The chicken picante is my favorite sandwich, and the homemade chocolate chip cookies are delicious as well. I also recommend their salads! Extremely fresh and tasty. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, nothing is overpriced. I highly recommended this place for lunch.

Not nice people and they have those minimum purchase for cars and it takes a longgggggg time for the order to be ready. Not worthy.

I worked at the music school across the parking lot for years and I would always come over and order the London Broil with two adjustments (a bit extra toasted, and extra sauce). I came in there so often that they started calling it the 'Kevin Special', and it made that place feel a whole lot like home. I moved away and I miss it!

Beware, DoorDash charges no delivery fee for pickup orders, but they charge a higher price per item than ordering right from the restaurant. Don’t do DoorDash.

Small little spot. That's a great great quick lunch. Healthy options. Vegetarian options, dietary restrictions can be accommodated there. I ordered a salad with the lentils. It was absolutely delicious, personally, I like a larger salad with more greens but that's just me because I'm a volume eater. My son got one of the Italian style sandwiches. Sandwiches their bread is fantastic! Crusty lovely rise. That's rare. They really shine as their bakery.

It’s a small restaurant, but very popular. It’s always crowded when lunchtime or weekends. But the sandwich there is really delicious. But the soup there is just so so. I haven’t try the deserve their yet. Maybe can try next time.

Great bread, amount of beef on London broil isn’t always consistent

There are loads of good and even great sandwich stores in the area, but if you want the best sandwich you can get, come here and get a London Broil. It's the best sandwich in the area and it's not even a close competition, swing by for a LB, try some of the other great sandwiches or baked goods. If you need a small side, give the potato salad a shot, it's also great.

Super good. Wasn’t expecting it to be so full of flavor. The bread is amazing. The chicken was soft and depth of flavor and the veggies were so good. Would definitely eat here again.

Still the best quick sandwich spot around! Picante Chicken Sandwich and London Broil Sandwich are amazing! Everything is made fresh including the breads. They have some great side dish alternatives to chips as well... grab a small side of cous cous! Oh, and they have fresh baked pastry desserts if you want to indulge.

I just recently discovered this sandwich shop with a local friend and it's delicious. You get the smell of fresh baked bread as you walk in. Their menu is simple. The warm sandwiches are the way to go with a good amount of meat, grilled veggie spread, and hot pickle relish that works well together. I wish I took a picture of the sandwich as I had a hot picante turkey sandwich, and my friend enjoyed the picante chicken sandwich. Two sandwiches and 2 drinks total $25. The price is comparable to other sandwich shops and is sold a la cart.

Just discovered this place last week and I returned 3X already. The Lindon Broil is delicious. I also like their soups.

They don't need another 5 star review but that London Broil sandwich is so good they deserve one. It's so good that I never get anything else, but I'm going to venture out in my next visits. The only thing I would want different on it is a horseradish sauce, but I might ask for extra sauce and see how that goes since it does have Dijon mustard in it; I want a little more spice. My only criticism of the place is that I always forget about the baked goods when I'm ordering and don't realize it until I see them while waiting for my order so I have to do a second transaction. If you had a little display case by the registers you may sell more, or at the very least save me another transaction, haha. Sandwich, extra roll, small potato salad and a baked good is my usual order. It's all so good. Keep up the good work. I have to come into the office a few times per week and this is the only silver lining.

I cannot say enough good things about this place; the owner, the atmosphere, the food…everything is phenomenal. My fiancé and I moved from MD about 2 years ago and just came back for the holidays and Bon fresco was the first place we stopped! The food is still amazing as always. The London Broil sandwich is the best sandwich in the area. Toasted, melted cheese, onions, on a great tasting ciabatta bread. Love it. I will return and recommend to family and friends.

Local hidden gem with the best sandwiches in Columbia. The bread is fantastic with a crispy crust and soft inside. The picante chicken is my go-to but the London broil is another good one. Don't sleep on the salads neither because they come with a piece of the yummy bread, too. I recommend the chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

Best sandwiches around. Truly magnificent quality bread, some of the best I have ever eaten. The London broil sandwich is especially good. When my dad was visiting I took him here and he loved it so much he snuck out to go buy another sandwich without telling anyone.

Love this place. Been coming here for many many years. Love that potato salad and that steak sandwich. The owners Mr Koh and his wife are the loveliest people in the world. After moving away I occasionally drop by and they still remember me all these years. Love this place to the moon and back.

