Park is beautiful. Disappointed in the lobster roll, perhaps it was due to high expectations. We ordered a Maine and a Wasabi. We have had better elsewhere in Portland. Had a delicious blueberry soda. Note parking is not free.

Awesome spot in the park for a food truck, especially one that sells lobster rolls. In my opinion this is the best lobster roll in the area, you get much more lobster on the roll than other restaurants in the area and it's delicious. I assume the quality extends to the other Bite into Maine locations, and I would highly recommend it.

We had to find this truck after seeing it on an episode of Somebody Feed Phil. It did not disappoint! I got the Connecticut and my husband got the Wasabi. They were both amazing - I was a little jealous that I didn't get the wasabi after tasting it, but the generous pour of melted butter over my roll was a good trade off. The local sodas were great, an unexpected treat were their homemade whoopie pies! So good! They also have a nice selection of non seafood sandwiches for those that don't eat it.

We had ordered from here while we were at Orange Bike Brewing next door, as the two places are partners. It took about 20 mins to get our food, which was fine, but our lobster roll had cold lobster on it like it had just been taken out of the fridge and put on the roll, so that wasn’t what we were expecting. The menu also said that each sandwich comes with a side of cape cod chips, so I thought I’d get a whole bag of chips as a side, but it appeared that they had split a single serving bag between our 2 meals. The pulled pork sandwich was hot and the flavor was ok, but it was a little expensive for what it was. Overall our order for a lobster roll with extra lobster and a side of butter and a pulled pork sandwich, both with a side of chips, came to a total of about $53, and the food really just isn’t good enough to warrant such a high price. We were disappointed to have paid that much for what we ended up getting.

I really wanted to like this place. However, after my partner and I found multiple pieces of lobster shell in our lobster roll, it totally ruined the experience. Especially given the price you pay. The location is amazing. Whenever I visit the area again, I'll check out the other lobster roll truck down by the lighthouse. Hopefully, Bite Into Maine will get better when removing the lobster meat from the shell.

Lobster rolls were okay at best. There were numerous other trucks that served the same thing for $5–$10 dollars cheaper with the same rates. Take my advice, don’t eat at the first food truck you see here, there are plenty more with better deals. This one was a sub par ripoff 👎🏻

We did have to wait in a pretty long line, somewhere between 40 min to an hour but it was definitely worth it. We got pretty lucky with parking are were able to get a spot right by the stand. Very good but we have definitely had better. The pros: the quality of the lobster was top notch. Couldn’t ask for more. And the setting is beautiful. The cons: over an hour wait. And we didn’t realize the only thing hot on the “Connecticut” style lobster roll was the butter. The lobster itself is served cold. Sorry, but there is nothing more delicious than a warm ct style lobster roll with butter. There was a place north of Portland where we had it that way last year and it was great. Will go back there next time. Until then..will enjoy our (real) CT style lobster rolls…in CT…and when in Portland we will eat delicious oysters and their yummy locally caught fish instead.

Mixed. This is the food truck location at the main road into the Portland head light house. The food (lobster rolls, chips, grilled cheese) were all pretty good (grilled cheese actually the best) but felt a little duped on the value, price. All lobster rolls are expensive - I acknowledge. But there is another truck just down the hill, by the lighthouse that you can't see, which seemed to be a much better value. Can't say for sure because I didn't obviously eat there but they were much cheaper it seemed per the menu. Now you know the options. Buy the $5 grilled cheese here and go down the hill for the rest is my advice. Beautiful location of course and setting.

There was a bit of a wait, but it was such a wonderful place to be that we didn't mind at all. We got a Connecticut, which is a lobster roll with melted butter. They make the roll and pour on the butter right before handing it to you. Super delicious & has to be the best lobster roll I've ever had. I'm not a huge lobster eater, but thought it was super yummy. Will note you should watch out for stray shell pieces as we found a few mixed in. But easy to pick out & did not impact our view of the food at all! We also got the blueberry soda drink, which was very yummy. We had lobster every day in Maine for a week. This is the best lobster roll we had. We had the Maine, Connecticut, Curry, and Wasabi rolls. The rolls all tasted differently from the others, and they tasted good. Everything from the quality of the lobster, the mayo or flavoring, and the bread roll were crafted and done well.
