Chicken was ok, plenty of potatoes and coleslaw.

We were celebrating a birthday and ordered chicken and potatoes for 20 people. The chicken and potatoes were cooked perfectly., we loved it! The price was very reasonable, we will definitely be back again.

First time and now we will be regulars! Great chicken ribs and potatoes! Also, the girl that helped us has an amazing personality! We ordered on 7/5/24 at 6:30 pm so you can know who she was. So glad we found this place I am always on a constant hunt for good fried chicken for my hubby and now I found it.

Do yourself a favor and go to Chicken Shack! Food was terrible and staff wasn't much better.

Just talked to my Dad about his recent , 2 days ago , carry out order and he couldn’t stop raving about how good the 8 piece chicken bucket was . He said it’s the best carry out chicken he’s ever had , said the broasted potatoes were great and the coleslaw very good . Said the meal was packaged nicely and the employees were very friendly . He said $19.99 was a steal for how much great food you get .

Always cooked to order which makes certain your food is served piping hot! Lunch specials are unreal! One of my favourite spots for fried chicken.

Best ribs I've had in years. Fall off the bone soft. Excellent bbq sauce. Perfect. Chickens great. Fries are the bomb. Even their coleslaw is top notch! And you Can't beat the deal they have with the combos!! Love this place

First time ever coming to this place as I have been having crazy chicken cravings as I’m pregnant! This place was amazing! I ordered an 8 piece and they upgraded me to a 12 piece which was a similar price on deals they had, with out asking! They were quick, friendly and the food was amazing! Their coleslaw is perfect along with their potatoes! I will for sure be coming back thanks!

The decor is full on golf fanatic on the walls, generic everything else. The women greeted everyone as 'hon' or 'honey', regardless of gender. There's a steady stream of regulars. The menu isn't huge but still gives a nice selection. The lunch specials add to that. Decided on the 3 pc cod lunch special with broasted potatoes (as opposed to fries). Specials come with coleslaw & a dinner roll for $9 - 10 + tax. The slaw is good, creamy without dripping in sauce. The potatoes are great and the fish is delicious but a tad greasy. The quantity is tremendous, especially the potatoes. There must've been 3 whole potatoes in there. Everything is made to order so it was fresh & hot. Downside is that its all packaged in styrofoam & plastic.

I have been there personally many times for private events at my house and for my company and they have always been fantastic! I will be ordering for the 2024 NFL Draft party I will host for our companies employees!

This lovely little place puts out Great Food for your money. The crispy crunch on the chicken is so good As is the fish and shrimp. Broasted potatoes are great. Ribs are tender Place is budget friendly. In closing, Jessica provides Fast Friendly Carryouts and is pure joy

Good food, ribs are better than average. Tell Louie Ej sent you. Get the seasoned potatoes, fries are good but trust me the taters are special. UPDATE: with the sad passing of Louie, the place has gone down hill. Ordered a meal on Wednesday they messed up the sauce, ordered same meal that Friday, messed up the fries, gave me roasted taters that were salty as my ex wife, told they don't do ketchup but got it Wednesday, ranch was bland. It's been awhile since someone else took over and I kept quiet about the mistakes but it is so inconsistent, it's really not with it anymore.

We recently moved to the area and I am a first time customer of Big Joe's Chicken this past Sunday the 18th. I must say that the broasted chicken and side dishes were fantastic. I am happy to say we have found a new favorite take out restaurant. Thank you to Big Joes and their staff for providing the perfect broasted chicken & sides for celebrating with my family an important family anniversary. I whole heartedly recommend this place.

You must try the cod dinner it is on point very tasty.

We ordered the family special, full slab of ribs, 12 pieces of chicken, breasted potatoes, coleslaw and dinner rolls. All for $40!! Everything was delicious!! Ribs fell right off the bone! Was enough to feed my family of four with plenty left over.

Chicken was crispy and cooked perfectly. Potatoes were a bit undercooked and not sure I would order again. Coleslaw was average. Service was friendly and quick.

This has to be the best deal on chicken, ever! I can feed myself, my wife and my adult son for under $30. And the chicken is really good.

Very good food, keep in mind they are a strip center resturant, so if you are looking for a seven course meal, not going to happen. But, if you are looking for tasty comfort food they are the bomb!

What in the name of $40 did I just bring home. So much food the 2 of us are going to be eating for days. The ribs just fell off the bone and the boasted chicken was so juicy and flavorful. Not to mention enough boasted potatoes for 8-10 people. If I ever have to go on a fixed income. This meal could feed me for 5 days. The photos are the leftovers.

If you're in the mood for fish and chips or broasted chicken and potatoes, you need to try this place. Great quality fresh prepared meal for a fair price.

We have ordered Big Joe's for catering multiple times and they never disappoint! The food is always great and hot and people always have lots of compliments! We usually get the chicken and potatoes but I don't think you could go wrong!

No roll with my meal didn’t have any tartar sauce made because they claimed to be closing for 10 days. Wouldn’t even fill up cups of ranch and charged $1.50 for hot sauce. Overpriced frozen seafood.

We catered a large retirement luncheon today with Big Joe's. The food was incredible. Perfectly cooked chicken, large pieces. The Mac n cheese was fabulous, potatoes, green beans and salads. Would highly recommend them for your next party.

