Dinner was absolutely delicious. Our server was amazing our drinks from the bar, as well as food came out promptly, and correct. The manager Amber greeted my family as we were seated, as well prior to leaving to ensure service was great. What a sweetheart she was. Definitely will return.

EXCELLENT dining experience! Met six friends for our monthly dinner and Bonefish delivered a lovely experience. Our entrees included scallops and grilled shrimp, rainbow trout, salmon, and bone in pork chop. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service..(thank you, Hallie, for your first-class service! You did a great job which added to our lovely evening.) Also, Michelle, who was the superstar manager on duty came by more than once to ensure everything was delicious and if we needed anything. A great team! This dinner reminded me why Bonefish is my favorite Louisville restaurant. Be sure to sign up for their Dine Rewards. My husband and I had a fabulous dining experience last Saturday. Our server, Dorian, was the perfect balance of checking in just often enough without it being too much and made some of the best martinis we have ever had. If you want a place that makes an awesome pork chop or a great crab and fontina frittata this is the place for you! We can't stop thinking about this place and will be returning soon!

Had a great meal here Sunday afternoon.the young gentlemen that served us was very knowledge about the menu and actually guided me to a great decision on the course choice I made.5 Star experience but I already given out 2 5 Stars⭐ this year.Great experience though

We made reservations seeing as we had an hour drive to get there. Once there we were promptly sat, at a table directly under an ac vent blowing so hard my hair was blowing. It was refrigerator cold in the dining area, so cold that our food was cold before we finished eating. The food itself: the bang-bang shrimp, usually our favorite, was lacking in batter and flavor. I had the special, black cod. The fish was so small it was barely seen under the over-abundance of sauce and what was supposed to be lump crab. The rice portion was the biggest portion of anything on the plate. My husband had the steak & crab cake. The steak had no seasoning at all, and the crab cake was smaller than the ramekin of sauce on the side. Also, at a nice restaurant, one should not expect to see facial hair on the servers...especially female servers. This was one of our favorite restaurants for a special date night, but we will not return after this visit. Extremely disappointed.

Camron was our server for a date night with my wife. He made our visit exceptional. Recommended dishes for my wife and I and had a super great attitude. When we return we will be looking for camron to serve us again.

When I first noticed Bonefish Grill in 2018,we talked about what the restaurant experience was like and how good the food was.The waitress was magnificent in the way that she greeted us with a warm smile.With the lights not so bright made for a romantic and pleasant atmosphere.Yes,the food was delicious and very tasty.

The service and the restaurant was nice. However, I ordered a burger with bacon. Thinking I was going to get a fresh ground beef burger as advertised, I received a frozen patty. Not only was the patty not fresh, it was burnt. The bacon was even burnt. The fries was the only edible food. And they were salty. This was my first time ever eating Bonefish and I'm disappointed. Will not eat here again. Wasted time and money

Waitress was terrible. Did not check on us nor orders. Appetizer plates never picked up. Waitress full of excuses. Chilean sea bass quantity was not worth $38.00. Slow delivery of food, most likely cause was waitress.

Food and service was excellent, the pairing of food and bourbon could have been closer together. Over all experience was excellent and would do it again.

Brought two friends from out of town. As we walked in we were very surprised that the restaurant was only 1/3 occupied. It was very weary dark. At our table for four, we could not read our menus without picking up the candles (we asked for a second candle). The waitress was a bit snarky. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was very good. My friend’s trout was very boney and she needed to hold the candle to her fish to avoid the bones. My cod was quite rubbery. My fork would not cut it and my knife barely could. My husband’s salmon was “just fair”. We were embarrassed that we had chosen this restaurant. We chose to leave to go elsewhere for dessert. 🙁

I took my father to bonefish for father's day and I wish I took him somewhere else. The food was delicious, however the risotto came out cold and had to be sent back. It took about 20 minutes for a waiter to even come to our table. Which I chalked it up to the fact it was probably busy due to fathers day. My main gripe was the waiter we had. He spilt butter off the plate when he was placing it on the table, he didn't say "excuse me" or "I'm sorry", he didn't acknowledge it. I let that go but I couldn't let go the fact that he also spilt a drink while placing it and not acknowledging it at all. Basic table etiquette was not used by our waiter. He often reached over us without saying a word, and would only refill half the tables water. That was our very first experience there and I can certainly say that I won't be back. The food was good but the price of said food isn't worth the below adverage service.

