This is one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the Detroit area with a fabulous location. The chicken kabob sandwich is the best I have ever had. The hummus and lentil soup are fantastic. They do not have table service since COVID, but they have a gorgeous patio and you are welcome to eat your food in the restaurant, too.

I love this place. Been a customer for years and now that I live close by I order from here almost once a week. My favorite is the Greek Salad with Lamb shank. The food is always proportioned very generously, consistently delicious and worth every penny. Thank you Boukies Grill for always being great.

Boukie's is one of our go to restaurants. The food is always delicious and fresh!! I personally love the chicken kafta, chicken shwarma salad (I add feta) and the falafel. But I honestly think every dish on their menu is amazing. The staff is friendly and they work hard to dish up great food to their customers. You can't go wrong with Boukie's!

Can't sit down to eat despite a room full of tables

Their hummous, fresh baked bread, and chicken are delicious. Will definitely order take out again, however, the beef ghalaba could use a bit more flavor in my opinion.

Boukie's is the top spot for quick Mediterranean, located right downtown Royal Oak. I love this place for a quick bite. Try their chicken schwarma...can't beat it. Also super quick service, carry out is usually ready within 10/15 minutes.

This place has been carryout only for a while, I have never been in. I ordered from them through Grubhub because they were close, and whoa, everything was steaming hot, even the fries, and they got everything exactly right. With grubhub that is a near miracle. So I ordered 2 more times same way, same experience. they were not the best kabobs I ever had, but quite good, and extra star given for getting it so right. Bread must be made there, it's fresh hot and steamy too.

First time ordering from this establishment. Chicken shawarma on my salad was very dry, bland, and not hot. The hummus was kind of bland as well. The salad itself was lackluster and when I opted to have feta added, there was barely any on it.

Boukie's never disappoints. Whether we are grabbing a quick lunch, enjoying dinner, or sharing catering with a large group everyone always enjoys their meal from Boukie's. The food is very high quality and fresh. The hummus, garlic, and other spreads are just wondering. The meat offerings are always tender and well seasoned. We've enjoyed Boukie's for the past 10 years, and even after moving 30 minutes away we still choose Boukie's for Mediterranean meals. Best Mediterranean in the area for the best price. The platters can serve two people for a dinner. Vegetarian platter is a very tasty option for a vegetarian meal.

This place is simply the best. We always look forward to eating here when we are in town. The kibee nayee, shish kabob, garlic sauce and fresh bread are always top in taste.

The raw juice good ordered a kids shawarma with fries it came to me as if eye was feeding my dog no wrap just a box of chicken a waste of a wait and still hungry not what I would feed my child or self sad do better for the kids and there meals there not dogs can't post pictures won't let me

Best lentil soup out of many places I have tried around Oakland and Macomb counties. Their chicken cream chop is also fantastic as are their chicken shawarma sandwiches and plates.

This place slaps every time. Hands-down my favorite Mediterranean in the area. Fattoush dressing is chefs kiss. Staff is always friendly. Never had an issue. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who asked me where they should go eat.

My mom and I stopped here for dinner tonight and WOW. Literally the best Mediterranean food we’ve ever had. Falafel, chicken shawarma fattoush salad, hummus-everything was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend the super falafel pita. To top it off, when we were sitting outside eating our food, the kind gentleman working inside brought us two large ice waters in to-go cups, completely for free and we didn’t even ask. It was a very kind gesture. This will definitely be one of our go-to spots in Royal Oak from now on!

Was not impressed with my Chicken Gallabah dinner. Lebanese/Mediterranean food is my favorite food and I have tried tons of different restaurants around. My pre req requirements are Bread and Toum need to be included with my meal. It comes off as cheap if the restaurant charges separately for toum/bread with the meal. Second, the bread needs to be freshly cooked, if it’s plain cold pita bread. That’s insanely cheap on the restaurants part. The bread was standard cold pita bread in a baggy, and I received 0 toum with my meal. Toum should always be included with a dinner. The saving grace was the actual meal was okay, the flavor was decent but still tasted rather bland. Long story short I wasn’t impressed. For a restaurant on Main Street in royal oak, I expected more. With La Feast closing down the street. No one did it better than La Feast. And unfortunately that’s still the case because Boukies’s did not impress me.

