When we order for takeout they give stale food and we order for dine in they give leftover food which is already gone bad and i see very rude behavior with there working staff

This is most worst restaurant i have ever seen in my life with no hygiene and no proper treatment for its workers I beg anyone not to visit this restaurant

Short Version: Tasty spicing, but the chicken in both our dishes was overcooked and dried out. Not anything at all like the Cafe Momo of years ago. Not recommended. Long Version: We used to regularly visit Cafe Momo years ago. Loved the food. Always fresh. Always healthy. Crispy veg. Juicy chicken. Simple, coherent, menu. The other night, we returned to Momo’s for the first time in years. The menu has changed. The food has changed. And one of it for the better. The Indian dishes on the menu are confusing. I asked the waiter about the Hyderabadi biryani (a dish with which I am familiar) and he said it was nothing like Hyderabadi biryani. Curious, right? Yeah… Rama’s Chicken was still on the menu, but the chicken was super dry and overcooked. The veg were… not plentiful and over cooked. The sauce was tasty. But… overall a sub-par dish. The same for the other chicken dish we had. A few limp green beans, some onion, some overcooked peppers. Again, dry chicken (pieces in this dish). And, again, tasty sauce. This dish we ordered at a spice level of “7” on the 1-10 scale (with 10 being the most spicy). And it wasn’t spicy. We had the gundruk soup to start. Spicy, but lacking content. Very few soy nuts. So… sad. We were sooo disappointed. Not at all like the Cafe Momo years back. I hear the old owner opened a new place in Portsmouth some years back. Guess we need to go there. Sadly… not recommended.

Tried Chowmein, veggie, and soup momos…Best taste so far..must visit if you are in New Hampshire…!!

We love Cafe Momo! The food is excellent and the people are so very nice! The Vegetable Momo is fabulous. You can order take-out or dine-in. The dining room is pleasant. The service is excellent.

I tried some food there, but nothing is good. It was so terrible and we just wasting our money. And the taste smell bad. It’s not coming real. Fresh food. Smell bad. 👎👎😡😡😡

True essence of Nepal ! Loved their food , service and ambience. We ordered mixed Momo plater, paratha , shrimp curry, pani puri and masala chai. Everything was good ! There is only one waitress but she is welcoming and nice in her service . Ambience is homely and peaceful. Will definitely come back with friends.

I decided to check out Cafe Momo on a whim while getting my tires changed today. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by a kind man who continuously made sure everything was going well as I ate. The food was DELICIOUS. The chicken curry was to die for and they asked how spicy I would like it. I asked for medium and they crushed it! I also got incredible samosas, delicious black tea and a great mojito. I can’t wait to come back again and get the chicken Momo! Thank you guys!

We stopped here for dinner on the way back from a hike in the Whites (it’s right off the highway) and thought that the quality of the food rivaled most places in Boston. The momos (the combo platter is clearly the best deal) and the curry were complexly spiced and delicious, and the service was very attentive. If you want a change from the usual New Hampshire diner food, definitely eat here! Place could use some low background music though, it was oddly quiet.

Expect some great food and service. Try their Soup MOMO for winter and if you want to go extra mile, try "Bhutan" see below

Stopped by for a takeout lunch. Very nice owner and staff. Very clean inside. Food was incredible! All fresh, great spice levels that cater to your tastes. I had Gundruck soup (pretty spicy broth with depth of flavor), Lamb Tarkari (tender lamb and a garden of fresh veg in a dark ginger and garlic sauce). Wife had Rama’s Chicken and the Momo combo platter. All was delicious! Will definitely be back!!

Excellent, flavorful and perfectly spiced food! We had a platter of mixed momo, a veggie noodle dish and stir fried shrimp. Yummy !! Our sever, Alex was attentive and quite nice. I don't live in the area but will return when I visit.

This food was about as tasty as anything I’ve eaten in a long time. This is a hidden gem. You have to try the Momo’s (they make a combo platter of different types), the curry is great too. Incredibly attentive service, and you will absolutely love the food.

Delicious food, respectful employees, and the owner is very kind. I highly recommend eating here. I hope to be back here ASAP

Delish momos, tried the veggie ones and the lamb ones. Both really good, but the lamb momos were the hit at our table! Will definitely recommend and I'll be back!

Great food, must visit if you appreciate Indian/Nepali cuisine.

The chicken curry and momos were outstanding ! Deep, rich flavors infused in fresh veggies and meat. All was great ... except a surprise about the prices. We were told the prices had gone up a little from what was listed in the menu but both items were 40 to 60% more than liste ! 8 Momos listed at $8 turned into 13 and curry went from 15 to 19. Hopefully the menu will updated soon. Everything else was relaxing and full of home-like dining atmosphere.

This is the real deal. Small, delicious, and a place you want to check out. This isn't your typical spot. Lamb, goat, chicken, fish Tawa, curry, and more.. I can't say enough about the variety. Try it. I am recommending to a friend.

Food was good, but just because its a delivery order, you cant give burnt kotey momos. Thats not good. We have to reorder food now because we had to throw them.

