The family loves the smoked salmon selections & the dips are so delicious .

Big O Smokehouse has really great smoked fish and smoked brisket. I use their products for high end retreats and people are always wowed by the Big O Smokehouse products.

Big O’s Smoked Grouper Dip is absolutely amazing, can’t get enough of it. It’s great on crackers, sandwiches, or frankly just straight out the package with a spoon. I also enjoy their smoked salmon, especially as a post-workout protein boost. Incredible flavor, locally-sourced ingredients, and family owned - what’s not to love?

First time here - got BBQ plate -meat wasn't as great as it was described but the sides and the shakes the bomb - just delicious

They did some remodeling since the last time I've been there. Very nice. I go for the smoked salmon and buffalo jerky. My dog and cat are big fans of the smoked salmon.

Took some venison to the Smokehouse to have some jerky and sticks made. The sticks were awesome but I wish I could say the same for the jerky. To say the jerky was terrible might be giving it more credit than it deserves. The taste was terrible, it was not dried long enough and I've never had jerky sliced so thick. Some pieces were over an inch thick. Tastes more like a roast that someone didn't know how to cook. I bragged about the sticks to my friends but I wouldn't fed the jerky to my dogs. 20# of jerky I will have to throw away. Can't say I would ever go back there again. I didn't even mention the fact that they called me to pick up my order and when I got there they only had the sticks done and not the jerky, so I had to make a second trip to pick up the rest of my order. 45+ miles one way. One trip to take the meat over to have processed and two trips to pick up my order. Never again.

I love this little store! I have used them for Christmas gift boxes for my clients and they were a hit! I also personally love their selection of GOOD meat and highly recommend their smoked salmon.. or salmon jerky. Either way you can’t go wrong!

Sweet. Smokey. Salmon. Jerky is all you need to know. Oh yeah, the dips and holy bejeebus the kippered "jerky" is an insult to call jerky. Ever have jerky that is moist and red like grilled steak in the middle? You need to and this is where to get it. Chicken cherry jerky is also fab. This place has it dialed in. Free samples and friendly staff are cherry on sundae. Just go.

Great pace to purchase all kinds of fish. I love all their smoked products, especially salmon. You can not go wrong purchasing food from this establishment. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

Not a big store, but oh, the smoked meat items! Best smoked salmon we've ever had. Yum! Also available--rubs, assorted other uncommon specialty food items, and a frozen section with pies and other goodies. Knowledgeable, friendly help, too.

Health department would probably want to know that they are NOT including ingredient labels on pre packaged housemade dips. Watch out for dates on that product too

You guys have amazing salmon jerky! Also, the different fish dips are some of the best I've had. The specialty products are pretty good too! Like the cherry jalapeños and pickled eggs. I make the 50 minute drive every few weeks

We happened to pass by Big O Smokehouse on our way through town and we are so pleased that we did. We received amazing service with a smile, suggestions, and samples, which is always a nice touch. The smoked salmon and the salmon dip are delicious and of course, we had to take some home with us. Thank you for the wonderful experience and tasty treasures!

The stores small but has great stuff I got pure Michigan maple syrup along with the meat and jerky we got...cant wait to try the brats

Stopped in to see what was good. Let me just say, everything is great. I'd heard about the salmon dip so I wanted to try it and I needed some smoked salmon steak in my life. I was not disappointed. The steak was flaky, moist and not overly smokey tasting or bitter. The salmon dip had great flavor on a rosemary and olive oil cracker. Decently priced as well. There is a large variety of relishes and pickled vegetables too.

You want great smoked meats this is a must. Salmon is fantastic but a bit pricey. Also the meat sticks are very good. Quite a variety to chose from.

Large variety of products went there looking for bluegills also bought Yellow Tail perch which I had yesterday they were out of this world fantastic can't wait to try the bluegill but I will be going back for more of that yellowtail perch best I've ever had

This place has the best smoked salmon I've ever had! Their Cajun Salmon Jerky is my favorite! I've been going there for a few years now. The Jerry isn't tough and chewy either.. Just a little more drier than their regularly smoked fish.. they have a lot more than just smoked fish as well. The salmon is just my favorite! Great customer service as well. You probably won't have to wait, and if you do, it won't be for long at all.

I tasted their smoked salmon instantly had to buy some... Also bought their BBQ peppered jerky wow... I was very impressed I couldnt even concentrate to drive my truck after taking a bit... Sat on side on road until I could get my mind to focus. Must try if you haven't put down what ever your doing and go!!!!!!

Came here for the first time yesterday on our way home from Ionia. I don't see a 4.8 overall review on Google very often, so I figured it must be legit. It is! I got the smoked salmon and the pepper BBQ beef jerky. They're both fantastic! The smoked salmon definitely tastes like "up north smoked salmon." And there's so much more you can get too. I'll definitely be back.

I've been buying beef sticks and smoked salmon here for a few years. This year we ordered 2 smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving. They were amazing. I will be buying them for all of our holiday get togethers from now on.

Great products & great customer service ~ friendly staff! I have never been a big salmon lover, but once I tried the smoked salmon patties I was hooked. My favorite is the Habenero Mango but I recently tried the Sweet Italian and that is a close 2nd. I have tried a few different items & haven't found anything that I didn't like!! It's definitely a place I will stop at whenever I am in the area!!! Keep up the good work Big O!!!

Very friendly atmosphere !! Clean , neat , very organized ! Prices run average !! Just tried the regular Buffalo sticks , a little spicy and and a little chewy but not to bad !! I also bought red rasberry jam and salami and blueberry crisp to try later it's a 2 person serving size ! !! They also sell on their lunch menu (hot sandwiches) (soup and sides) and a (Event Menu )!!!! For lrg orders 2hr notice (please) !!! All menu items are take-out only !!
