Prices shown on the internet are not the correct prices. Ordered 2 hot subs and bread was soggy, sausage looked and tasted boiled, not a lot of meat. Just horrible for the price. You can get much better subs from Publix.

Ordered with no herbs on top. Apparently the owner has to be there for things to be right.

Ordered eggplant parmigiana was so disgusting they put the pasta with it together after asking them not to… the eggplant had all the skin in thick pieces you can’t chew I thought that if you’re an Italian restaurant you would put something on your menu you know how to make !!! Waste of money

This is the second time I ordered a veggie pizza from here. The first time the pizza was so soggy and wet I thought they must of used canned spinach. This time asked for no spinach in hopes that I would get an edible pizza and somehow this pizza is even wetter than the first one and the veggies are not fresh. My daughter ordered a side salad and the entire salad (iceberg lettuce) was streaked with pink and translucent colored. My son ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza... this kid will eat any pizza related item you put in front of him... and even he said his was gross. 2 entire pizzas and a salad went right to the trash.

A true Italian hole in the wall suited for only those who prefer their food taste well.

Nothing bad to say about the staff here, I feel bad because it’s a bunch of kids working there. But the pizza was garbage, had a weird dusting on the bottom (super grainy and overwhelming, uncomfortable to eat), crust was rock solid, cheese had no flavor. Wouldn’t come back ever

This past Friday evening, I went to BIG ROMANS PIZZA in Barefoot Bay for 2 slices of pizza, one veggie and one extra cheese. Upon entering, I saw a familiar face that I had not seen in years...I went to say "hello" to the person but she did not acknowledge that she recognized me...no biggie..this happens! As I waited for my food, I noticed that employee watching me and making comments to the employees that were doing the cooking...of course did not know anything that was being said, so I dismissed it. When I got my food, I did not open the box until I got into my car...it was absolutely the most disgusting mess that I had ever been served...I took the food back into the restaurant and asked for a refund after showing who may have been the manager/owner the ridiculous mess of a meal...one of the employees whispered something to him while I was standing there, he quickly glanced over at the woman who took my order and seemed not to remember me, and he focused his attention back to me. While I was waiting, one of the employees called to a gentlemen waiting for his pizza to let him know that it was ready...when he came to the counter, the employee opened the pizza box and asked him how it looked, THIS WAS THE SAME EMPLOYEE WHO GAVE ME MY FOOD, BUT DID NOT DO THIS FOR ME. I was not asked if I wanted a replacement "which i most certainly would not have taken". My order was voided out and told to have a good night. It was very apparent that the woman knew who I was and I wholeheartedly believe that there was tampering done to my food. I have absolutely eaten at the establishment before and the food was great. I am sad that in this day, people can be so nasty as to do something potentially harmful or questionable to someone's food. BY NO MEANS am I saying that I saw anyone do anything to my food, but I have included a picture of the pizza that was given to me and I KNOW that what I received was not what was being served to others in that restaurant that evening... I don't know what the issue could have been with this woman, but I do know that if you go to that restaurant and you see her and you KNOW HER PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND STAND AND WATCH YOUR FOOD BEING PREPARED...UNLIKE I DID...

So I buy a slice of pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni and was one of the worst pizza I ever had it was burnt and salty and very little extra cheese then a customer sits next to and for some reason his slice look way better than mine. There's nothing like NYC pizza

Veggie and white pizza were dry with big globs of spinach on the veggie but not much else ,very little cheese ,sauce or veggies .The white pizza was supposed to have ricotta with mozzarella,not enough of each ,very dry and very disappointing..

Staff are nice and joking the whole time, good lunch deal two slices of huge New York style pizza with a soda can't beat it. Took it to the inlet and sat and enjoyed the food and scenery with yummy pizza.

The pizza was pretty tasty, toppings were fresh and the dough was nice and firm! Staff wasn’t very friendly but I’d go back for another pizza sometime.

We have gotten pizza here several times in the last 12 months and have been very pleased with food quality and service.

Worst pizza ever I asked for a Hawaiian that is supposed to have pineapples and it didn't have any plus the cheese literally fell off the slice the lady told ne that it had pineapple and that it was melted in the cheese and that was a lie never again no thanks I mean that's the easiest pizza to make make sure you check your order before you leave with it

I just ordered a personal pie today. And an astromboli, this was at 9 o'clock. PM, here we are. It's 11 PM and I have not received my order. I call back to find out where my water is. And I was told that the delivery guy took off with my delivery of my order And that this happens often.. So I asked the individual for a refund and I was with excuses and a bad attitude I had to wait 5 to 10 days because the boss was not there. This is ridiculous, this this is a scam. These people should not even be having a business in this area. I would be very aware of or buy a beer to deal with this place ever again.

O stars ,dough was raw , worst pizza of my life , presentation was executed terribly, you can't pick it up it's a soggy mess.

Ordered a large cheese pizza Sat night with onions and meatballs- was hot, fresh and on time. If it's not NY style, it's pretty darn close for this native New Yorker. Crust was thin (foldable!) with plenty of toppings. Will be back.

