My husband and I have been craving really delicious rye bread since we both are originally from New York. I decided to google “best rye bread in Palm Beach county “ yesterday and came across Bread by Johnny’s website. It sounded so good that we decided to take a drive up to Jupiter and see for ourselves. We ended up buying a loaf of the rye bread and also one of the asiago cheese breads with jalapeño peppers. If I could give 10 stars I would. This is absolutely delicious bread. We ate it right out of the bag and then went home and toasted it with butter. I also used it to make a sandwich, and had it again this morning for toast with butter and raspberry jam. There are many different breads that they make, and I will have to start finding them at Palm Beach Gardens market on Sundays or drive to Jupiter so I can try them all. I highly recommend this small business . Please drive up there and have a taste and tell your friends about it.

Johnny was right. Bread is great, but his Aug 19th speciality pizza with a italian sausage, peppers, onions, etc. was unbelievable. My description of it does not give it justice because it was specialty italian meats and peppers. Unreal.

If your looking for fresh home made bread that's top quality and great taste look no further! This is it! I recommend you try everything frfr.

Went into Bread by Johnny today. It was great! Walking in you smell the warm aroma of fresh baked bread and just smile. The open air ovens are right there when you walk in and you can see that the bakers are attentive to their work. You can also see the intrigue in the eyes of the other shoppers as they try to decide which bread they will take home today. The staff is very helpful, explaining the simple ingredients that produce their bread. I picked a sesame loaf and some baguettes. Both mouth watering when I got them home, which is why I am taking the time to write this!

Best bread ever, many without yeast all with sourdough starter.

Fantastic bread in Palm Beach County. I lived in Silicon Valley for 30+ years and am totally spoiled by the phenomenal bread available there. Bread by Johnny not *quite* as good as the best I had there, but it would rank fairly high even there. I'm a bread fanatic, so finding this place was a *huge* deal to me. Best bread for purchase I've found in South Florida (though I've yet to try the once/weekly from Sullivan Street Bakery). Almost all the breads are great. The country loaf, olive, rye, the pretzel. The baguette decent but not great. Not a fan of the bagels. My only real complaint is that all too often they run out of things (especially the country loaf) before noon.

My sister has a birthday party for her husband. Served Pasta/Meatballs/Sausage/Bread by Johnny…. Had to Dunk the Bread into the Vat of Sauce & It brought me Right Back to my Grandma’s Apartment in Brooklyn…. I definitely ate WAY Too Much Bread but it was worth it…. I’ll be driving up from PBG to get some…Fegetaboudit !!!

Love his bagels! His bread is a bit more dense, compared with sourdough from Aioli, Zak the Baker or even Ligonberry Cafe but lots of tasty options.

I think by now everyone knows that this is outstanding bread. I think the thing that gets overlooked is the staff. They are great, even on crazy busy days. They are friendly and efficient. Everything is so organized. And you can pre order, making pick up a snap.

This is a MUST VISIT for Palm Beach County! Bread by Johnny makes some of the best nutritious, healthy, and delicious breads I've ever tasted. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of bread that you get, and their staff is friendly. Everything is fresh, and they have daily specials for various kinds of bread. I would highly suggest that you give them a try if you are into high-quality and healthy bread. Their sourdough is also naturally reduced gluten and really good for you when compared to store bought breads.

First timer. Love the dough overall. The everything bagels were a little too burned and salty for my taste, but the bread amazing, the chocolate brioche very smooth and tasty. One is enough for two people. There are no prices posted anywhere, but don’t worry about paying too much, it’s a quality product, so let’s keep Bread by Johnnys in business. I’ll be back. The food, the service, the quality… Johnny knocked it out of the park. I was unable to pickup my pizza at my scheduled time. Johnny responded to my messages during off hours almost immediately and worked with me so I was able to pick it up at a time that fit my schedule. The pizza itself was fantastic. There is no other local pizza that matches the quality and taste. Highly recommend

Great bread! We have been enjoying all of the breads for years. Found it in restaurants and at the West Palm Green Market. My 14 year old granddaughter absolutely loves these breads.

We love Bread by Johnny! Johnny is a true craftsman and is truly dedicated to sourcing the best ingredients and processes to make the best bread around! We especially love the cherry chocolate and the pane arioso.

Amature craftsmanship. Extremely underwhelming results. Baguettes are chewy, gummy and yeasty. Soft and spongy to the touch, where it should be crispy, crusty as soon as you squeeze it or bite down on it. If you're in the industry, especially if attempting to create European breads you should know better than mocking the real product. I think we deserve better in Jupiter. I only hope to see more (bread) bakeries in town and somebody with real knowledge and experience will finally show the amatures how it's done! Staff is courteous and friendly.

Great selection of delicious bread at reasonable prices

*first time customer extremely small bakery and asked about bread they had. Kind of wished the bread racks wasn’t so far away I’m all about seeing it up close. I enjoy that it’s bread and only about limited type and nothing else. Reminds me of stands in Grand Central but you can actually see it up close. I enjoyed the chili cheese loaf and the baguette was not crusty and was weirdly skinny in the middle but after toasting it was good. 🥺 Sadly to say the chocolate brioche I thought would be amazing was a miss for me. I’ve worked in bakery were we make a chocolate ,orange and a sugar cube brioche bun it was beyond delicious. Johnnys had a hint of chocolate mostly on the edge of bun, the brioche tasted very “eggy” yes I know lots of eggs and butter go into the dough but it needed flavor or essence maybe vanilla and with lack of chocolate it tasted flat(It also had a wet dough feel) maybe some crunchy sugar on top. I would go back and try different breads maybe 🤔 it would change my mind that I can only get great bread from NY

This is the best place in Jupiter and possibly in Florida to get great sourdough bread. The place is filled with all kind of bread, I have not tried all of them yet, but my favorite for now is Country. Country bread is perfect, classic sourdough with crispy crust, chewy texture and full of flavor, you add some butter and this is all you need to be in gourmet heaven.

Have tried them all and absolutely delicious! Cranberry Walnut on Wednesday is my favorite. You won’t be disappointed!

Love the sour dough. Crispy crunchy crust with a chewy interior. Perfect for dipping in garlic olive oil. It’s set a new standard for me.

Stopped by in the afternoon for a surprise treat, hoping there would be something yummy on the rack. Johnny did not disappoint! Got a rye loaf and a dark chocolate cherry loaf. We may or may not have eaten the entire chocolate cherry loaf on the ride home 🫢😋🤗