The menu selections were perfect our group, but the service was second to none. The manager did a superior job of making our dining experience a memorable one for our rowdy group of ten. Kudos to the chef as well.

Two of my sons treated me to a Father's Day dinner. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was wonderful. We were greeted like family and promptly seated. Michelle was the most kind and personable host I've come across in a long time. She is friendly, gracious and has the perfect personality to communicate effectively with dining customers. Our server Walter was courteous, patient and provided excellent service. It did take a little longer than I thought it should to receive our food but it was cooked to perfection and well worth the wait. In fairness, there was a Father's Day sized crowd so the wait was to be expected. Overall, it was a totally enjoyable experience and I look forward to coming back.

Evvi and Mary we awesome. Thexservice was exceptional, the food, omg the food, was delicious. Mycwife and I was there for 1st time celebrating our anniversary and Mary and Evvi made sure it was very enjoyable. Can not wait to return. If I could give more then 5 stars I would!!!!

My husband and I placed a take out order at this restaurant on 6/12/24. We sat for 20-25 minutes before we were greeted by the worker (A.H.) It was very racist. Other guest were being assisted with and received their food that came in after us. When the worker (A.H.) took our order he distanced himself very far, when he interacted with other guest he was close. Very poor service from worker (A.H.). When I’m in town I will never go back to this restaurant.

THE BEST poke bowl i have ever had!!! Tuna was fresh and i’ve never had better. Will definitely be coming back all the time now lol. Also, Walter was so kind, wonderful service!!!

First of all, my tastes have changed over my life so what may have appealed to me twenty years ago no longer fill the bill. With that, I prefer "cleaner", less taste "contrived" fare. The Bang Bang Shrimp was suggested but way to Spicey hot to the palate. Good god, something as simply wonderful as shrimp assaulted my tasty buds. And for the salmon, essentially we'll cooked buy the accutrements entirely unnecessary....simplfy, you don't need to complicate. In all the food was good, just too much extra for my tastes. It's like going to any Jewish deli and ordering roast beef on white bread, heavy mayo.

We went here for the first time to celebrate my son's birthday. 3 of us had steak and one fish. The bread and bang bang shrimp was great the steaks were ok but not great I think seafood the better choice. Our server was good but I had put on reservation it was a birthday and even told server but they did nothing. We payed check an waited a while but server never came back. I would have been happy to pay for a desert but they didn't come back to give me option so disappointed. I don't think we will return but over all it was fine.

Food is great, atmosphere is very Sophisticated but no need for a dress code, the price of the food is very acceptable, quality of the food is great! The imperial dip is phenomenal it needs different chips like pita chips but other than that GREAT DIP! The overall first time experience was great! My server Amber was a vibe! She was great, service great, energy great! pineapple Martini Great!!

Bang bang shrimp and smoky old fashioned were elite! I had the Mahi Mahi which was a little dry. The salmon was outstanding!

They were out of menu items that I wanted to try, and the food was a little better than coney island quality. It was my first time visiting. I was disappointed.

This is an excellent restaurant! The service is great and the food is delicious. Although the emphasis in the menu is on seafood, there are some meat options. I had the shrimp-and-scallop skewers, which were excellent. Many thanks to Justin (who works the bar) for explaining the various menu options and for making me (and others) feel very welcome.

Always clean and always over the top friendly. The risotto is amazing. And you can never go wrong with bang bang shrimp!

Server on her schedule too busy talking to another server to come up. Waited 5 minutes for acknowledgement. Good after that but not outstanding. First time there May be back but anytime d on. Maybe in a year after I forget this time.