As a cook I don't say this lightly.... That was the best pizza I have had and probably 15 years. Yeah it was quick and the cost was right.... But the food exceeded any expectation I could have possibly had. Thank you!

Wow! I literally thought I was going to die from starvation. I had put off eating and needed something good and quick. Not being from around here I was looking up places for pizza and came across Big Roman's Pizza. Super close was ideal and they were within 10 minutes. As soon as I was ready to order there was a super nice employee to help. She let me know about the 2 slices and a soda special, which I took advantage of. The huge slices were brought out to me, and I wasn't expecting that kind of service from a pizza place, on four plates! I was impressed by the assortment of spices offered. The napkins are awesome and the interior is super clean if you decide the pizza can't wait to be eaten. Overall I would say they deserve 5 stars for every aspect. Thank you Big Roman's for the delicious late lunch I will definitely be back for more.

Ordered meatball subs. Bread soggy, meatballs under cooked and cheese was curdled. Asked for credit it was given for meatball subs. I would never eat or order a meatball sub from there again. I asked to order a pizza and was told credit was for meatball subs only. I spend a minimum of $25 a week or more which comes to over a $100 a month. I guess they don’t need the money. Too bad they lost a loyal customer.

Great pizza reminds me of New York the quality of the pizza, the quality of the sauce and the toppings I usually order the large special pizza with two toppings pepperoni and sausage, I asked for it to be done crispy and it’s done as requested .It’s not over Dowie like some pizzas where it’s all dough it’s like thin slice pizza wonderful cheese, wonderful sauce wonderful topping Great place to try out. Give it a shot. Be specific on what you want and they’ll accommodate you.

never REALLY liked them that much before, but after new management the pizzas pretty alright. nothing state-of-the-art but it was pretty good the last few pizzas I've had.

Mrs brought me home cheese steak sub, kind of lite on cheese. But very tasty.

It will never be the same (⁠ب⁠_⁠ب⁠) It' had been quite sometime since my husband and I last visited as we do not live out in the area anymore. This was, at one time, our go to spot when we came up this way or stayed at our property here. This experience (coming from a combined 50 years in hospitality, with having multiple generations of family owned and operated pizzerias) was borderline inexcusable. From the not so friendly, very unprofessional, poorly trained, unknowledgeable front counter girl to the food that made us both have to call it an early day to the conversations between employees from the back door all the front that had not only had no business being on company time, but moreso being talked over paying guest who were dining in. My husband and I being two of said guest. While the food generally tasted good (it's hard to find a good pie here in Florida) it quickly was revealed that the quality was subpar at best. It was quite apparent from the moment we stepped foot into Big Romans this last visit that it will never be the big Romans that I remember and loved so much. My husband called it within 20 seconds that it had switched owners and was only confirmed when he inquired. Sad.

Big Roman's has the best pizza hands down by four anywhere around I don't care what anybody says I grew up in Philly and New Jersey and New York where the best pizza in the world is Roman that guy knows how to make a pizza I'll put my reputation on it and I work for the Bay. Thanks guys for just being y'all. And don't forget their lunch special where you get two huge slices of pizza and a soda for 5 dollars where are you going to beat that deal.

Have been ordering from here periodically for about 2 years. Currently going through a divorce and my soon to be ex wife (who doesn’t live with me) placed an order for delivery and ended up disputing the credit card charges. Now they refuse to deliver to my address and will only except cash and pickup. I called to speak with the owner and explain the situation and offer to pay the balance of the disputed charges. He would not take my call and had the employees inform me that his decision of no delivery and cash only pickup applies. I won’t be ordering from a place with such poor customer service skills. I will be ordering from Aunt Louise’s Pizzeria in Roseland from now on.

There’s no place like this around. We’ve tried the rest but Big Romans is clearly the best.

I haven't been to Big Romans in a few years, never thought it was very good and always would get a pie somewhere else. We ordered a two topping pie the other day and we were quite surprised. It was very good, crust, cheese and pepperoni and banana peppers. I'm not sure what has changed at this pizza place but we really enjoyed it. I've found a good test of pizza is that the leftovers taste good the following day. It may have been a little better. Definitely check it out if it's been awhile.

You just might be my new favorite pizza. Dominoes has been as long as I can remember and I'm in my early 40s. I absolutely love your crust, sauce pretty much your entire recipe.. your service is quick amd friendly and you won my vote just for selling pizza by the slice! Thank you big romans

Got a large pie with ground beef and some garlic parm wings ... Good Wings are a hard to come by .. I tell you the wings were meaty and juicy .. well worth it. Pizza was delicious as well.

No stars sorry, the girl that answered the phone was very rude, when went into collect pizza only 1 girl at the back acknowledged me. Girl finally got off her mobile to serve me, no smile or politeness, rude miserable sullen girl still answering the phone. Will not be going back there!

I ordered one slice. It took 20 minutes and came out nearly inedible. The crust was soggy and every topping fell off making a mess everywhere. I then was forced to eat the slice with a fork and knife. Flavor was okay.

My husband snorfs down a large big Roman deluxe on his own. Crispy crust juicy with layers of cheese veggies and meat. If there's a slice or two left he eats it for breakfast. Big Romans puts a smile on his face!

