Pulled pork was good , the ribs tips were oh my lord amazing !!

Me and my wife stopped here while browsing around in town, absolutely loved it! She had chicken tenders and fries, and I had a Philly sandwich and fries. Had to have been the best Philly I have ever put in my mouth! The workers there are extremely kind, and the atmosphere was a relaxing down-home atmosphere. Good prices too, we both ate and left a tip for around $22. Definitely give them a try!

Bbq pork was a little dry, hot sauce helped. Cole slaw was nothing but chopped cabbage and mayo and fries were pre-cooked..Heard the Philly cheesesteak and burgers are really good.the ladies working there were super nice.

Food was ok. Portions were small for the price paid for a bbq plate and chicken strip plate with fries. Nothing experienced stood out or warranted such high reviews found on Google. Visited at noon on a Saturday and the place was dead. Another point of sale sytem that asks for gratuity before food or or service is provided. My daughter and I chose this over Spuds based on Google reviews. We drove by Spuds to see what we missed out on and it was packed. Wished we would have gone there instead. Out first time eating in Pontotoc and let Google reviews guide us. Looks like we need to validate a bit more before blinding trusting Google reviews.

Blacksmith BBQ exceeded my expectations with its impeccable service, warm ambiance, and a delectable array of dishes that left me craving for more. I want to visit again.

A few years ago I tried this place and it was really bad. So I avoided a couple of years of me and my son decided we would stop and give it another try and it's absolutely worse than it was the first time I can't believe this place is still in business. No flavor burnt old meat. I definitely would not recommend eating at this place you would be better off eating barbecue out of a grocery store.

Not the greatest ambiance, but I love to do takeout. Wish they were open for dinner. I like the char on the pulled pork. Sides are average. Can't understand the lack of masks.

We've been here one time, and while the BBQ was good, and the staff was nice, it was a mixed experience. The sign on the door said 'masks required', and we were under a statewide mandate to wear masks. The place was packed with softball players, and nobody, including the staff, wore masks. Nobody. No social distancing going on. It has limited seating areas, and they were all packed. The BBQ pork was really good, and the sauce was also good. One drawback was the pulled pork plate was just a plate with a disassembled pork BBQ sandwich on it. The pork was on one side of the plate, and the bun was on the other side. Two small sides made it complete. That was kind of disappointing. But, the tea and the pork were really good.

If you like Bbq it's very good.

We had a special company day at the park and they came --use to be a food truck--but now they have storefront in Pontotoc MS...they had a tent set up at the park with other vendors and the food was limited to nachos, with or without BBQ, BBQ sandwiches, cake and cookies and drinks but it was very good and I would eat it again...

Great smoked meats BBQ and sides

Blacksmith BBQ is one of those outstanding little hole-in-the-wall joints that has a full parking lot every visit. Just looking at the restaurant, one might be tempted to judge the book unfavorably by its cover, but that would be a mistake. Blacksmith has some of the finest BBQ in the area, with delicious sides, and some fabulous banana pudding, if the mood hits you. Prices are super-reasonable, service is quick, and they now serve breakfast too. But the highlight for me will always be the classic pulled pork BBQ sandwich with slaw on top, and a side of baked beans. My only complaint is that Blacksmith is no longer open for supper, which means I have fewer opportunities to eat there.

GREAT FOOD , GREAT SERVICE, THEY ARE TRULY GOOD PEOPLE , THEY HAVE WENT THAT EXTRA MILE TO SO TRUE CARING , BY TAKING CARE OF MY MOM PEGGY WIGGS ( WHO PASSED AWAY YESTERDAY) WHO HAD LIVED IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE STORE BUT FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS HAS BEEN AT PONTOTOC NURSING HOME, THEY MADE SURE WHEN SHE GOT HUNGRY FOR ANY OF THEIR FOOD , THEY WOULD WITH OUT QUESTION GET IT TO HER , THANK YALL SO MUCH FOR SHOWING TRUE LOVE AND CARING FOR OUR MOTHER SINCERELY KENNY AND JEFF MOTE

Ribs were little bit dry, order was not packed correct, we ordered coleslaw abut we got potato salad instead.

Great place to take the family or just yourself. Prices are great too .

This was some amazing BBQ, you could taste how long and slow they smoked this food. The pork and brisket were amazing.

Love the bar b que, especially the ribs. They also smoked two hams for us at Christmas and they were wonderful.

Good bbq. However, the deserts are to die for. The lemon crisp and the banana pudding was the rave of our group. The brisket looked amazing.

My wife and I ordered take out pulled pork and brisket with beans, slaw and potato salad when daughter and grandson came for dinner. I must say the pulled pork was truly pulled with a very good bark on the outside. This was as good as any pulled pork I have ever eaten. The brisket was also very tasty. The beans and slaw were just average and I was not impressed with the potato salad. This is not a fancy place at all. Very basic, but the people are nice and the place is clean. I will go back for more pork and brisket. As good as you can find.

This is my husband favorite hamburger steak restaurant. If I don't want to cook, I call and place the order, ready to pick up when I arrive. Nice, clean, friendly people, fast service.

If you like barbeque, this is the place. Jerry takes his time with the cooking and only uses the finest meats. My wife and I have eaten his pulled pork, baby back ribs, chicken, and brisket. My wife is a pulled pork person and I like baby backs. The pulled pork is full of flavor and the baby backs are fall-off-the-bone tender. We both like all the items, but those are our preferences. Sauce is served on the side and you can get mild, hot, extra hot, and extra extra hot. However, I never use the sauce on my baby backs. They are perfectly seasoned. My wife uses a little sauce on her pulled pork and we use a little on the brisket and chicken. However the meat is so well seasoned and smoked that we don't want the sauce to overcome the meat flavor. You can eat in, but we always take out. When we have visitors from out of town the repeat visitors always want at least one meal from Blacksmith.
