All of the food is great! It’s off that they serve Chinese food, but it’s delicious!

Through no fault of the staff the quality of the food makes McDonalds look like a Michelin star restaurant. Usually dive restaurants have the best food but this place didn't get the memo. If you're in the mood for gritty, beef jerky styled chewy burgers then you've found your spot. For the rest of us I'd recommend licking the antifreeze off the parking lot if you can get the homeless to move out of the way

Another sign of the times. So overpriced it's getting to the point of no return. Nearly $12 for a single Jim burger. No fries. No drink. JUST a burger that had enough lettuce on it for two burgers. I make better burgers. When I walked in the vibe was depression. I usually give places a second chance but life is too short for overpriced, mediocre, food. Will not return, there are other burger joints

Food was good, at least the burger was. Fries are a bit soggy…not my favorite. Prices are a touch higher than I’d like, but not outrageous given everything costs more in AK. It isn’t fast food though, so expect to wait a bit after ordering. Dining area was clean, but parking can be challenging, especially if you have a larger vehicle.

The secret to this place is there oriental menu the portions are fit for a king. And the signature Jim burger is awesome and worth it.

Just your average pork fried rice. To dry. Not enough flavor. The following day I added water and heated it up. Much better.

We ordered two burgers, a large fry, two shakes and two bottled waters. The only thing I liked was the bottled water. The chili on my burger tasted like it came from a can, the fries had no flavor, not even salt, and my husband's Sicilian burger came with tomato, pickle and mustard. When he went to complain, she had to pull out a paper Togo menu that stated at the bottom that all burgers are served this way. Maybe that should be on the main menu in the restaurant that everyone who comes in looks at. Shakes tastes like they had artificial flavors instead of ice cream that was the flavor that we ordered. Will not be coming back.

Other than having the most tastiest food cooked on a big Mongolian BBQ iron flat. The fast food burger joint is very old and is very deceiving because of the very tasty burgers as well as Chinese cuisine they've served for years has been great continuously. I am very surprised they haven't moved or remodeled their building yet, but as for now, it is a dive, meaning it is a run-down building that needs a new roof to fix the leaks.

Well there use to be a few of these mom and pop's style food places, so other than having great taste in the food, the place is so run down and so old that the vents in the restrooms we're dripping wet from the rain? So For how steady the client's do entertain the cook's they should take better care of the condition of their business, borderline scary. So I was very conflicted to do this review on either picking the Good food or worn down eating area. 🤔

High prices . Don't serve fries with sandwiches unless u ask for it. Cost 9 dollars for just a sandwich. Rude people too.

Great burger with a classic vibe restaurant. I was surprised to see burgers and Chinese food on the menu but the burger was one of thw best burgers I've ever had. Classic style made fresh and very hot Patti with fresh crisp veggies topping it. This place should have a line out the door.

I can't believe I'm giving my former favorite burger joint 2 stars, but it's been under so much different management that it's not the same burger anymore...I came by today after a couple of let downs and got a cheeseburger that was not good at all...The lettuce was brown and soggy snd the texture of the burger was just off.. I have been a fan of burger Jim's since the early 90's as my favorite burger place and my favorite burger behing the Ranch burger but the signature flavor/quality that was once there is no more??? Trully heartbreaking. the best burgers in town go to Arctic RoadRunner/wee Bees/Max's Burger/ Lucky Wishbone/ or Burger Cache for now...

We had a bacon cheeseburger and a BLT. Both were really good. And the fried mushrooms were great!

Pretty good food and fast service. Not in a good part of town and the restaurant itself is outdated.

It was ok, super slow with zero people in the restaurant, but still waited 7-10 minutes before I had my order taken. Everything seems slightly over priced and when I asked if I could get loaded fries they looked at me as if I spoke fluent Portuguese, deer in the headlights for a solid minute and half. $51 dollars plus tip for 5 nuggets, 1 burger "special of the day" some fries and fake crab Rangoon and some house fried rice.

Unfortunately after new management their quality was bad! No same fried rice I eat there almost for 20 years

It's always a treat to go to this place. The staff is always super friendly and the food is comforting.