I haven't been here in awhile and now I remember why. Not sure if I just didn't get the right meal but my trout and broccoli tasted like they didn't have any seasoning on them.

We have always enjoyed visiting The local Bonefish and have used it to celebrate special occasions. Our last visit was very disappointing. My wife’s favorite dish has been the crab cakes. This time the crab cake was mostly cake, little crab, cold and gooey. One bite and she was finished. Sent it back and ruined her appetite for anything else. Now we are hesitant to try them again for fear of a repeat.

Easter Sunday I got seated and never got waited on . Got up and left. Had 2 young boys seating you. They seemed lost. Won't go back again Went to Connors . There's a good place for food and service

Our favorite bartender is only there a few nights a week, and I'm working crazy hours currently but he was in tonight and thank goodness. He just a Angel with sass... lol any issues he solves, and with kindness and respect. Justin is a peach and I am so grateful for him!!

Honestly, I would never recommend going here. I would say Mcdonalds is more luxury than this place. If you would love a restaurant that smells like a sewage plant and serves worst food than Long John Silvers, then come on in. This place used to be a nice establishment but has went down hill tremendously.

Very disappointing experience at Bonefish this evening. The restaurant was only half full but service was very slow and inattentive. Seated several minutes before anyone came to our table. Did not offer a kids menu or crayons (my 8 year old went up and asked for them). Very slow to receive only 3 waters (for a party of 7), then a couple of soft drinks and bread, and the drinks from the bar took even longer. After that our server disappeared for approximately 40 minutes. Finally stopped by to say our food was “being put together” and then we waited another 15. Waited an hour total for food. Thank goodness we didn’t order salads or appetizers. Entrees came out 1 or 2 at a time over a period of 5-10 minutes, couldn’t even bring them out together. The food itself was not bad but for the price that you pay better service should be a given. It was slow the previous time we were there several months ago but this is the last time we’ll be going. What was meant to be a relaxing break in the middle of the week was instead frustrating and unenjoyable. This whole experience increased the stress rather than relieving it. Go somewhere else.

The online reservation system allows reservations to be made until 10:00 (closing time). We didn’t realize this and walked in at 9:30. The staff was clearly irritated and would not speak to us. We eventually left, as we try hard to be respectful of staff and understood they were frustrated. To avoid this conflict, it would be helpful to set the last reservation an hour before close. We had no idea this would happen, as we have never been to Bonefish and are visiting from out of town.

I have allergies to oysters so I don't eat or order oysters. I had a chicken dish that got cross contaminated . I got very sick after just one teaspoon. Only had this feeling once before when I ate my grandma's stuffing made with oysters. You need to train your people better or anyone with allergies shouldn't go there.

Had a great experience. We had the dinner for two. Went with my parents and they had dinner for two. The only issue that we had is that we found a bracelet bead in one of our salads. But the food was fantastic.

I ordered the chimichurri steak with risotto, garlic potatoes, and mac n cheese with bacon.. The meat was melt in your mouth tender and very flavorful! The risotto was creamy and delicious! The garlic potatoes were tender cubes that were packed with flavor. The mac n cheese was not mushy, but unfortunately, I was not a fan of the bland flavor. I highly recommend giving this location a try

Salmon was perfectly prepared & delicious. Friends had Fish Tacos & Chicken Tacos that were tasty, too.

Used to be one of our favorite places. Our most recent visit will be the last for awhile. Fish was dry and overcooked. Basic Mac and cheese is $4 extra… pasta and cheese. Don't screw me. Much better options in town

Bonefish is my favorite restaurant. The Rockefeller Butterfish with creamed spinach is amazing. The imperial dip is incredible too. Our waiter, Alejandro (hope I spelled it right), is one of the best servers we've had at any restaurant.