Excellent! So happy we tried Boukie’s for the first time on Friday. We have been searching for a Mediterranean restaurant in the area since moving here but nothing has stuck... Until now’ The falafel wrap was wonderful as was everything else. My husband was very happy with his chicken shawarma and is hard to please at times. 100% we will be back!

First time here, don't get to Royal Oak much -- Came here based on other positive reviews. Ordered the 4-person sampler tray for the table to share -- it was a delicious feast, good variety! Don't worry about the "carry-out only" thing -- Order at the counter, and you can still sit and enjoy -- they just don't have dining room servers anymore -- no biggie. The Manager still made sure we were taken care of until we were finished -- awesome!

Boukies is a light in this dark dark world lol. But seriously, Boukies cuisine is my favorite ever. It is well priced, fresh af, great portions, friendly staff, and AMAZING in terms of taste. You can order tasty healthy food if you want as well- I mean try the fattoush salad with chicken shawarma- you wont regret it. I am not religious but I feel #blessed to live so close to this local gem. Long live Boukies.

We have loved boukies for a while now. But something happened today that made me love them even more. My son has allergies and I ordered him a salad and myself hummus. I noted on his salad order that he has allergies and when my husband picked up our order, they let him know that our son was allergic to the hummus as it contains sesame. I knew this, but I really appreciated that they are thorough and conscientious of allergies and made note of an allergen that may not be obvious to some. My favorite is the rice almond salad with grilled chicken and fresh pita and hummus. The Schwarma wraps are always great, too!

One of my fave shawarma places in the area and one of my fave takeout spots in RO. Great lunch and dinner options, always super quick and the food is good quality. Only thing is like to see is more clarification on the menu. It isn’t super clear that if you are ordering a shawarma combo that it’s not the sandwich- but that could just be user error!

I moved out of the area but return to Boukie's every time I am in town. It is the best Mediterranean in the area! I love the chicken is always moist. The puffy bread is wonderful! The garlic sauce divine... you should go here :)

We got the dinner for two and man! It was stellar! Everything had great flavor and to be honest, it could of fed 4 people! We will be ordering from here again for sure! Also, big plus - the food got to us super fast considering it was Superbowl Sunday!

Great Mediterranean food and a good location. Their falafel is very flavorful and it’s one of my favorite places to go when I’m craving something quick. The lentil soup is also very good. Highly recommend if you are looking for classic Mediterranean food at a reasonable price.

The food here is fresh and delicious and customer service is always A-1 since day-1. Drove from 16 and Van Dyke area to royal oak Boukies Grill because I know that I'm getting great service and DELICIOUS fresh food..

Amazingly good food. Was VERY impressed when the owners kid stood on one of the outdoor tables, the father corrected him then cleaned off the table. Side note-even though the child was old enough to know better, he said “sorry Papa”. 🥰❤️ Anyway, would highly recommend!!!

There’s a lot better Mediterranean around. The fatoush salad was average. The chicken Schwarma dinner was DRRRRYYYYY. Hard to choke down. The grilled vegetables that I got instead of rice were the best part of the meal. My carryout consisted of two vegetarian grape leaves and one meat-filled order. We could not tell which was which because they didn’t differentiate on the box. Their grape leaves also have a little kick to them. They were huge though. Not my favorite place. I like Mr Kabob or Lebanese Grill better

Incredible food. My girlfriend and I ordered a two person platter for carry out. Has enough food to feed you for a couple days. Can’t beat it for $40. Everything on that platter is delicious and fresh. Can’t wait to go back.

This one deserves it! By far the best I have had yet, there chicken fattoush salad was perfectly seasoned and so tasty it was absolutely delicious the chicken breast are absolutely amazing! I am very picky when it comes to how chicken is cooked/looks! Photo shows how perfectly cooked! Best fatoush salad in the universe.

Very attentive very courteous very expeditious when it came to ordering my dinner. I ordered the shish kebab with grilled vegetables and a salad a little bit of hummus pita and then some pita pockets Which I can dip into both to Heaney and to Zieke sauce. Does the steak on the shish kebabs was out of this world cooked to perfection. Can’t say enough good things great fresh dinner loved it and it’s just across the street from the Hyatt Place which is where I’m staying which made it so much easier to get to
