The epitome of what Italian cuisine should be, everything is done with precision timing. The bread with olive oil was excellent, even the water was delicious. And my eggplant parm and my wife’s bolognese were phenomenal as were the desserts and coffee. However the service performed by our server Zach was so friendly and professional, he gets an A++ from us. We honestly can’t wait to go again, thank you Zach!! Bella Restaurant is off the charts fantastic!

The servers here are so nice, friendly, and overall go above and beyond to give you an excellent fining experience. The Italian food is all made with a homemade sauce you can actually buy at the establishment or even grocery stores. Oil for bread made in house pasta made fresh daily they have amazing cocktails and a fantastic wine selection. The thing im most impressed with is the portions too its like your grandmother making you a plate you'll never finish it, I absolutely adore both the times I have been here had the same server Vanessa each time and she is the best even the owner at the end of the night came over to talk to tables about the experience and wishes everyone a lovely evening.

This place is perfect. The food is excellent, but more importantly, the family that owns it are people that you want to support. And their staff knocks it out of the park. Highly recommend.

My husband and myself had a wonderful meal tonight. Our sever Zack was attentive without being overwhelming. The food was over the top. Overall it was an out of this world experience

This is such a fine restaurant. Their attention to every detail is outstanding. Everything from making reservations, appetizers, meal, wine list, desserts, espresso, even wrapping the leftovers in the container so it wouldn't possibly get on your clothes or spill in your vehicle was thought out. I would give them 10 stars. We thoroughly enjoyed everything!!!

When I come home, here is my special meal with family.

We were there recently for a retirement party. The food was delicious! and the atmosphere was nice.

We live in Massachusetts. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and we were out that way shopping. In looking for a good place to eat, we found Bella on Google and saw the great reviews. Well, it did not disappoint! We started with the calamari grotto and the bread and oil. Both were delicious! For dinner, I had the Chicken Marsala and he had the Veal Francese. Both dishes were out of this world delicious! By boyfriend enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert as well. We sat at the bar and the bartender/server was excellent. She made some great dirty martinis. I did not get her name but she was wonderful. Friendly, attentive and kind. I wish we lived closer because we would visit often. Based on the meals and service, we will make a special trip back to dine again. Honestly, the other servers were just as friendly and the atmosphere felt like home. Thank you for making my boyfriend ‘s birthday special!

Best family run restaurant around. Amazing service and food

We were dining with friends on a Sunday around 7pm. While the food was good, it didn't make up for the very poor service. It was my husband's birthday, and unfortunately, due to the poor service, we most likely will not return. This was a long time waiter that our friends were familiar with. Everyone can have an off night, but at $200 a couple, I would prefer he had taken the night off if he was exhausted from working at Bella and his other side jobs.

My team and I came in for a quick meal before a film shoot not realizing this was more of a nice sit down restaurant. At first it was a tad embarrassing because we had to admit to the server that we were on a time crunch, which is a weird thing to say at a restaurant of this caliber. They IMMEDIATELY made us feel welcome, and our awesome server said he’ll get our meals in pronto. The food was delicious and their olive oil is to die for! Highly recommend this place! We made our film shoot and had great food in our stomach’s that sustained us all night!

Food is as amazing as the service!

Excellent meal and fun atmosphere. We've been there twice recently, one was for the 100th Birthday of the VFW. While there we saw a flyer about a comedy show and went to it. The food was even better because it included roast beef. And that meal was amazing.

Went to a Christmas party there and they were great.

