Janet our waitress WAS AMAZING! She was funny and genuine and we were really happy to have her! She gave a lot of suggestions and just refreshing to have someone give really quality service! The food was pretty good! There were some bits and some misses! The regular espresso martini was pretty good I think a hint of baileys would make it way better. I had the pumpkin spice espresso and would have like that creamy touch as well, but it came with a fun popsicle! The cinnamon roll was delicious, almost on the gooey side but just firm enough to not make it a texture issue! The pancakes are MASSIVE… so if you get the berry slam breakfast that comes with pancakes be prepared to take it home or share. The cornbeef hash skillet could have used more seasoning and less peppers it was A LOT of bell peppers which I would ask to remove if I ever got it again. The biscuits are amazing, soft and fluffy too!

If you’ve never been here, I can confidently say this is the best breakfast place in the area. But they have way more than just breakfast. They have something for everyone, healthy options, and can’t forget the COFFEE ICE CUBES!!! I think our servers name was Brian, he was a kind and upbeat guy but mostly you could just see he loves to serve people. We had an amazing experience here as we always do but Brian’s service today was exceptional. Also best pancakes we’ve ever had.

Amazing food and amazing service! For years my favorite meal has been their OMG Shrimp and Grits! Super creamy and cheesy! And any of their seasonal desserts or specifically their seasonal Stuffed French Toasts are amazing!

We were in town visiting and wanted brunch so we hit up Yelp and there popped up Berry Fresh Cafe!! Baby it did not disappoint. From the outside to the inside the decor was so freaking cuteeeeee!!! Plus it was as farm to table OMG!! From the minute we walked in table ready, server ready, the server made great recommendations and baby you should always leave with a to go plate unless you are that hungry then go for yours. But for me and my crew we needed to go plates. The lemonades on point, one lady in our party needed gluten free (and they had it and she got it) and it was delicious. 🤤 Everything we got was hot and delicious. What a fabulous restaurant! My neighbor recommended Berry Fresh this morning as we were leaving to grab breakfast..I am so glad he did! My friend and I ordered this amazing breakfast sandwich called the Egg Egstravaganza! It was EPIC! It had 2 eggs, 2 pieces of smoked thick cut bacon, sliced tomatoe covered with bacon jam and fresh mashed avacado and Citrus dresses arugula served on a grilled brioche bun with a huge side of delicious red potatoes with onions....this meal could have easily fed two people! We also enjoyed the fresh made blueberry fritters that were delivered to the table by our sweet server named Sage. She shook a bag to cover the fritters in sugar and cinnamon and poured them out onto a plate with a strawberry yogurt dipping sauce...and to kick it up a notch, she pointed to the blueberry sauce in the squeezable jar on our table. Best blueberry fritters on the planet! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu...we're planning on coming back for more wonderful meals. FYI..it's opened for breakfast and lunch...the menu is extensive with foods made fresh from local farms! This place is a winner!

When I give five stars to a restaurant, it mainly means that the food is actually good! They know what good taste and good quality actually are. On top of that, I love how this place treats their employees.

They should change the name to barely fresh and barely hot. Nothing new there,same ole prep cooked food. If I wanted cold leftovers I could have ate at home. Gave away my gift card.good luck.

We have previously eaten at the Port St. Lucie location. This experience was even better. Service was fantastic. Janet was our server and I appreciated how attuned to some parents not wanting their kids to have a lot of sugar. She spelled out w-h-i-p-p-e-d cream that came with the breakfast our child ordered. She cut the straws so the kids wouldn’t get poked in the nose or eye by them being so long and kids being kids. Food was awesome. Lemon ricotta pancakes. Hangover hot dog. It was one amazing brunch. The servings are HUGE so plan on being stuffed or having a second meal later. Will come back next time we’re in the area.

If you love breakfast as I do; then this is a must visit if you're in the area. Staff is warm, welcoming, and accommodating. All while not being overbearing. The kitchen staff clearly takes pride in what they do.

I have been going to Berry Fresh with my wife now for a few years and have always loved their blueberry muffins! I usually get the yogurt and muffin combo but the last few times I’ve gone the blueberry muffin has been small, mushy, and not as good as it usually is! I’m not sure if they changed the recipe or not but I had the peach muffin today and it was fantastic! The blueberry once again just did not taste fresh.. We love Berry Fresh so we will be back but would love to know what happened with the old blueberry muffins

Great for a Friend's get together

My family came into town to visit from NYC and this was their first breakfast/brunch meal. Everything, the chicken and waffles, eggs benedict, pancakes, etc., were phenomenal. My niece was very moody but despite this the waitress was very patient, sweet, and persistent in her attempts to get her to smile. She eventually succeeded. Another great experience at Berry Fresh Cafe. I highly recommend!