Live close and used to go several times a week, However when they raise a sandwich price 38% and it isn't made right,,, I'll drive the extra 3 min to aunt L. where prices haven't changed. Also the little burnet girl who was very annoyed to actually have another paying customer can put her attitude where it belongs

Pizza was AMAZING! Such great flavor! Garlic bread was a huge hit with my family of 4 ! They even made a special meal for my very picky son who wanted plain lightly buttered pasta with grilled chicken on the side. We’ll definitely be back soon! ❤️🍕

Not only was she rude, she was insulting. After 20 years of going there, that was it for me. Lost a customer for life. Will never go back. No excuse for her acting that way. You should treat your customers a little nicer..Now I'm gonna tell everyone about Debbie Downer answering the phone and being a b*#ch! Have a lovely day..And again 0 STARS! NONE!!!

Very poor packaging. Wonder if i would get an entire pizza to go on a paper plate in a bag like my stromboli. Had they cut the stromboli it would have leak grease everywhere. Any thing but impressed or tempted to return. Two thumbs down for such a poor experience. Ill find somewhere else that cares my food makes it home without smashing or crushing or leaking grease on seats ect.

Went there with my family for the first time and ordered a large cheese pizza and cannolis. The pizza was hot and very favorable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the 2 cannolis were too small for the price. They were very good as well but too small. We will be back to try more items from the menu.

I'm from Mass. and come down to this area frequently to visit my Daddy-O in Micco and this is the only place I'll go for pizza and most everything else ! ! I've told them repeatedly that they need to open a place in Massachusetts near me ! !

Calzone asked gor pepperoni, mushrooms sausage extra mozzarella and ricotta. Sauce terrible. No mozzarella pepperoni different brand. New owner or cooks. Horrible Saturday night dinner. Never again sorry

Terrible service and we called to get a delivery locally like 5 MI uses away an hour before closing and they wernt taking deliveries. This isn't the first time it happens all the time. I get it....vut stop taking deliveries half an hour before close but come on....

Big Roman's Pizza- Micco, FL- 2.5 Stars As I was driving south along US1 for this review, I couldn't help but wonder what it was with mobile home parks and tornadoes. Why do tornadoes seem to target these neighborhoods? Location? Some heretofore undiscovered tornado enchanting emission from mobile homes themselves? I was thinking about this as my destination was Big Roman's Pizza in Micco, FL which sits at the entrance to the massive mobile home park, Barefoot Bay. Pulling into the parking lot I left my musings to the professionals to figure out and went inside. The first thing that hit me was a sense of Deja Vu. Had I been here before? A quick double-check of my blog at bigboydining.com assured me that I had not. Then I realized it must be the décor. If I asked you to describe your average American pizza place I am almost certain your description would include red or red and white checkered table cloths encased in Plexiglas, faux brick half walls and a wooden chef cut out or small statue. I even caught the enticing odor of baking pizzas wafting about. I did not catch the name of the young man that took my order as he kept his head on the counter the whole time. I thought this to be a rather unique way to perform one's job, but hey, whatever works. He did manage to correctly take my order of one pepperoni pizza and my unit of measurement for these eateries, the essential meatball sub sandwich. It's a good thing the table was clean and the seating somewhat comfortable as 36 minutes in and I am still waiting for my food. This has to be some of the worst service I have ever encountered. I had just about had enough and was in the process of finding another place to review today when low and behold my order was delivered. Good thing too as no one wants to see the Big Boy hangry! After one bite of the double crust pizza, I realized two things. First, the crust tasted as good as it smelled. It was obviously freshly made and had the right amount of give on the outside and warm, soft bread on the inside. It was complex and satiating on the palate. The second thing I noticed was that the pepperoni was crap. It was nothing better than a low end, pre-sliced frozen Italian meat stick. This is not the first time I have encountered an experience such as this and it baffles me beyond belief that an owner or head cook would have incredible beginnings and disappointing toppings? Big Roman's double crust pizza can only be described as manque as it fell far short of the expectations set forth by the wonderful dough. The same can be said for the meatball sub. Again, the bread it was served on was fantastic (warm, crusty, and chewy) however the meatballs were nothing out of the ordinary walk in freezer and left much to be desired. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. It was average. All and all I can see ordering this if I was living in Barefoot Bay and not in the mood to cook or go anywhere. If they picked up their game a tad on the meats this place could be plus 3 with that crust, however, the Big Boy says, “Big Roman's Pizza is a serviceable last resort for the half-starved.”

UPDATE: 9/29/21: Came all the way down from Ohio for 2 slices!!! Stopped in here for a couple of slices of cheese pie and a soda. This was probably the best pizza i've had in this area for a while. The slices were large, so I didn't eat much of the crust. Good prices too. I'll be back to try some other things.

The first time we were there we loved it that was probably a month ago or so we went there last night Sunday late and it was desolate the food was cold one sandwich had hardly any meat the waiters and waitresses were on a break at all times. We were very disappointed.

The pizza was over cooked and it looked like it was sitting long why would they serve that? I like the people they very nice but the food is something all together not very good