The food and people were amazing. The lentil soup and chicken jerk were the bomb and lamb momo we dynamite. Will be back for sure. Ironically, just dashed an order because I’m hungry and want the soup and chicken again 😂

Stopped here on our way back from the mountains and had a really yummy meal! Great vegetarian options and lots of flavor. We got the Alloo Gobi, Basil Chicken, and the Spinach Momos and everything was delicious

The food is incredible and staff are so kind. Ambiance is a work in progress but who cares…the food is amazing, we’ll be back lots to try everything on the menu. Momos are amazing. I love the veggie options but lots of good meat options, too.

This is a hidden gem. They are very polite and prices are very reasonable. I like the "at home" feel they have in there. Find the momo you like and try it both steamed and fried

What a wonderful discovery! Inside the unassuming storefront is a varied menu of rich and flavorful dishes. Some may be familiar to those who enjoy Indian cuisine and there are novel Nepalese delights for all tastes. Spiciness is adjustable, so be mild or go wild. We had some of each and were impressed with the chef's expertise. The vegetarian dishes were luscious. We have saved Cafe Momo to our maps for ready return.

What a great find! Super unassuming, quiet Nepalese restaurant. Had some dumplings (amazing) and Rama’s Chicken (also amazing).

My wife and I just enjoyed our first meal at Cafe MoMo. It was great! The appetizer, meal and dessert were all delicious and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend giving this place a try. We will be back!

Each dish is individually prepared. It takes some time, but is well worth the wait.

Incredible food! Similar ingredients/style to Indian but a unique & delicious spice driven (not necessarily spicy) flavor profile. Staff were all amazing. Momo (spinach, lamb, buffalo) were incredible, the choila is incredibly flavorful, and both the lamb Tawa and Thali need to be tasted to be believed. Will make this a mandatory stop when in the area. 10/10 wish they had a place like this near to where I live!

Best Nepalese food in a 50 mile radius.

We had to wait an hour to get our appetizers, and another half hour to get our entrees. The momos were fine but the entrees were bad- my mushroom curry was bland and had an onion skin in it. While waiting in the dining room I could also heard a microwave beeping in the kitchen every few minutes- I’d have to assume our entrees were microwaved based on this and the lacking taste and texture.

Absolutely delicious! The best meal I’ve had in a long time! Waiter was helpful and attentive!

I love stopping in here, especially in the winter. It's so cozy and the decorations are colorful and welcoming to all. They also offer excellent delivery options. I haven't found a bad thing on the menu.

My twentysomething found this restaurant on the Internet. “Places in Manchester Where People in Boston Might Eat.” We were in Manchester, and looking for a place to eat. I was a little ambivalent when we walked in to the simple decor of a store front, but who needs fancy when the food is fabulous. We had good chicken momoes and great Nepalese food. The service was attentive and gracious. Each dish was carefully prepared to order. For example, saag is usually more like creamed spinach, but theirs was minced with more minced veggies and spices. Lovely texture and flavor. The mango lassi had a lovely, faint cardamom flavor. The Rama chicken broth was delectable. The basmati was perfect. I’m planning my next trip soon

Everything was so amazing, we couldn't stop ordering food! This is definitely one of the best ethnic restaurants, amazing for an adventurous eater and people who want to learn the culture around food.

After just coming back from Kathmandu, this is a superb opportunity to experience genuine Nepalese fare. Highly recommended! 🇳🇵🧡 my wife and I ordered as much as we could. I highly suggest the traditional Gendruk soup.

Soup momo was something different from usual. It was very delicious. One wasn’t enough!! They also gave us generous amount of chili sauce which was “twaka”(right amount of spice) for my pallet. Chicken taas was more like fajita and it taste yum as well!! Staffs were really sweet. Would have given 5 star if the portion was a bit more for the price.

One of my new favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, the staff is super accomodating and kind, the spice level is awesome. We ordered the pani poori (which they graciously taught us how to eat), the spinach and paneer momo with a spicy chutney, and the tofu curry. Mango lassi for dessert! Prices were exceedingly reasonable. We'll be back! Easy parking, lots of great vegetarian options.

Great food, amazing service! The food is very fresh and well prepared. The owner was very friendly and explained the menu to us. He also demonstrated how to eat certain foods. There was complimentary tea and even a dish to accompany something else we ordered recommended by the chef. An absolute hidden gem that everyone should visit!

Me and my family had such high hopes for this place. We read all the great reviews and the prices looked great, compared to other places we had ordered from. We ordered for 4, and it came up to be about 80 dollars. We had been told it would be at our home at 1:30, and the drop off showed up at 2:40. When we went to check our food, everything was cold and the desert was like soup (when it’s supposed to be much thicker.) the chicken was so hard and the sauce was like tomato sauce with hot sauce. For a cultural place, I was very disappointed. I’ve always loved Nepali food having grown up with it and never having such a negative experience, this was really upsetting. the chicken was barely even spiced! really big letdown.

Had to leave without eating, will not recommend ! Ownership has changed .

