Went here with my Brazilian girlfriend for a chill lunch. Great food, great atmosphere, and pretty good pricing for LA, will definitely be back.

The savory dishes left a lot to be desired in terms of quality and flavor, I ordered a coxinha, a pie and a risolis to try and unfortunately the flavor disappoints, I can't say that I ate Brazilian savory dishes. I hope they can improve on this issue because I would love to have a place to eat Brazilian snacks in Culver City.

we had a family dinner here just for four people, and the food was amazing! My lamb chops were cooked to perfection along with that plantains and rice and salad. Everyone had a great meal that night. Service was friendly and we were invited back as if we were family. Thanks for a great meal!

Very small snacks, high value, snacks without filling, honestly I don't recommend them for snacks

I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The pastel I ordered was practically empty, filled with nothing but air—seriously lacking any substantial filling. To make matters worse, everything seemed to be fried in old oil, giving the food an unpleasant aftertaste. While the ambiance of the restaurant is undeniably beautiful, the culinary experience left much to be desired. I am Brazilian, and I can confidently say that this does not represent Brazilian cuisine. It's a real shame because the setting had so much potential, but the poor quality of the food overshadowed it all. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Delicious food! Vegetarian and vegan options! The steak was so flavorful! Rice was cooked to perfection! Plantains amazing!! Breakfast meal was so filling and good. Fresh juices were amazing! Staff were so friendly and helpful

This place was so clean and beautiful! They had fresh flowers at every table that made the whole restaurant smell so lovely. The margaritas were good but the food was the star of the show! Their skirt steak was perfectly tender and well seasoned. We’ve only been once but we will definitely be back again!

I had the worst experience with my food. It was sucky. I asked for utensils to go and they forgot and also. Guy wanted to come back when I was so far unable to finish my food!! So disappointed!!!

absolutely amazing! The breakfast was delicious and the maracuja/passion juice was spectacular (and from the actual fruit!). the ambiance and the service were also very pleasing. We will be staying at their hotel next door next time we come to LA, to be close to their restaurant. 5/5 highly recommend.

Great food and ambience. They have a couple tvs so you can watch the local sports going on. Fresh ingredients. Bread was crunchy and chewy with great texture.

Its a pity.. I remember 5 or 6 years ago I would eat at this restaurant and it was always a good meal.. They had these two young guys working checkout and grill, and you knew these guys were probably in school and just trying to support themselves or make some extra money, but the point is that they really cared about what they were doing and I think the owners really cared about the quality of the food back then.... I ordered from them about a year ago, and I wasn't very happy with the quality.. But I am an optimist and I thought I would give them one more try.. I know the owners are probably stupid and they could never appreciate the fact that I used to come to the restaurant all the time, all they care about is whatever money they are getting now... But human beings are quite short sighted that way, so I'm not surprised.. Anyways.. Now.. This time.. I ordered pickup and the food is mostly horrible.. I came home and cooked the meat a little further, and the meat is still mostly terrible, the rice is oily, the beans are all water, its just disgusting.. I ordered a desert as well, and their cake is pretty good, so there's that.. $25 mostly wasted, but I'm leaving this review, and I won't be coming back.. You should be happy I left 2 stars.. The atmosphere, some people will like.. The restaurant was not empty, but that's not accounting for taste..

The food is so well made. The flavors are amazing, and the staff is so nice. Now when I don’t feel like cooking Brazilian food and need comfort food, I will make the drive over to Cafe Brasil.

The menu is a bit weird (as in hard to understand), but the food is amazing! They also deliver directly to the room in the motel next door. Very friendly staff!

I have been here many times over the years they are always consistent with flavors, service, and cooking. The Executive Lunch is a great deal. The collard greens are delicious, and I can never resist.

Cafe Brasil is one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. The breakfast special has such a variety of food and drink, it’s not to miss! Fresh squeezed passionfruit juice, yeaaaa. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pure Brasil. Lively, colorful, nice natural skylight. Sitting outside on a warm day is great. The choice Brazilian music playing has shown me excellent songs and artists over the years. Shazam them! The people working here are kind and helpful. Cafe Brasil is a breeze of a spot in LA!

Wow! Totally blown away by this place!! We’ve always driven by and finally came for brunch one day. The food is DELICIOUS, the wait staff very kind, the place impeccably charming and clean from restaurant to bathroom and even the rooms (i popped my head in quickly while the housekeepers were cleaning out of curiosity). We will definitely be coming back for many more meals here. Highly recommend!!

It was worth crossing the city to satisfy the longing for Brazilian food. And the service was also exceptional.

We ordered the Christmas meal, spent 400 reais and it was horrible!! Dry loin, impossible to eat rice and disappointing sausage. It's been a long time since the Brazilian company lost its quality and today was the last straw. Impossible to recommend.

I have been there a few months ago and the food was expensive and of bad quality. I gave them 3 stars at first because I thought they were having a bad day or something. Today, we had a gift card and we decided to use it for Brazilian food. Since our favorite Brazilian restaurant didn't accept our gift card, we decided to give Café Brasil another chance. The environment is cozy. It feels like we are home. But the food, my gosh. It was disappointing. Seriously. We ate some because we were hungry, but who is really happy with this meal is our dog. The meat was really low quality, the seasoning was bad, the fried polenta came all squished and full of cheese. The fried Yuka is also full of shredded cheese. The food was nearly gross. That was so frustrating. It was sincerely the worst restaurant I have been to in my life. And I was looking at the reviews, they are really impolite when people give honest reviews.

