Consistently delicious food and super friendly service. It's my favorite place in Fargo to eat.

Ordered delivery. $63. All meat was over cooked and couldn't be eaten. Reached out to business and they said to stop by another time to discuss as they were closed. Not convenient to stop and tell them what I had already explained and showed photos of. Always had great food there until now. Going forward, will only go to GP'S Greek Kitchen.

The food was flavorful (not spicy) and well presented. There was plenty; I had leftovers. The gyros were full, the fried and rice were hot, fresh, and seasoned well. My chef special plate was so good! We ordered the appetizer platter and I found it disappointing. I guess I envisioned an American app sampler, where each person would get one whole piece of each thing. It's hard to split a tiny spinach pie 3-ways with plastic cutlery. The platter included hummus and baba ganoush with pita, 3 dolmades, 1 each cheese pie and spinach pie. All things VERY delicious, fresh, with quality ingredients. It's a deli with some groceries for sale. 🤷🏼‍♀️The atmosphere is fine, though I dislike the environmental impact of plastic cutlery, Styrofoam plates/bowls. It would be a great place to eat slowly with a book. Mostly comfortable, mostly clean. Very friendly staff.

I have been a customer of Cafe Aladdin since 1996 when they had a small restaurant in downtown Fargo. The location may have moved from the original downtown location but the taste and quality has stayed the same. They really do have the best Gyro in town however I generally get the Gyro plate with hummus. Cafe Aladdin is one of my favorite restaurants in the region. The owners have been the same for nearly 30 years and the quality of the food is amazingly consistent. They focus on the big and little things from the quality of the pita bread, gyro meat, hummus, to the Kalamata olives they make sure every aspect is perfect. I have never had a bad experience at Cafe Aladdin. If you have never given this place a try I suggest you do.

4.7 out of 5. The Cafe Aladdin is a delightful experience. We ordered the jumbo combo sandwich, a chicken gyro sandwich with rice, and the chicken gyro plate. Portions were generous, the amount of meat was generous, the chicken plate was especially tasty. The rice had a tasty and complex flavour profile. My only negative was I was expecting a little more from the fries, but they were well seasoned! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly!

Amazing food - everything was fresh and hot. I had the chicken gyro with fries, my partner had the regular gyro with salad, and we shared an appetizer of cheese pie. Staff was friendly, service was prompt and professional. 4/5 for atmosphere because music would have been nice but the space inside is large and clean.

Gyro platter and kid’s chicken gyro are top notch. This place is a gem!

I got delivery, so I can't say how the actual place is, but the falafel sandwich with the roasted vegetables? Oh my goodness. Definitely among the best sandwiches in all sandwich-dom.

This is the best place you’ll find around here to get Greek food. If you’ve ever wondered if it’s worth trying something new, it is. My husband and I went on a limb a few weeks ago and tried this place… it’s been on our mind since. We had it again tonight and it has yet again exceeded our expectations. Seriously, go try it!!!

I have eaten at Cafe Aladdin too many times to count. Their food is always consistent and TERRIFIC! The gyros are a must when they're at a street fair, but when I am eating there I almost always get the tabouli salad with gyro meat. If you like to dunk your pitas you need to try BOTH the hummus and the baba ghannouj!

I have been going here since like the early/mid-2000s, even though the food and Menu you haven't really changed, the prices haven't gone up that much either. These days I do prefer GP'S, but this is still one of the best Gyro's in town.

The best hummus! I buy a pound at each visit. Excellent service! I drive across town for the Lentil plate.

Kicking myself for not trying Cafe Aladdin sooner. The menu options are excellent for people trying to eat healthier, but won't sacrifice flavor!

Highly recommend coming to cafe Aladdin. I got the jumbo gyro and a baklava and I destroyed it. It had extra gyro which made my day and the hot fires went great with it. Service was quick to your table. I will be coming again.

Smoothest hummus I've ever been served. Had the appetizer sampler, falafel plate, and feta sandwich. My boyfriend and I tried it all together. Was all good. Really good meal. Will have to try more of their food

Atmosphere is eye catching, food is OK. I like lentil rice and fries. Their specialty is gyro shawarma. Also, they have some grocery like lentils, dates, and spices among others.

Food and service are always amazing. You seat yourself and go up to the counter to order. That might be off-putting to some but I always enjoy my experience here.

Best Gyros in town ... prices aren't too bad @ $8.99 or $10 for a jumbo

This is truly a gem of mediterranean food. The owners are kind and you will come to know them quickly. They love their food and their ingredients, and it will show. Try the gyro and spanikopita. Always get them myself.

