Every time I go here the food is amazing and super tasty. They are great at letting you add or modify an order, so you get exactly what you want.

This place is absolutely amazing! I have been coming here for over a decade and the food quality has remained top notch, customer service is the friendliest around, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming! I cannot recommend Cafe Rumba enough and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to visit!

Mango salsa! Shrimp quesadilla! Need I say more? Everything is superb here. My only wish is that I lived closer. Love it all.

As usual it was great! They fix a really great meal that's very tasty and filling. The atmosphere is exactly what it should be and that is very pleasant. I've noticed that nobody seems to pay attention to their cell phones when they're there. That's a good sign.

It’s like a better cafe Rio or costa Vida. Better options. Higher quality tasting food.

This fun little restaurant was my brother's favorite restaurant when he attended Midwestern, which is just down the street. I love eating there anytime I'm in this part of the valley. I describe it as Chipotle with Flair and fun flavors. They make some pretty good horchata.

Similar to a Chipotle style experience with a good mix of sides and proteins. Loved their tropical tea and my shrimp burrito was solid, the amount of shrimp was a little bit on the smaller side hence the star off.

We love going to Cafe Rumba, great food, nice staff and reasonable prices.

"Chipotle style" restaurant where you pick your ingredients and they build your item in front of you. Ordered the Rumba Salad (Fresh cooked flour tortilla bowl filled with your choice of meat, beans, rice, corn, leafy greens topped with cheese, salsa, and tortilla strips. Roasted tomatillo ranch or cilantro lime vinaigrette served on the side) Tortilla was regular Tortilla like they use for the burrito so it's not a fried shell, wife enjoyed it. I got the Enchiladas (3 corn tortillas rolled up with your choice of meat. Smothered in red or green sauce with rice and beans) with Shredded Beef and red sauce, was really good. Beans were also good with the salsa that was on the side, salsa is very mild. Will definitely be back.

Not wanting a large meal for dinner wife suggested this place that she had been to in the past. This is a small inconspicuous location next to a bank. Family run business that is very helpful and friendly. I had the baja taco with shrimp. You just tell them what you want included on it. We also had chips and salsa. Absolutely great meal. One needs no ambience when the food is very good. While eating there I saw several takeout orders being picked up..

Been coming to Cafe Rumba for years, we're so lucky they're close! The food is refreshing; it's Baja Mexican! One rare characteristic that's difficult to find in most restaurant is that the food is exceptionally consistent; the greens - crispy & fresh every time, the meats - tender & flavorful (OMG the pork & chicken!), chips - thin, warm, lightly salted, the guacamole - well, it's my favorite and it's exquisite. It's family owned, the staff is lovely. If you're in the mood for fresh Mexican you can't beat Cafe Rumba.

First visit to this place and had a very great experience, food is made fresh, cheaper and lighter compared to Chipotle in my opinion. You get the best value for your buck, the staff here are very friendly and I had ordered the Ramba Burrito 🌯 with a side of chips and salsa. Definitely will return in the future! (Red enchiladas) pictured as well with my grandma she said it tasted very well done.

It was super bland and just not good. It’s Mexican food, but imagined by someone in the Midwest who’s never actually tasted Mexican food. I hate leaving reviews like this, but there is no way this place should be rated this high. I should’ve gone an extra mile down the road where there’s two good restaurants.

Absolutely bussin. do yourself a favor and get the sweet and spicy carnitas and your soul will leave your body and transport into a higher domain of culinary being. Also great prices and employees. Also never try cafe rio that place is disgusting

This place is so awesome! The shredded beef is the best I've had. I recommend you add the green chili's. The mild salsa that comes with the side chips is very good...not spicy but very tasty. Im not much of a seafood guy, but I do want to try their shrimp stuff soon. Thanks guys, we'll done.

So good and consistent every time. I work at the dental office next door and we all eat there weekly. Everything is good, their tortillas are so good ! My favorite is their quesadilla and enchiladas. Their baja sauce is the best !

Go, now! We went in and ordered to-go, and even after the short drive home we are super impressed by how fresh and delicious everything is. I had chicken enchiladas, one green and two red - both were so yummy! Boyfriend got sweet spicy pork on a bbq pizza = amazing. Only upset we didn’t find this gem sooner. We’ll be back, thanks Rumba staff!!!

Great neighborhood place! It's quick, there is plenty of space to dine in comfortably, or you can take it to the house. Best of all, the food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend adding the green chilies to anything you order. Excellent!

I don’t like leaving pessimistic reviews, but this was the most bland Mexican food I’ve had in Arizona. Got the Baja Tacos expecting to have something special, but it was just okay. My friend in town wanted Mexican food and it was not what we expected. Good thing they have salt packets and hot sauce. Y’all really need to step the game up.

Cafe Ruma is one of my wife's and my favorite places in Phoenix to go out to eat. If you like baja Mexican, you can't go wrong here. All ingredients are super fresh. The staff is friendly. It's a great place.

This is a great place for very reasonable Mexican food lunch and dinner. They have great specials the staff is wonderful extremely helpful they know who I am when I walk in the door they greet me with a smile. They always go Above & Beyond. I have been coming here ever since they opened I would recommend it to everyone. What I like the most is I actually get to watch them make my food right in front of me.
