We celebrated my dads 70th birthday at Bloom. Alisha and her team went above and beyond our expectations. There are so many details that go into making a celebration special and Alisha made sure to cover all the bases. From decorating tables and centerpieces to organizing our food and beverage vendors; they were phenomenal!

Yesterday, late in the day, shortly before closing, I stopped at Bloom's for the first time to pick up a floral bouquet for my young granddaughter for her piano recital the next morning. As soon as I entered the place, I was aware of the great vibe in there. They put something together for me very quickly with a smile and at an extremely reasonable price. I will definitely be using that again. It's a wonderful place. I encourage others to find out for themselves. It was a great contrast to the experience I had at the store in downtown New Haven. I had stopped at previously. All they had were huge, expensive bouquets, and when I said, I wanted something half that size I was told that they do not customize bouquets,., Case closed. I will not be going back to that place again even though their flowers were beautiful.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Alisha's floral expertise at BLOOM Florist in New Haven CT. My husband, David, collaborated with Alisha to create two stunning floral arrangements for my birthday, even on short notice. Alisha's designs were nothing short of spectacular—each arrangement was uniquely intricate, with a delicate balance of colors and flowers that truly captivated. Her attention to detail and creativity shone through in every petal. It was a delightful birthday surprise that exceeded all expectations. Thank you, Alisha, for your exceptional talent and for making my day extra special!

This is my favorite place in Westville. I always leave a little happier than I came in, whether to get coffee (so yummy) or a treat, get flowers, or browse through the amazingly curated collection of art (including art from local artists), books, jewelry, etc. I have also hosted a small gathering of friends for a special birthday and had the owner work with me to carefully craft the ambiance and amazing food, and created a most special day for me and the girls. Amazing gem!

Alisha and everyone at BLOOM are absolutely amazing! Whenever I stop in, the environment is always warm, welcoming, and supportive 💚 Alisha has so many treasures inside and if you haven’t stopped by, YOU’RE MISSING OUT!

This space is so beautiful, warm, and inviting. I spoke with the owner during my first visit and it was lovely to hear her vision for community building. Perfect space for remote workers to grab coffee, a snack, and post up. I can't wait to go back and work.

What a lovely place! I really enjoyed chatting with the owner when I visited. I purchased some candles, diffusers, and even a book for my toddler. I will definitely be back the next time I need a hostess or holiday gift.

While what exactly BLOOM is is not easy to describe or capture in words, what I can say is that my mood/day is improved every time I stop by. Whether I am purchasing flowers, local art, local handmade goods, or just enjoying a cup of coffee from Cafe Flora, it is always worth the trip. Alisha (the owner of BLOOM) has truly succeeded in creating a welcoming space to spend your time (alone or with company!). Thank you.

I love all of the beautiful items the store sells. They have a very good variety each time I visit. The staff is very courteous and helpful.

Last minute flower shopping, I reached out to BLOOM 15 min prior to closing time. Friendly team member Kiara jumped in to assist me with some choices. Upon arriving a was immediately greeted by Kiara. While waiting for order to be finalized owner Alisha offered the most welcoming “thank you stopping in today” really making me feel welcomed. This florist is truly amazing, with a coffee bar and light fare available, a very creative place. Just found my future go to place for floral arrangements. Kiara and Alisha, thank you for making my experience special!

Beautiful blooms! Despite my 11th hour request, the amazingly talented and personable Alisha managed to curate a wild and wonderful bunch of flowers for my friend’s milestone birthday. With her instincts and great taste, she just ‘got it’ and completely understood what I was after. The flowers were tailored to what she and I discussed about my friend’s style and tastes, but Alisha really took it to the next level with extra touches and her designer’s eye. Alisha sent me photos and a video of her creation and kept in touch throughout the process so that I could rest assured the flowers were delivered. Best of all, my friend loved her bouquet. Every encounter has been so unique..from the warm embrace upon entering the shop, to the breathtaking decor & gifts full of vibrant uplifting culture from around the world, to the soothing music, not to mention they serve delicious coffee and tasty treats. As someone who pays attention to everything, I truly appreciate Alisha’s attention to detail and the care she puts forth in her work. Believe me she will ALWAYS exceed your expectations! My husband and I had to expedite our wedding due to our "flower girl" (our dog) getting very sick. Alicia and the team at Bloom put together a bouquet for me and a wreath for our furbaby with very little notice, and they were beautiful. Alicia was lovely to work with and we are so grateful to her for helping make our last-minute wedding a wonderful memory for us.

Absolutely amazing little collective that serves coffee as well as mocktails. Not to mention it hosts local Westville artists and even has an aromatherapy grounding room. Super cool to go get a nice plant, some local artists work, grab a drink, and sit down and hang out. LGBTQ+ friendly and lovely vibes all around