Phenomenal food! Wait time for a table was going to be about an hour so we opted to sit in the bar area - that's our fault, it was the middle of dinner rush on a Saturday lol. But we were happy sitting there! It was cozy, mostly quiet, and our bartender was great. Service was even faster than regular table service at most restaurants so I was pleasantly impressed. And then we ate the food. SO delicious! I had the mahi mahi and shrimp with potatoes and rice, my hubby had the salmon with mashed potatoes and rice. We each sampled a little of everything and we had zero complaints. I will say we both enjoyed the garlic whipped potatoes more than the... Garlic herb roasted potatoes? I can't remember what they were called, but either way the mashed potatoes were awesome. The rice was rice, lol, nothing special, nothing bad. But the proteins were out of this world. Everything was wood fired and kicked up the flavor profiles, the salmon and mahi mahi were great but the shrimp was phenomenal. Highly recommend all three proteins. We can't wait to go back and try new foods! This place is definitely going into our rotation, I can't believe it took us this long to eat there! My only regrets are not taking photos to share and waiting so long to try this excellent restaurant.

This is always a nice family place to go eat. The most recent time we ate here the manager went well out of her way to make my family feel extremely important. I always recommend this place for family meals.

. We had a nice seafood lunch at the Bonefish Grill. I had the grilled Shrimp and Scallops skewer, which was good. . The seafood was tender and flavorful. Sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli were also good. . My cocktail, a Blackberry sangria was super sweet (not great). . But our server was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed our meal. Decor and ambiance of the dining room was very pleasant.

The Ambiance was nice sitting area was warm and comfortable. However, there host acted like he didn't want to speak to us (could have been a bad day. whatever, still awkward) Sat us down and that was it! didn't even clean the table and seat good enough. No menus. We sat there for almost 45 mins and not one person came over and asked us anything. Not to mention the party he sat us next to looked over at us as if weren't supposed to be there (even more awkward) I noticed the waitress of the section we were seating in was intentionally ignoring us. (Probably because we were a black couple) We watched her walk past a several times and speak to everyone else in the section. never came to our table. I even noticed how the manager did the same thing. (I only knew she was the manager because of her attire). We got up when we noticed another black older couple a cross the room leaving. They came in around the same time we did, so that was odd. The only reason we stayed for so long was because it was my birthday. I had heard good things about the food wanted to try it for the first time. Ultimately, I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the experience and I have told every black person I've met since then to NEVER visit this place! It is very clear that certain races are not openly welcomed in this establishment. I hope no one else has to experience this.

Only my 2nd time eating here, the food was good, drinks were great prices not bad.

Received gift cards for bonefish during Christmas so decided to take the family. Started with the calamari and bang shrimp, both were delicious. For my entree I got the filet and lobsters tail. Lobsters was cooked perfect. My steak however was a little under for my liking, but without any issue the chef came to the table and offered to personally fix. Returned just a couple minutes later cooked perfectly. Over all the experience was great and are already planning a next visit so I can try out the seabass. Thanks to all who had a part during our visit.

Very disappointed. This Bonefish location has very poor food quality and staff. Our food was barely edible and we over charged $9 including $2 for a drink, 2 side items we didn't order $8 ( $3.99 each) and dessert cookies (over charged $3). We asked for correction and it still wasn't right. The grouper and mahi were very poor tasting. Drinks and Bang bang shrimp was the only good thing. Many items were sold out. They will have to do much better to compete with nearby Seafood and Steak restaurant nearby. This was our 2nd bad experience, so we won't be back.

My friend and I wanted to have a delicious dinner. We both ordered steak (med), her shrimp and me with crabcake. It was a little slow getting our dinner, but we were catching up. My dinner arrived and my steak was over cooked. Hers was fine. Waitress got another one coming ASAP.. meanwhile, my friend got a refill on her water. My replacement steak came out and it ended up being rare. Waitress didn't wait around for me to cut into it to see if it was right. She never came back to give me a refill on my drink, but came when my friend was finished eating and I couldn't eat my steak. In total, the waitress only visited our table 4 times. I've never had bad food and bad service on one visit.

While the food was good but slightly undercooked the Service was bad spoiling the experience a little pricey for the level of service we received from hostess and server

I always get the Bang Bang shrimp tacos and Brussel Sprouts. They are amazing. The pineapple Martini is also a favorite. The atmosphere is very nice and the wait staff is very professional.

