Stopped by randomly after watching a comedy show at Foxwoods and man, they didn’t disappoint - quite opposite!!! One of the best dining experiences we have had! Food, drinks, service, ambience - 10 out of 10. Everything that came out of that kitchen looked delish 🤩 We had to filter out that good looking menu (unfortunately) and opted for a few signature drinks and meals (Forgot to take pictures how good it was). Super delicious! Would definitely be back and would highly recommend!!

I have been coming here for quite of few years and never disappoints. Friendly family atmosphere and they always go out of their way to make your experience great. My favorite restaurant!

Haven't been here in a long time. In town for a show and of course we ate here! Most welcoming place, service excellent, feels like family. Everything was excellent 👌

Solid Italian restaurant with a nice vibe! Try the scampi pizza as it was very good and the calamari is also delicious, however the oil for the bread was subpar and not pure olive oil

We stayed at a B &B in nearby Ledyard CT as we were visiting Mystic, CT. I asked the host for a recommendation for dinner nearby on out day of arrival, and he recommended this place. The food and service were excellent as was the atmosphere. Recommend highly.

Really impressed with this place! We were looking for a more budget-friendly options outside of the casino. Ended up having the polpette pizza which was so delicious. Those meatballs are money! The summertime Spritz was also refreshing and the patio was lovely. Only small snafu was that when I entered the restaurant there were six waiters standing together at the entrance and it felt as if they expected me to know who the hostess was without any kind of name tag or introduction. Exception for that awkwardness, this restaurant was such a pleasant surprise!

Delicious wings and steak, cooked exactly as we asked! They were closing a little after we arrived, but they accommodated us with smiles.

Hands down, the best steaks we have ever had! Amazing service, unbelievable presentation, abundant serving, excellent food! It was our first trip there for our anniversary referred to by word of mouth and we were not disappointed!!!! The owner worked the floor with his crew, cleared some dishes, and I didn't realize he was the owner until later! Make sure to get a reservation for dinner at this bustling wonderful Italian restaurant!!! Amazing! We will be back!

By far my husband and I’s favorite restaurant. We have enjoyed everything on the menu (on separate occasions of course) and we always order a bottle of wine from their selection. Dessert selection is also always fantastic. Service knocks it out of the park. Because the restaurant is so lively it does get very loud in the dining room during dinner but the other dining areas are perfect. Our favorite meals are the chicken piccata and anything in the specials.

First time here and the food and service was excellent. We very much enjoyed speaking with the owner and hearing about how the restaurant came to life. She is an exceptional woman. You can feel the love.

Just phenomenal. I have yet to eat a meal here we didn't enjoy. The staff is always pleasant and work as a team. The restaurant is just a short drive from Foxwoods for a great start to a night out!

I found this place by accident on a weekend trip to Foxwoods. I live over an hr away and I would take the ride to have dinner or lunch without hesitation. The food is awesome and the staff makes you want to come back. The olive 🫒 oil is my favorite.

Buon Appetito Ristorante , on 2 in North Stonington CT. I have reviewed this place before but need to rave again. This place is just sooo good! Was a nice day,well evening, as we like to wait until the crowd subsides as it can get very crowded! The dinner crowd was almost gone and we sat outside. We started with the fruit salad. It was so fresh and delicious! My wife had the meat lasagna and we both loved it! I had the 8 oz. filet mignon, cooked to perfection. Food was simply fabulous as usual. Sorry no pics as were simply relaxing with no phones. Very enjoyable dinner all around. Will always go back. We were going to dine at Foxwoods as we were there but we wanted some good Italian food. Buon Appetito has never disappointed!

Great food, atmosphere and staff

What an amazing experience in flavor, service, and atmosphere! We were greeted and waited on by Mirela, who happens to be the owner. So welcoming, prideful, and truly appreciative! Without a doubt, I recommend the lobster/pasta special. We will be back again to visit Mirela in her beautiful restaurant!

My steak was delicious, but the best part was the wine; it was one of the best wines I've ever had.