Amazing service. We walked in and was greeted quickly and seated quickly. William, our sever, was on it. Had my apple juice before I could take my hat off. Being the coffee snobs we are the Latte's we got were ok. Not bad, just nothing to write home about. Cinnamon Roll was...divine. Blue Berry Fritters were awesome. Our breakfast arrived super quick and every bite was delicious. My wife got the Chicken and Biscuit Omelet and I got the Redneck Benedict. Yes please!

Anything fried there tastes like they use old/stale oil. We went there 3x, same very time. We will never go back. Oh, and how dare you force customers to pay 18% gratuity BEFORE they even have a chance to experience the service? That’s completely unfair to customers!

***Update - went here with my family last weekend and had a lovely brunch, attended to by Lisa. She was so patient, professional, joyful, and fun. We really appreciated her solicitousness. This place is always a hit!*** The food here is always delicious and unique - from Monte Cristos and blueberry fritters to Captain Crunch French toast and zesty southern grits - but the real star of the show is the service. We had a small party yesterday in the private room and our waitress, Lisa, was a paragon of hospitality. She constantly checked on us, topped off drinks, made to-go containers and cups without being asked, told jokes, offered recommendations, and overall was so jovial and sweet, it truly made it a stellar visit. Love this place - from decor to eats to customer courtesy, it is truly a gem. Thank you Lisa for being our angel!

This place was amazing. We travel so much and made this stop, not expecting much coming from Rhode Island. I mean really, it's good to see everyone in a great mood, energetic, patient, AND the manager out there working the floor with them. The people are super polite!. Every employee had a "happy to serve/help you" attitude. & The food was amazing.

Sorry but just seen two waiters having a little argument because apparently Brian took my table and then another girl apparently had that section is not good . For starters. Also putting the tip “by the way a 18% is already there” and Brian sounds like a robot. He has practiced phrases. Then he ask how was everything but didn’t listen l, just kept with his closing narrative. 21. $ food was ok. Not great

I went to the restaurant this morning ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs over medium and potatoes with no seasoning in them. The gravy and biscuits were fine. The potatoes had onions and seasoning on them. I have acid reflux. I do not eat spicy foods. My order Was $11.95 they charge me $25.50. I will never go back into Barry fresh again. I advise anybody that reads this to stay away. Thank you for reading my review.

Very friendly staff! Been to several locations, but there is lack of communication with the vegan menu and this seems to be at all the locations I've been to. For example the Prager Cali plant-based Burger, the plant-based Burger when you try to tell them the type of toppings you want it for some reason it does not show up on their computer as you see it on the menu. So it definitely took extra time to be able for them to transfer it I guess to the cooks in the kitchen the way I want the plant base burger with toppings. Finally that was all good, then I found out they put butter on the bun, that is dairy! Vegans do not eat dairy. Sorry to say they have a big lack of communication with the vegan menu, so vegans be careful when you're ordering.

VERY RUDE staff- they honestly seem like they do not want to be there at all. Their miserable mood just sets a negative tone to start. They are not accommodating to their customers what so ever. No room for toddlers to sit in high chair.

Love this restaurant! The service was exceptional, and the food was so good. I recommend having the Ultimate Barbacoa Sandwich. You will not be disappointed!!! There is an 18% surcharge to your bill for the servers, and parking can be limited depending on the time of day.

First timers. We were told the wait was between 17-30 minutes but it ended up being 20. The place was packed so we had high hopes especially it being a Sunday crowd. I ordered the ultimate Barbacoa grilled cheese with a mega strawberry mango mimosa. The presentation of the food was picture perfect but I didn’t like any of it. The drink was flat and the food tasted like beef fat which over powered the cheese and the bread. The sauce it’s served with the waitress said it’s the sauce that’s made from the beef cooking which is DISGUSTING. The fries were good though. My boyfriend ordered a strawberry sunshine punch lemonade & the breakfast burrito. He said he’s food was fine as it was mostly just egg and peppers he didn’t even realize it was supposed to have sausage in it. The service was friendly. She checked to make sure our food was correct and the next time was to bring us our check. Not to mention the 18% gratuity added to our bill plus still expecting a tip. I won’t be back.

