Great products, if you haven't tried mead you're missing out. The owners are A+ people and super helpful. I highly recommend stopping in for a taste. They even have mead making classes from time to time.

We had a great experience during our visit to Burnt Barrel. The drinks are of outstanding quality. A complimentary taste of all spirits was available, as it should always be at an establishment that believes in its products. Good whiskey and mead sells itself. The Amburana Bourbon was exceptionally unique. We left with a couple bottles and will surely return.

Enjoyed the mead flight and trying the different flavors. The interior is very nice but on the smaller side so it feels a little crowded when it gets busy. Nice owner/operator. Medium parking lot shared with other businesses.

A favorite stop for my husband and self. The owners are top notch, place is cozy and relaxing, and the drinks are above and beyond. If you get a chance, definitely check out one of their mead making classes, quite fun and you get to take homenwhqt you personally made. Win/win!

Nathan the owner is an incredibly genuine man who will make you feel welcome and engage with you about mead and anything else under the sun. His dog is adorable and is a highlight of the meadery. The mead is amazing and the conversations are just as good. I will be sure to stop by again when I’m in the area.

I am so impressed - can’t exaggerate how much better this mead is than any other I have tried. The brewer (mead artist??) is knowledgeable and the service was great. I would happily return.

I absolutely love this place! It has a great laid-back vibe, the owner is super friendly, and they have the best drinks around! Try the barrel-aged old fashioned - trust me!! There is always a rotating selection of mead flavors (if you don't think you like mead, I recommend trying a mead flight at Burnt Barrel - it will change your mind!) as well as several house-made spirits, and of course a few n/a options for your designated driver as well ;) They don't serve food at Burnt Barrel but they are happy to have you bring in your own food or snacks or even order DoorDash. They have a selection of games, including card games, board games, giant connect-four, and a working pinball machine. Bonus: every time I walk in, Bob Ross is on all the TVs. Everything about this place is super chill. You're going to love it there!

This is an outstanding experience for mead and cocktail drinkers. They constantly have new meads, and an ever expanding list of spirits and cocktails. A great interactive experience with the staff to discover which drinks will fit your palate.

Burnt Barrel houses a stylish and very comfortable tasting room serving and showcasing delicious meads. I had the flight of 6 meads and thoroughly enjoyed them all and flat out absolutely loved 2 of them (the root beer mead "Mugged" was unbelievable, so much so I bought a bottle to take home). Also sampled a Dutch Apple Pie Moonshine that was incredible as this Meadery is also a Distillery. With local craft beer options as well this venue has something for everyone. We had a great time enjoying Burnt Barrel's well crafted offerings and plan to visit often.

Awesome place if you like mead or are looking to get into it. Nathan is super knowledgeable and friendly. He makes a wide variety of different meads that it'd be hard not to find one that suites you. They've just gotten into making vodka and whiskey as well, so even more to look forward to. Definitely recommend stopping by for a taste!

Public service announcement!! OMG...I was at a place today that all my friends in the boating community while traveling south to the Lake Of the Ozarks should venture in!!! Right outside of St.Charles ..Ofallon MO. On hyway 70 Is a place called BURNT BARREL MEADERY! A micro meadery!! Which is fantastic!! So ya know..while traveling to the lake .".right around that area traffic always sucks " so you might as well chill and step inside cause You will still arrive at the same time anyway to the lake anyway..only happier..!! And..they have craft spirits ! Their pickle spirits are fantastic!!! Tell em Shawn ..Nancy..and Rob sent ya!!!

Nathan is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Mead and its made me want to learn how to do homebrew! As for his mead I haven't had one I disliked my favorite though is Sunshine it's like breakfast in a bottle!
