Everything was great. Really enjoyed the bang bang shrimp!

I usually dine in, but my roommate has COVID so I was picking up Togo for us. When you dine in, you get a salad with the bowl and roll entree. But apparently, when you place the order Togo, you don’t get either, nor do you get veggies with the bowl and roll protein. (And the rolls looked a little small). This was not apparent on their online order service, but is written in small font on the Togo menu online. I paid for my food online and tipped, and did not argue because it’s not the employees fault, but I believe that it’s a little deceptive to provide such a drastic difference in the dine in vs take out food options (which is the same price btw.) Why should I pay the same for less, especially when I’m not sitting in a table which allows for more guests to be served. Owners should reconsider this different Togo menu policy.

Love this place. They are short staffed but we were early enough not to be affected by this. The curry panang was great and the sushi is always a favorite!

Went here for lunch with a friend. Ordered a standard Crunch roll. I was quite impressed with the quality and taste of the roll. The service and atmosphere were also great as well. Would love to come back in the near future.

Dining at Bluefin was fantastic, especially thanks to our awesome waitress, Emily. From the moment we walked in, Emily’s friendly smile and helpful tips made the night special. The hibachi dishes were delicious and well-prepared, and the food tasted amazing. Emily made sure we had everything we needed and was super attentive throughout the meal. The vibe at Bluefin was really relaxed and lively, and the whole place was clean and inviting. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back!

Love that the staff knows my husband and I like to sit beside each other. They consistently remember what we ordered last time and any special requests we have, like low sodium soy sauce and a knife when my husband orders the steak bowl! Always personal, friendly and efficient service! We are there at least once a week!

My son and I love this place! Our server (sorry cannot remember her name) was great! She was attentive, made recommendations, answered our questions about the menu, and was quick to refill our drinks. My son secretly told her it was my birthday. After our meal, she brought me a slice of cheesecake that my son and I shared. AND offered to sing "Happy Birthday." I told her she didn't have to, and I was good. LOL! Excellent customer service and delicious food. We had a selection of sushi and sashimi with the ginger salad and miso soup..... All was perfect!

Staff super nice. Food comes out fast. I love their filet mignon and chicken hibachi dish. My mom loves their teriyaki tofu hibachi dish (good choice if you're vegetarian)

The place is alright at best. All of the customers were squeezed into one area of the restaurant. The server was nice and politw and attentive. But the food is mediocre. I specially xame for sushi but the sushi at Kroger is better. I guess that is what you get in Gainesville.

Lunch was spectacular best crab Rangoon and spring rolls in Georgia. Yummy Yummy and Gainesville roll were delicious, fresh and on our tables quickly. Great service, fresh, tasty food quickly. Overall an excellent experience.

We visit BlueFin every couple of weeks, because their food and service is always so expectedly great! Meals are prepared to order, as are their appetizers. And they are family owned in Gainesville. We support that! Ask for Teresa as your wait staff. She’s superb, and we’ve dined with her at a prior restaurant for maybe two decades.

Not Teppanyaki table cooking. Comes from the kitchen. Chicken was so dry, I couldn’t eat it, vegetables were less than freshly cooked. My daughter asked for fried rice and got white rice. Not worth the trip.

I recently came to eat here and enjoyed sushi, such as the butterfly roll, summer roll and the crispy crab roll. I also ordered the sesame chicken. The service was amazing and fast: The experience is lovely making it perfect for families, dates, or celebrations. Plus, the portions are usually generous, so you might have some delicious leftovers to take home. Highly recommended!

Today's date March 23 2024. I've held off on writing a review for this place. I was going to see if the lady that runs it would chill out and calm herself. But today I revisit this place for the 1st time since this place had credit card mistakes to many many customers. This place made on my and many cc customers several months back ago. They or their cc company made a big mistake on many peoples cc and they did not want to correct the issue. They were asking me the customer to correct the issue by calling my cc and for me to deal with it myself for hours on end.. I said "NO" it's not my mistake. It's your mistake and you need to be the one to invest the hours to correct it, not me. I explained to the so called lady that as a business owner and as it's her mistake she needs to tell customer to rest assure that she would take care of it. But even her as a business owner or a business manager what ever she is, she did not want to deal with her mistake. She disliked me from this day forward. So this is how they treat there customers when they make or have a mistake. They make it or want to make it the customers problem. So today March 23rd 2024 I decided to revisit as if I never had been there before. I had even hoped she not even recognized me at all. Had no plans but to eat and of course pay by cash, (not cc) and leave. But she was already aggressive again. Telling the waitress that I was the cc problem guy. When in fact I was not any problem back then when they had a cc issue with there cc company supposedly. They blamed there cc company as the problem of over 100 people cc info stolen or charged multiple times. And this So called lady tried to get ALL HER CUSTOMERS to fix problem that the restaurant had. So needless to say.... #1. ILL NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE A 3RD CHANCE. #2. ILL NEVER BE BACK. #3. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL TO ANYONE!!! 4. IN MY OPENION SHE IS COO COO

My boyfriend and I came here a couple of months ago and absolutely loved Bluefin. The portions and extremely generous and the service was incredible. The interior is very spacious and can fit lots of customers so there was no issue getting seated. If you go, make sure you get the Bubblegum Roll and Fried Oreos!

