Never disappoints! Just missing their presence in Frederick

Jerrod's food is always amazing. We first found his food truck in Frederick and knew we wanted his juicy, tender brisket for our wedding. He provided brisket, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread for our backyard wedding of 40 people without any hassle at all! He is so kind and easy to deal with, and really our guests couldn't stop talking about how awesome the food was. In fact weeks afterward people are still texting us asking where they can find his food truck set-up. Our guests were literally taking pictures of the sauce bottles with his name on them so they could find him and the amazing brisket again! Picture is from a visit to Potomac Ridge Brewery where we caught up to him last night. His food NEVER disappoints, consistently delicious! Thank you Jerrod and Bub-B-Que!

Delicious comfort food. Big portions and tasty cucumber salad. Yes it goes well with a beer from Idiom Brewery! The food is delicious and the cucumber salad is something new, I love it. For the price, flavor, and portions it is worth 5 stars!

I ordered very last-minute for a 50th birthday party. Jerrod was able to work with us to get everything we needed delivered ahead of the event. We had some confusion a few hours before the event and Jerrod quickly resolved the matter before the event started. The ribs are excellent and the crab dip was great. There was plenty of mac n’ cheese that everyone enjoyed and the cornbread will not disappoint either. I would use them again for any catering needs and they earned a lot of new fans that day.

This is the best BBQ I have had in Frederick and very high up there of all time. Jerrod is the man and the service was great. So glad he’s near my office every Thursday!

The food is so good 😊 from the coleslaw to the mash potatoes was just off the hook. We weren’t lucky to get the ribs nor Mac n cheese. This is a great hidden spot.

Jerrod & Bub-B-Que catered my wedding. He was great to work with, had lots of great ideas for the menu and how to make sure everyone had enough to eat, and IT WAS DELICIOUS! He's a meat wizard! All of my guests commented on how great the food was and how nice he and his staff were. Highly recommended, can't wait to catch up with him and his crew in Frederick for another tasty meal.

Only open Wed-Sat. No info on Google Maps. Very high quality. Pulled pork sandwich is good value.. Nice people.

Alot of delicious food for your money. I was hoping they would have greens. The mac n cheese was good.

Ya know.. when you order some food on a bone.. isnt it supposed to stay there? I swear something is wrong with his grill setup cause everything is falling apart. And the sauce? Don't get me started I could just drink it.. and well thats just not healthy. Absolutely love this place and always tell everyone I know who enjoys bbq #YallMhonAnEat.

Excellent! Probably the best BBQ I've had in the Frederick area. The brisket's juicy, the ribs are amazing, and the wings are absolutely brilliant. Absolutely worth the price. You won't be disappointed.

True professional. True craftsman. The food doesn't lie. I've frequented Bub-B-Que for many years both from the trailer and catering. Every experience ends the same, me happier than a pig in slop. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful BBQ, especially the ribs, brisket, and shoulder/pulled pork. As a former BBQ competition judge, it's great BBQ and just as importantly he is consistent with his product. Eaten there many times and will continue to enjoy his food. He is primarily open in warmer months but he has been open on occasion during the colder months. Literally the best BBQ in Maryland, not sure what else to say... it’s the best, and everyone that works there is super friendly and always a fun time. Plus tons of parking, which is a huge plus considering it’s downtown and we all know how bad parking can be. And now that we are doing social distances this is the perfect spot to pull up, park, grab the food and eat in the car or at one of their picnic tables. My number 1 is the brisket.

This place is for the real BBQ lovers. I first tried the food while searching for a BBQ caterer for my wedding. Needless to say, I went with Bub-B-Que for the big day. Wedding was about 2 weeks ago and the guests are still talking about the food (esp the brisket). Overall, Bub-B-Que did an amazing job...showed up onsite with the smoker (which I highly recommend to all brides to get), and started to cook. Then was very flexible when it came time to start, as we were running a bit behind schedule. Again, the food was amazing and guests are still talking about it. Also, top marks for friendly service and pricing! We opted for the 3 meat, 3 sides and some cornbread option which guests appreciated. My (now) husband and I actually went back a few times to the food truck in between the initial food tasting and wedding, and plan to go back whenever we get a hankering for solid bbq (as we are about an hour drive away)...it’s honestly that good.

I worked with Jerrod and crew for the first time when Bub-B-Que catered a wedding reception where I was event manager. He simply set up his mobile equipment across the street and ran the food in for service when ready. His crew was worked quickly, cleaned up their area and were super polite to guests and staff. The food was delicious (two thumbs up for the mac-n-cheese)! Communication was a breeze in preparation for the event.

Such good food. The owner is kind and has a good sense of humor. His son works with him, also a great guy. Not which I like best, the food or the people!