We go to bonefish every holiday season for the white cosmo and dinner. The cosmo was great but our service was terrible. The restaurant was empty the food was dry and terrible! We were shocked. Have never ever had such a bad experience. I got the haddock and ate three bites. It was so dry and tough. My husband and sister in law got grouper. It was such a small piece that was practically burned on top. Never seen grouper like that. They first came back and told us they were out of couscous so my husband said we will just order something else and when she went to get menu she came back and said oh they found some. Well they brought out all of our food. And the two getting grouper got the meal without couscous and had to wait at least two minutes for it to be delivered in a bowl. Not even over the grouper! Just poor service by a server that unfortunately had no personality. I hate to see this happen especially with all the new restaurants opening around bonefish. I won’t be back for a long long time. Spent way too much money tonight to only enjoy the white cosmos and bang bang shrimp. Sorry about this post but please get it back together! We used to live this restaurant.

Tables are setup as a cafeteria. So close together. They forget about my dinner and told us my dinner was taken care of, then didn’t take care of it. No explanation or response from the manager. Very disappointing!

The parmesan encrusted rainbow trout is my favorite entree! The food is always excellent. Ask for the Caesar salad dressing to dip your bread in as your appetizer. My husband and I have dined here several times throughout the years and will continue to do so. This past visit we had an issue with the delivery of our closed tab. We received someone else’s credit card and the other table received ours. Neither of us noticed as both our cards looked identical. The next day when I noticed, o called the restaurant proving my contact info to the manager. He said he would look into it asap and try and find the other customer as I was able to see his name on the cc I had. I didn’t hear from the manager and I noticed a small transaction on my card. I knew the other guy had no idea. I shut down my cc and reached out to him myself through Facebook. Not one time did the manager follow up with me. Thank god the other customer of Bonefish and I are honest ppl and did not do anything crazy financially. This could have been a very costly mistake. Please check your cc from now on when leaving any establishment- I know I will! Management, please know to follow up better with your customers.

Waited for over 5 minutes for host to acknowledge us at the door. Once host finally greeted us, we asked if we could sit at the bar, she said yes and would bring over some menus. After waiting for over 15 minutes, for the menus, wife went over to ask for menus and for utensils. The host still forgot about us, as another couple walked in, she immediately proceeded to seat them, without a comment or acknowledgement, while wife was standing there. When wife returned I said this is unacceptable after waiting for over 20 minutes, seeing other guest being waited on, and having to ask for menus, or even asked for our drink orders, we decided to leave due to poor service. The last time we were here was not very well either. We were giving this restaurant another chance. Hence, we will take our service elsewhere like Gustavo's, City BBQ, or Carrabba's. I don't see this restaurant staying open much longer

I'm here for business. I love the bonefish back home and thought this would be a great place to eat too. The food came out fast and hot. Nothing to complain about there. 5 starts for the food. The bartender on the other hand. I couldn't get her to come down to the side I wason. When I flagged her down, she wouldn't even stay long enough for me to complete an order. They were about 10% capacity (practically empty). I was going to order an entree, a starter, and a beer. I got out my entree, she walked off. I flagged her down and got my beer after a few minutes. I have up trying to even talk to her. I'm not going to tip my usual 20%and I WILL NOT RETURN to the bar here EVER again. The food is great, just don't sit at the bar! -Unhappy Vet

Celebrated a 98th Birthday. We had the best waitress; young minority lady, so appropriate, smiled, helpful. The shrimp never disappoints. The food was great.

Food and service was awesome. However this is not a good restaurant to bring children. The child menu is extremely limited with very few options. There are no small portions for children to order from the main menu.

Nice ambience, Food seemed average

the food of great. just don't get take away. it's not nearly as good! Especially the band bang shrimp! They give you the sauce on the side and it doesn't even begin to cover the shrimp. Big disappointment if you have had it in the restaurant!

Food was average and $16 for Buffalo Trace and Diet Coke? Manager said it’s probably an error but there’s nothing they can do. Won’t be back.