I've been to this place 5 times, but have only eaten there twice. Why? Because I've been THREE TIMES during hours they're supposed to be open and the place is locked up, lights off, closed sign on the door. Last night I had reservations I made through their website. We got there and it was totally closed up. I give it a star for each time I've been and have actually eaten here - because it was great. My suggestion is to call before heading there to make sure they're open. Unfortunately, they're off our list of places to try and eat. There are way too many other places around that keep normal, reliable hours.

Great take on authentic Nepali food. The goat meat curry was amazing with the thali that I ordered. We also ordered momo and goat bhutan, both were also amazing. I would definitely recommend this Nepali place. The rabri (Nepali dessert) was a cherry on the cake. Def coming back!!!

Cute place with complimentary chai (got 2 refills), twas good and then we ordered 1 mix plate of momos (chicken, buffalo, wild boar) and 1 veg momos. Chicken momos were really good and fresh. We ended up ordering another plate. Be prepared it can take up to ~ 15 mins to get your order since their preparations are so fresh. Would definitely recommend it!!!

Eating here right now. Been coming here for a few years, the place has the best momos but man there’s flies flying everywhere. There’s a man (maybe an owner/manager) screaming and being dreadfully mean to some employees inside. I tried to avoid focusing on that but he’s so loud and saying mean stuff to the staffs and it breaks my heart. The serving girl seems sweet and I can’t help but think that he treats her like that too. That man ought to talk to his team with respect. Never coming back. Also, my boyfriend says the paneer is really bad!

What can I say? You have to taste it for yourself. Their award winning dumplings, award winning entrees... Every bite is like a chefs kiss! They put a lot of love into their food. You can taste their commitment to fresh ingredients. You will feel healthy after eating here. Everything they make is award winning. They have a great Vegan menu and also have amazing options for meat eaters.

My boyfriend took me here for lunch last week. I had tofu and he had lamb, the food and service was excellent as always. I have been several times over the last 9 years and enjoyed every visit. On this occasion I was introduced to a complimentary cup of masala tea (an Indian version of chai tea with a sweetened milk) which was a delightful surprise on a cold day. Come visit this hidden treasure.

Be careful if you have food allergies! I spent 10 mins on the phone finding a meal that was gluten free and vegan- the person on the phone said the whole place is gluten free. When I arrived 45 mins later to pick up, I confirmed that everything was free of dairy and gluten and turns out my order had both. They are safeserv certified but had no idea about basic allergies. I could have gotten really sick. Now I’m just hangry

!!EDIT: this restaurant is under new ownership. Different recipes, different food. Next time you’re ordering take out, make this your move! Manchester is so lucky to have a unique spot like this. Take out is the jam, all of the momo’s are unreal(authentic and fresh), the noodles are awesome, the humdrum soup is incredible, the plantain is good, the bread is good. it’s affordable. Check it out.

The food was refreshing! We reached very close to closing time so couldn't try the momos but the noodles and chicken curry were spot on! The chef was courteous and great to speak with too!

What is this amazing Nepalese/Indian food restaurant doing buried way up in Manchester, NH?!? I went here tonight for dinner with my mom and sister (both of whom generally have more... mild taste buds than myself) and the food was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS! The variety of Momo options BLEW my mind - we ordered 3 different kinds and each was SO different, and SO perfect!! I have travelled a bit in Sikkim, India - a state which borders both Nepal and Tibet, and these momo were the best I've eaten since I was there. Seriously. (If you don't know what Momo are - think basically, delicious juicy dumplings). BUT. Let's not forget to mention the Hyderabadi Biryani!!! Holy WOW it was fantastic. Again, some of the best I've had in ages and ages. The service was sweet, the inside was clean, and there were clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. I am not someone who bothers to write many reviews - but I had to write this one, right away, because the experience was that excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, and though I live 45 minutes away, you can believe I will be making the trip back soon - and often!

The food was delicious, but a bit overpriced for what we got. But we not rushed out the door, and the staff was very helpful in answering questions and offering suggestions.

Came in for takeout and I think the owner was the one who helped me. Literally some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The second I stepped in he helped me find the menu I was having trouble finding. He got me water and a chair and I didn't ask for anything. He was so nice! Also the food is great. I like the seafood momo they have, but the spinach and paneer one is also amazing!

Excellent restaurant a real jewel of Manchester. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We had Vegetable MOMO (Vegan) Minced Vegetable ,Ginger/Garlic and other spices wrapped in a dough, Gundruk soup and the best was Nepali Thali (Vegetarian) (Served with Rice, Dal, Vegetable Curry, Gundruk (Fermented Pickle) , Aloo Aachar, Aloo Tama, Garden Salad and Ghee. Beware the food can be very hot. I most try restaurant when in Manchester.

I just want to say, that Rama's chicken is so freaking good. I just ordered some and it was absolute food nirvana, thank you. I will be ordered it every week until the end of time, I cannot express to you how amazing it was. Truly thank you for this culinary masterpiece.

Very good food. Wasn't sure if it was culture or busyness that it took so long to serve us food. We didn't think we would be in a hurry but we were by the end.
