The food doesn't taste as great as I remembered it years ago

We are now in TX, but miss you! Food is amazing!

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years, whenever we are traveling on I-44 from St. Louis to Springfield, MO, but didn’t have the opportunity until recently, a friend told me about it and highly recommended that we stop for a meal, if I ever had the opportunity, this restaurant did not disappoint in any way!! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, great portion size, the decor is very clean and cozy. I absolutely would recommend having a meal at this lovely, quaint place to anyone passing by on I-44, great small town business in St. Robert to enjoy when you’re traveling! Will definitely be back when we are in the area!!

Authentic Korean food. Delicious lunch.

A birthday dinner with friends. Service was on point as usual. Food was delicious, and portions were substantial. We have yet to have a bad experience here and I don't forsee one any time soon. Price is very reasonable for what you get. We keep coming back because it's worth it.

Absolutely delicious 🤤 my daughter and son in law took me for birthday dinner here. Was the best dinner and we even had leftovers for the next day. So good

Outstanding. Our group had a wonderful lunch here. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive and the food quality was excellent. This is my first trip to the area, but I will definitely plan to return here on future trips.

Friendly service. Arrived almost closing time and they still served without rushing me to finish up. Got the hot stone bibimbap, was huge and delicious. And came with side of soup and 6 side banchans! Def my go to when ever I visit FLW

A friend, her daughter and I were on vacation in Missouri. We were told about this little restaurant and how good it was. WOW! It is a little place, seems like a Mom & Pop kinda place. The waitress as so super nice & friendly. We ordered, and the portions of food?? WOW! Nearly filled the whole bowl! I barely could get a little over a quarter through. They were quick, food was hot & it was yummy! Thank you Cafe Korea for a wonderful meal!

Growing up eating Korean food, it is nice to have it so authentic. Every time I return to St. Robert this will most definitely be on my list. Support your local Koreans.

This restaurant is the best quality restaurant in St. Robert (food wise) hands down. I LOVE going here to eat, it’s always fresh and delicious, and it’s always fast. The only thing I will say is the old white man who takes orders can be a bit stand-off ish and strange, like staring at you like a deer in headlights strange. And sometimes the older Asian lady that takes orders forgets things. That’s okay tho to be able to eat the food here.

Food is amazing! A loved one grew up in Korea and this is the place they want to go when we grab Korean food. Makes for a lovely outing! Always clean, friendly folks, and the food is the star of the show. EDIT: They have seriously upgraded their service! 5 stars, all the way! Go in expecting fresh delicious food and you'll be happy. Highly recommend!

Authentic food at great prices. Went for lunch, only compliant is we wished the chicken teriyaki was made with white meat... Maybe that's a option though and we just didn't see it. The crab ragoons are delicious and they bring the sweet and sour sauce out in a squirt bottle for all you sauce babies like me. The spicy ramen was yummy. We can't wait to go back for the cook it your self Korean BBQ during dinner.

The yum gae jang and dol sot bibimbap were amazing, and the egg drop soup was the best I've ever had! Can't wait to go back!!

I always have an amazing experience here at Cafe Korea. Best restaurant in St. Robert and a place I always visit anytime I am at Fort Leonard Wood. The food is authentic korean and priced reasonably.

Let me just say I went here 7yrs ago and was amazed. One of the only things I was looking forward to when my husband said he had orders to Leonard Wood. They did not disappoint. I got homemade kimchi from a coworker in DC who grew up in Korea, Cafe Korea Kimchi is just as good.

Best Korean food in the area! Large servings and reasonable prices. The owner and staff are so nice. We try to eat there every time we go to St. Robert.

The last time we were able to eat here, the staff was all screaming at each other. They had to be alerted by customers already seated that new customers had entered and were waiting to be seated. Tonight we went in 45 minutes before they closed and they refused to serve us. The man that runs the place said it was too late to get food. Cafe Korea has gone incredibly downhill since the new ownership took over. The food is not as good and the service is close to the worst I've ever had. When the previous owners were running this restaurant, we would eat there at least once a week, often more. It saddens me that our favorite restaurant in town has now become one of the worst places to eat in St. Robert. To make matters even worse, the owner was caught on a security camera throwing a kitten in the dumpster at a business next door.

This place is always a win. From the sides they give you when you sit down to everything on the menu to the kind employees / owners. If you are new in town and are looking for a cozy place to eat with delicious food, this is the spot We usually get the Bibimbap, Kimchi soup, or the sesame chicken

Rude and disrespectful costumer service. The man behind the counter wasn't even trying to hear us out. He took his hand to try to dismiss my sister and shut her up. 🙄😒 Food isn't even all that, it was decent, but nothing wow, just basic. The experience made it worse.