My friends and I had Kim as a waitress and her energy was so bubbly and comforting, she made us all feel comfortable in the setting and was quick to bring us whatever we needed aswell as give us suggestions and help us navigate the menu. Great place, very clean and food was quick to come out.

I have to tell you, I was a bit skeptical of this place walking in. I had heard it was good, but something about it always seemed off to me. But some friends had suggested we meet here in the future so I decided I wanted to find out for myself. I will tell you I am a very basic guy, not into trying to reinvent the wheel. I mean eggs are eggs, it should not be rocket science. So I went in and confirmed with the hostess that the whole bit about a service charge was accurate, she said it was so I know going in there will be an unnecessary charge on my bill. I mean it is not my place to pay their employees. If anything they should pay their servers a livable wage and the tips should be icing on the cake. I chose to sit at the bar. My waitress/bartender was attentive and pleasant. I ordered a simple meal of scrabbled eggs, bacon, which I asked to be crispy, grits and white toast. I had unsweetened tea for a drink. My server was fast with the drink. It tasted a little different which is fine. I noticed the containers they use listed Red Diamond Tea, which is a cost effective (basic) brand. As I waited for my food I also noticed they use Conagra Hunt's ketchup and some brand that I have never heard of of mustard. Interesting the label only said package in IL, so you have to wonder what country it originated in. My food arrived, the eggs were perfect. good job to the person who did the eggs. The bacon was less that halfway cooked, definitely not crispy. The grits were horrid. The toast, which I assume it their Challah bread, was very heavy and tough. I was pleased with the eggs only. I inquired about the texture of the grits and was told that they are stone ground. That is fine but the use of cream to smooth them out does not negate the fact that they were under cooked. Grits if cooked correctly do not need cream at all. My server inquired into my satisfaction and did return with some crispier bacon. Which was both tough and flavorless. I can only assume they use a lessor brand of product. I had eaten a bite of toast, grits and bacon, I finished my eggs and requested the check. What I got was the manager who stated that they had taken care of the check since I was not satisfied. I presented my card and said that I was more than willing to pay for what I had eaten, she refused the card. I tipped my server the cost of the meal plus tip. Two thing bother me about this place, one of them a lot. I do not like a service fee added onto my check for services which might be clearly under par. I am a gracious tipper except in those instances where service should not be rewarded. Making me pay 18% for subpar service is an affront to me and an indication that you do not wish to pay your employees. you want me to pay your employees. I also noticed in their response to a previous review that the charge helped them cover increasing cost. I can only assume it means that they have cut the amount of money they are paying to their service team or not increased compensation to their service team in accordance with the rise in inflation. It is terribly unfair to quality servers. Secondly, calling it a commission is personally affronting to me. Price your product fairly and get rid of this hidden charge. Turning a $10.99 meal into $12.96 meal for a "commission" is ridiculous. This is a restaurant not a used car lot. Finally, the use of poor quality products and charging these prices are not acceptable to me. Thank you for the meal. I hope my server was pleased with the tip, but I would never, willing, step foot in this restaurant again. Based on the response from Berry Fresh to my review. They have stated that it is a response to Florida's increase of the minimum wage. I guess as the years pass we will continue to see their commissions rise. I really wish I knew how their commissions work. Either way it does not matter to me, I won't be paying it.

Asked for soft bacon got crispy. Forgot a side ordered egg. Told us it was being taken off the check, charged for it. Never brought the syrup, couldn't ask for it, she never came back. Never got any refills. Not coming back for a while. Over $120.00 bill, I need better service then that

It’s no wonder they put the ihop next door out of business- this place is outstanding! From the excellent service (special shout out to Cheryl for taking extra good care of us) the warm and inviting environment and the food it’s all wonderful. I can’t say enough good things. The portions are very generous so be prepared to talk some home. It’s also very good quality which is very impressive considering everything is reasonably priced. Whenever I visit the PSL area this is one of my first stops. Don’t forget to order the biscuits and smother them in jam!

Incredible. The food is 10/10. The service is 10/10. I had a shrimp and chorizo omelette, a dark chocolate cheesecake pancake roll, and a side of bacon. Bacon was thick and crisp, pancake was perfect, blueberries were fresh, whipped cream was right. I didn’t even use maple syrup on the chocolate pancake roll which means it was fire because maple syrup is the point of breakfast. Our server was attentive, enthusiastic, and made a perfect meal even better. We had a ten month old in tow and they were great to her too. The only knock was the bathroom situation- the men’s room was a single, so you got to wait in line behind whatever guy took dump before you- not the best. Other than that it was all beyond reproach.

