DD who? Starb_cks what? Since Blak has opened, I only need to go there & the prices are much more reasonable. The different flavors every month are so pleasing. And let's not forget the waffles and pastries. #Simplydelightful

This place has such amazing coffee. The owner is so kind and awesome too. He recommended and made something based on asking what I normally like and it did not disappoint! Best coffee drink I ever had! (It was the red velvet one) highly recommend this place!

Great coffee, owner Deshaun is super nice. His grandma makes the pastries. One of only two black-owned businesses in downtown Kenosha, and a really nice place.

Recently moved to Kenosha and have been trying all the local coffee shops. Tried the Bonfire Cold Brew, Brown Suga Baby, and an iced dirty chai + extra shot. All great but the brown suga was my favorite. Deshaun also convinced us to try his mom’s chocolate chip pound cake- delicious! Some of the best coffee I’ve had & excellent service! Will frequent Blak’s.

This is my second time coming here, and I've already replaced my Starbucks run. Plus, it's down the street from my school. 3. Service is amazing, and coffee is amazing!

in town for the weekend and lucky to be staying walking distance from Blak Coffee. I wanted somewhere quiet with a nice vibe to work and am happy to have found this spot. I love that it is Black-owned and local and the music is great (Tony! Toni! Tone! is in the radio now). There are wonderful photos of the owner's family and one of the best pictures of a young Michael Jackson. It's so welcoming. Next time I am in town I will be sure to stop back by.

This shop is LOVELY. The atmosphere is perfect to sit and chat, study, work, whatever you need to do. The people who work here are super kind and welcoming and the coffee is fantastic and is at a great, affordable price point. There are lots of coffee shops in Kenosha now, but this is definitely one of the best ones. 100% worth the stop in. Quit going to Starbucks and come here!!

Without a doubt, it's the best coffee shop in Kenosha. The Lighting Bolt energy drinks are made with plant-based energy and I love them because they DO NOT make you jittery. I crave them all the time. I love that the seasonal menu always brings new and interesting drinks with fun details (like strawberry cold foam on an iced chocolate coffee) and dessert cups that are FIIIIRE. I'm biased, but the mural is cool. 😎

Not only do they have good coffee, and expertly steamed-and-frothed milk for a cappuccino or latte, they have a nice assortment of delicious flavors of sugar-free syrups to add to things. I surely appreciate that, as a diabetic. I had some sugar-free white chocolate syrup added to my cappuccino today, and it was absolutely delightful!

Delivered an Instacart order to Deshaun and he was generous enough to offer me a coffee. It was delicious. The establishment has a great vibe to it. If you’re ever in downtown Kenosha or just looking for a new spot to try out I highly recommend stopping in!

Excellent espresso! You won't get taste like this at Starbucks. Plus the owner/server is super nice.

Stopped in for a regular drip coffee and they were fresh out so the barista went out of his way to make a modified Americano. He also recommended some beans to try. Great experience and positive atmosphere!

Iced chai tea addict from Starbucks but tried this place after having an appointment across the street and so upset I haven’t tried this before best chai I’ve ever had, size is bigger and cheaper than Starbucks. Can’t wait to try different drinks from here.

Have only been to Blak Coffee a few times (would go more often if I lived closer), but the drinks and pastries have always been wonderful. Just shared a cold brew and latte flight and a piece of sweet potato pound cake with my daughter. Each coffee was unique and flavorful. The service is good and people are very friendly. I like that they have a wide selection of drinks; more than I’ve seen in any other coffee shop. Would love to see them to be able to expand their space, add some comfy seating and a small menu of food items (sandwiches, wraps, etc.). I know they are a fairly new shop so hopefully as they grow, they can expand. Will definitely be going back!

Great coffee, atmosphere and experience!

Walked into shop, staff did not say a word to me, didn't ask if I needed help. This was my first time in store!! I asked for a large Chai and received a small due to the fact that the owner was too busy speaking and smiling at another customer who just walked in! I will not ever go there again!!! You should treat all of your customers the same, not just the ones that you fancy and neglect the others!!! Not a good way to do business!! OH YES. THE TEA TASTED HORRIBLE!

I visited Blak Coffee for the first time and it was such a positive experience. The owner and staff were welcoming and inviting. I ordered one of the new flights, and oh my goodness. All of my drinks were expertly crafted. Each drink was over the top delicious and I am hard pressed to say which I enjoyed best. I tried two coffee drinks, a chai, and an orange dream and I would recommend ordering any of those! Keep doing what you’re doing! Fantastic drinks and vibe!

