The Market Street Cafe is like a "cherry on top" of this quaint little historical haven called Bickleton. There's a certain "set back in time" feel here and i venture to say that you havent experienced Bickleton until you've enjoyed a meal at the MARKET STREET CAFE. There are books and ohotos that provide thechistorical backdrop of the area. The locals are warm and friendly, the food is great and the service is "impeccably country"! I ordered fish and chips-yum! Whatcha waitin' for?! Get on up here and see for yourself what you've been missing out on! Come step back in time, absorb the goodness, savor the ambiance, inhale the peace and enjoy the food!

They are always nice and it has the down home feel

Best place to eat for miles.. Only two restaurants in the whole town, and this one is open year round! Great service, friendly atmosphere, and awesome food with amazing deserts!

Best mom and pop cafe owned by great people and attended by locals and travelers. I ride my motorcycle to this place three or four times a year. Best onion rings I've ever had, plus good tarter for dipping (yeh, just my preference). Club house outstanding, great grilled chicken, and traditional breakfasts. Try the ride from Mabton to Bickleton, then from Bickleton to Goldendale. Good place to eat and to hit a scenic byway. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Hood.

Such a cool place and perfect respite to stop for a nice lunch. The staff is awesome and the food is really good. Don’t forget to get your Bluebird house you’ll find for sale to take home and give your own bluebirds a place to live with you.

It's quite a drive to get there but some of the countryside you'll see is worth it. The town is relatively small and we couldn't find any gas so if you go make sure your tank is full. It's known for the bluebirds that nest there, probably in the spring. The local restaurant is filled with friendly locals and very friendly staff.

Quaint market, we ate from the kitchen. Tasted like...my own kitchen. Nothing special. No one wore masks except us and we were made fun of. Also was heckled by customers about my ponytail. Bring your own food to this town and picnic.

Had lunch yesterday in Bickleton, it was amazing. From the moment we walked in the market cafe we felt like we were home, everyone was welcoming and friendly. We found a table and sat down to one of the best lunches ever. My daughter and I shared a patty melt and onion rings, it was amazing, the bread was perfectly toasted, not soggy at all, the onion rings were perfect, only wish we would of saved room for dessert, they had homemade cherry crumble and Mississippi mud pie. If your in the area stop in, you wont be disappointed...

We where doing some wind work out at Big Horn, and stopped by when we where headed home. Great customer service and an amazing cook!

Anyone you meet here staff or otherwise is extremely nice. The food is great, personally I recommend ordering a Milkshake with any order. The overall authenticity of the cafe combined with the good food and nice people will definitely make you want to come back for more.

This cafe is the other half, so to speak, of the town's general store. Without a doubt, the atmosphere is set by the presence of the locals. Always a greeting from them, and of course, the owner/waitress staff really take care of their customers. I typically land here, rather than the tavern (Bluebird Inn is tavern plus restaurant). Just more family oriented and the food is delicious. Really, I can't remember eating a better clubhouse sandwich. Stacked with quality meats and bread- you won't be disappointed. Their fries are crisp and nicely done, too. Hope you try this stop out!
