Visited this place while vacationing in Ocala from Tampa. All I can say is DELISH, FRESH and locally owned. Went back a second time before we left. The bowl base is made fresh. Not frozen like most other places. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality. Must try it if you are in Ocala.

This is a hidden gem for coffee, açaí, smoothies, protein intake 💪🏽, and good vibes. It’s the fueling station to the gym next door, which is its own vibe. This cafe is niche, it’s true to itself and it feels like it has a purpose in the community. 10/10 ~ don’t sleep on it!

Run here! Stumbled across this place when running some errands and so glad I did. I was greeted by a gentle giant - their German Shepherd and he had a tie on (of course because best foot forward). Caffeine + smoothie bowls + a lovable fur baby = sold. The coffee is great and they have non dairy friendly options. The smoothie bowls are delicious and you can get really any combination you're looking for. Being attached to a fitness facility, they also have supplements, shirts, healthy meal prep, smoothies, etc. The staff/owners are wonderful. Not a great place to sit and work just as a heads up. There aren't really any outlets and only a few tables, but that's fine! Don't think thats the crowd they're catering to anyway. I will definitely stop by when I'm here visiting family or for work.

I always come back here for their acai bowls which I love. Very nice service and connected to a gym so lots of extra gear and supplements if you’re interested.

First time here. So many have recommended this place. I wish I had come here so much sooner. Had the açaí bowl. Can’t wait for more. OH!! BTW!! If you love dogs say hello to their “mascot”. He is the most beautiful German Shepherd I have ever seen.

The food is great and they have several options to choose from. My only problem is the atmosphere, the girls that work there seem very stand off ish and it seems like they have lack of social skills. I go there every other week and it’s usually the same people I see but yet they still ask “have I been there before”. There demeanor doesn’t seem welcoming at all.

Anyone close to me knows that I love to go to Brick & Iron for their açaí bowls. I love how there are so many ways to customize them. All the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I’ve enjoyed everything I have ever ordered from there but the açaí bowls keep me coming back.

MY FEB BOWL OF THE MONTH WAS INCREDIBLE! Tasty, packed full of toppings, and so pretty that I had to snap a photo! Karen and her girls never fail to make a bowl that exceeds all expectations.

Stopped in for a late afternoon pick me up and found this "gym" of a Cafe! One of us had a delicious housemade honey lavender and cinnamon latte and I enjoyed a chocolate peanut butter protein shake, while having pleasant conversation with the owner. Will definitely stop here again while in Ocala, and plan to drop in for a crossfit session next door!

I ordered a bowl based on a recommendation from a lady that said the bowl of the month was super good. Her bowl she was eating there looked nice. So I took her recommend but got it TO GO for $14 and it looked so SAD in the plastic container. I even mentioned it to them that it didn’t look anything like what I saw in the bowl. There barely was any fruit on it and very sparse on the toppings. And coming home it was just soupy. Not worth the price at all. I’ve had Acai bowls in Orlando that are chocked full of toppings even when you take it to go. DO NOT take it to go. You’ll get a subpar product. It seems like they don’t even put any effort in it when it’s to go but they charge you the same price. It’s not going to look anything like the bowl pictures you see. I had to add toppings on it when I got home. Better to ask for it to eat there and ask for a “to go” container and pack it in yourself. They can’t visualize the same thing that they present on a bowl for a to go container?? I called the store and they didn’t rectify it. Just said, Ok…. So I won’t be back.

Amazing energy, love the gym ethics as well. You can tell the alignment with the mind, body and soul is the root. Spoke to the owner and felt very welcomed and didn’t feel like a bother. Glad I found this gem 🤌🏽

I love everything about this place. So much so that I will list out the specific things that I love most (in no particular order); the welcoming & cozy environment, Karen & the girls, Isabelle, Rothgar, the cinnamon lattes, the bowl of the month (on any given month, just yes), the meat sticks, their incredible supplement selection but specifically the cinnamon cookie batter protein powder, the random Ted appearances & most importantly the love that goes into everything they create! In a world filled with poor food choices everywhere you look, this is a place you can go and enjoy something delicious & healthy! You just cant beat that.