I got food poisoning but the food was still good. I am not sure if I will go back. I don't recommend them. But I still can't give them a 1 or 2 star rating.

I have been going to Cafe Brasil for the past 13+ years. Incredible food, hospitality and atmosphere. When you step into the restaurant you will immediately be transported. You have to eat at the restaurant/dine in and get the whole experience, don't cheat yourself by getting take out (I know it's tempting). My faves are the salmon plate, pasta (I get it picante) either vegan or with your choice of meat, and the New Zealand lamb plate (plates come with meat, black beans, rice, plantains and either lentil soup or salad) cooked to perfection!!! There are also plenty of vegan options too. Also, the coffee is the best (served with whole ceylon cinnamon) and the mango juice is also a favorite. And don't forget about the hot sauce (they make it in house, although I do miss the house made pickled habanero and serano peppers they used to serve in the past, so spicy and flavorful). Hands down THE BEST Brazilian food in Los Angeles (find the picture of Beckham on the wall, he agrees too).

Coming from a brazillian who has decent standards for Brazilian food - I ordered three coxinhas togo and they were just not good. Not really any flavor, the texture of the chicken was dry, the cheese was just mushy and didn’t add much flavor to it. Maybe the other food there is good, but it is clear they don’t really know how to make coxinhas. I don’t mean to bring this business down, I’m sure there is many good things about their restaurant, but this just my opinion on the coxinhas

Linguica Saute was delicious. Fried polenta was also fantastic. Good portion size

This place is really good. Rodrigo is a very nice guy who makes you feel at home. The food is really good. It's different from other restaurants because you have to order first at the counter and they give you a number and they bring the food out to you. If you go you won't be disappointed. Whoever says this is the best Brazilian restaurant in town must be delusional or never even had Brazilian food before. The passion juice fruit I ordered was watery and tasteless. The ham in my sandwich was burned and the pastel was a joke. They don’t know how to make vinaigrette and the overall food quality was just bad. Yeah good ambience but I don’t go to restaurants to look at the walls, u go to eat well. Extremely dissatisfied and praying I don’t get food poisoning..

First time eating here. Recommended by a friend. Also, it was the first time I had eaten Brazilian food. Delicious. Restaurant very cozy. Next time I'm going to take pictures of the food. I do get a bit uncomfortable taking pictures of what I'm about to eat. All in all,I recommend this restaurant for everyone wanting a different flavor than basic burgers and other regular eating.

Local favorite, always fresh ingredients and a marvelous chef. Brazilian cuisine - you have to try the black beans, rice, chicken, plantains. No one does it like the owners, warm, affectionate folks and the spirit is in the food.

Sandwiches have high quality material and are well cooked. The coffee with cinnamon sides is unique and delicious.

Oh, what a wonderful place! Just like being in Brasil again! Warm, friendly owners greeted us like family - and fed us a fantastic breakfast - the egg scramble was delicious, and such a treat to get fried plantains, traditional cheese bread, and oh my the fresh juice! Even the toast was special and delicious. I was in heaven! Can't wait to visit again.

FRESH!! Everything was so fresh and delicious!! The cheese breads brought me back to São Paulo! The lentil soup was flavorful, but could have had a dash of salt or hot sauce. Those lamb chops were so tender and very well seasoned! Even the rice tasted good 😂 The fried plantains we’re crispy and perfectly done! I had the passion fruit juice and I can’t say enough about it! That word fresh just keeps coming up! I was warmly greeted when I got to the register. A lovely older woman took my order and was very friendly! I didn’t wait long for my food. The ambiance is charming. It’s colorfully and thoughtfully decorated and there’s soft music playing! I will definitely be back! I’d even bring my Brazilian friends here!

Trata-se de um restaurante de comida brasileira, cuja proprietária é brasileira. É anexo a um motel tambem da mesma dona, mas não tinha vaga quando fomos. O restaurante em si é bem aconchegante e tem um clima de Brasil. Se sentiu vontade de uma comidinha brasileira esse é o lugar. Os preços não são baixinhos rs como tudo em LA, mas foi bem servido e muito saboroso. A simpatia da proprietária é destaque.

Have been going to Cafe Brasil for years now.. love this place! The food, the staff, and the atmosphere is second to none. The care and attention they put into their food, it never misses a mark! My favorite is the chicken plate with rice, beans and plantains. So delicious! And don’t forget the spicy black bean or lentil soup! Feels like going home whenever I visit.

What a great place! The restaurant was very popular. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. They have cups for water out so you don’t need to ask. I highly recommend the chicken Milanese. It is a perfect sized portion. It too big but filling enough

Always delicious with great staff

We stayed at the motel and dined in the restaurant a few tines. The food is delicious, I cannot argue with that. Atmosphere is also authentic. However, portions are very small compared with the prices. And I can guess what owners will write: “everything’s overpriced these days”, “we focus on quality, not quantity”, but if I pay 30$ for pasta, please add more than a cup of pasta. The marginal cost for that will be pennies, but you will make your customer happy and he/she will not have to munch on crackers after having dinner.

Have never ate Brazilian food. Although my plate was decent it was ridiculously over priced. The food portions are unacceptable for the price range. My party sadly had a bad experience their food got them sick. One of them ordered the specialty and they were super disappointed. The sugar cane alcoholic beverage was probably the best tasting thing we tried, and probably because it was made of sugar. 😑 not a good place for Hispanics imo.

Good food but not brazilian cuisine, more like a brazilian style restaurant.

Both crab cake and soft-shell crab appetizers were excellent with the side of plantains we shared. Also the breakfast entree: made a delicious construct-your-own sandwich of it!