Some of the best Asian food and Sushi I’ve had around the area. Simply so many levels above other options with such a great price point and great customer service. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants some good Asian whether it’s dine in or take out. They also deliver with DoorDash too which is a bonus :) strongly recommend the crab Rangoon

This is a great all-purpose, independently owned Asian restaurant. They serve sushi, hibachi, traditional Chinese food, and Thai food. It's all delicious, and the staff and owner are great people!

Decided to try a new sushi place and came here. My husband got two rolls and I got one. They kept trying to get us to add more rolls to our order and I’m glad we didn’t. The sushi didn’t taste fresh and barely had any real taste. Overall it was bland. We also had to ask if they had a kids menu when ordering because we weren’t given one when seated.

I have been to many sushi spots around Georgia, and this place is one of the best spots I have ever been to. I have come here many times and the food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend trying the Bluefin Roll. The chili sauce is awesome. The staff is also attentive and friendly. Coming here always brightens up my day.

If you like sushi then you will love Bluefin! Sushi is a specialty but they also offer hibachi grilling, bowls, and plates so anyone should have no problem finding something they prefer. The staff all work hard and are very attentive. Inside the building they have created a positive atmosphere that shows part cultural heritage and part local community friends or partners. They definitely look to be involved in the local community, especially involving children. Visited again almost a year later and the food is still amazing, hard working staff and a beautifully decorated atmosphere. Very busy but got us seated, food ordered and eating within 25 minutes! Ate here again on 01/18/2024. We did wait for just a few minutes but then got seated. They have a sign up explaining that they are short staffed but we didn't notice any delay doing our time there. We ordered from the lunch menu and it was a treat because we are typically here for the evening. Turns out the service was as good as the food. Sushi rolls were great, meats were fresh and tasty, veggies were top notch as usual! The ginger salad was perfect, just needed about twice as much! The restaurant is located in a shopping mall near the middle. Parking can be spread out over the entire building but is not as far away as it looks.

I will never eat here again and neither should you. Not only did they give me the wrong order but they refuse to give me the correct order! They offered to give me what was missing from my order on the side (i.e vegetables) instead of remaking the order that I MADE!! They gave me someone else order. When I informed the lady that my food would be cold by the time i drove back she said “to eat the INCORRECT order on the way back”. After apologizing for making the mistake. Why would I drive and eat an order that’s does not belong to me. Then refused to give me a refund! She was so rude and no one should eat here!

It’s such a shame how some people are! The owners of this establishment go above and beyond what they have to for their customers, including making personal deliveries when needed. When you call and the owners are doing what they can to help make your situation better and you refuse simply because you wanna get something for free, then that’s your personal problem! Seara, we tried to make it right for you but you weren’t having it tonight and that’s fine but Bluefin is a business not a place to find free food. Maybe try that at McDonald’s, it may work there. Also, you got your refund although we have it posted no returns, no refunds…..you just wanna bad mouth someone. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for you!

Excellent food all around. Hibachi, Sushi, Fried Rice, and Curry dishes are all 5 stars. For take out, you almost never have to wait. Staff is very friendly. Have had a few wrong orders but they always make it right with a smile, always a pleasure to deal with these folks.

I have ordered through delivery twice, both times my order was accurate and amazing! I had sushi the first time and it was absolutely delicious. (Volcano roll and bubblegum roll specifically). The second time I tried the Indian beef lo mein. Ohhhhh myyyy godddddd. If you are a curry lover and like spicy...it was so good I could not stop over and over saying oh my god as I was eating. The customer service at this restaurant is top tier. The lady who took my order was very patient and polite. Not only did i enjoy the service but the food is amazing. I just went for the first time and will be coming back again and again. Service was friendly and there was hardly a wait when I was there despite being a little busy. I got some spicy basil beef to-go with some fried rice and it was hot and fresh when they gave it to me(they also gave me a side of sauce). Not to mention, it's delicious!! In response to the owner's response: It is not a requirement for the restaurant to "witness" the driver hit "confirm" or "start delivery" in order to receive the food.
