My son and I went for the first time today. We ordered a Sicilian with pepperoni and half olives. Usually you get black olives on a pizza but I was told they only use whole Kalamata olives, which was fine. The pizza was loaded with toppings but could’ve stayed in the over a little longer. Still, it was a decent pie. The staff were very pleasant. We”ll go back again and try a standard pizza next time.

One of my absolute favorite spots. Food is ALWAYS delicious and I think it’s the best pizza in the entire state. Staff is welcoming, kind, and helpful.

Probably the best veal I had in a long time. It was expensive but delicious. Plus the staff was very friendly.

I haven’t visited the restaurant but I called out-of-state yesterday as I needed help getting in contact with a business next door and whoever answered the phone (sounded like an older gentleman) was super quick to help and go next door within a minute of speaking to me. I was pretty worried about not being able to get in contact with the other business, and this quick action seriously helped ease my worries. I will definitely stop by next time I am in the area- clearly some amazing and compassionate staff!

My first visit to this place left much to be desired. I opted for two slices of pepperoni pizza, but was disappointed by the sloppy craftsmanship. Each bite was overloaded with pepperoni, making it difficult to enjoy the flavor balance. Additionally, the uneven distribution of cheese further detracted from the overall experience."

Cafe Verdi has been on our weekly eating circuit for more than two decades. Quality food served by a great family. Everything is made to order. If you don't see it on the menu, ask. Chances are that Joe will make it special for you. (Don't go if you want pre-made franchise stuff.)

Went to pick up my order on March 1st approximately 8:50. The Lady at the register was scrolling on the phone she didn’t even realized I came inside the restaurant then went to her co worker and was talking about how some guy tipped her well and she didn’t care that the guy paid the wrong bill because she claims he always tips well. Why would you not care about your mistake when the guy tips you well . The guy that was in the kitchen went to the register and tried to tell the lady check with for his order and give it to me she completely ignored him and both of them continued talk ten minutes in the conversation ended and then they handed me my food. The whole time my food was ready and sitting by the register before I even arrived got the food and it was cold. One I was not acknowledged by the lady and they made me wait about ten minutes when my food was just sitting there. Customer should be first and hearing the lady boast how she made a customer that usually comes there and tips really well make that guy pay a higher bill than he should’ve and saying she doesn’t care just rubbed me the wrong way . I would not support this business and very unprofessional. I hope this was a learning lesson.

Customer service was disappointing to say the least… Placed an order in door dash and here it is almost 2hrs later and no food…. The owner cancelled my order after the dasher arrived and had him waiting there for 30min.. the owner told me i will make it for you come pick it up… I’m taking care of an 83yr old woman… NECER AGAIN will my family and I order from you again!!! Nasty attitude. Don’t offer the service if you can’t full fill.. The dasher never took my order because YOU would not release it with a code.. As a matter of fact when I spoke to you…your exact words were “i prepare now you come get it” The service is there for a reason.. Poor service. Atleast be hones

I waited for my food for over 1hr and 20minutes only for cafe Verdi to cancel it because they couldn’t or didn’t want to fulfill the order!! Pooooorrrr service told me to come pick it up myself… NEVER AGAIN lost our family business

Great tasting pizza and other quality offerings plus good prompt service, however slightly inconsistent. Wife and I ordered a large plain pie to go 2 weeks ago, I go in and pay 13 cash. Last night I ordered the same large plain pie but my Wife was charged 16 cash. No mention of a change in price to be found anywhere, price point is why we didn't go across the street. Was missing some crust on this oval pie as well.

Most people associate Cafe Verdi with pasta and pizza (which are both very good) but I'm here to tell you their new and improved cheesesteak may be the best in Delaware. Real shaved ribeye, perfect texture seeded roll, and Cooper cheese. Seriously, this is the real deal, worth seeking out for cheesesteak connoisseurs.

Food was excellent and portions were abundant size. Cafe style dining without pretense. Perfect place to eat and socialize.

Food was outstanding. Brought a bottle of wine with us. We did not have a corkscrew so we requested that it be opened and also requested 2 wine glasses. For that we were charged $25. I've been to 5 star restaurants and the fee was maybe $5 to $7. But $25????? That is very excessive. If you bring your own wine then bring a corkscrew plus your own wine glasses.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was like a pizzeria. The prices are high, for gluten free pasta there is a $6 up charge, which is far higher than most restaurants usually $2-3. The meal came with no salad and came with regular bread. For pasta bolognase it was $24.99. A beer was $9 and club soda was $4.50.

Don’t believe the prices on the menu…ordered mozzarella sticks specifically from here because the price was cheaper than where I normally go. Then I get to restaurant to pick up my food and I was charged $26 for 2 mozzarella orders…what the menu stated would only cost $14 total. I felt completely lied to and the only explanation I received was “The online menu isn’t right…” as if I didn’t already know that. I completely miss leading prices and menu. I will not be coming back here again…smh

First time take out. Dissapointed with the $11 Appetizer Chicken breast strips. The kids meal would have been the better alternative atleast it comes with fries for $11. We also got the ravioli/sausauge with red sauce. Not enough sauce and did you deep fry the sausage, was too tough. Hard pass on these, other pic is homemade $7 pack of chicken from the nearest grocery store.
