It is always a treat to stop here when we visit the area. We were not disappointed. Our party included vegans who were able to be accommodated with multiple dishes. The mozzarella was delicious as always, along with the fritto misto.

The mozzarella and tomatoes…my goodness. A MUST order! We also had a Margherita pizza and truffle fries. Both were great but seriously, the mozzarella. Potentially life changing! Do not skip this place!

We've been several times. This time, we were told there was no room outside when there remained some of the entire visit....but what upset us was a new staff member served us each time, thumbs in the food upon delivery, including the bread! Felt like the dishwasher looked after us. Sloppy looking staff made us feel like we were at McDs! We spent over $300 on one plate lunch and 2 glasses of wine so hardly McDs prices.

Went to Brasswood last night on a whim and man oh man were we knocked off our feet!! Neil was our server and made some fantastic recommendations for each course along with the companion glass of wine. I’d absolutely recommend this spot for anyone interested and can’t wait to go back.

Such an excellent dining experience at Brushwood restaurant. The atmosphere is terrific. The food and food pairings are outstanding. The weight staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this for fine dining.

The mozzarella was absolutely amazing! We ordered a second one. Then the caramel dessert we had was absolutely to die for. Our server was also amazing, very attentive and had great recommendations! Recommendations! Definitely would go back next time. I'm in Napa!

Outstanding resturant and the pork chops are great. Good service and elegant dinning. Not for children or large crowds recommend this is a resturant for elegance, small individual business meetings and romantic events. Keep it classy and it is expensive.

Beautiful restaurant off highway 29 between St. Helena and Calistoga. The service was exceptional and the food was excellent.

I don’t often leave reviews but for the rating this restaurant has, our experience was quite a contrast. Out of all the food we ordered, the only enjoyable thing on the menu was the Mozzarella. The “Ahi Tuna Salad” was missing ingredients which were in the description and only contained the smallest of 3 slices of tuna, a half of a hard boiled egg. and one green bean cut in half. The dirty martini my mom ordered wasn’t dirty and came with a lemon rind instead(???). The kid’s butter pasta tasted like oily water (unsalted). I’m pretty sure everything was unsalted actually, it was all pretty flavorless. They did remove a few items from our bill to make up for it, which was kind, but all in all, genuinely disappointed in the food for what we were expecting. Sad to have to leave a negative review but some regrouping should be done on the food itself.

Quite surprised with the high reviews. Nothing was bad, but nothing was out of the park. The good: corn soup (except for the corn nuts, which didn’t really jive with the soup; price was also high for what you get), scallops entree (thick, buttery, fatty scallops with asparagus). Not so good: margarita pizza that was soggy, sauvi b that tasted old. Ok: prosciutto salad with burrata (I wouldn’t consider this a salad since greens were weak), blueberry cheesecake, arancini (did not come out fresh - pre-fried and not heated up, but pesto was yummy), ravioli with an overly herby and crunchy sauce. This is an alright place through and through - left feeling like there’s more to be desired. Service was fine. If I lived in the area I would maybe stop by, but if you’re visiting you can skip.

The food and outdoor seating were great here, but we had a problem with our server and that can kill your experience anywhere. Our server started the night with a pushy rehearsed suggestion for a cheese appetizer. After looking over the menu, we saw a cheese appetizer on the menu and it looked good so we told he we would take the cheese appetizer. The problem was, the waitress had been suggestion some "special" appetizer which was just melted mozzarella on toast (wasn't worth it). This was different than the cheese appetizer (cheese balls of some sort with sauce) on the menu. When the appetizer arrived we were disappointed with the mix up, and explained to her that we were expecting the menu item, not this cheese on toast. The waitress seemed offended and didn't make any suggestions to fix the order. It is sad when service staff fail to understand that a bit of understanding and customer service attitude can make a big impact on customer perception of these types of occurances.

Please improve your service. Third visit and third time is not the charm. Visited with four guests this most recent time and the attention was all on them from the moment they ordered a bottle of house rose. I opted for a Pinot. No one asked how my wine was; which clearly had been opened in the bottle for 2-3 days. When the meal came, the server didn’t ask me if I’d like another glass or if I wanted something different. If you’re in wine country, you have to be better. My water glass was passed by twice for a refill. All to say, Brasswood is as transactional as a local grocery store. You get better service in the Whole Foods self check out lane. The server was “Johnny on the spot” … or Jill when the credit card came out. I’d never recommend this place to anyone.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all pretty amazing.