I order the same thing every time I order from here. They make the best patty melt I’ve ever had (I have them remove the peppers) but the whole thing is just *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏾 one of Anchorage’s best kept secret and it’s 5 min away from where I work so I order delivery quite often 🤭

The restaurant is kinda out of the way but definitely worth the drive They make the best burgers and their fried rice well actually everything on the menu is outstanding Big portion and a lot of taste I've had other Asian food in Anchorage but the taste was lacking something The lady behind the counter is friendly and helpful with getting your order the way you want Don't pass it by give it 1 chance you will not regret it

Delivery order was not to bad, we're just down the road from them Got the Swiss Mushrooms burger then added Bacon and Jalapeños!! Was nice grilled pattie with a little crispness and juices slightly into the bun but that was acceptable. Tasted simple and definitely satisfied the craving. Fries are alacart Crab Rangoon was overcooked and dark not but wasn't bad bad Typical pork fried rice again satisfing Good and reliable overall

Good food but xold restaurant and slow service.

I ordered the gym Burger. I've been ordering from Burger gyms for 20 years But something changed... When I bid into my Burger everything tried to squirt out the sides including the meat.. The Burger was so saucy and messy I couldn't eat but half of it... Given that Burger has a lot of ingredients but it was unedible... Disappointing it used to be my favorite spot... I tried Burger gyms in The Valley and it was the worst Burger I've ever had in my life. Maybe their Chinese food is better lol

We love them but tonight we tried to call and place an order for pickup. Says open but both numbers ring and ring. No answer...Oh well I'll take my $40 elsewhere

They have one of the best cheeseburgers in town. And also have Chinese food selections in town.

Great burgers, they even have daily specials. Wednesday was Spicy BBQ Burger. The burgers are all one size, no kids sized burgers. Chinese dishes are also available, but I haven't tried them.

The Jim Burger 🍔 special 😋 is Juicy, pretty big size and has: sauté onions, mushrooms, jalapeño pepper slices, Canadian bacon, relish, American cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, mayo and mustard 🤤 Soda and French fries on the side.

Teller was rude and short with us. Told her this was the first here and she made it harder on me by not wanting to answer simple but needed questions. There was no one behind me. Place was dead. No bathrooms. Don't need to give them no $ of mine no more. Last time I go there.

The burger was picture perfect. Tasted good. Looked like a photo it was so beautiful

Grabbed a couple of burgers it was just ok. They need to season the hamburger before or after cooking. The patty was bland. Other than that I'm suprized it's still open.

The burgers here were delicious!!!! I didn't know the burgers didn't come with fries. I ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers, 5 cheeseburgers, the Cali burger, 1M fry, 2L fries, and 4 ranches. Total was $82.00. I was like damn this is pricey but I mean I did order a lot & the quality of the food was just awesome! My kids loved the burgers! The avocado in the Cali burger was so fresh. I love hella lettuce in my burger & they don't skimp on the lettuce. I didn't have to ask for extra. By far some of the best burgers I've had here in anchorage.

Went from 5 to 1 rating. Don't waste your time here. Will not recommend or visit this place again. Visited 1/15/22. Spent over $60 . No Ice (they sell it next door at Liquor Store). Had a Luke warm fountain drink-gross. They screwed up my order , accused me of not ordering correctly, then wanted me to repurchase fries for $5 to get the right one. Next 50 cent for BBQ cup, which I paid. Then was told I would be getting replacement order out to me by staff from back, never showed, The Straight fries greasy. Their specialty burger was cooked to crap, but still managed to be soaked from Garlic sauce, more like grease/water puddle. Next my husbands prawns and got an extra long hair in it. We didn't complain , no once noticed or asked about our food satisfaction. (Noticed staff will long hair had no nets, hair past shoulders). To further disappoint while we are picking at the bad food, we did get, staff brings another customer a side and didn't charge them. It's too bad this place sucks now ! They lost a regular customer, Glad there are other restaurants to patronize in the Valley, that care about their customers.

I had Jim's burger a fries as it was the first time I had been there. It surprised me in many ways, tasty, a lot to eat, in 70 years, I have never had a burger like that. The place was clean and I liked the real plants in the winter time.

I order almost once a week. They even remember my name. Food is just as I ordered, delivery is fast and the food is always hot. This is my favorite go to place when I need a meal delivered to my workplace. Their Jim burgers are the best in town and their Chinese menu is awesome.

Wonderful hole in the wall. Theyve been there a very long time so maybe hole in the wall is unfair. I would add that they could do with shrinking their menu down but their food is indeed quality for what you pay.

The burger was okay, The heigine of the staff was not. None of them washed their hands and none wore gloves while handing raw meat OR my finished burger. Food safety violation. I know They watched me watching them make my burger.
