Spent the evening watching comedy having some drinks and food. It was a free show and fun

Walked in really close to closing, but was happily accommodated all the same. Great beer, great food and great service, Just as consistent as their Charleston location that I normally patronize.. Highly recommend!

Great eatery we had heard wonderful things about. Chips and queso was yummy. The mango marguarita was delicious! Our server, Shawn (Sean) was the absolute best! So pleasant and easy to give recommendations, food was wonderful! Great location to walk around Huntington in the evening.

It's a cool little venue ... They also have open mics every 2nd Thursday and it's an open mic so sign up if you think you're funny.. hell If , I can do it... Then? 🤣🤣

The service was excellent, even for our large group. But the food was superb. From Siracha Honey Butter wings to the barbacoa, bulgogi, and steak tacos, everything was delicious. Margaritas were tasty but a little on the weak side. Still, we loved it.

NEVER AGAIN! I got the Bulgogi taco and my husband got the steak quesadilla and the first bite I had to spit it in a napkin it was so gross!! And I will eat anything, Im the least picky eater ever! I will never frequent this restaurant ever again!! I couldn't eat my food so I tried a piece of the quesadilla and it was just as bad in my opinion.

This is probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve never had. Came in Sunday for lunch with my family, my husband and I were visiting from out of town. It was one of the only restaurants we could get to as the elevator was broken at Pullman so we were unable to get to Roosters as we had individuals in our party and who required such accommodations. No fault to Black Sheep for that obviously. Anyhow, the sticky floors should have been my first indication to turn around. The second should have been that we were offered a booth with a request for a low top table, and a member in our party was a wheelchair user. The third should have been the bathroom. I’ve NEVER been into an establishment that’s restroom was so disgusting. Again, the sticky floors, but the first stall door did not even lock or have a button to turn the latch. The next stall had urine in it that’d been sitting so long that it began to mold the bowl. There was toilet paper and other trash strewn about. The time was about 12:30pm on Sunday. According to their hours, they opened at 11am. It’s completely unacceptable for any restroom to look such a way, but especially a restaurant bathroom that liters just opened. The last and final straw was that we had members in our party that had dietary needs and were planning to order off the regular menu, but we weren’t informed their regular menu was unavailable until after we’d been seated and ordered drinks, chips and salsa, and one member ordered a beer. Prior to making the decision to leave our waitress disappeared, to give us a minute to decide, but was gone and was difficult to track down to get our bill to leave. We did not have to pay for the chips and salsa and drinks we ordered, which was the least she could do. The only item that couldn’t be comped was the beer someone in our party ordered, which is understandable. However ridiculously overpriced an $8 10oz. beer was. But honestly, I’ve never been to a restaurant in the area that was so gross. I’m a Huntington native and it literally looks like this place has given up. This was supposed to be a fun birthday weekend and this put a small tarnish on a great weekend. We left and went straight to Fat Patty’s, which in the future, we’ll just avoid Pullman all together.

Sara the new manager is amazing ❣️She what a manager should be. Down to earth, customer friendly and very nice‼️it was a pleasure to speak with her. Blain is an awesome guy❣️Go by and hopefully get Sara to make you an amazing drink while being waited on by Blain❣️👏👏☀️❣️

It was Terrible, it was expensive for a burrito. Heck even the water they brought us had a mildew smell to it. I'd say this was probably the worst experience of eating out. They have to be making a killing on alcohol sales because the food was bad we will never go back.

Big thank you to Black Sheep’s management and staff for your outstanding service! I would recommend hosting your event with Black Sheep, they made the process and set up stress free, and had a lovely back room with a private bar. Our bartender was awesome and added to the experience for guests. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is just the cherry on top. Prices are very fair for the quality you are receiving. 10/10.

This place was absolutely spectacular. The food was very fresh and delicious, the service was fast and incredible, and the wait was very mild. I got the Flock of Tacos, 3 large tacos for 18 dollars plus a drink. The food was fresh and delicious. The Mahi taco had flaky perfectly cooked fish, with a delightful sauce. The Bulgogi taco had perfectly fermented kimchi, creamy sauce, and crushed peanuts. The Thai Shrimp taco had large battered shrimp, fresh cilantro, and a creamy, zesty sauce. My only critiques were the decorations and the shrimp taco. The interior had a tacky late 70's early 80's vibe, and it didnt seem to fit the ambience of the restaurant. However, without paying much attention to that, the ambience was cheery and overall fun. The shrimp taco just had a little too much cilantro. Overall, I enjoyed the food, the ambience, and the reasonable prices. I would come again!

It's a neat place to go, and the food was good. Their ranch is really good as well. It's a different twist on Mexican I think, with a lot of seafood options. If you like different this is a good go to option.