We had not been here for several years since my wife's parents passed on. It was one of their favorites. It was even better than I remembered. Fantastic food for a very reasonable price! Dining room is elegant with real tablecloths and napkins. It was a bit loud because it's was 100% full with people enjoying themselves - but no annoying "ambience" music at all - so, it was nice. They are not afraid to make traditional cuisine with real ingredients. No, politically correct substitute ingredients here. Food was prepared perfectly and brought with good timing with attention to how our party was eating. Perfect! Giuseppe, the owner was an obvious overseer of the operation. Nice to see such vigilance. Fine dining in a little corner of RI. Update 2023/03/24 - As always a great meal! Authentic Italian cuisine with super flavor. Nice slow (3 hour) many course meal. 😊 ... and again, 2023/12/02 - perfect service and food. We were away for the summer - nice to come back home to Bella's! 🙂

Sunday afternoon family dinner roast chicken and roast beef all you care to eat special

Went here for our 6th anniversary. Firstly I contacted the restaurant to have flowers delivered there to have ready at the table which they were very willing to accommodate. Once we were there we were greeted at the door by the owner and escorted to the table where everything was set up perfectly! We decided to go all out and started with appetizers. My wife had the Calamari Grotto and I went with the Bruschetta. Both were great! The Bruchetta had more garlic in it than I anticipated but my family loves garlic so was not complaining. We then got our salads, which were up to par and the dressings were tasty for sure. Afterwards, our main meals came out. I got the Chicken Marsala and my wife the Chicken Francese. Both were cooked to perfection. Moist and flavourful without being tough or undercooked. The sauce was divine as well for both! For our dessert, we went with the homemade cannoli and the Chocolate Cake. My wife decided to save the cake for later but I ate one of the two cannolis there. Delectable crust and the filling was rich and flavorful! All in all Bella's is a fine dining establishment so the price isn't cheap. With two sodas and a proper tip, we walked out after paying $175 for both of us. That was the food, I want to compliment the service as well. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Not once was I looking around for him but he would be there exactly when we needed him. We had an awesome time there with the food, service, and atmosphere being second to none. Grazie!

We love Bella Restaurant! This beautiful family owned business has an amazing staff and delicious food. We recently had our wedding reception there and everyone was wonderful to work with. We especially would like to recognize Sarah who assisted us with all we needed. Everyone at our reception raved about how awesome the food was. Thank you, Bella! We will definitely be coming back soon.

Very nice to have a family owned local Italian restaurant where the atmosphere is nice and the food is consistently good. We are always impressed with the efficiency of the staff and the oversight of the owner and maitre d to ensure the dining experience is pleasant even when they are busy. Last night we had a great service with James, who was attentive and polite and a great server.

I dined here following a small wedding with the families. The service was great and the hors d'oeuvres delicious. We enjoyed our food, although my fish was a bit on the dry side. I would be happy to try again sometime because the menu is interesting and varied and on the whole looks delicious. My wife very much enjoyed her meal.

Went for a celebration of 50 years of marriage. No Pinot when we got there. Was told they would have some in an hour. The bartenders was great though. No reflection on her . Otherwise everything was great. They were very attentive

Long story short,ordered 2 chicken dinners from here last night. They went up to $19.00 and the portions are smaller. It's understandable I get it, it is every where. Have been going there for years. BUT you can't get bread and oil unless you eat there in the restaurant. I always got it before when I ordered take-out. But now you can't get it. WHAT? Isn't that part of the dinner for $19.00 ? They're very expensive as it is on their food which is certainly not worth it.There in Glendale RI in not Newport or Providence. My point is you can't get the oil and bread if you eat there but if you do eat there you have all the chicken, salad, potatoes and pasta as much as you want for the same price. But getting take out where you get 4 pcs of chicken, 1 small bowl pasta, 2 small salads (wilted) and 1 small bowl of tough beef which was disgusting and 1 small bowl of potatoes for 2 people it doesn't make since. You can't give bread and oil with take-out. Really ??? The bill was $41 and change. I called and spoke to the owner Giuseppe and he was so rude and hang up on me. FYI the meal isn't worth $19.00 even without the bread and oil. I really don't understand what people see in that place. Definitely will not be back. Done with Bella's.

Classiest restaurant in town. Wonderful host, attentive staff, varied menu and delicious food. Can be crowded because it hosts many functions so you should make reservations. Like most restaurants around, this one serves family style chicken but theirs also includes roast beef. They also serve family style prime rib.