What I love about this place is its next to the winery, there is even a bakery next to it as well. The outside scenery is beautiful. The food is a good price not overly price for what it given and the location. Very fresh and delicious. I had the duck colognes delicous. The wine obviously is great as well. They even have cigars here for sell which I had 1 and great also. Wonderful experience here that was recommended by others and I found out to be wonderful as well.

I apologize to our server that I forget her name. She was phenomenal. If you're reading this, thr couple on their anniversary salute you. We had pizza and arancini accompanied by Syrah.

Absolutely loved the experience and food! The service was impeccable! The food and the wide variety of local wines was amazing! There is even room for kids to play on the lawn which is really nice if you come with the family!

Drove over from Amador Wine Country for our first visit to Brasswood and were very impressed. Adriana took good care of us, and the staff were friendly, cheerful, and hard working. We enjoyed the Pappardelle Short Rib, Duck Bolognese, and Tiramisu. Well done!

We were so glad to find a place that was dog friendly and had top notch food without the fuss of reservations on a weekday. We took a spontaneous road trip to Napa/Calistoga from SF, and as a dog mom to a 70lb Goldendoodle, finding places like this doesn’t get better for me. The property was stunning with a tasting area, the restaurant, a bakery, a retail shop and picnic tables out by the parking lot for picnicking. The wait staff at the restaurant was also very pleasant and accommodating and even let us walk through the restaurant with doggo to get to the outdoor patio. Everything was delicious but the scallops unanimously took the day. Will definitely be visiting again!

This is a great place to stop and eat while visiting the Napa area.

Our food was delicious, the atmosphere cozy, the service was also attentive. The one issue I had was that the bill wasn't split properly followed by a miscommunication between my partner and I on paying the tip. Since his meal was x2 the cost of mine, but the server split the check evenly, my partner was supposed to pay the full tip, so I crossed out the tip line on my receipt while he was supposed to tip for both of our tabs. Turns out my partner forgot to do this and our server was left with a 10% tip rather than 20%. Where this review lost stars is that the server filled in a 20% tip onto my receipt despite me filling in both the tip and total lines on my bill. I'm glad the server got the appropriate tip, and yes my partner and I can work it out after the fact, but I was incredibly turned off by the fact that the waiter decided to add additional money to my bill AFTER I had signed the bill and left the restaurant. It doesn't feel ethical to me for a server to do this, especially after they didn't split the bill how we asked. Thankfully I wasn't on a super strict budget, but the server was not qualified to decide that for me. I am not anti-tipping, but I do think it should be up to my discretion on how much I tip based on my experience and should not come as a surprise later on. I probably won't recommend this restaurant or return due to this reason despite the food being excellent.

My sister said best after eating her pork short rib, “This place is an eye roll into the back of your head experience”. The food is excellent. My family ordered the Goat Cheese Ravioli, Porkchops, chicken piccata, and the pork short rib for entrees and they each were incredible. We also had the Tomales Bay Oysters and fresh mozzarella as appetizers which were just excellent precursors to an even better dinner. Highly recommend the food hear.

We stopped in for a bite late in the afternoon, so we had no trouble being seated. We were told by friends that the freshly-made mozzarella was absolutely delicious and they were not wrong! I ordered the Margherita pizza. Typically, this pizza can be very bland, however, with the homemade mozzarella cheese, the flavor of this pizza was delicious and the crust was light and chewy. I would order it again. We also had the bruschetta with the mozzarella and a side of prosciutto. Again, the cheese was perfect and the presentation of the dish was nicely done with the server slicing the cheese and building the bruschetta before your eyes at the table. The pickled beet salad was fresh and plated beautifully. We will be back.

Great place to dine in brasswood wine brewery. This place is cool, with its nice ambience of indoor and outdoor settings.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Napa, especially for an awesome, fast lunch in-between our wine adventures. Told them we were in a serious hurry, due to a tight window in between tasting reservations. They were extremely accommodating and knocked it out of the park for us. The motz and pizza is as always, PHENOMENAL!

The food was really enjoyable, especially the pappardelle and the lamb as recommended. Next time, I'll definitely try the mozzarella since it's their specialty. I suggest ordering the lamb rare instead of medium, as it was a bit overcooked for my taste. As for the ambiance, the restaurant's acoustics were a bit overwhelming; the noise level didn't match the quality of the food. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with room for improvement in the atmosphere.

The hand pulled mozzarella. That is all that needs to be said. If you come here you MUST order the hand pulled mozzarella. All the other food was really good, but I cannot say enough about the mozzarella. Would recommend with the house made pesto.