Great coffee and wonderful service

Loved the coffee and the cute vibe of the shop. It's unique and personal with specially named beverages with photos of what looks like family members. If you want to support a small business I'd highly recommend this one. Not too far of a walk from Herzing University if you're a student there.

The vanilla foam topper made this one of the best coffees I've ever had. Great spot.

Love, love, love! Got me an iced chai latte with oat milk and a dash of French vanilla syrup and it was the bomb! Safe to say, I will not be returning to Starbucks!

It's beautiful to have witnessed the success, journey, and growth of blak coffee in such a sort amount of time. & Then to talk about the actual atmosphere of the cafe, JUST WOW!! A whole vibe & at the same time, just so beautifully created. There's no better place to buy your coffee.

Such a pleasant experience! Warm and welcoming with fabulous smells. Owner is wonderful. Have had both coffee drinks and energy drinks. Can't complain about either! Anything I've ordered has pleased the palate. Also LOVE the mural done by local artist Jaime Brown! Great addition to an already perfect place! ❤️

We finally got to try this place today, fantastic! Really cool vibe in the shop, the owner was very friendly and his love for what he did shows. From our brief discussion it seems like he experiments with a lot of different tastes, I can’t wait to go back and try more drinks.

Love this place!! They have something for everyone including non caffeine drinks for the kids. They have flavored lemonade for those who aren’t coffee drinkers!! Definitely hit them up!

My new favorite coffee shop in Kenosha! Always have fast and friendly service. Love their cold brew! Their new storefront has seating now which is great. But it's also a great spot to grab a drink and walk around downtown or by the lakefront. Highly recommend!

Staff is always very friendly and will make suggestions based on your order, including tips to save you money! Have not had a drink I didn't love yet.

I went to Black Coffee with a friend and got the lemonade with a kick!!! And did it ever give me energy that lasted the whole day! I also purchased a bag of dark roast coffee for my husband and he LOVED it! He has been drinking it everyday! ....BE BACK SOON TO GET MORE! I will definitely make this spot a regular part of my week!

I love strong, dark coffee and I was delighted with my choice. I also bought a bag of Afro-Latina freshly ground coffee to try at home. The atmosphere and the owner were warm and friendly. The coffe and peacan roll exceeded my expectations. I wish them enormous success.

The perfect coffee shop downtown Kenosha! Great variety of coffee drinks, and fresh local bakery treats. Plenty of seating to kick back and relax, warmly decorated, and I love the music they play. Great place to start the weekend is right here! Drinks are perfectly made and not so hot you can’t drink it. The love of what they do shows in their work. So thankful they opened up, and are downtown!

I went in with a larger order for my coworkers, we have been hearing such great things, and they were quick to help and give us a great experience with fantastic drinks!! The brown sugar baby was exquisite and the strawberry lemonade was so refreshing! They were quick to respond via Facebook messenger when I had questions and I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m downtown ❤️

We ordered so many different drinks today and they were all amazing. The chai lattes, chocolate covered strawberry cold brew, Jojo’s Valentine’s Day cocoa, and the Puppy Love latte were so good! I also inhaled the red velvet cupcakes and raspberry cheesecake. It’s a good thing I don’t live closer or I’d be in there multiple times a day.

Rarely do I make two reviews. This coffee place is an entire vibe with even better coffee! I highly recommend this place as a meeting spot for business (wifi), casual meet-ups, or drink to go! The owner is super knowledgeable about coffee and very friendly! Such a great shop!!!

Coffee is not only my vice, it is also a significant portion of my life story. I ran a successful coffee house. I’m new to the area and popped in as a coffee stop suggested by my gps while I was on my way up north. As a highly experienced barista I put them to the test and ordered a 12 Oz latte without any sugars or syrups. It was outstanding. (Think hints of roasted walnuts type stuff with velvety froth) It was good enough for me to avoid taking a chance going somewhere else. Also the staff was bright, cheerful, and friendly. Overall the place has an iconic coffee shop vibe that I once identified with being my natural habitat. I rarely give 5 ⭐️’s but this place has it all. Location, cleanliness, service, atmosphere, quality food/drinks so 5 ⭐️’s it is. Having just moved here I’m delighted to find this place.

Just tried it for the first time. I am excited to return. I recommend the Lois Latte 1% skim milk caramel syrup (I think they put 4 or 5 pumps)...asked them to make it sweet.
