Good and consistent food. Friendly staff.

This place is amazing! We have several food allergies in our large family and they were very knowledgeable and kind as we went through the menu for a take out order. They were very accommodating and everything was delicious! I have a shellfish and gluten allergy and instead of making me feel like I was an annoyance they made me feel very welcome, which isn't the case with many restaurants.

Had the Lo Mein and potstickers and it was delicious. Great service! Will definitely be back

I have been here twice and today my friend offered this as an option for lunch. A bit of a drive but certainly worth it. We opted to sit outside as it was a very nice day. The waitress cleaned the table and chairs. My friend and I looked at the menu board prior to our seating. We ordered the 4 Spring Rolls as an appetizer ($13.50). Sauces are awesome! My friend had the Asian platter (17.50) with a meat skew. I had the Seafood Lover's Fried Rice - Shrimp, Scallops, and more ($21.00). And the kicker, we shared a Coconut Creamed piece of pie that was on the menu board. Awesome and tasty. We had Iced Tea to drink and non-sweet; however they provide sugar subs. The food is awesome. Our meals were delicious. Just under $60 for two but worth it!

Great meal last night at Board Wok. The food always tastes so fresh and delicious. Nothing like the pre-made and frozen food you get at most other Asian restaurants. The chicken teriyaki skewers and sesame beef tenderloin were the highlights. Excellent service. Family style brightly lit atmosphere.

Reliably delicious every single time. Service is a team effort and very genuine. Great local artwork reflecting the Sandbridge area. I can vouch for the beef and broccoli, kev's fried rice, Charlotte's shrimp, pad Thai special, and General Tso's. All delicious, and all prepared with the signature Boardwok flare.

Have been coming here for over 2 years and portion sizes keep getting smaller. Shown is a chicken and broccoli where I got 5 pieces of small chicken. The portion size no longer justifies the price.

I’ll never get regular Chinese takeout again. Pepper Jacks are also the best appetizer here with the fruit salsa, so good!

First time ordering from Boardwok. It had just opened at 4:30 Saturday and we were right at the store so I went in. Simple order, two chicken terriyakis, one with sauteed asian vegetables and one with fried rice. Had been recommended by friend who is a regular there and good friend. Got home and the sauteed asian vegetables looked like a double order of green beans and my fried rice was fried rice noodles. That was just a mistake on the order I assume. Ordered it inside, not over the phone. The chicken terriyaki skewers were very chewy and the taste was average at best, Will probably give it one more try but definitely not chicken. Dissapointed.

It's a small, hole in the wall type of place. The food was great and came in good portions. The waitress was very open to questions, made great suggestions, and was very kind. The food also came out relatively fast. I would go again.

Ok...its two returns to this gem of a restaurant in a month. Both times I had Kevin's Asian Noodles (Pancit). Probably the best pancit I've had in a long time. It was huge...lots of shrimp, pork and chicken. Ask for the low sodium soy sauce and it is delish! If you come at early dinner time, there is a steady flow of orders to go. Come later and the tables are full. That tells alot. It seems the waitresses recognize the regulars.

The freshest Asian style food I've ever tasted. I've only ever ordered pickup, however when I sit down at home to eat, it taste like they passed it to me from a grill right in front of me.

Nice location and it's not your usual standard Chinese restaurant with the same menu you see everywhere in the country. The staff is friendly and service was quick. I took off 1 star because we had a takeout order and when we got back home, we found we were missing a veggie roll from one of the orders. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the place.

Excellent food, excellent service, and generous portion sizes. Based on other reviews, I tried Kev's Favorite Lo Mein and I was not disappointed! Fantastic flavor and plenty of shrimp and scallops. The rest of my family had teriyaki salmon, chicken lo mein, and a kid's cheeseburger and everyone was very pleased. Oh, and excellent wonton soup, too. And everything looked so pretty, not just dumped on the plate! We brought home leftovers of all three adult meals. A bit more expensive than your typical Chinese restaurant but you get what you pay for!

Food was great!!! Perfect way to change up from pizza and bbq while on vacation. Wonderful, kind, and friendly staff. Would highly recommend any family go there as there is enough selection for adults and kids.

Got this for dinner on the recommendation from a coworker. My husband got the general tso chicken, subbing in fried rice for the plain white rice which costs a little extra and I got the combination lo mein. Overall, it tasted pretty alright. There wasn't anything amazingly outstanding or negative about the food. It came out pretty quickly and the people seemed nice. I was a little disappointed with the food portion for the price compared to other Chinese places where they seem to pack in as much meat as the container will allow. Would I come back again? Maybe if they had a lunch deal.

No way we can recommend this place, no one wants to spend $16 a plate on mostly white rice, a few undercooked pieces of broccoli and VERY minimal chicken or beef. I wanted to like this place, I gave them 3 opportunities. Two times we ordered takeout, one time we ate inside the restaurant, each time was worse than the last but because we live so close we had to try other items on the menu to make sure. This final time when we ate in the restaurant was so disgusting. Tables were sticky and filthy underneath. The staff was rude and seemed to be trying to rush us out of an empty restaurant. The portions are extremely small for the price and lack any type of good flavor.