I really wanted to like this. I was trying to surprise my husband for his bday to Korean BBQ. he likes this kind of food. we get there and they looked closed to start with (the sign was off) we were able to walk in and get sat. I saw the little tables that you cook your food with so I was happy bc this is what we wanted. well we are seated and looking at the menu and nothing is marked off the list to notify they are out of stock or not serving certain things. I get it its been a cold snowy couple days and I understand you can be out of things. we couldn't even do the BBQ. either they no longer do it or wasn't for whatever reason. we can't seem to order anything I want. they have no soup, no crab ragoon, no beef bulgogi. i asked what do you have? we asked for spring rolls and she brought us egg rolls. its like she wanted to get what she could figure out. poor gal seemed confused bc she didn't understand a word needless to say this 4.3 stars they currently have is a lie. my hopes of having good Korean BBQ was shattered and will not reccomend or ever come back. good luck with your next meal. be careful they might be CASH only even though they advertise credit/debit. edit: the food was alright. but I would go back due to back experience.

Rated Most Authentic in the local Oriental Resturaunts locally in the area. The inexpensive, yet authentically cooked food comes to you timely and with very substantial amounts. You certainly will get what you pay for here. The business operates in a clean environment and abides by State and Federal COVID-19 guidelines. I highly recommend this resturaunt for any individuals seeking Korean BBQ or other native South Korean foods 👍

I revised my thoughts of this restaurant after recently eating here again after a year. I believe that this place has lost a little over that time, not to mention severely limiting their portions. They have now moved into 3rd place in regards to food out of the Korean restaurants in the community, and are in 2nd place when it comes to dining experience. I hope they can turn it around and go back to 4 stars.

This place was amazing. I was in the mood for some Korean food and decided to try cafe Korea. I was thrilled with the entire experience. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. I tried the kimbap japchae.

My first time eating authentic Korean. I had the lunch special beef bulgogi and enjoyed it. The waitress must be hard of hearing, though. My coworker ordered Shrimp Yaki Soba and got chicken. My other coworker ordered just water to drink and got lemonade. Aside from those issues, I would recommend this place, as the food is good and the meal sat well with me for the drive home. The seemed to do a good job at thoroughly cleaning the tables after each group left, also.

This is the misty consistent and authentic Korean food you can get. The family that operates it is polite and attentive. If you like Korean food, you have found the right place. I suggest the Kalbi short ribs!

I found this place a couple of weeks ago and have eaten here several times since! Carryout is almost always ready in under 15 minutes for my beef bulgogi and it is tasty and flavorful. Highly recommend.

The only place in St. Roberts that you can eat beef and leaf... Korean BBQ, that you get to cook yourself.

Visited from out of town, and this place has changed beyond belief... I was made aware ownership has changed, and it is very apparent of such. Prices have went up, and food is subpar in comparison to what it used to be. Social distancing was not in place by any means, with crowded tables. Staff was rude, telling people they were closing at 7, and trying to send people out the door. I do hope this place does get better.

I have always loved Cafe Korea. I typically get beef bugolgi with Yaki Mandu. I have never been disappointed.

Firt time we ate here was about a year and a half ago, the food was okay aswas the service. The second time was about a month after that and the server was bery rude when we asked if we could order off menu, so rude we just got up and left. We heard it was under new management so went back, food and service was good, we did not ask to order off menu, too tramatized from first time. May try again and ask that question.

Cafe Korea is fantastic, and these stars for this review are purely on the professionalism/courtesy of the staff, as well as the food presentation and taste. Cafe Korea is a nice hole-in-the-wall place right outside of the installation of Fort Leonard Wood. The majority of the served meals are comfort food items, such as my personal favorite kimchi jjigae, with others such as spicy pork, and various rice dishes, stews, and even grill menu items. BE WARNED, this location does not accept credit cards/debit cards/check as payment, it is strictly cash which albeit unusual and inconvenient, there is an ATM in the lobby that can accommodate. Now for the griping, it is unfavorable to charge $21.99 a person to use the grills when you have a two person minimum requirement to use it, meaning that you'll spend AT LEAST 40 dollars between two people to use the grill, which is part of the allure of those particular menu items, this is in addition to drinks, appetizers, and any other particular food items which are $10.99 or more! That's all I got, like I said great place, great food, just prepare your wallet.

Little expensive and they only take cash but good food.

Cafe Korea has the best crab rangoons in the area. I always order those and the chicken teriyaki or the beef bulgogi. The prices are a bit high, and they don't accept cards, but those are small sacrifices for such delicious food.
