachFire on past trips to OGT. We were planning to purchase four BeachFire-branded apparel items, as souvenirs, today; not only will we not buy their apparel, we will not go back.

Got the pretzel appetizer, 2 burgers - a beachfire burger & a veggie burger, a salad & home cut fries & a Lunch draft. We waited about 2 minutes, got seated, had excellent service & the food was great. It was Sunday $10 burger night - an added bonus. Pretty busy - a great choice for a meal.

Look no further, this is where you need to get your next dinner! This place needs to be one of your go-to spots. Amazing food, great service, clean, and very chill atmosphere. We had a short, 30 minute wait on a Saturday evening, grabbed some local suds (Corner Point, Baxter, Allagash Brewing, just to name a few) and my wife enjoyed the house rum punch. After a drink, menu perusing, and conversation, our table was ready. We sat, the wait staff were prompt, and we had our order ready for them. We ordered apps and meal at once and they rocked the timing. We had the smoked kielbasa and a cup of chili appetizer, which came out shortly after ordering. Just as we finished the apps and the plates were cleared, the main dishes were out and ready. We were never rushed to finish the apps, and we didn’t wait it was perfect! We had the tips and tenders meal and smoked brisket, sweet chili sprouts, and corn bread, and not one part of this meal was disappointing! The food and drinks here are absolutely amazing. The best part is the quality of the food and the amazing service comes at a very fair price! The wife and I might have our new date spot, can’t wait for some warmer weather to try their very cool outdoor fire pit area! We loved it, you will too! Don’t pass on Beachfire Bar & Grille, or you will surely regret it.

The sign and fire out front drew us in, that are busy with a good rating, the service was good, atmosphere ok, the food was sub par, I had the steak medallions and chicken with fries and cornbread, it was ok at best, my husband had the smoked kielbasa with scalloped potatoes and firepit fries. The meat tasted like it was reheated, the fries were very oily and the air gratin potatoes were not cheesy, very odd. The best part was the Caesar side salad and the cheeseburger queso was good. We will not return or recommend it. It was a bummer. For the money, it was not worth it.

I had the fried clams (with bellies). They were lightly breaded and fried perfectly. My drink was a local IPA. I walked away very very happy.

Stopped here on St Patricks day in the afternoon for a few (green) beers and tried the smoked wings. Due to some error I got 12 instead of 6 which I ordered ;the bartender said don't worry I wouldn't be charged so I got 6 free wings which I ended up taking in a leftover bag. Decent variety on the menu and reasonable. Wings were good and apparently are well known locally. Will definitely stop in again when in the area.

Nice restaurant with a large fire pit and stools outside. The server was very nice and attentive. The menu is large and everything is delicious/well made! Large portions too.

agressively reminded that we only had 2 hours at arrival ruined my experience was constantly concerned about time also waitress said we were the only reservation that night ????it was 2 for 25 sandwich night said any sandwich except lobster were tols a burger that was on special was included by waitress then it wasnt' asked to place another drink order before happy hour ended and my friend asked for wine and was not told it was not on the list a 10 dollar difference any way probably older people aren't desirable for their image food was great except for not really a rueben as advertized more like a tough brisket sandwich.we still gave a good tip but would not go back .I am sure they really wouldn't care as they are very popular if you are their kind of people.waitress should have apologized or comped one of the wines or something.

OMG Love the Beachfire. Great place to haul in and enjoy some cool drinks, The best mac n cheese I've ever had, and a $40 shirt. The shirt was ridiculously priced, but what a great place.

Food and service are both good. The portion was much bigger than expected. My Mac n cheese brisket was excellent and my mother enjoyed her pulled pork Mac n cheese. The food came out really quickly. If you go on a weekend and around 5 or 6 don't be surprised if there's a wait. I'd eat here again the next time I'm in Ogunquit

I arrived just before they closed the kitchen for the night and feel fortunate to have made it in time. The meal was excellent, featuring perfectly cooked steak tips with tender meat and flavorful seasoning. The potatoes au gratin were delightful, they had a lovely cheese, and the brussel sprouts, accompanied by an amazing sweet chili sauce, were the best I've ever had. They had a fantastic slightly crispy/flakey texture. The portions were big, so I’m lucky to have some leftovers to enjoy tomorrow as well. I also savored a delicious dirty martini. Despite the snowfall, their outdoor setup, complete with seats around the fire, looked inviting and cozy. I'll definitely be coming back to this great spot!

I only got a fries and a root beer, and I liked the root beer but the fries are kind of ok but they are way to greasy for my liking

We stopped in before dinner for a few drinks and had a great time. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and the drinks were inexpensive. It was January and quite cold so we didn't get to experience the outdoor fire, but look forward to getting over there again.

The Beachfire Bar & Grill has that neighborhood feel to it and as soon as you walk through the door, you immediately feel at home. The food and service is consistently outstanding and they have an abundance of gluten free options. I highly recommend the gluten free mac and cheese with the pulled pork. It is the best mac and cheese I have ever had!

Excellent American smokehouse food. We started with the wings and smoked kielbasa as appetizers. I didn’t get a picture of these as we were so hungry we couldn’t wait to dig in! The wings were big and meaty and the sauce (honey buffalo) was nice, it was a unique flavor compared to usual buffalo. The kielbasa was so tasty we couldn’t stop eating it. For dinner we had the steak tips and mac and cheese with pulled pork. Both were fantastic and very large portions. The bbq on the pulled pork was a bit generic tasting but thats the worst thing i could truthfully say. The service was good and reasonably quick. The drinks (a christmas sangria and holiday old fashioned) were both expertly made. The prices were fairly reasonable. I would definitely come here again!

Really well seasoned pulled pork. My mother loved her fish. The mashed potatoes were incredible - the fries were even better. Sort of a sports bar type of vibe. There’s an outdoor area with a big fire - it was a cold night but people made good use of it. Caesar was lovely, a side portion was enough for two of us. No inspiring non alcoholic beverage options. From the questions I asked the waitress it sounded like their NA blueberry lemonade was just minute made and syrup.

A unique place to be, with great outdoor setup, along with great variety to choose from, large and tasty portions, well gladly be back for more 😊👍😁🍻🍲🥘
