This is a kind of grungy place with simple decorations and that is the perfect atmosphere for the meal!! Because you’re mostly eating with your fingers covered in juices it makes the experience even better. The buckets have a lot of verity but not enough to make it overwhelming. I’ve been here multiple times. My husband loves it so much it’s his birthday and Father’s Day choice. Go here, get messy and have some good food.

Honestly did not like the food, it had no flavor it felt like the restaurant just drizzled the flavor on top. If you like plain and simple taste this might be a good choice.

Good place if you want to eat fried fish there is the best place, the shrimp are very good but for me it was spicy, if you go before 6 on weekdays they give you 1/2 pound of shrimp

The food was delicious as always, except that the waitress we had was almost not attentive and the young man was more attentive than her, not even when the young man brought the food and she did not bring it but the young man was super attentive.

Went to dinner here 04/10/2024. From our table I could see the waitress, she was more concerned about her phone then the guest. The lobster we got was tough, definitely not worth the $35 for two. The crab and scallops were ok. The only thing that was really good was the sausage and the potatoes. Not a place I will go back to. Not worth the $100 bill I got.

Fresh crawfish, shrimp and mussels authentic Cajun style. The kid's shrimp meal was also fresh with hand breaded shrimp.

We went last weekend and the waitress ended up manually adjusting the tip we left her. At the very end she handed us the machine to pay and leave a tip and it was weird from there. She told my wife she didn't have to finish out the transaction on the machine. We left her a $10 tip for a total of $119 but when we got the charge on the card it was $129. So if you go, watch out for that or finish the transaction all the way through yourself. The waitress name was Damaris.

I go here most of the time to eat seafood. So far best place to go for seafood, crawfish, clam,fried catfish & wings.

The service was bad. We got everything we ordered, but with how much money we spent (a group of 7), I was surprised with how unenthusiastic the server was. She seemed really unimpressed and grumpy. The crab had little to no meat in it, like 6 of the legs were completely empty. They were completely out of crawfish when we got there and that was pretty much the whole reason we came. It was my boyfriends birthday, so he got 2 lobster tails (35 bucks, a good deal on lobster, but still their priciest add-on), but they were extremely overcooked. If you want the same kind of food but better, go to Cajun Boil. It's a way better deal, better food, better service.

Oh BOY!! Sooo Good! Was craving sea food, n we tried this place. Was the best finger licking food, prices were reasonable, worth it food is awesome, ate alot, haven't tasted good seafood since our trip to California, fresh seafood 😋 must try. This is the worst restaurant meal I’ve ever had I think. You’re supposed to eat with your hands. OK. But the food is served in plastic bags and is quite soupy. You cannot eat soup with your hands! Flavors were neither garlicky or buttery and were hotter than the mild we ordered. Mussels and clams were not cooked completely. I didn’t like the smell in the restaurant. They were out of crawfish. The restaurant sucked but thankfully I was in good company which is the only reason I stayed. Some in our party liked it so perhaps I’m picky. But for the price it’s terrible.

Been to this location multiple times with overall great service and delicious food!! However I went there this weekend and was very disappointed in our service we had that night. Was seated and forgotten about, other people whom arrived after us got serviced way quickly and before we did. I understand we all get busy but we spent a well amount of over 15 minutes waiting for our server Liza. Very disappointed in her service which is the reason why i am giving a 3. I absolutely love everything about this place.

We got it Togo and all but two crawfish in our pound of it had eggs inside making them inedible. The shrimp were very over cooked as well. The sauce had great flavor.

I went for the first time to Bucket O'Crawfish at the West Valley City location. On the outside it seemed like a happening place, but upon going in the vibe was off, the music was off. My overall experience from  beginning to end was off. I went out to eat the evening of June 2nd. I didn't feel like staying in and cooking. I wanted a good meal. I asked the man who took my order of the selections I had in mind, which one had the most. Catfish with Cajun fries, he said. I sat at the bar, but I was still looking around if I really wanted to sit there. I received my meal... and I was already disappointed. The catfish wasn't good. The tartar sauce wasn't good. For $12.95, I could have went to Texas Roadhouse and gotten a better meal with more variety and with taste. Not have fish that was coated with so much bread that it seemed like there was more bread than there actually was fish. With taxes and the minimum tip amount included, the total was $16.35. I should have went to the place that I knew had good food. But I'm exploring my options and in the process you have to find a mixture of good and bad and you have to waste money. But I didn't expect that It'd be wasted in a place like Bucket O'Crawfish. In my opinion, this place is a watered down seafood restaurant. Run by people who don't know how to make this a happening place. Trying to turn it into a Mexican restaurant. Because that's what it was. This used to be my favorite restaurant but the quality is heading in the wrong direction. I always ask to not over or undercook the calamari. I’ve been coming for a long time. This place used to be great and had the best shrimp baskets in the state. This visit may be my last. Prepared to get messy at this casual seafood restaurant, but it will be worth it since the food was delicious! Thank goodness they gave me a bib! My husband got the shrimp poboy with Cajun fries and my son got fried shrimp basket with plain fries. The fried shrimp was so good and I really loved the crispy batter. I got the bucket of headless shrimp, Cajun styled, medium spice. The seasoning was delicious!! The shrimps were big and juicy and I only got the half pound but it was plenty I shared with my family. The corn was so good in all that sauce and the potatoes were pretty big I have one to my husband and I was too full to eat the other. I did share the fries with my son since his basket had so many! I would give 1 star but I gave 2 cuz the manager ended up taking my order.