Worst customer service. They refused to take a order 3 hours ahead of time. Manager which was a lady I spoken yo rude as heck. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!! MAYBE THEY SHOULD HIRE MORE STAFF!!!

Phenomenal. Just absolutely amazing!! Ordered the Rib, chicken, potato, slaw, roll meal and everything was soooo good. The price was perfect for a family meal. We will definitely be ordering again. Alot!!

The food is awesome! Ordered a Rib Dinner and a pulled pork dinner. Ribs and potato portions were great (think they gave us extra potatoes), but portion of pulled pork was not as much as I expected otherwise I would have given them 5 stars...maybe they were low on pork and gave us extra potatoes to make up for it, I don't know; I'll give them benefit of the doubt, will definitely order from here again, and I highly recommend their food (this is "the ribs fall off the bone" place 😋).

Food was excellent, the cashier very attentive. Easy on easy out. A lot of great choices on the menu portions were big. Definitely eat here again.

I’ve had the food here several times! The ribs and potatoes are my favorite. The kitchen looks very clean. The food is a great price for the portions and quality. The owner is a great guy, he’s always at the store working hard! I’d recommend them for a casual dinner with a friend or catering your next huge event. A+ service and food!

We've had the ribs & are very good so are boosted potatoes. Chicken we picked up 4/13/23 was awful, smelled and tasted like burnt old cooking oil.

My family and I have been ordering here for over a year and the food has been great everytime it is a usually busy place so sometimes you have to wait but that's not a problem they deliver on great food we have ate the fried cod fried chicken pulled pork and ribs. We usually get the roasted potatoes and coleslaw with our orders. Really love the prices can't beat them around here and always seeing the same people working hard tells you they care. Anyone complaining about the interior is being an Andy or a Karen and hasn't ever been in any real kitchens these folks are awesome and I'll keep sending people here to order cause they are always happy when they tell me about there experience as well great familly local dining everytime thanks yall.

Came here because the other chicken place is cutting it. Have to say slightly Joe's has as good or better food. Plus good service. Only thing they need is a a lol tlc on their restaurant..

Ordered ribs and chicken for my superbowl party. The chicken was good but I must say the ribs were amazing! The meat was tender and fell off the bone. Got lots of compliments from my guests. Highly recommend

Ive been coming here for 15 years. I dont know if they sold it or what has happened recently. Whatever is happening doesnt deserve to be called big joes anymore. The potatoes are different and smothered in butter and soggy. The pulled pork bun is now hard and crispy when it used to be soft. My friend said the chicken wasnt as good either. Service is no where near what it was a few months back. They have lost a loyal customer and will lose alot more if they keep ruining what Big Joes Chicken has built over the years!

I took away a star due to prices being too high in my view. Chicken was good, but felt 50 pieces of chicken, 1 tray of slaw and 1 tray of potatoes was high at 130 dollars.

Big Joe's may have good food but customer service is terrible. I called several times Friday to order food for my wife's birthday and the recording said can't come to the phone right now leave a # and what you want to order and we'll get right back to you, hmm they never did. They will lose customer's past and present if they don't change their ways. If anyone wants to order for a party or event forget it your wasting your time !

My son and I go here for lunch on a regular basis now! We both love the broasted potatoes. Still can't decide whether the chicken or lake perch is better! Eat in is obviously better for crisper fried foods but I even threw my left overs in the air fryer and bam back to crisp!

I had heard good things about big joes so I thought to give them a first time try. (We are new to the area) we were very disappointed the chicken was very dry and it looked to be overdone. The outer part was very dark. Nothing beats “the chicken place” in Roseville. A bit far for me now.😞

If you love broasted chicken and potatoes, you mist get their carry out. You will need double the Cole slaw to go with your generous potatoes! We love getting Big Joe's on our "No Cook Fridays"!

Got a carry out here for the first time. Was delicious. Got tenders, potatoes, and coleslaw, all were very good. Way better than the chain places and cheaper too. Workers were all very pleasant. Our new go to for chicken. Would highly recommend!

I've been going here for 10 plus years. The food is always really good. Every coworker I recommended it to loves them. They were on our list of Christmas choices to cater our party. This is the only restarunt where the owner runs to deliver it hot. Love the Cole slaw.

We ordered chicken and ribs for a family party and everybody raved about how good everything was.

I was randomly in the mood for ribs, and could not find a spot with high enough reviews that was open during that particular time of day. I called ahead to make sure they weren't sold out, which they weren't. The lady who took my order over the phone was very polite, and took the time to explain the menu options! This place was 36 minutes away from me, and it was well worth the drive!!! The meat was literally falling off of the bones! The potatoes were really tasty, as well! My family definitely loved the food, and kept asking where did I get it from! This is now a 'Go Again' spot in our books!

Ribs were very good...falling off the bone and very meaty. Coleslaw was crisp but bland almost as if the seasoning was forgotten. Potatoes were good although a bit oily. But the chicken tenders were super disappointing...cheap, thin frozen tenders just thrown in a deep fryer and over cooked.

Absolutely the best broasted chicken we've had. The ribs are delicious, the meat was falling off the bone. Roasted potatoes were season perfectly and the cold slaw was fresh and definitely homemade. Customer service is excellent.

Lots of food for the money. Just not healthy food. We had the 2pc cod lunch special with broasted potatoes coslaw and a role for $4.95. Don't get me wrong it was tasty just a little greasy.