Have been wanting to try this restaurant, had the 3 tacos and they were very good, the strawberry and rhubarb margarita was outstanding, however I watched 20 people Walk out because the hostess said it would take 1 1/2 hours to be seated because they were short servers, we got there early and by the time we were seated and received out meal the place was empty, maybe explain to people about the servers and the need to catch up before you run all your customers away.

Fun place with a surprisingly nice cocktail menu. Food was good and flavorful. Cool combinations of spice, ingredients and flavor.

Not often am I left continuing to regret eating somewhere unless it involves the toilet, but not the case here. My whole fam genuinely did not like this food or service. The burrito and quesadillas are soo dry, I tried saving it with some queso but no dice. Just charred dry chicken is all you taste. The server spent most of the time talking to a friend at the bar. Just hate that I spent money here.

Specifically this location has had awful service the past few times my family has gone, the restaurant has had maybe 5 tables sat and we are told it will be an almost hour wait, then the hostesses took 10-20 minutes to even greet us and talked about us under their breath right in front of us live we couldn't hear them, and if/when we get sat the servers are always rude to us. This never happens to the location in Charleston and I am sad it is happening here since this is the original. Tbh until something is done about the staff here my family and I will not be returning to the Huntington location. Plus the food at this location is just sub par and not worth what we go through when we want to eat here.

We’ve been to Black Sheep several times, and our previous visits would rate a 4. Not this time. Our order of the “Flock of Tacos” was served with cold tortillas - like they were taken directly from the refrigerator. We sent them back. The replacement order had warm tortillas but it they were not the type of tacos that were ordered. Jeez! We told our server to forget it - we paid for our drinks and appetizer, and we across the street and had Coldstone Ice Cream for dinner. Note that our server was very professional and apologetic. We assured her that it was not her fault, and that the kitchen staff needs to get their act together. She agreed.

Shrinkflation is real here. I got three tacos (all different) and all of them were scrawny. The shrimp taco was particularly bad because the shrimp were cooked to actual leather. This is not the first time I've had mediocre food here. Brunch is much the same. The menu makes the food sound amazing, but I've been disappointed in everything I've ever tried here. The margaritas are incredible though and my servers are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is fun and the place is clean. The food just isn't good especially for the price.

3 tacos took almost 40 minutes to be served. Restaurant seemed understaffed to be lunchtime. No complaints about the waitress other than she needed more help. Food was decent.

We went Friday afternoon they told us there were not enough servers to fill their tables (maybe half the restaurant was full). We went back Saturday evening they told us they ran out of food and were closing early (two hours early). All of this during the WV state wresting tournament which is the same weekend every year. Big disappointment considering we look forward to black sheep when we go to either Charleston or Huntington for state sporting events.

I used to work at the Charleston location several years ago and I absolutely loved the food. I have lived in Huntington a few years now. I went in to eat a while back and the food what just not up to the standard I remember it being in Charleston. We actually had to send some back. Meat quality not great, tacos overloaded with sauce. Husband said burger was awful. Just ordered to-go to try my favorite flock of tacos again. Meat quality still not great, steak was tough, tuna was just okay. Sauces and toppings were done right. Avocado taco was okay but soggy. Just disappointed.

The food here is always excellent. Definitely recommend.

Started off with the chips, salsa, guacamole and queso. The salsa is a little sweet and to be honest wasn't all that flavorful. The question wasn't bad, but still lacked any additional flavor outside of cheese itself. The guacamole was good, not too salty and had just enough flavor in it. Had the hot mess burrito and it had a nice kick to it, the queso that comes with it when mixed helped make it moist to be able to eat Overall, was good tasting and would eat there again

are here last time i was in town for the same reason as there is no place really open on mondays in the immediate area of pur hotel. i had the chicken tortilla soup and side salad. the soup was good and salad was let me just say different, service was good, place was clean and processed reasonable

My wife loved the brunch. The chorizo quesadilla was great. I might ask them to hold the potatoes next time. People in this area LOVE potatoes tho!

Meh. Not my favorite. The Burritos made with Tofu looked like a pile of mush. Sauces didn't really work together flavor wise. Went to the women's bathroom and there was vomit in two out of the three stalls. It was a Saturday at 6:30pm.

Traveling with a Vegan friend can be challenging. Black Sheep made dinner fun, inviting, and filling for everyone in our group. I really enjoyed the interaction with staff. They were kind and funny-- even though we came in just before the kitchen closed.

I would not recommend anyone eat here! Me my husband ate here August 31st. We had been traveling all day and hadn’t ate anything. This was straight across from the hotel we was staying at and didn’t feel like getting the car back out. I ordered the tacos 2 steak one shrimp. My husband ordered their new burrito “the hot mess” I think that’s what it was called. Needless to say it was a hot mess! I took one bite of my taco and it was horrible! So I didn’t eat anymore of mine. My husband kept saying this tastes weird but ate it anyways because we don’t like to waste. Well needless to say the next two days he spent in the hospital with SEVERE food poisoning! Don’t chance it. Not to mention the service was HORRIBLE!