Best italian food you'll ever eat in a nice environment with terrific service. Never disappoints. Plenty of parking, easy to get to. A bit pricey, but the food is worth it! Highly recommend the calamari appetizer and the veal parmigiana is the best you'll ever have.

There was a limited menu for Easter so I ordered the ham dinner. I have had other dishes here that were excellent but not this one. The ham was okay but the mashed potatoes were tasteless and oily. The carrots were hardly cooked. The bread was delicious and the salad was great. We had a wonderful waiter. The atmosphere was too noisy for normal conversation.

Food is always delicious! Owner and waitstaff take such pride in what they do and it is so important to them that your meal and experience is great. Also, love that my daughter with celiac can eat there safely.

Enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner here, the food was excellent and our server, though obviously overworked, was timely and professional. When they have live music, the main dining room can be VERY LOUD so not exactly a good place for romance and conversation, but I imagine on other nights if they pipe in soft music it would be a much more ambient atmosphere.

For the price of the food I expected a lot better I was not impressed in anyway, service was great, atmosphere was good, there's a restaurant that my wife and I usually go to that's really close to there and I order the chicken parm and it is way better and half the cost

Incredibly friendly and knowledge staff. We came in about having a dinner in their event space and Sarah has hospitable and gave us all the time we needed despite being involved in something previously. The cost is very reasonable and the food is excellent as we’ve heard.

Pretty setting, the best calamari, delicious meal and drinks.

Calamari app was delicious, cooked just right with light breading. Baked stuffed shrimp was very good, Bolognese was okay, chicken Marsala was very good. They have a wide variety of wines, but a small selection of each variety. An impressive mixed drinks selection. Deliciously creamy creme brulee dessert.

Great food and a delightful staff. I just wish it was not so far away from home.

EDDY was our waiter and host for our mom who had a surprise 80th birthday dinner at Bellas today. He was great and knew every item special as well as the daily menu. Great guy!

Best Italian restaurant I've ever had dinner at yet

Top shelf restaurant that you would expect to find in a major culinary district but instead is tucked away in Burrillville. Exceptional dishes that are not only authentic and prepared flawlessly but are mammoth in size. Professional wait staff and a very nice ambiance make this a five star overall experience. You won't be disappointed.

Pretty solid Italian food. If you order take-out, they seem to give you extra food, massive portions. Example: bolognese was enough for three different meals for me. So even though it was a little pricey, I only paid like $7/meal for it in the end. Cannolis are always great. Super nice staff.

We just had drinks we had to leave. The place looks clean. A little pricey, smelt like fish strongly. Waitresses and bartender were great.

There for our high school reunion. Nice atmosphere. Good drinks, great bartender. The chicken was awesome, the pasta was okay, the salad/dressing was bland and basically tasteless. All things considered, it was a pleasant experience.

They have something called a chicken marsala it was more like chicken teriyaki thick brown sauce way too sweet so gross. Chicken fricassee was loaded with lemon. I don't know where you guys got your chef from but that had to be the worst masala sauce I have ever had in my life. I cook for 25 years that was disgusting. I was there for a wedding. The service were great they offer me more food. But I told them no. Because why, if you can't make chicken fricassee and you can't make chicken marsala why in God's earth what I want anything else. Find a new chef

