I happened upon Brewhaus a few years ago when I took a day trip to Chattanooga and I’ve made it a point to stop here every chance I get to pass through. I happen to have Michelle today as a server and she was GREAT! Not only is the service great but the food is authentic German and delicious as heck. Not to mention, the view from the back patio is a nice overlook of the park next to the river and the prices are amazing! I will definitely be coming here for years to come.

It was such a great place to come and have a few beers and have some amazing German food. They have seating outside as well and dog friendly.

one of my favorite places in chattanooga! great german food (besides the potato salad) and amazing beers and ciders. prices are a little high, but they serve big portions, so can easily be split between people. we typically order 2 meals for 3 people. I love their spätzle more than anything, but their brats and schnitzels are amazing too with the mustards! we went during a trivia night and it was a lot of fun

It was one of the highlights of our girls’ trip! From enjoying music, stories & laughter with Hunter (the amazing owner) who made us feel special by then playing our favorites to Chris, our gracious host we enjoyed every minute of our afternoon. All the waitresses there did a phenomenal job with a smile on their faces. We’ll be back, The Mermaid Swim Club from Texas, Florida & Alabama

Had the schnitzel it was over cooked potato cakes I thought were smashed hash browns, the lady who served us was very nice, kind, well done!

Great food and great service. They showed the European Championship games especially for us. Versatile beer selection in a good ambience.

Great little place with super friendly folks and BIG beers. Can’t wait to come back and try some food. Update: food is awesome! Amazing pretzel (add pimento cheese), kraut balls, sausages, and bread pudding(s). Yummmm! One more thing, I had a cocktail there for the first time, the rosemary grapefruit marg, it was delicious and perfectly balanced.

This was our 3rd trip to Chattanooga and 3rd trip to Brewhaus. Food as always was delicious. You MUST try the kraut balls. The giant pretzel was a winner, my 6 year old ate the "hot dog" and his twin ate the chicken that was "better than any he's had." Love that they take regular items and made them kid friendly serving my very picky kiddo chicken schnitzel lol. Adults enjoyed sammies and German beers.

German food is awesome, unlike anything else offered in the Chattanooga area. Great beer list and outdoor seating!

Fill the gut,walk the bridge. Perfect location! Get you some spetzel! Put it with some schnitzel and and wash 'em down with a fine German brew. Your gonna smile, you'll likely see me here doing the same thing.

As the only true German food place in chattanooga, I'd say they certainly deliver. And as a German descendent, I'd say they nailed the food. They have a good selection of beer as well.

I've left this place 5 stars in the past but these last couple of times I've been here have been absolutely fantastic!! It's like they improved even more on their already top notch food!! I would have taken a picture of the food but I ended up eating immediately and didn't want to stop. My server Gaby was super sweet and we talked about how we love to travel. I heard that Brie was the chef today and she is nailing it!! This place is a gem in chattanooga and I'll always return.

Great place with a great vibe. Spend time on the deck overlooking Coolidge Park. Service was outstanding. Split the Pimento Burger with a side of Potato Salad. Burger was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful char to it. The Potato Salad has a nice light tang and plenty of sausage mixed in.

We went for lunch and the food was amazing! Service impeccable! We will definitely be back.

Great place for some cool drinks. friendly staff. Did not have Jack Daniels, so we tried the Bird Dog Smores Whiskey. Bartender said they add it to hot chocolate. Absolutely blew my mind! loved it!

Kinda pathetic. $45 for bad service, warm beer, and county fair food for two. Not as good as a Haufbrau Haus with is a good standard for German places. Alternatives nearby: - Basecamp has excellent food and good beers. - Frazier Five and Dime is excellent and actually upscale food for the same prices you pay here. - Cherry Street Brewing has good beer and the food is excellent. Good burgers and Pretzels with beer cheese Got the Schnitzel that was just deep fried pork which dried it out and was un-sauced and unimpressive and a unsubstantial for the price. Bartenders didn't come back on a very slow night so I could order mustard or gravy for the Schnitzel (only thing on the table was Heinz ketchup and mustard, which... who would use those at a German place?). Didn't have different mustards out at any table. $17 for the entree and $2 more if you want it dressed with gravy but they should never serve that plain. At $18 just go to Main Street Meats and get the best burger of your life. Why does it cost so much for mediocre fried food here? Cost about the same for whatever grocery store brat we got, which was at least served with mustard. That's not even what really bothered me. I bought a $7 beer to go with dinner because I'm eating German food and it was warm and flat. Didn't realize how insulting that was until I got home. I told the bartender before I paid for my unfinished beer and food and she just kinda went "huh", and said we'll check on that because you're not the first person to mention that. I'm not one to send food back or complain about the quality but this was supposed to be upscale and it was a huge let down. Don't think I have a reason to go back here and really surprised this is rated so high.