Quick sandwich + shop - mostly take out with some basic seats for those wanting to dine in. Their take on ciabatta bread makes these sandwiches rock. A great selection of meat toppings, with various combinations. My favorite is the Genoa followed by the London broil - both excellent!!! Very good choices for salads with creative toppings; vegetarian options for sandwiches as well. I especially like the grilled veggies and often pay the extra to have it on my sandwich. The rotating soup selection is good, so much better than at the mass produced chains. Spicy Peanut and Tomato Saffron 👍 Good selection of pastries and 🍪

The picanté chicken is fire. The rice flour they use in the bread gives the bread nice texture. I love that Bon Fresco is a lot healthier and faster than fast food chains.

I had the Brie sandwich, it was absolutely delicious! We ordered for lunch at the office today and I hope we do that tomorrow again. Only downside is their side options are limited. I saw they have potato salad but it wasn’t an option online.

Frequented here for many years. The owner was always here. Great sandwiches. The bread is what makes it special. It's always toasted to perfection (as long as you eat it there). Even if you don't like Ciabatta, this one is different, lighter, happier. They got rid of the red baskets. I wish they brought it back. One sandwich is usually not enough food for me. So get some sides if you are like me.

Bon Fresco is excellent. Good menu that’s filled with quality ingredients. The quality of their rolls is by far their best attribute. Ambience is no frills. Just the basics. Obviously that isn’t why people go here.

This place is a gem. The bread is divine and it makes the sandwiches quite special. The lentils are to die for. The salads are my go to. The spicy peanut soup (Tuesdays) is fantastic. Small businesses like this are what makes the Columbia food scene so special. Never say no to Bon Fresco.

Usually good but sandwich tasted stale and soggy at end of day. Bread wasn't cooked or toasted enough. Don't recommend getting sandwiches there in the evening.

Wow, ordered 6 sandwiches for takeout. Owner is great, hard working. All the sandwiches were A-1. Meat sliced thin, combinations of peppers, etc perfect, and of course the bread! Will be back. had London broil, Capri, Venice, chicken curry, corned beef, Capri. All super!!

Great place to get a fresh sandwich

I've been a huge fan of Bon Fresco since they first opened and they continue to be the best sandwich place around. The bread is just the right amount of crusty on the outside to give you that crunch without being too hard. The vegetables in the salads and sandwiches are always fresh and I've personally witnessed the staff sorting through the veggies and discarding wilted ones from their supplier to ensure quality. The meats are well prepared and the flavors are just right. My favorite sandwiches are the picante pork which has just the right amount of heat and their London broil, with the light creamy sauce and onion and pepperiness from the greens to balance things out. Their soups and their take on potato salads are fantastic as well and I pretty much am not allowed to go home without picking up a couple of their chocolate chip cookies for my wife. The owner, Mr Ko is always friendly and ready to greet customers with a warm smile when he's not busy in the kitchen. Highly recommend you try this place for yourself if you haven't been here before.

Something has to be said for a place that can continue its consistency year after year. We first came across place after moving to Columbia in 2013. Falling in love with the London Broil sandwich almost instantly. Fast forward 9 years later and the occassional day trip up to Maryland for I’m Northern Virginia and stopping in for that comforting sandwich. They’re Tomato soup is always a great pairing too. And they’re pastries you can never go wrong with either, especially the chocolate croissant.

What has happened to my favorite gourmet sandwich shop?!?....I use to religiously get the London broil sandwich for years with potatoe salad. I moved to NC 8 years ago visited Bon frescos 29 October when I came up to see my daughter.I promised her the best sandwich she ever had. The London broil sandwich is a shell of it's former self. See my attached pics. 1pic is from 8 years ago the other is from 29 October.... I'll give you one guess which one is which. Shame on you bon frescos.

Love this little gem of a restaurant! They have some of the best sandwiches because they are a bakery, and their rolls are excellent! Once you have one of their sandwiches (my fav is the roasted veggie and my son likes the London broil), you won't want a sandwich from anywhere else!

Thank goodness this small and locally owned chain of sandwich shops is still open. The Columbia location is the original, and it remains delicious. The London Broil is grilled and sliced on-site and served on house-baked bread. It’s an amazing sandwich.
