Benetis is a great little diner that is only open for lunch and breakfast. I've been eating here for years and ways enjoy my food.

This is a small Greek American Cafe Restaurant. My husband is disabled and my first impression is always how does the staff treat him. We were placed at the table nearest the entrance. The chair was removed before he could even get there and asked for its removal. The food was delicious and varied.

Says they are a mediterian cuisine restraunt. But they offer a wide variety of lunch breakfast and dinner options. A couple rotating daily speacils also. Service was good, as was the food. Big portion size for the money. It's very reasonably priced, too.

I recently had a breakfast date with my wife at Benetis and we had a very good experience overall. My wife ordered a crepe dish (can't recall the name, but it had chicken and broccoli inside) and I had the french toast breakfast special. Pros - The food is well-made and unlike many other breakfast places, not greasy at all. My fried eggs and bacon were perfectly done without too much oil and my french toast was fluffy, dusted with powdered sugar, and delicious. - The restaurant is surprisingly cozy in an old-school way. But an authentic old-school way, not in a faux-hipster old school way (like at Lucky's Deli? haha) - Service was very professional and courteous - Our waiter left an entire carafe of coffee at our table for self-serve, unlimited coffee refills. I love this at breakfast because I guzzle coffee as if my life depends on it. Cons - Being nitpicky but the restaurant isn't in the most glamorous of places. It is in the same shopping center as Sarah's Empanadas and the Glass Jug, so it's definitely on its way up but at the end of the day, it's a strip mall. - The food came out a little slowly, despite us being one of the few parties at the restaurant that morning. All in all though, Benetis was terrific and since we live so close to it, we will definitely be coming back for breakfast and maybe trying out their lunch buffet.

My friends and I , party of 6, wanted to try a brunch place after not eating all day. We decided to try this place out since there wasn’t much of a wait time and we were starving & craving for some breakfast food. In short, I would state that if you are a bigger party than 2 individual people, you will not get the best of service whatsoever. The man who helped us bringing the menu was nice & helped us, but the waitress we had did not do a great job at all. I’ve worked in the industry & know how stressful it can be, however, no matter what you should EQUALLY give the same amount of service to your regular customers to new comers as well. If we voiced our opinions inside the establishment, we would have not been heard either way because our waitress didn’t even come to our table much until taking our order & giving us the slip for our food for checkout. We waitied for a good while, almost an hour, for our food. Some of our drinks needed to be refilled & didn’t come to refill it until our food finally came out. I understand everything is made-to-order, but its the fact that the waitress we had that was working Sunday afternoon around noon June 4th did not communicate to us whether our food would be ready soon, checked up on us to see if we needed refills on our drinks, if the food was okay (which wasn’t the food was bland & didn’t really sit right in our stomaches) , if everything was alright, or if we needed anything else. In summary, common questions servers would normally ask when they serve tables. I get that there are other tables, but mannerism for tables that were just sat compared to us who have been waiting for a good while was totally different; such as refilling their drink when they had only been there for about 5-10 min; but we had to wait a good 30-40 min for ours to be refilled. As bigger parties would be given a big tip to the servers, but with how the service was done by the waitress, I would not have given any tip at all. However, having humanity in me and knowing how the service industry was, I gave a tip anyways out of kindness. I’d rather given my tip to the man who helped us more than the waitress. My hubby and I haven't been here in a while, and we disappointed that they no longer have the buffet at lunch. We always enjoyed their Greek dishes on the buffet. Fortunately, they've added several Greek dishes to their daily menu. I had a souvlaki sandwich - marinated/grilled chicken, diced veggies and tzatziki on a pita - that was delicious. My hubby had a Gyro and Souvlaki platter - the 2 meats, Greek salad, pita points + tzatziki - and it was also great. We brought home an order of Spanakopita also with Greek salad. The dressing for the salads is very tasty, and the salads included kalamata olives, pepperonccini, and even a couple of dolmades. My biggest problem with Benetis is their limited hours. They are only open 6 hours a day, 6 days per week. I suppose that makes them that much more special. This restaurant is an overflow choice when the better restaurant nearby it crowded. True Flavor Diner is where we wanted to eat but there was a 35 minute wait so we opted for Benetis. They didn't greet us well at all when we entered the place... I'm fact we stood there basically feeling ignored while numerous people were stacked at the cashier waiting to pay up so they could leave. I come here once a week with my wife and friends. It is generally the highlight of the weekend. I was starving yesterday and decided to try a new restaurant with my family. First I called and confirmed seating for my family of 5. We walk in like 5 min later place completely packed. I am 8 months pregnant carrying twins and me and my family of 5 were squeezed into a 4 person booth in the back. Okay fine I accepted that things happen. However, then it is time to order and I have my two daughters with me she’s 7 and 9 and my 13 year old son. The waitress proceeds to argue with me as I’m helping my oldest daughter order from the kids menu. She is only 9 and was struggling with understanding what she was reading (4th grader). Basically the waitress starts telling me I’m lying about my child’s age and she couldn’t eat from the kids menu. Like when I say I have never in my life. She didn’t just simply ask and move on she kept trying to berate and talk down to me and go back and forth. Until I finally said “Are you kidding me my children are 7,9, and 13 like what?” And she finally SHUTS UP. My child is tall, slender, but has a very baby face and even a child-like hairstyle. My daughter is already self conscious about her height and this was really really rude. She was overly friendly to the people behind us and standoffish to us for the entire meal after that.