Brewhaus is a German Restaurant & Bar that offers some beautiful views, great beer and good food for Chattanooga fun times. Brewhaus is also right next to the pedestrian bridge over the Tennessee River known as the Walnut Street Bridge. Brewhaus is well noted for their huge German pretzel and quart beers. If you want German Bier like I do then Chattanooga has the Brewhaus as the best option. When looking for authentic German food and beer this is about the only option currently in Chattanooga, TN. This very nice restaurant is located across from Coolidge Park 🏞️. This is one the world's most visited tourist attraction in the city 🏙️🌆. We are the number one tourist attraction in the nation. Thats whuz up 😊 ! It's also connected to the World's Longest Walking Bridge 🌉. You guys will also observe one of the most beautiful views off the bridge 🌉.This is either sun rise 🌞 or sun set . Okay, I'm hungry let's eat this is about Brewhaus a very casual upbeat restaurant, and bar. They are located in the 💜 of tourism. They serve a delicious Brewhaus Sampler, with a taste of German foods. Thanks for the diversity 🙂. This consist of their favorite foods. My co-workers , and I also ordered the delicious 😋 Hamburg Cheeseburger 🍔 ,Curry Wurst , Home Fries, and the German Potato Salad 🥗. These foods has their own unique taste delicious 😋.They serve up other delicious food as well. They serve up a variety of adult beverages 🍷🥂, and traditional drinks 🥤. They have an extension on their deck. You can observe the views of Bridge 🌉. After finishing eating, be sure to grab some Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels to complete your meal 😋. Great food and excellent service. We particularly liked the taco/ potato pancake appetizer and the combination pretzel, sausage, and sauerkraut appetizer which we shared among the three of us. I also ordered the jager schnitzel with spaetzle and red cabbage. NADA our waitress was very friendly and very helpful in making our selections. Our only negative was it was not very much of a view from the patio versus the deck and the small number of inside tables were not very appealing because of the boisterous bar crowd. I guess that goes with the territory. There is very limited on site parking approximately four vehicles and somewhat difficult to find nearby parking on the street. What parking we found available was paid parking.

Very fortunate we stumbled upon this place. Staff was great and wow can this place get busy with a heavy mix of demographics which is a sure sign of a well run place that offers good food.

Didn't get food or beer, I'd sat down then a couple of mins later, two tables full of people came in to sit behind me. I wasn't given a menu or anything until after both tables had them. Finally, someone came over, I looked over the menu, waited, and even looked for my server to give her my order, I didn't see her. So I waited another minute and left. As I'm walking out the door, she asked if I'm OK. Oh, so you notice me when I'm leaving!!!

This is a fantastic place for great food, beer and atmosphere.

We came here for lunch after kayaking and were pleasantly surprised by this place. The beer was great, the food was awesome, and the overall environment was so nice to be in. We accidentally left one of our wallets there and the owner came in the next day when they were closed to meet us and return the wallet, which she had stored in a safe overnight. I am so appreciate of the kindness and wonderful hospitality and we will definitely come back the next time we visit chatt!

First time here & they were very busy on a Saturday evening. We sat at a larger table where a couple were already seated. They had no problem with that, nor did we & ended up chatting with them. The food was very good. I love kruat & their's was excellent. So were the little potato cakes!!! It's a must while in Chattanooga.

Really good food. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. I had the Cheeseburger and home fries. We shared the hug pretzel for an appetizer. My boyfriend had the schnitzel woth yager sauce. spaetzel, and slaw. Everything was really good.

So good. Their cherry mustard is great. Probably the best pretzel I’ve ever had. The spray l is wonderful. My son got a schnitzel and it’s great. Highly recommend. Be sure to get the kraut balls for your appetizer.

Amazing German cuisine!! The workers were incredibly nice and the food was off the charts. A recommendation for food is the Bavarian Soft Pretzel! It is gigantic and it comes with three sauces. Nice chill environment! Love it and would stop again!!!

Awesome place . The spaetzle is the best I’ve tasted since my mom’s and Omas! I wish I could have a bucket of the amazing spaetzle. This is definitely a place to come back to over and over!

Brewhaus is a wonderful bar/restaurant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. If you are in the Choo Choo, it is definitely worth a visit. First about the Brewhaus is the service. First rate. The people working there are extremely kind and friendly. The Brewhaus can be very busy, but the service is still excellent. The drink prices can be described as inexpensive considering today's world. The variety of drinks is pretty good in light of the Brewhaus size. The food has a Southern and German flair. You can get a Pimento Cheese sandwich or a Schnitzel sandwich. The spaezle is to die for. The potato cakes are delicious as well. The food fits the area and atmosphere. There might be better places to try, but the Brewhaus in Chattanooga, Tennessee is the perfect place for an adult beverage, excellent service, good food and a sports game on TV.