Berry Fresh is one of our favorite restaurants in Stuart, either for lunch or breakfast. I only wish they had a few more vegan choices.

My coffee was really good but wasn't impressed by my big breakfast everything was luke warm, they only give you one piece of toast, rye, which didn't taste like rye to me, the potatoes were small deep fried not to tasty and the bacon wasn't cooked enough. On the other hand my waitress and the hostess acted nice.

This is our 4th and last. The first time was good the second was awful (shrimp &grits) 3rd was potato pancakes (it was a balled up hash brown) 4th time they announced that they add a 18% gratuity 😳 . Needless to say once they dropped off the food we never saw him again until he dropped off the check!!! Why bother he’s already getting a tip. The eggs Benedict barely had any hollandaise sauce and the potatoes were burnt and dry👎 So long Barry Fresh

Everything about this place is top tier. From the food to the service, we were not disappointed.

I had the OMG Hash with eggs and a biscuit. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't mushy. It had real corned beef and was very delicious. I also had a side of sausage. The biscuit was like homemade. Our server explained how the majority of food is locally sourced and fresh. You can taste it in the food. It's not the prettiest place to eat but the service was excellent although busy. They were out of grits so I chose the fried green tomatoes instead and wow, they are delicious! An eighteen percent service charge for your server is applied to your check, so unless you want to tip more than 18%, you don't have to worry about it. This is good because, believe it or not, in 2024, some people still don't know how to tip! Hubby had the omelet but he like that the veggies weren't diced but cut in straps. They serve bloody Mary's and mimosas. This was the Stuart location. I will try the Port St Lucie location next.

My daughter ordered breakfast via Uber Eats. I ordered a sunrise breakfast sandwich with potatoes. The sausage didn’t even taste like sausage. No flavor at all. Potatoes had absolutely no flavor. The cheese tasted like generic processed cheese and the whole meal was nauseating and ended up in the trash. Completely disappointed. Horrible food. NEVER AGAIN. Uber Eats delivery was fast and courteous.

Second time here but first for my family. The service was very good. They do have a kids menu but mine eat off the regular menu. Food was very fresh and excellent ! If you want something good and different this is the place to go! Drinks, smoothies to fresh juices yum. We will definitely be back.

Yesterday, I went to this wonderful place with my family. To begin, the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and polite. The food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND MADE WITH LOVE AND CARE! Additionally, the food comes out nice and quick. If you want amazing breakfast, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

so the food is great and the menu is different in a good way but this place has problems that are stupid because they are fixable. Everytime I come here I get a wobbly table. Seriously fix the tables or the floor. There is more to the dining experience than the food. Take it from a Southerner, dont serve grits without a pat of butter on the side! Ok update... I went back and it seems that they may have fixed the tables so I added a star. Seriously I 💘 this place I just want to see them get it right.

The owner or manager (whom ever it was is an idiot) decided to add a mandatory tip to everyone ones check. A tip is earned not a guarantee! I will never eat there again and so far have told several friend about this and they have decided not to eat there too.

This place is really a great place for breakfast. The food is always good and the service is great. My only problem has to do with the check charge which is there so called tip charge on every check which they just started doing a few months ago. It’s sad that restaurants are doing this, but maybe when the servers start making less on tips because of it Restaurants will start reversing their thought

Not your typical diner. I'm a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy--"If it don't offer chicken fried steak, it ain't a traditional diner!". This place doesn't have chicken fried steak, but they do have fruits and berries and all kinds of "artsy-fartsy" stuff that my wife and sister enjoyed. Wife had old fashioned oatmeal with bananas, strawberries, granola and brown sugar in generous proportions that she rated "Delicious!" (and she's a very good cook). Sister had Big Farmer's Breakfast and rated the biscuits "Best I ever had!". They didn't offer hash browns and I generally dislike home fries but I must admit the home fries with red potatoes and onions were the best in my recollection--delicious! Bottom line: I wouldn't choose this place but Wifey and Sister give it two thumbs up! OBTW, If you want a hint of traditional Mexican fare, try the Birria Tacos! Not on the menu, they were highlighted on the TV monitor in the restaurant. The flour tortillas were fresh, home made and delicious. The delicate flavor authentic and delicious!