Visited here for lunch. Reservation is highly recommended. We ordered wine, Truffle fries, Focaccia bread, margarita pizza and Lasagna. Service was fast and good. Food was very tasty.

Food was exquisite. Most tender & juicy pork chop we ever had. Oysters from Tamales Bay were delicious. Neil was a fantastic host, with great dishes and wine pairing suggestions (butterscotch salted caramel panna cotta was as heavenly as he said) and just the right amount of plqyfulness. We were seated in a roomy table for two in leather chairs and enjoyed a very intimate atmosphere while being part of a lively dining room. A really top notch dining experience.

It was Restaurant week and even still the service was outstanding as was the quality of the food.

The food is delicious. They had a one weekend full pairing meal for $68. They do this once a year. Each serving is paired with a glass of wine. Mushroom bisque soup paired with Brass Chardonnay 2020, duck bolognese paired with Brass Carbono 2020, cabernet and rosemary braised short ribs paired with Brass Bordeaux blend 2016, and caramel Pana cotta paired with top Brass 2014 port. I enjoyed this pairing very much and look forward to next year's pairing. My boyfriend had an exquisite bone in pork chop with a silky Bordeaux sauce sprinkled with pomegranate seeds on top of a mound of creamy polenta. Beautiful

All around incredible dining experience! We didn’t have a reservation and ate at the bar. The restaurant week offering paired with the mozzarella was perfect for my wife/I to share. Some of the best food we had in Napa - highly recommend!

That is the place the "must have" to visit. We didn't make a reservation, and the host asked as if we wanted to sit at the bar. I was slightly upset at the beginning, but later, we witnessed a magnificent show of bartender. He had magic for sure. You must see his performance. And the food was absolutely delicious. Mozzarella bruschetta is the best. Panna cotta is awesome. Highly recommend this place for dinner!!

Stopped here with the family to eat before wine tasting. We loved ALL of the dishes we got!! 1. Fresh mozzarella... to die for!!! Super soft/warm with olive oil and salt flakes cut and placed on the toast table-side! 2. Warm brussels sprouts salad. - Very tasty and great textures! 3. butternut squash soup. - Super delicate flavor 4. Duck Bolognese - bold flavors and no heartburn after! 5. Wild mushroom pizza. - Freshly made and tasty!! 6. Panna Cotta... - very delicious!!

We did the Sensory Tour Tasting. Josh our tasting guru guide was very energetic and knowledgeable on all forms of food and the wine pairings. He gave us a tour of the facilities and wine cave just across car park. Ask him to sing he has a very gifted voice. We then went to bar at restaurant...make sure you try the mozzarella fresh made...warmed and served with fresh tomatoes and basil...OMG...their signature plate. Thanks Josh we will be back and be recommending to others 2015 Syrah came home with me awesome 😎.

Lovely dinner on the patio in the cool October evening. The staff was very nice and even let me have my little dog on my lap and they had a real nice patio heater so it was all very comfortable. I think my wait staff was in training and was a little preoccupied, but constant perfection isn't possible and the piper has to be paid sometime, right? I will return. Really nice place for dinner.

I love this place, normally I stop by their bakery on the weekends for some wine and ... Breakfast. I finally tried their restaurant and it was amazing. Good food and wine. The outdoor seating was so quiet and peaceful.

Grilled sandwich was delicious, service was mediocre, they never returned after serving food until time for the bill. Our waters were emptied shortly after we ordered since the heat was intense and waters were not refilled. Definitely need more shade and fans for outdoor seating.

Brasswood is the place you want to visit if you want to enjoy the legendary mozzarella cheese appetizer made famous by the much missed Tre Vigna in St. Helena. I enjoyed mine with the meatball over polenta and a delicious gin-based drink called Fellini's Muse. My husband has the refreshing wedge salad, the Crispy Arancini mozzarella stuffed risotto balls with duck bolognese and the Schramsberg Vineyards, Brut Blanc de Blanc. We ate every bite and drank every drop. Our server, Neal, timed everything perfectly and was a delight. We were there on Sunday, Sep 10 for an 11:30AM reservation. It was a little confusing because we arrived at exactly 11:30 and the doors weren't yet open and everyone waiting wasn't sure what was going on. Plus, there was a large group already being served on the patio. If you want to sit outside, you should know that there are very few shaded tables during the late morning and early afternoon, which is a disappointment but definitely not a reason to avoid Brasswood.

Everything was great, except all the yellow jackets, or bees (not sure which) were flying all around us and our food. The duck bolognese was superb. I would go back, but the next time I'd sit inside.