Bella - beautiful name for a nice comfortable welcoming restaurant. The staff and owner shine here and they make sure you have a great experience. We had a veal Vitella Courvoisier($36) entree & a Lobster and Burrata Ravioli entree($45). We had two appetizers, Oysters Rockefeller ($22) & Stuffed Zucchini Flowers ($16). We had a few drinks and they are outstanding. Appetizers: The Oysters were crazy delicious and highly recommend them, the Stuffed Zucchini Flowers were good but I was not the consistency or flavor I would expect. I personally think they should remove that from the menu. Entrees: The Vitella Courvoisier was loved by my partner and looked amazing. The Lobster and Burrata Ravioli was so flavorful and perfectly cooked and complimented with one each of a plump scallop and jumbo shrimp. Service: What can I say...it was fantastic. You feel like family invited to a large home and large family where you don't actually know everyone, but you get what I am trying to say. In closing...I need to go back several more times to have many more wonderful entrees. I can't say enough about the atmosphere and service. The staff are truly well trained and they all really seem to like being there. you must add this to your list of places to go...you will be very happy that you did.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food, cooked fresh and perfect look no further. Bella's boasts a large yet intimate dining area. There is a bar to chat with your friends and neighbors, banquet facility and outdoor dining. The ambience is busy yet private. The service is impeccable. The waitstaff is uniformed, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive or annoying. The owner, Giuseppe, is present and active in the diningroom. He greets every guest and introduces himself, he checks in with your table periodically to make sure his food is up to his standard. The food is fresh and cooked well. The salad dressings are made in house and it shows. The bluecheese dressing was out of this world, creamy and full of flavor without seeming sour. The calamari was tender and crispy, not chewy and overdone. The accompanying pepper trio and sauce pushed this appetizer in the top tier. Probably the best we've had. The main courses, prime rib and gamberi cardinale (shrimp with creamy tomato basil sauce over penne) were perfection. The roasted potatoes that came with the prime rib could have been a stand alone meal, they were the perfect blend of crispy, tender flesh and salty. The sauce that came on the shrimp dish was delightfully creamy with a touch of sweetness. The menu is pricey but on Sundays the prime rib is $31 all you can eat. Bella's is definitely a do-over for that moment where we want to be treated like we are the best customer in the full restaurant or we just want really good food. Bella's has it all, ambience, excellent service, great food.

Elegance & fantastic food. Menu is extensive, and categorized to a particularly high standard. Bella Restaurant is fine dining at its best. My mother and I’s first time here, and wow were we pleasantly surprised. As you enter, a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of well placed artwork and the luxuries of modernity welcome you. A restaurant situated near Slatersville Reservoir, a convoluted 144-acre reservoir with a number of coves. On busier evenings, for those without reservations, there is a cosy lounge to wait. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth- watering starters. The “Heirloom Tomato Salad” was so fresh, i seriously thought it was from the garden. Our next order, “Zucchini Flowers”, unbelievably delicious. For my mother’s main course, “Chicken Marsala”, sweet, and rich. Sticky, and the warmth of homemade food. Could have used more mushrooms, but that’s based on a women who loves mushrooms! For myself, “Gamberi Cardinale”. Please, just get it. You will not be disappointed!!! The owner, Giuseppe Calapai was extremely professional, courteous, and welcoming. The chef, Giovan Calapai, took great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. An outstanding team! And the service did accompany the high quality of the cooking. Makes you feel like family. I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. I highly recommend going to Bella Restaurant. I will surely be back.

I just love Bella! It is my favorite restaurant. My husband and I usually go for the family style chicken on a Sunday, which includes roast beef, roasted potatoes, salad, bread and pasta - all cooked to sheer perfection! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is relaxed and charming.

We live in the area , for years we had our eyes on Bella's not once did we go until a couple days ago. The prices were worth eating i must say. My husband ordered the maple duck his face was pricless to watch him eating , my oldest had the manacotti her favorite. I was surprised to see the amount of food on her plate it was mouth watering for leftovers. My girls split a flatbread pizza really good! And I ordered the baked stuff lobster stuffed with shrimp and scallops. The breadcrumbs the entire meal could feed two people!! We will be back minus 2 kids lol

Family-Style Prime Rib on Sundays is absolutely amazing! The prime rib melts in your mouth. You get a delicious salad with bread and oil/butter, roasted baby potatoes lightly seasoned, and penne pasta and juicy/tender prime rib. The food was great and the service was excellent.