Food was amazing, drinks were good, staff was friendly, and it's really affordable. Loved it, will definitely go again. Went back again and it was great again. Sunday is only brunch so be aware.

Never knew I could love German food so much! The staff will explain menu items to assist you in ordering. Been here a number of times. Eager to return. Can be a little crowded on weekends but worth it.

Loved the huge pretzel with three selections of dipping mustard and cheese cup. Sadly they don't have the beer cheese for dipping anymore but we made the most of it. Plenty of seating and in a great location with may places of interest.

WHERE DO I START!!??? ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH AND AMAZING!!! The people working there help make that place better than 5 stars in my opinion. Sam, our waitress, was top notch and did perfect! Ty was awesome from the moment we walked in the door. The rest of the staff was amazing too. Everyone was super friendly and just had that feeling of they loved their job and their customers. Other restaurants should take lessons from them on customer service. Let's not forget the food, best thing I've had in a very, VERY long time. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I could keep going. Best place in Chattanooga right now, in my opinion. Go see them!

I stopped in for a bite to eat and a beer after my workout. The atmosphere is very chill and the food was good. Raychel, one of the bartenders on duty, was very knowledgeable about the menu and she was able to help me come to a meal decision very quickly. I will most certainly come back.

Great atmosphere, service was fantastic. They were out of a few menu items when I was here, but I purely came for drinks. The Lavender Lemonade was delicious and the view of the river was great. Next time I'm here, I plan on coming back.

The food is meh its German in the sense that Olive Garden is Italian. And honestly you can probably make all of their food yourself just as good and better.

Let me tell you about this girl and this place. Absolutely amazing 🤩 Nada was her own little dream team and made the experience so much better. The food was awesome I’m a vegetarian and they had a vegan brat:) brewhaus will be a staple of mine. Also, the beer selection was great I had the Weihenstephan Hefe…well maybe about three of them.

We are always on the lookout for a German restaurant in any town we visit and this one did not disappoint. The food was as good or better than we’d had anywhere and the staff was friendly and helpful. We started out with the sampler and everything was good.

The very best place I've ever eaten in Chattanooga! Hands down a fantastic eatery! I highly recommend the King Ludwig Sammy! Fantastic. Please bring back the brussel sprouts!!!

Had a great experience at Brewhaus for lunch last week. It was my first time visiting but will certainly not be my last! The chicken salad salad was DELICIOUS! I had never had a chicken salad prepared the way Brewhaus does it! Thick chicken cuts and pecans were welcome changes from the norm. Big thanks to Ty and the ladies behind the bar for the great service.

I ordered potato cakes and coleslaw. Asked for sour cream and apple butter. Coleslaw too sweet for my taste. Tried bratwurst, kraut balls and pretzels with 3 mustards and pimento cheese spread. They were very tasty. Recommend the horseradish mustard. Grew up with my German mother so it is definitely Americanized german food, as advertised. I can handle more vinegar and spice than sweet in the offerings. Really cool looking mugs but they don't sell them there.

Always the best german food selection and very wide draft beer selection! Nice summer evening spot to people watch. Patio where you can bring your pups! Also in the winter they have heat torches on the patio during the winter still comfortable even if its 40 out

Sorry I didn't get pictures but we loved the food. The sausages were really good, fresh, and well cooked. The drinks are a little expensive but well done. The menu has lots of variety (plenty to choose from) yet it's not overwhelming. They have an enclosed deck that is heated on the cold days. The service (McKenzie) was awesome and management was welcoming. Also they have extra parking in the back. *Dont skip this place just because it looks small . You won't be sorry you tried it.

Good beer selection and delicious pretzel. Would have been better if it came with a velveta, queso or beer cheese dip. Options were only mustard or a hunk of melted cheese in a plastic cup. The mac and cheese bites were also very good. There are tvs to watch sports.

We walked the bridge, stopped for a beverage and appetizer. Atmosphere was fun, smoked Gouda bites were phenomenal!! Our server was very friendly and helpful she checked back several times. Overall it is a terrific spot to go.

The entire staff was absolutely the sweetest. I got the spatzele entree with potato salad and kraut. Phenomenal food and plenty of it!

The staff at Brewhaus were very kind and welcoming. The service was exceptional. They checked on us often and before our glasses were empty. My only suggestion is to add more German draft beer options to your draft beer list. They have a covered open air back patio, indoor seating and outdoor seating. You've got to try the pretzel and the flavored mustards that come with it. We added the cheese sauce for the pretzel as well.