Was delivered hot and fresh, absolutely slaps. Mangolian beef and house soup, also was more meat than appeared that’s hiding under the broccoli and sauce 🤌

Absolutely loved this Asian restaurant that was in a strip mall. There aren’t a lot of seats, so either get there early or order takeout. The waitress was very pleasant and offered suggestions. You can even get your adult cocktails to go.

The food was fresh and amazing. Great portion sizes. I had the Kev's lo main and substituted rice noodles. (Most places won't make this change) The shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. The house soup was full of flavor and meat. Highly recommend!

My favorite dish is Kev's Favorite Lo Mein. It has plump tasty scallops and shrimp on a bed of delicious lo main noodles. Menu consists of scrumptious seafood dishes and homemade desserts.

They have best fried rice and best service in town .

Stumbled across this great place while my friend & I came to town for a girls trip. Excellent cocktails, food, & service. Low key & casual atmosphere in a strip mall (has the feeling of a take-out Chinese restaurant) with unique and delicious menu offerings. Clean & following covid precautions. Absolutely a good choice with food options for all!

Food was okay, and our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed because she was by herself. Table was sticky and wasn't cleaned off, with this COVID-19 going on I would have thought that's the first thing they would have done before sitting us at the table.

I have not visited in several years now, but I was happy to see the same familiar faces. Due to Covid, please note that they cannot use all of their seating, so if you have a larger party, I recommend you call ahead so they can work to accommodate you (this happened while I was there, which is why I bring it up). I was with my kids, so it was easy to be seated. The food is just as hot and fresh as I remember it. This is not your typical Chinese fare you would get for take-out -- it's better. They put their own spin on their dishes, and I was pleased by what we were served. It's a hidden gem along the road to Sandbridge.

Read reviews and decided to try...so glad I found this Asian authentic treasure as food was plentiful, seasoned and best in town!

Food was very good but overpriced. I had General Tso's Chicken. It came with white rice and a small amount of broccoli. It was very flavorful. When I ordered this dish at other restaurants, it came with a lot more chicken and usually came with a cup of egg drop soup or other soup, Will not return. Stumbled upon, and very happy we did. Had lunch menu, was plenty of food, tasty and area was clean. Waitress was efficent and friendly. Desert was also very tasty and a large piece. A must try, and enjoy. Try it.

I have dined in and carried out a total of five times over the last few months. Overall, this place has some good food, but a few traps! Pros: Front Staff, House soup, Pot Stickers, Noodles and rice dishes. Kev's Favorite Lo-Mein is my favorite and they can make it spicy! Cons-Dishes like Teriyaki Salmon and Mongolian Beef come with a very small portion of protein which is crazy when they are priced over $16.00 and all it comes with is rice and a side veg. Also- General Tso's was meh, will not order again here. I will continue to explore the menu!

Got the Singapore noodle lunch special. Chicken appetizers were fantastic, the noodles were a fantastic mix of sweet and spicy. All for a good pric. No way to go wrong here. 👌

this is one of our favorite restaurants we don't get there enough cuz we live a little farther away than we used to but we love going there their food is delicious

We live nearly around the corner, and we have never been here. I don't know why!! Maybe its because it is part of a little strip of shops next to Food Lion. There is a good selection of items on the menu. The waitress introduced the restaurant as an Asian Fusion cafe that had an American flair. Kevin, the owner, has been there for 20 years. It is really like a little Tiki Hut that should be along A-1-A. Any way the Seafood Lover's Fried Rice ((lunch $9.50) was very tasty with large pieces of shrimp and scallops and had a very pleasing smokey flavor. The Mongolian Beef was very tender and delicious but the servings could have been a little larger for the price...$9.50 The pot stickers (1/2 dozen $9.00) were meaty and were served with oyster sauce as well as a spicy sesame soy sauce. Yum! My only shocker was the bowl of wonton soup. It was a large bowl but the wontons had no filling and the broth was a little weak. The shocker was the price of $10.50. There were no prices on the menu for the two kinds of daily soups (chicken egg drop and pork wonton). I figured how much could a bowl be. I can usually qet a quart of take out elsewhere for maybe $3.00 locally. Why are there no prices for those items on the menu? I know I should have asked. Overall the prices are higher than other local places but the atmosphere is fun and the selections are obviously made fresh and claimed to be local ingredients.

Not sure what's so fantastic about this place. We went here after reading the reviews, with high hopes. The food was average at best and overpriced for what it is. Will not be back.

Kev’s Rice noodles are the best. Highly recommend. The food is very fresh cooked to order. Not the same old Chinese carry out not even close. Spring rolls are light and not greasy. Mongolian beef is very good also. Green beans are fresh and local.