Driving through Fargo and found this place. Ordered hummus, falafel and dolmades. Probably the best I've had. Will definitely stop on the way back through. I love how they have plenty of vegetarian options marked for you.

It would've been a whole lot better if I had gotten what I ordered. I ordered the #250 (combination plate) to go. I chose a gyro, kafta kabob (per their menu), and fries. What I received was an indiscernible mess of everything simply glopped into a styrofoam container. The "salad" was a bunch of wilted, slimy garbage. I did not get a gyro. What I got was a pita sliced into quarters placed on top of the heaping mess underneath. I had to dig through the slop to find the pathetically meager portion of kabob upon which the wilty, slimy "salad" was slopped. The fries were floppy and soggy. Granted, this was for takeout, but one would think that fries would not lose their vigor after a five minute drive home, even if they are imprisoned in a styrofoam tomb. I will say this: the meat that I did find after having to dig through all the slop was really good. I've always loved their gyros. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trusting that they would do me right in exchange for my hard-earned money. Prior to this abysmal experience, I loved Café Aladdin and would have given them 4 stars across the board. Caveat effing emptor, I guess. Let this be a lesson: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I might go back. Although, probably not. It simply isn't worth the disappointment of being disrespected like that for what equates to a simple sandwich after spending $20 on a "combination plate" when the combination is merely a bunch of slop glopped into a styrofoam container without so much as a thank you or a fare-thee-well. What happened to you, Café Aladdin? You used to be beautiful.

A little pricey, but you get a ton of food for your buck, especially if you order a plate. A few times I've been given extra pita without asking. The lamb is amazing!

I ordered on Uber eats at 5:30, had the food in hand before 6! Crazy good food too, the lamb is INCREDIBLE! So juicy and tender, and super flavorful. The sandwich was expertly wrapped up too! Not messy, and the pita was so soft 😍 I also got the dolmades and they are also super tender, nicely acidic, a true 10/10. Love this place so much ❤️

A very well rounded experience. I enjoyed the variety of baklava available, and the curry rice was superior. The falafel and tzatziki sauce went very well together as well!

First time here. Ordered the Lamb Traditional Gryro. So Delicious. They also gave us a complimentary lentil soup!!! I will come back. The fries were the best I have had since NewZealand fries are still the best. This is on my top list!!. The service is excellent

I love Cafe Aladdin! Best Gyros in Fargo. Their spanakopita is fantastic. Be sure to eat in or pick up yourself to get it at its best, a delivery delay takes away from it's freshness.

Love this place. Been eating here since it opened in the 90s. Besides the awesome food , they have a fun, authentic atmosphere and music. Don’t leave without trying some kind of dessert, and/or hummus, or the yellow rice.

What a pleasant dining experience. I was greeted promply when I arrived and was served quickly. I ordered the Spanakopita meal, complete with salad, rice and warm pita slices. Delicious to say the least. I will definitely be dining here again!

A hearty, flavorful, warm meal. I bounce between the #6 (gyro) or #7 (curried chicken), depending on the day. It's hard to choose! The meat is fresh, the veggies crunchy, the tzatziki zingy. Simple table and chairs for seating, and windows let in plenty of light. Additionally, there is a small selection of grocery items that can also be purchased. Don't forget to snag baklava for dessert!

Best Middle Eastern food locally! Aladdin Cafe just came down to my Local Street Faire at the Lakes and provdided the best Gyro I have had to date.

The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, family friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious! You certainly get your money's worth of food with good quality ingredients as well as hearty portions. A great menu selection for adults, but minimal for children. We also liked the option of buying some groceries from there as they have two small nooks with a few Middle Eastern and Greek items. The hot Arabian tea was fantastic! If I had to pick one criticism with the menu it would be that there isn't enough kid friendly food options as far as fruits or veggies.

Love this place. Have been going to Aladdin's for about 20 yrs. The same men have been running this place for years. The best gyro's in the state. Never skip this place, never doubt this choice.

Great atmosphere with great authentic food. It reminds me of my time spent/the food I enjoyed while I was in Egypt. The price per portion and taste ratios is worth it. You definitely do not go away hungry. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes middle eastern food or anyone looking to try it for the first time.

Omg! I absolutely loved it! I had the gyro plate. I love lamb so my gyro was shawarma. I had hummus and a pita/naan bread and a salad. The salad had the long black olives with the seed. I also had Arabic tea. I had ordered ahead, so when I arrived, I noticed that they had Baklava already made. I had to get 3 different pieces, as Baklava is a dessert I like. I wish I had taken pictures, but it didn't occur to me to do so since I had just had 27 vials of blood drawn from Sanford! 😓 I would recommend trying Café Aladdin if you love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food or if you want to try something new!