Any place that has a dog as a greeter is always high on my list. To the menu now....this place has the best acai bowls we have found between Marion and Citrus County. The staff were all very friendly and explained the menu and the choices. You can make a custom bowl or choose a staff favorite or seasonal option. The fruit was all very fresh and some of their nut butters are homemade. We will definitely be visiting here again to try more items including their coffees. We went on a Saturday and the Ocala Farmers Market is within walking distance which was an added bonus. Highly recommend!!!

Wow! What a fantastic and healthy place to eat one of the delicious items they have to offer. The smoothies and acai bowls are out of this world, super delicious, filling and healthy. The October Pumpkin spice bowl is 👌. We ate there every morning after our workout, and it felt great to eat a good quality breakfast bowl. We loved this place and made our short visit to Ocala even better.

Stopped here on our road trip for a quick bite and to restock our black rifle coffee. Great atmosphere and friendly faces

Absolutely amazing every time I go. And oh my gosh I can’t say enough about the homemade lavender honey latte! She uses real lavender and real ingredients in all of the options here. You can definitely tell Karen & the girls put passion into every bowl! You will not be disappointed.

I rarely leave reviews but I had to say this place is amazing and I will be returning. The fruit and ingredients in the açaí bowl I received were fresh. The service was great and efficient. Definitely one of my new favorites in Ocala. Please visit when you get the chance. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing locally owned coffee shop and cafe. Stopped in on the way through town and got a house-made honey lavender latte (yum!), a lavender tea latte for my 8 year old, and a bulletproof for my husband. Definitely will stop when we are in the area again. The kids loved the German shepherd that slept in the middle of the cafe our entire visit. He was so sweet.

Finally, fulfilling açaí bowls in Ocala. This place did not disappoint. I got to College so I need something to keep me awake and fresh. Walking in and greeted by a dog definitely got me awake lol but the açaí bowls are crunchy, fresh and full👌🏾will be coming back ! and staff was so nice and helped me pick as much as I wanted in my bowl! 😊

I was visiting Ocala and I came across this cute unique cafe. I ordered the The Basic Witch bowl. Not only did it taste heavenly the presentation of it was so pretty. The actual cafe was very cute and inviting. The owner was very nice as well! Definitely recommend.

Stopped here several times after workouts while on the road in Ocala. Loved everything I tried, including a great smoothie and an amazing açaí bowl with all sorts of healthy & delicious toppings. The bowl was AMAZING!!!!! Probably the best I’ve ever had AND filling! Didn’t want Smoothie King due to the high sugar and this place had custom nut butters and all sorts of healthy options. Glad I found this spot and I will return.

Went here w my friend & we both loved it - everything was hand/home made and absolutely delicious!! The owner Karen was kind & very helpful. Would go again for sure! Probably one of the best (and few) healthy options in this area. They also sell supplements which is convenient!

The acai bowls are really good and the owner is really nice. The owners kids and dog are usually there which makes the environment feel safe and inviting:). You can eat there or have it to go and it's pretty cheap for the good amount that you're getting. I like this place a lot, and I'll be visiting more:)

Absolutely love Brick & Iron Cafe! We've enjoyed smoothie bowls, iced coffees and green tea. I love that I leave comfortably full and REFRESHED! I also appreciate the gluten free granola topping and understanding of allergies. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy with sweet customer service.

WONDERFUL!! An absolute jem! Me and my boyfriend got a hankering for smoothie bowls today and we came across the Black & Iron Cafe we decided to give it a shot! We were so happy that we did. We love bold flavors that are also natural let me tell you they got that here!! It was a great pice and we got A LOT FOR IT! We will definitely be returning here THATS for sure.

I absolutely love this place! By far the best smoothies and protein bowls around. Locally owned, and the owner is AMAZING. If there’s a smoothie you’re thinking of, she can probably make it for you. My absolute FAVORITE is the chocolate peanut butter. Just the right amount of all the flavors and absolutely delicious. Looking something a little more exotic, I recommend “The Ted”.

I’ve gotten a bowl or shake there multiple times! Every time they are made perfectly! Karen really takes the time to make each bowl and you can be sure to get the freshest fruit and other amazing toppings like her own fresh made almond butter! She even took the chance and made me me own custom bowl when I requested something not the menu and she nailed it! I can go on and on. Just GO! You won’t regret it!

Everything I’ve tried has been delicious but the new smoothie bowls are my favorite, especially after a workout or just on a hot day!!