Food was decent. Server was decent. Staff manager or someone reprimanding hostesses on the floor. “Whats this” while pointing at something they dislike at least 3 times. In a rude tone like they should know better. You should know better to reprimand employees in front of customers. Same person interrupted our waiter on the way to take check from us and sending them on some task. Took an extra couple minutes to come grab our check. Wasn’t a busy time, could have let them finish with their customers first. Diet Coke was flat, 3 dollars and never got a refill. It was probably about 3 ounces of liquid in a glass of ice. Hangar steak was cooked perfect. Also flys. So many flys. If you like the atmosphere of other customers smashing flys and waving around wildly at least once a minute then it’s a good atmosphere for you.

Our server was awesome. The food was great. We sat outside at sunset, which was very pretty. Great night.

Always a pleasure to dine there. The food and service is always exemplary! It is a bit loud and so we did struggle with conversation. However overall will certainly go back over and over again and tell our friends about it 😁

The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent.

Excellent staff, food, service. We had the 14 ounce steak and the fig, parma ham calzone. The calzone was enough for two, perfectly crisp, good tasting. The steak was done as requested, about two inches thick, excellent taste. The sides were good as well, with real mashed potatoes! We started with the house salad. It was very good, despite not having any lettuce. ( I am very used to making salads at home without lettuces, so this was really good), served with a simple house dressing, perfectly executed and a great way to start a meal. They make their own rolls as well, which were also excellent. We ended the meal with dessert. The creme brulee was beautifully creamy, with the great experience of the caramelized sugar on top. Too many places serve what they call a creme brulee. This is a true creme brulee. We also had the apple pastry, which was wonderful. Our server ended our meal with a shot of limonchello which was complimentary. This is a great place to eat, and I very highly recommend it.

$10 dollars for this tiny portion. Embarrassing, shameful.

Nice ambiance and excellent service. The food presented well. however it was very bland and almost the same taste across all dishes, from the bread, to the salads and pizza. The olive oil was not of a high quality so it lacked any taste too. The wine was good. Do order mineral water. Otherwise be ready to taste the chlorine in the tap water.

Held a graduation party here for 8 people. Server was attentive and everyone was satisfied with their meal. The Pasta Fagioli was delicious.

Delicious food! We had chicken parmesan & pappardelle bolognese. Dessert to go too! Outstanding service! The restaurant was crowded and the waitstaff worked nonstop with a smile. Relaxing atmosphere, music was wonderful.

I’ve gotten takeout every Friday for a couple years but I just tried to order a Mother’s Day meal and the lady that answered the phone was so mean! She wouldn’t even tell me what the “special” menu was. She told me to look at the site and call back, then hung up on me. 😳 gotta find a new Place for my Friday nights.

I can’t say enough about the food and service at this restaurant! I was there Sunday night and even though they were extremely busy the service was incredible! Me and my family love coming here! The owners and staff are amazing and the food is made from scratch. I love everything on their menu but their meatballs are truly to die for!

Food was outstanding. I had the short ribs and my husband had the Clam Pasta. We had the Focaccia bread with cheese for appetizer. Everything was delicious. The service was prompt despite how busy they were. Will come back.

This was our first time here and it was a Wonderful night. The parking was very easy. The outside of the restaurant is very pleasing and you feel like your going to have a good experience. Walking in we where greeted by a pleasant hostess who seated us promptly. The restaurant was spacious and decorated elegantly. The staff were dressed professionally and where prompt and attentive. Our food can out quickly and was delicious. The bar was well stocked. This is a great place for a special night out.

If you can find anything at all that’s negative about this restaurant, well then it’s you being very picky and looking for attention. This restaurant rocks the house from the food, drinks and service it’s a world class top notch experience to eat there

We didn't have reservations but they got us right in. Friendly staff. The food and drinks were excellent!

