Absolutely love the Carmelo latte! Service has been excellent every time I’ve come in! I’m always greeted with smiling workers! Love the Artesian Rolls, melt-in-your-mouth Croissants, Bear Claws, and Blueberry muffins - it’s all homemade and to die for!

This is the best coffee shop and bakery in LOZ! No matter where you are at on the lake, this place is worth a visit. Every pastry I have tried from here is fresh, homemade, and delicious. The coffee is also fresh and the tea selection is amazing. If you want a big city coffee experience in a small town, you will want to hit up this place.

We discovered this little gem on a recent trip. It was simply amazing! The baked goods were SO delicious, the lunch wrap was very tasty and the cookies ooh la la! The staff were so nice and attentive. Just wish it was as closer to where we live.

Food was fantastic! I don't think I've ever had a lemon cookie as good as that one was!!! First time there and couldn't say anything negative! Great addition to our town ❤️

I stopped in on my way home to St Louis and loved my visit! The mini quiche was the absolutely phenomenal and has the most incredible flaky crust and the coffee was perfect. I cannot wait for my next visit! The atmosphere was so peaceful. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing coffee!! Had an americano and some pumpkin cake and a slice of coffee cake and was very impressed!! Desserts are made in house. Can’t wait to go back!! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Upscale modern looking place.

I visited twice in a short period of time because this place is absolutely AMAZING! I first ordered the pesto ranch chicken wrap and the kickin chicken soup, which came with the cookie of the day (apple butter cookie) - literally could not get the food in my mouth fast enough, it was so good! Next visit I ordered the curry chicken croissant sandwich and the coconut curry soup, and again it came with the cookie of the day (their version of a giant ginger snap) - absolutely delicious and completely devoured all of it! The owners are so nice and personable and genuinely care about serving up amazingly delicious food - I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone (at the cost of them running out of all their yummy items and leaving none for me)!!

So glad Camdenton has a place like this. The baked goods that they make are AMAZING. The bread is fantastic and so is the coffee. Will be back every time we’re in town. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing newly opened bakery with everything anyone could want. The owners bake everything fresh each morning. I sampled two savory rolls and a piece of spice cake and coffee. All were extremely delicious. The savory rolls were SO good! Clean, new business with friendly and knowledgeable bakers. I’ll be back.

**Note- call ahead or order online if you’re getting lunch. For now, it is only available certain days of the week. A friend brought me a blueberry muffin last week from this place. She’s been raving about Brewed Awakenings for weeks. I wasn’t super hungry but to appease my friend I tried it. I was blown away! It had the perfect amount of blueberry, the perfect softness, the perfect amount of light crisp at the top. The flavor was 10/10. I’ve been back to Brewed Awakenings 7 times in a little over a week now. That’s how hooked I am. I’ve had hot teas, coffee cake, carrot cake, sooo many different pastries and desserts and then I finally had a chance to try their lunch menu. If their sweets aren’t enough to keep you coming back, their small but mighty lunch menu is sure to. I first had the bbq chicken wrap. I’ve never had a better wrap in my life. Ever. The bbq has just enough spice to it but not too much (I’m not a fan of spicy, so this was just the right amount). The homemade coleslaw is just enough crunch. The chicken is quality, made in-house, juicy, tender, and soooo good. By now I’ve had all three lunch items and I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong with any of them. This place tops my list of favorite dessert/lunch places at the lake. I’m telling you there isn’t a place within 100 miles with better, quality, fresher items on the menu. The service here is the icing on the cake. You can order online and the food is ready as soon as you arrive. If dining in is your thing, they have spacious cafe-style seating. Parking is plentiful and this place is pretty easy to find (right off “Camdenton Square”).

☕️☕️☕️☕️This place is so impressive-you have to stop in! The bake goods are all delicious-I basically tasted all of them before we settled on the savory ones. The coffee is just what you need. I got a Caramel Iced Latte😋and it isn’t as sweet as it sounds. SOOOOO GOOD!👍

I needed an iced coffee and a place to get some work done and we couldn’t have found a better place than Brewed Awakenings. My coffee was delicious. Sampled some of their baked good and yes please. Service was excellent too! Camdenton is lucky to have this family owned business.

Their baked good are delicious. My wife loves their drink selection. The kids have gone outside their comfort zone by trying new things. Always a good experience.

We just stopped in for the first time and had the most delightful experience! The team behind the counter was friendly, the food and drinks were DELICIOUS, and the vibe was absolute perfection. We will definitely be back (probably tomorrow). ;)

I’m disappointed in myself for not coming here sooner. The atmosphere is modern, yet inviting, and is so clean. They had samples of some of their baked good, which was appreciated, but made my decision making more difficult, because it was all delicious. I chose the signature roll with walnuts and it was delicious. Sweet but not overly and the candied walnuts added a nice texture. The drinks were delicious, black coffee for me and my wife had the coconut cream latte. The latte was balanced and you could taste the coffee and the flavorings without it being too sweet. Cannot forget to mention how kind and friendly the amazing staff is. This will be my go to for coffee in Camdenton!

This coffeeshop is amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The pastries were great and even came out warm! I also purchased bbq sauce, granola, and an herb dipping oil- all of which were exceptional! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Brewed Awakenings is awesome!! My husband and I went there this morning for a pick me up after a morning hike and it was great! Great service, great espresso. I loved my Hammered Hazelnut Breve. Highly recommend.

Their pastries are from scratch and so delish. My first visit I bought the incredible BBQ sauce, the homeade granola, and a BUNCH of other stuff. Bread for the week, croissant, cookies, shortbread bars. Scones. Wow! It was all incredible. They care! That’s the best thing I could say about any food place. And you only find it in a few, special places at the lake. For a long time I’ve been waiting for a delicious coffee shop and artisan bakery to show up here. I’m tired of basic donut shops and cupcakes and mass manufactured stuff with a bunch of fillers and dyes. Living in a tourist spot is tough because many restaurants have been around for a long time. The crowds in the summer means they can continue to exist even when they serve microwaved, terrible foods bc people will still show up. Such a shame. SOOO this bakery is the opposite of that. They care about their craft. Their food is amazing. And the shop itself is absolutely gorgeous.