We called and made reservations for a private party in the downstairs wine room which required a credit card. When we arrived the gentleman that was the host was rude when we informed him our reservation was for the downstairs wine room. He replied I do not know what you are talking about and we were put in the upstairs dining room next to a extremely loud party. We tried to tell him we were booked downstairs but he ignored us. This was a special night and I was disappointed to say the least. We have always enjoyed this restaurant and we made specific requests when we made the reservation. We will not hold another party here which is sad because we love the food.

Hidden Jem. Been going to Foxwoods for years and getting tired of the over-priced, lackluster food. Frankly, this is on-par with many Italian restaurants we have visited in Italy. Will certainly return when in the area.

Very busy but very worth it! The bread and oil was ok but the veal parm was exceptional! Perfectly cooked and tender veal on a huge mountain of pasta with the perfect sauce. Freshly grated cheese at the table by our attentive waitress. A truly wonderful meal!

An extra (small) olive in your martini will cost you $1. 2 olives $2. Just not right. Great service and food.

WOW!!!. It was my first time there. We were there for a party fir my aunt. When I hot there another Family was having a dinner party too. I am Whole Plant Based. I Gad No Problem Eating there. They Accommodated me by taking the cheese off my egg plant parm. It looked like veal and the taste was great. We had alot of Appetizers and there was a lot of things I could have. While we were sitting there, I noticed a lot of people coming in wow. Was it busy this place is the Bomb. I Will come here again in the future great job. Peace

I think I may have had the absolute best gnocchi here. It was insane!!! Sooo good.

I’ve been here before and the food was satisfactory. Went tonight with my wife for our anniversary. Service was great. Waitress-Great. We had a Shrimp Fritter (special) as an app. It was spectacular! More like a crab cake than a fritter. My beautiful bride had scallops and risotto and that was great. I had veal parmigiana. That was the rub. The pasta was Al dente. Great. Veal tender…until half way through. It was so tough. For the first time in my 62 year old life, I looked to spit out food on my plate. Next bite…same. Gotta fix that! Can’t have veal that’s tough! I liked the half that didn’t make me want to spit into my napkin.

Enjoyed some delicious food on an early sunday afternoon. I had lasagna that was delicious. The other 2 had salmon over risotto and little necks with linguini. We had some fresh hot bread as well. Liked the fact that the chef came over to table to ask if we enjoyed the meals. It was a nice touch. The server came over with some homemade limoncello, which was very good. We look forward to dining here again. We thought everything was just delish. Enjoyed a nice glass of red zinfandel with my meal as well

Buffalo Chicken pizza was phenomenal, a touch spicy it was perfect. The cheese pizza was also good sweet sauce. The waitresses were really kind.

Great Italian place. I had some delicious muscles with pasta. Overall, everyone loves their food. I took my service dog and no one gave me trouble.

It was our first visit and we were warmly welcomed. It was clear that this restaurant is well run, clean and organized. The food was amazing, I had the best swordfish of my life! Erica behind the bar was attentive and helped us make all the right decisions. We look forward to returning so we can get through the rest of the menu!

Delicious food, good wine, excellent service. I chose the short rib entree. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I really enjoyed the meal and the portions were so generous that my take home provided another two meals.

My husband and I moved from Boston almost three years ago and are self proclaimed foodies. This was THE best meal we’ve had in CT, hands down! Every single thing was amazing from the food and drinks to the service and cozy atmosphere! The focaccia bread and the short ribs are must-trys! Thank you for an amazing meal and experience!

Had a great dinner, had the veal parmesan with spaghetti and my wife had baked salmon over risotto. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the veal was lightly breaded an they give you a generous portion. The owner is very attentive, and the waitress was there checking if you needed any bread , drinks or extra fresh ground parmesan cheese . Also had the tiramisu and the crème brûlée for dessert.

We came with a large party, and Mirela, like can always be expected as she is the consummate professional, was wonderful, our service was great, all of the many diverse dishes that were ordered by our group of 18 were phenomenal, and everyone had a lovely lunch. It is not always easy to please a large group, and everyone left happy and raving about the food and experience! 👏
